Patriots Commanders Preview And Roster Cuts

[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] what's up Pat Nation wome to another edition of the K Pat talk Patriots podcast here on a Saturday morning about to preview the game with my boy um stats big game or i g say the big game it's a preseason game but it is a game nevertheless and we gonna um haven't been here in the past couple of days we can talk a littleit about the game and a couple people that might make the roster and might not make the roster man what's going on with you bro nothing much man we're winding down to the regular season big day for us for us Pats fans tomorrow um a lot of teams you know they're resting their starters you know this is it they got their roster you know that's not how it is with us with the team we we have right now so you know there's a lot of stuff that we have to look forward to that we have to look forward to tomorrow oh yeah we got about two more weeks man so well probably a little less than two weeks now so U it ain't too much time we got left you got the Chiefs and the Ravens kicking off what a week like a about two weeks two3 from now so it's be crazy Rosy cut down next week U let's start with the game tomorrow U Drake May probably gonna play a little bit brette probably gonna start I don't know how long he's gonna play I think Mayo said that zappy and Milton gonna play too so if all four quarterbacks going to play you probably think maybe a quarter quarter for each maybe or probably probably less than that so um what what are you looking forward to tomorrow during the game yeah so I I think the coaches have seen what they had what they wanted to see from Drake May especially against Philly so I definitely don't think he's gonna play as much uh tomorrow as as he did against the Eagles um that was kind of you know his um I think he'll probably get about a quarter tomorrow Brett will probably get the first May will probably get the second he might maybe play a drive into the third then they'll probably hand the keys to Milton and then zappy will probably finish the game off in the fourth quarter um but I think May will get some reps with the starters too tomorrow and that's what it sounds like at least which he needs to um another thing we'll get into in a couple minutes is TA the taquon thoron news which is AB crazy to me but that anyway that's another topic for another time but right now just talking about the quarterbacks you know it's like I said they saw what they had to see from Drake but you know they probably want to see a little more so I'm guessing he'll probably get the second quarter maybe a drive or two into the third um but my biggest thing is we if brassette is our starter which I'm still you know banking on that happening he needs to be better tomorrow man he has not been good at all um this preseason you know I I'm I don't really read much into the preseason but I do like to see some you know nice plays made and I haven't really seen anything from jaob Brett to excite me at all or show any hope for this season he hasn't done one thing in the preseason you know he's had some moments in Camp but you know in the games being played jako Brett has not looked good at all especially against the Eagles so you know I'd like to see a bounceback game from him tomorrow maybe you know couple couple nice completed passes you know work on you know the overthrows and the under throws try to get consistent with that and uh we'll see what happens there but I'm looking for a better day out of jacobe brette that's a good that's a good point I'm glad you brought it up I actually want to touch on that do you think it's anything that uh may could do the moreall that brassette can't do the moreall that it caused may to start week one I think um they've already made up their mind based on how they handled the snaps and practice the last few games that May's probably gonna sit the first probably month of the season I think now me personally you been to that you been to their games and you know how the fact the crowd can be I think I'm see I believe Miami is probably the second home game I think isn't Miami uh yeah so it's at ciny at home against the Seahawks and it's at road defense you got Cincinnati they got a good defensive coordinate good defensive um a good defensive team Seattle you know what they defense about with they got a defensive coach from Baltimore the Jets and your own division you see them Twi that's a tough defense and Miami got some I mean they didn't they defense want good last year but they got some names over there so San Francisco yeah San Francisco so um I think you probably looking at at best that's maybe one and three and possibly could be 0 and three 0 and four that at that point who knows who I mean we just I think the only win you might get with Bretta quarterback and probably even with Drake too but it's a little more upside it's a lot more upside with Drake because it's the unknown you probably looking at maybe one win and the one game you might be you you not beating the