Sony Actually CONFIRMS PS5 Pro Leak IS TRUE! This Makes Xbox Series X Look PATHETIC!

[Music] so I know a lot of you are hungry for the PlayStation 5 Pro information any kind of scrap or morsel that we can get our hands on to and I'm kind of the same way and so I very much wanted to talk about this and see how everybody felt you know this is one of those things where I think a lot of us were very much kind of like well how come we haven't heard anything on this in in such a long time I think it's kind of crazy but I also think that you know there's obviously reasons for that I think it's pretty clear that if you're Sony you do not want to have you know this announcement of a pro too much in advance even though the hardcore already know about it there's a large contingent that know nothing about it and so you don't want to end up killing sales of your console that you have out now for 8 months and you know it looks like they've kind of successfully navigated that road where you know I think Microsoft has failed that previously like I remember when the Xbox uh s came out they it came out a year before this the 1X and they're like okay well here's the 1s but if you really are into power or whatever then next year we're going to have the 1X and it's going to be blah blah blah I think that really kind of hurts sales of the 1s but anyway so I'm going to get into this cuz this is pretty good news what's up everybody crap gamer here with crap gamer reviews with Pro was an Open Secret at Gamescom 2024 which as you guys know Gamescom just took place so this is a really good piece of information to kind of go on the existence of the PlayStation 5 Pro was long discussed throughout 2024 thanks to various leaks and rumors but the latest state of play that aired in late May didn't feature any announcements for the new hardware was summer drawn to a close soon some fans wondered whether the more powerful PlayStation 5 iteration had been delayed however at the Gamescom 2024 event being held in Germany developers started talking in a recent live stream the Italian website multiplayer mentioned that it had heard from a developer that they had delayed their game due to the upcoming launch of the PS5 Pro so I can confirm that I heard something similar during one of my appointments at Gamescom 2024 without even being prodded by me at all developer that I won't name openly said they had received the specs of the PS5 Pro and they were confident that Unreal Engine 5 would run much better on the new hardware compared to the regular PS5 and considering the circumstances revealed by multiplayer I'm positive that this is not the same developer they talk to moreover the studio I heard it from is not at all a big one which makes it clear that the hardware specifications and details are already in the hands of a large number of game makers as such it's reasonable to assume an official announcement is near looking at the PS4 Pro the console that was announced on September 7th uh 2016 and sub subsequently launched on November 10th the same could happen again as suggested by uh plenty of other industry analysis people uh back in the day so a lot of people are saying okay so we're going to be on the lookout for the PlayStation 5 Pro and again like I said you don't want this thing announced too too soon just because of the way that it would end up kind of working out but I do think that it makes sense to sort of maybe wait and see what happens you know and I and I like that fact I like the fact that you know Sony is kind of letting people enjoy their PS5 and I still think the the standard PS5 or slim or whatever you want to call it is going to be the thing that uh sells the most uh more recently for sure but I also think we're kind of in this weird world where the PS5 Pro is something that is much needed right now and uh the reason right now is uh because guess what uh you know there's a lot of people that are craving new hardware and this is just something that you know a lot of people want to see you know and I can understand that you know like I've been uh wrong in the past where I was like he you know we just got these things they're only four years old but it's like hey you're not you're always going to be able to play the same stuff on the uh basic PS5 so what's it matter really you know like you're going to be able to play the games fine they're going to optimize them it's going to be good it's like listen I play play on the Xbox series s a lot you know like that is set up in my living room and I'll play like the fortnits or the Call of Duties or whatever the case may be um and the games play and look fine so you know I I have full kind of idea that you know the the PS5 and is going to be able to play games just fine and you know people are going to enjoy playing them on the regular PS5 and not everybody cares about the latest and greatest or what have you so you know I do think that we have that to kind of look forward to um as you know we look forward to the the future of gaming and things like that I just think in general no matter who it comes from right and this is my honest thoughts on it um you need new hardware right now we need that refresh because the industry is kind of um I don't want to say falling apart because I think that obviously that's not necessarily the case I just think that what we need is you know something to kind of get people excited again you know like we haven't really had that uh this generation uh we've gotten some good games for sure I know some people are probably like you know it's it's great you know we're living uh you know great and it's uh uh the this generation has been amazing for me you know I noticed the fall off you know and I've noticed the fall off from a lot of things um from game wise I mean I can point to certain ones and there's definitely different reasons as to why this has happened but I mean look at Rockstar for instance right the Xbox 360 PS3 era what did we get man we got you know Red Dead Redemption we got a couple of GTA you know it was good you know we got remasters of bully we got we got a lot of games you know and now it's like we haven't had a new you know Rockstar game since I think what 2017 with uh Red Dead Redemption 2 and you know it's just kind of getting old at that point you know and and then you look at stuff the quality of stuff that we're getting and it's not nearly as good as what we used to get unfortunately um and so when we look at this I kind of have to shake my head a bit you know it's like look at uh Rock Steady games right we we were getting Arkham Asylum and Arkham City on the 360 PS3 era and we even got Arkham Origins even though that was by a different developer and then we got you know a pretty good game in Arkham Knight and now look at the Batman games we got now man we get that Gotham Knights game which was not great and we get that God awful Suicide Squad game that was just awful awful awful I mean I can't say how awful that was but it is it's just like so awful and you know that's sort of the situation we find ourselves in you know the games aren't there look the 360 gave us two Dragon Age games or actually three uh the newer one came out on the 360 was cross gen because it was 2014 so we got three Dragon Age games we got a full Dragon Age uh DLC with the first Dragon Age game uh we got three Mass Effect games uh you know and and since that point we haven't really got much of anything so it is a little bit ridiculous to see you know where we've kind of come from um with all these these games and stuff like things have fallen off really hard and you have to ask yourself why you know there's like like even if you're not talking Xbox you know you can talk uh Playstation like we probably won't get a naughty dog a new Naughty Dog game this generation right like for the I mean we might get one that's cross or whatever but we probably won't get one that's like just a you know hey here's a new Naughty Dog game whether it be the last of us uh three or whether it be something new you know I I just don't feel like we'll get that um for whatever reasons but it is nice to see that the pro is uh kind of an Open Secret and that looks like it's going to be uh real so obviously a lot of people want to see um what the whole IND industry seems to know at this point uh and if you guys are looking for a recap on what the PS5 Pro would actually offer in terms of um any of this stuff you're looking at a 45% performance Improvement in rostered rendering thanks to a larger GPU and faster memory a hugely improved rate tracing architecture delivering two to three times speed up on average with peaks of 4X Uh custom machine learning architecture this supports 300 tops at 8 bit to power the PlayStation spectral super resolution which is pssr by the way it's their upscaling technique their own version of multiframe super resolution based on Playstation machine learning which is so funny because Microsoft is the one that really kind of takes pride in their whole you know hey we've got this and and you know we're we're such a good company and you know all this kind of stuff and then you look at it and you know Sony's going to have their version of machine learning and stuff out there before that even uh comes out so yeah I mean it's it's crazy to think that Sony seems to really be ahead of um you know what's kind of going on there and and you know that's a real unfortunate situation as far as I'm concerned I really hope that that kind of um you know that Microsoft can play some catchup there you know they need to desperately because I feel like they are really really falling behind in you know a lot of this uh kind of console race thing and I know a lot of people don't take that seriously but you to me you've got to have that competition you've got to have that competition there and the fact that you know Sony is just so utterly ahead of what Microsoft is doing right now um I think it's pretty clear that the competition isn't there and Microsoft isn't taking any pride in their work whatsoever so I'll link this in the description you guys can check it out let me know what you guys
