NFL Best Picks | Ravens vs Chiefs | Prize Picks

hey guys this is Miguel with fantasy sports H here excited to bring you the first video of the NFL season so today we're going to go over um some of the picks I have for you guys for the Ravens at the Chiefs game and um tomorrow I'll try to do one for the Friday night game which is the Packers at technically I suppose the Eagles right but they're playing in Brazil right so uh I'll bring you that one later and but today going to go focusing on the Ravens and the Chiefs and that's going to be an exciting game for sure okay so here we go all right so here in the outlier app um looking up Patrick Mahomes numbers right so the line here they have it at 265.0 that's what they have in on price picks so if I show you that real quick let's zoom in let's go passing yards right so 265.0 less or more right so so I'm inclined to give him the more I've been thinking thinking about it as I'm planning the video and you know I had them at under but um you know something else that we can do here is the 219 the only problem with that is that it brings the the uh the payout to time six right but it might be something that we might have to consider just because you we want to get our first win of the season right and we want to make sure that that we give our ourselves the best possible odds of doing that right at the end of the day we want to make sure we're in the green um so I may actually consider this just because if if we come back and I was doing this uh research right and if you go back and you look at a outlier you know and you can point to to having bad receivers last year right everybody was dropping uh the ball Kadarius Tony didn't know how to line up so we had a bunch of different uh things that were happening and uh I think momes uh excuse me if I'm putting him wrong but I think he said that last year felt like death by a thousand needles or something like that or a thousand paper cuts um um so it was painful for him and just the fact that they came back you know and they won the Super Bowl that's amazing right so I think that's a big uh boost of confidence for them right because they didn't have the best possible team last year and they still came up on top I think San Francisco had the best team on paper until they faced the Ravens and then they arguably had the best team on paper and would you see what happened to both of them right can Kansas City won 17 to10 against Baltimore and then 2522 against San Francisco so man those teams must feel terrible right now just knowing that but anyways onto U until here so last season he only this is on 20 let's see yeah so this is a whole season right so he only uh hit this line 45% of uh of um the games so that's look there's a bunch of red everywhere so that's telling you like why would we go with the over here Patrick momes has failed to exceed 268.50 passing yards in five of his last six games at home he averages 229 passing jards per game average so this is a tough one right so um I mean the only thing is now he's he's has uh you know better receivers or at least one uh Hollywood Brown doesn't look like it like he's going to play um I forget what his injury was but um if we go here let's injuries key injuries here we have uh Hollywood Brown he's doubtful and I wish he said what the actual injury was it might say it on here actually uh je Hollywood Brown he's out excuse me he's out with a low left shoulder uh this location oh so he was yeah so this is 7 minutes ago so he's officially out and now what is that going to do to um to the passing game right now you have the rookie Xavier worthy and then you have rice that's there so now imagine if rice was also was also out because of his uh transgressions you know they it would have been a tough one and I wouldn't be doubtful it wouldn't be doubtful if the line would have gone all the way down just because of what it is but it's actually gone up it opened at 260 and as of today it's been 268.50 2 268.50 and 265.com you know if if this is just uh a trap right everybody's like oh it's going up we got to get it we got to get it or you know cuz you know you see a movie now you're going to want to jump in before it gets too high right let's see you know what we we'll do the excuse me we're going to do the the little the green demon I know the payoff is a lot less than what we wanted to but you know what we're just we'll double our unit size so instead of uh instead of uh 10 I'll do 20 that that should compensate for uh for the smaller payout right because 20 will give you 120 which is you know six times the amount uh had we done just 10 times 10 it would have been 100 but so we're going to do two units um I think Lamar ja Jackson's going to go off I think he's he's has uh he's going into this game with something to prove like we're the better team we should have beat you guys um he's going to try to do more um I think he's going to pass the ball more um Z flowers is number one receiver I think he's going to be involved and then we're going to pair it up with um with today's Taco Tuesday which is um Paul skins to throw over five pitcher strikeouts um I think he's he's going to do it he's very consistent um if we look here real quick right he's 6968 the last uh four games he did have that four um strike outo game against Arizona but it seems like a safe number um let me see if there's any insights that I might be missing as to why not let's see nothing related to skins that I can see right off the bat right here Palm skin has failed to exceed 1.5 earned runs like if that's a bad thing right yeah so I I think I feel very comfortable with this pick so we're going to lock it in guys so I'm going to do two units on on Paul skins to have over five strikeouts Lamar Jackson to throw for 219 yards plus J flowers to pick up 56 receiving yards and Patrick Mahomes man to have at least 220 yards you know if uh if he hits 265 so what United what it is guys um I'm I'm not going to be upset about it but uh this is if he hits 264 then you know we lose this whole thing so I think this is a good one you know this is going to be the first game of the season we don't know historics yet we don't see we don't know how they're going to be playing right so it's it's always uh good to start something off like slowly and then we'll build up from there um so we'll take the safe bet for today
