to embark on their revenge tour after missing out on the playoffs last year in controversial fashion despite an unblemished 13 and0 season the selection committee tapped unbeaten Michigan and Washington and one LW schemes Texas and Alabama but it's a new season and as the seminal prep for a week zero match up versus Georgia Tech Saturday it's time to take a look at some of the Best Bets for the ACC this season for more welcoming in sports lines Bryant mcfaden and BAC it's a new year and a new team in Tallahassee DJ oui ugal set to take the tour from Jordan Travis at quarterback the at the coaching I like Florida State to go over and here's why look at the first four ball games they have an opportunity to get off to a great start starting this Saturday against Georgia Tech Georgia Tech is a very very much improved team but when you look at the talent that goes in favor to Florida State and then of course you get Boston College you get Memphis you get California all there in Tallahassee before traveling to SMU so I like the four game set up for Florida State to get off to a great start and then get into the think of things when it comes to their schedule when you look at SMU Clemson and then of course Miami so when you look at the talent level for Florida State yes they lost a lot of professional players to the NFL but if you understand and knowing what Mike Noll is doing there in Tallahassee he's building a factory of highlevel players that will become household names by the month of October and oh by the way if you look at the most recent coaching Trends in the ACC is safe to say meline coach noville is the best head coach currently in the ACC I'm not talking about overall coaching resume because of course that would be Dabo Sweeney but if you talk about the hearing now the Hear and Now based on what coach Noel has done recently in Tallahassee it's sa to say he's the best coach so when you talk about being one of the best coaches not just in college football but in the ACC along man that man was just straight up capping straight up capping Northville ain't even that good of a coach stop it he got a few he got a few pieces out of the y'all told me how great this defensive line that y'all got was y'all told me Patrick Pate was a God and he was going to be in the back fields all the time and he was demanding Jared verse type money might want to slow your roll a little bit you're not too good to get whooped by Georgia Tech I'm telling you yeah you haven't proven anything yet most of those players that you saw play last year when you went 13 and0 before the Meltdown those guys are gone those guys are gone right now you guys on to be determined there a big to be determined by your name it's either you go out there you prove the real wrong next thing you know bam okay we were wrong about Florida State they doing a thing or two or you go out there and people like see yep ah man they lost all them guys from last year all those Heavy Hitters um they didn't quite quite replace them in the porter like they normally do and boom you know back to reality maybe you win nine to 10 games and you know fall short of the promised land who knows maybe this season is a meltdown season where you go you probably win eight eight and lose four games something like that that's tough says um T2 pull on the depth chart the Orange Bowl the Orange Bowl One and the Georgia Tech one it's not the same players yeah we know I know I've been trying to tell them that for the for a minute now but you know they still they still high on the um the 13 and0 season they still high off the ACC Championship that didn't amount to nothing Florida state is one of them team man they they high off they high off them ACC championships but they they never really amount nothing that's tough now they did put out some numbers you know for Haynes King and DJ and DJ that favored Florida State very well these numbers favor Georgia um Florida State very well so as you can see yards per attempt DJs winning in that department at 8.4 um Han King at 7.7 then you got the completion um percentage or whatever 15 plus yards down the field DJ is you know winning in that department he's at a 43.6% while um King is only at 35.6 yards per attempt Under Pressure DJs went in in that department 6.5 um while King is at 4 .6 sack rate versus pressure 9.44 for DJ 12.5 for King see DJ should be the better quarterback in this game I just think Hy I just think he's going into this this season with more um I want to say um chemistry with the team or whatever you want to call it he's been there they got they they got a bond over there I'm pretty sure he knows the Playbook well he's I I I I just got a feeling that Mr King here is going to do he I'm not saying he going to do phenomenal I'm just saying he gonna do enough to where Georgia Tech could possibly win this game that's all I'm saying um third down success success rate um DJ's winning in that department too with a 41.3 to um King 38.8 so y'all should be going into this game Florida state with a better rated quarter back in some key in some key key um you know y' y'all should win the game according to these um metrics and these um you know numbers the DJ should be the better quarterback DJ should have a better game than Mr King here but the games got to get played and hey we all know from year to year things change some people progress some people you know they they fall down the the the rabbits hole and they probably don't never get back up but the think that y'all just gonna beat on Georgia Tech and that's gonna be it nah them boys gonna put up a fight they gonna put up a fight y'all better hey y'all better be careful y'all better be careful I'm telling you oh man so we going into this going into year three they should be way better than this that and the third but let's go back down memor Lane about the one of the best coaches in the ACC right now according to you know Brian M faten what you watched earlier and according to you know some of the the media guys out there they're saying that possibly right now M nor is one of the best coaches but let's go back to after year two cuz since crystal ball and napia is going into year three let's talk about the results of year two for my my um ACC um best coach of the year and all that Mr Norville Norville first year at Florida State three and six damn second year oh that three and six by the way he went down to Miami and got beat 52 to1 Dam so uh that second year second year at Florida State he finish the season at five and seven five and seven now oh not to mention an FCS loss to Jacksonville State University so if I'm not mistaken if I could do math correctly Mike Norville finished his his two season with 13 losses and an FCS loss am I not am I mistaken so eight eight wins for Norville eight wins for Northville in his first season first two seasons and 13 losses sound like a worse sound worser than um Billy nap and um Mario Chris Ball to me so I I just find it funny that the Simo fans would even have that conversation I would think that you guys would just stay in the future and stay out of the past let's not talk about coaches going in their third year when we know what y'all coaches were before they were going in their third year Mike Norville most of you guys wared Mike Norville fired