Jets on Prime time THS night you're not gonna beat them Ro that play gonna be rocking Seattle probably Seattle probably the only one that you probably got a chance and I think they still ain't gonna be favored in that game I think Seattle still to be favorite because youo SM I mean I just I just then we they they they did they made the playoffs last year but PES are rebuilding team see I don't think they rebuild I think they got enough pieces but they they got C quarterback SE is a much better team than you are much better known so that's probably the only team and only reason why I'm giving them that game because they home that's the only reason so um You probably looking at maybe one win I don't see how you you're not beating s Frank you're not g probably you're not gonna beat S I know week one s is kind of rusty or like you I don't know how I don't know how you can get over the hump there so I think I probably say like I think by that second home game the fans are gonna be clamoring for it and my thing is it's gonna come into question do you stick with the plan or do you cave into the fans what you think is gonna happen so to your original question um with uh with brassette um I I really you know I will say one thing about drg may his original plan was to probably sit until you know week you know 12 plus he's definitely narrowed that down for sure because initially was a starter for the whole year and then you know they're starting to Trend towards may I think they know may gives you more upside for sure and and may gives you you know you know he offers you more in every aspect of the game I just think for his development purposes and especially with the schedule um jco betet will start at least at least weeks one to four the only way Drake Mak starts is if prette goes out there throws up another throws another inter throws you know maybe throws an interception or two and then Drake May goes off I really could see a world where Mayo's like guys I understand we want to stick to the plan but if we're trying to win football games this guy's clearly the better quarterback past couple weeks has shown that um but I I I still think even then there's a chance per set starts just and it's not because he's better it's just for May's developmental purposes um I will say one thing I do think if Drake May does play um we one to four you can beat a team like Cincinnati with the defense that isn't as strong just because of the upside I'm not saying you will and you know I'm not saying you're gonna beat the Niners or jets but if he plays up to what we think he can be you will you will be competitive in those games brassette probably gonna lose by you know 10 to 14 not gonna get blown out not gonna get you know but you're you're also not going to keep it close it's kind of it'll kind of just be the same tough spot Prime Time week three Aaron Rogers home opener that's a tough spot but I I don't want to throw the kid in into the situation and again if the coaches want to you know throw him out there they they know more than us if they think he's you know wow he is we we see it he's been the P you know the first two weeks of Camp Bret was better but we expected that you know we expected the veteran guy to be you know better Drake May's 21 years old but you know the past couple weeks Drake May has been dominating in Camp his completion percentage has been better um he's taken reps with the one so he's clearly moving up the depth chart I just don't see really see a world where Drake May let's just say let's put it let's put it in perspective let's just say uh we're losing games but it's not because of jobra said maybe it's like we coming up a play short the defense get a lot of points but then in saying that let's just say we losing games but brette is throwing two or three picks a game I think may have be in probably by that second I think May being in quick I think yep yep I don't think they would go to zappy um after that though just to keep may I I don't think they'll do that just to keep May on the bench I mean because my thing is do you want to win games or you trying to develop players yep so that's where we're kind of it's kind of like at a standoff like I don't I don't see the I don't get the plan but obviously they know the plan yep you do have to remember the they are a professional team this for everybody um like we we say they're in a rebuild but every team's goal at the end of the year is to win the Super roll so they're trying to win games so it's a you gotta they gotta find a mix of both and you want to be watch you want to have a watchable product out there too man come on last year their the offense was not watchable at all and I'm not even just saying that you could you could look up any NFL report Daniel J they our offense was not watchable last year but they got to find a good in between of developing players and also winning games because and that's hard to do because you have a very very young team um you know especially on the wide receiver core in the offensive line which I would love to get to in a couple minutes yeah that's Sports Academy said does zappy play at all in the final preseason game does Jobe play a full quarter and a half I think uh jaob probably plays a quarter I think zappy gonna play a little bit I think they're trying to sh they probably gonna cut him and bring him back on the practice squad they did that last year or maybe if he I hope zappy lights it up and somebody throws like Detroit or the giant somebody needs a backup quarter back those was a those was a u those was a like a fifth round pick for us man I I'm rooting for zappy tomorrow I mean yeah I don't know if his trade value can get up to a fifth rounder but I would love him hey this would be the perfect game he going against third and fourth streamers last preseason last time to show out I think we can get him back on the practice squad though yeah I don't I remember we caught him last year and he he went through waivers no one no one so I think the only way you're gonna you know move on from him is if they trade him I don't think anyone's gonna pick him up Diane good morning uh come Sunday do you think it would come down to experience versus youth as far as the quarterbacks go I think probably experience just to start out the season they're gonna go with brassette every I mean unless and another thing what if brassette comes out tomorrow he plays worse than what he played against Philly I still don't think they're gonna start maywe I just think they are Mayo said it's a quarterback competition but he's been going back and forth on that all off season so you know what you don't know what to believe he yeah go ahead go ahead no he said about Monday night or Tuesday morning he he would to know who the quarterback is but I think they already know yeah again it's not even a debate who's the better player it's obviously Drake May he's better at everything than Jakob Brett the only thing Jakob Brett is better at is you know system that's it there's nothing else he's better at but they we gotta be careful with this kid because if we rush him into things and Ken you brought up a great point last podcast you can't put him in and pull him out it's not possible if you put Drake May in he's in for the whole year you cannot pull him out if you put him in for brassette you can't you know you can't pull him back out week eight if he doesn't look good the confidence goes down the tubes after that especially because he's super young so you got to be really careful with what you do um I think that's why they're what they're doing with jako brette and like we said brassette is not a bad quarterback when it comes down to it he he can win you games he's just only gonna take you so far yeah so obviously the ceiling is much higher with Drake but the floor is much lower with Drake also so Bret's kind of you know he's kind of in the middle of that um but I I do Mayo kind of kind of does know um what the uh you know whole situation is going to be but I mean this weekend does matter like we said BR goes out there and throws for like 20 yards and like a pick and like he doesn't look good he has a couple Miss passes and may you know takes advantage of that throws for like 80 yards in a touchdown it it it will be a conversation for them to have because again they are trying to win football games so Sports Academy says we draft the Drake at three and if he wins the job then he should start end of story if he's better than he if he's than job I guess he's the starter yeah that's how it should be I mean look at jayen Danel he was better than Marcus marot they took him at two Caleb we already knew he's going to be there Bo Knicks just got named started in Denver Jud McCarthy probably he probably won't gonna start the season but I mean come on it's too good to be true about Sam Darnell he would have been in at some point who else starting that's the only the only thing with with Jaden Daniels and guys in Bow next is they're also three four years older yeah they have Kay Kaya Will's a little older too well he's not real but he's like he's not but he's he's I think he's about to turn 23 he transferred yeah yeah he like those guys have to be good right away because they're like Jaden Daniels is 24 B knck is almost 25 so they have to be good right away because you know they're almost the age of quarterbacks of what quarterbacks are in their Prime like for example Lamar Jackson he's only like 27 years old he's been in the league for like what six seven years now so and he was a freaking a he was good right away but he did he even he sat behind Joe Flo for a little bit so it it's it's got to be interesting but I I I as much as I want Drake made a start and if he does start I'm gonna be I'm gonna be super happy with it um I do think peret will get to non week one p Focus say yeah zappy will play believe that Jim mckenley Jim mck McKinley hey guys what's story of with the three free agents that practice with the patch last week good point I'm glad you brought uh I think one was Keon Jones or or something like that yeah and then we got the receiver from um Landers Matt Landers yeah we got another pass rusher name McCarron or something like M I know Keon Jones and I know Landers I I forget the other guys's name but we did get two pass rushers I want to see what they do tomorrow because uh I think usay and exin they've been hurt they haven't really been I think W's been out too so we still looking somebody to replace to help in that rotation to replace judon so that's what I'm I was about to get to soon as we get through um get off the uh the preview the commanders and the p Patriots I want to see some Stand Out performance for tomorrow with the rosters so we definitely about to get into that for sure say you trying to win games in my opinion yeah I agree yep you do want to win games uh J said what's up J what's going on with you Joseph trade him to the Vikings we will take a six or seven for um zappy yeah who said backup quarterback they got a it's McCarthy and dar but if McCarthy's out the whole year and you know darnold goes down they got Nick Mullen still and I don't I don't know if they want to roll with him for I take zy of a mull yeah me too because especially with with Jefferson and Addison and Hawkinson and Aaron Jones you know zappy would be fine over there he'd be able to run a fine offense they I'm not saying they'd score 30 points a game he got some weapons though yeah they' put up a respectable 17 to 20 a week and their defensive I like their defense doesn't have any big names but I do like Brian Flores over there so I think they could be compatable I don't I actually think that's a solid idea they just sign Stefan Gilmore too yep J said if brette starts like the first seven games who you guys see leading the team and catches good question uh I go first I think uh Le team got pop look at the depth chart you got pop poke thoron which we really about I know you can't wait to get into the thoron on starting X I don't think it'll be thoron um who G this I say huny Henry between huny Henry and pop I'mma lean towards pop though I lean towards pop Doug leading the team at catch I think po just gonna get open you just gotta give him the ball so whether it's Drake or jacoba I think Po's gonna lead the team at catches this year unless he gets hurt I'm gonna I'm gonna go pop as well he's gonna be obviously Pop's gonna be lined up in the slot so he's gonna get peppered with targets and if May's in May you know May's may you know he's gonna Ease Into You know the league so his first read is gonna be to the slot and Pop's gonna be open majority of the time I think I think Hunter Henry's a good a good idea too I was going to say someone like like like KJ Osborne or Jaylen pul but I just I'm not sure I I do like Jaylen pulk sounds like KJ Osborne the past couple days has been taking reps you know behind um rotating yeah rotating with like Jaylen pul at the Z so you know I I'm not really super confident in in him I think the most confident guy that's gonna get the most targets is is De Mario Douglas for sure um just because he's gonna be in the slot he'll be there for betet the offense that van Pelt was running with brette was quick reads right away you know like nothing you know not a lot of time wasted in the pocket that throw to rager quick read right you know quick slant in the middle hit him like that that's how it's going to be so I gotta go with pop di said what is Stevenson ceiling um I think a little more than what he had a couple year uh year before last I believe was it 2021 maybe yeah I think he like he had like like 10 thou sorry 1,000 yeah like he had like a little over a thousand he got 10,000 we win the Super Bowl man if he R like that but um I think he could be a thousand yard back I think this new scheme I think he slimmed up I think this new scheme going to fit him a little better um he definitely looks a little quicker they just got a block and then we gotta get into the offensive line combination speaking of blocking um Leen Robinson is Right Guard C so left guard Andrews at Center I think uh who's the right tackle oh right tackles a win you and left tackle the chips a cord for do you think that I think that's probably a pretty good combination I would like to see um kayen Wallace at left tackle but I think they want to go with more experience not that to have experience at left he has experience here right tack I think yeah so how you think about new the line on combo I'm so happy with it you know that that this is what I've been wanting the whole time again I don't want to pray on guys to get hurt because that's just that's absolutely that's rude um but venar and low getting hurt formed this line and drawn Mayo already likes it he hasn't been making comments on the line like this all off season I always I wanted Laden Robinson to right the right side of the line is going to be is going to be unstoppable they are going to be impossible to get around Michael Wu and Robinson and I do like City South in Chuck shakor for he had a great game against Eagles he got one of the highest PFF grades for tackles in the NFL um and you know if by week four he's struggling you got you throw Kaden Wallace in there and I'm not mad about that at all we know the ceiling Kaden Wallace does have but right now that would that would be my ideal offensive line I super happy that they made the change I really hope when vieran low comes back they don't take out Chuck aor for for him because I just don't think that's the solution at all even with what Elliot wolf said about about him but then again we talked about that you kind of have to say that about him but you know I I'm super happy that they made this change with the offensive line I love it I I think this is I don't I don't even think this is a bottom five unit anymore I know it's crazy to say that but just with these simple moves you know V the left side of the line was the biggest issue and you know just you know switching L putting lad Robinson at Right Guard putting Micha o wenu a tackle Micha o wenu still a very very good tackle he was very good there last year um I think it's going to be a World's difference for our quarterbacks and we'll see that tomorrow with perets uh Joseph yeah I like it I mean you can run I think definitely running running good luck trying to run up on them guys man they gonna put you put pancake somebody put put them on their back but I think I think it's gonna really open up a lot with the Run game let's see how they do in pass protection a wi you I like him last year at right tackle but I did see some games where he was kind of shaky but I think he's much he's a great guard pretty good guard good tackle but it's bar than what we had so I mean you in this time of the year you're not gonna find a starting left tackle out there you can add dep and all that but you're not gonna find somebody that's can is you're not g we have to wait till next year get the top top five pick to get a good tackle so that's that's one reason the root for a loss this year to get that get a tackle but we see how things go Joseph said can each of you guys make a pick for lead MVP I'm GNA go with probably momes or CJ stra I'm G lean towards I'm G lean towards Mahomes yeah I think Mahomes probably because I like what they did in the draft Xavier worthy got Hollywood Brown I know he's hurt then they got she rice Travis Kel still there pcho at running back I go I'm g go with K I'm GNA go with Mahomes but I kind of I want to I want to say Str though but I'm gonna go Mahomes my two picks are Mahomes and Jordan love um I'm gonna go Mahomes too just because Mahomes did have a technically he did have a down year last year I think he was like 15th in the league and you know um touchdowns thrown or something like that he did have a down year although he did win the Super Bowl I think Mahomes is due for another 40 plus touchdown year um especially with the moves that they made um but I love Jordan love too I you know my opinion on Green Bay um I really do like Jordan love this year I think he's probably going to throw for you know you know 35 Plus touchdowns this year um my my biggest thing with him he's just got to be more careful with the football you know you he does he does make some throws sometimes for example the but I live with it though because I know that the good is going out way the bad oh 100 per but he the only Pro like like I said he does make some throws sometimes where you're like but that was also he was a rookie so you were expecting that but he he looked great last year but those yeah those are my two picks for sure sports academy I like seeing U fors beat out the veteran pers this week oh yeah pers did get released after this week after pers love Jeremiah Farms yeah he's been B I like him and defens tackle a position where you're not GNA see a lot of stats but you don't really see you gotta actually watch the game to see what they do I think defensive tackle has been our best position so far in the preseason and that's crazy to say bearing that we lost chrisan barmore um Daniel qu's had a nice preseason um Jeremiah Farms like we said um Arman Watts probably getting a cut not sure what he hasn't really done much um but I'm super even Tristan Hills look decent so I really like the look of the uh defensive line then when barmore comes back and obviously you got Devon godsha that's that's a good line right there then keep an eye on the waiver R we probably pick up a pass fres or something with these cutdowns I know we probably pick up a tackle but um we shall see Jo say sorry and who's winning Rookie of the Year Caleb or someone else oh I want to go Malle Neighbors I like what I say but I don't know if I can trust Daniel Jones getting him the dag on ball man uh Marvin Harrison and Arizona that's the only wide receiver I know they got right now they just Z Jones just got um suspended or whatnot they got like Michael Wilson and like Greg dor but it's like a bunch of uh I want to go Rick of the Year Caleb Williams he got the team to do it I mean he got a good roster but he's kind of he's GNA throw a lot of interception this year I I can see how he throws the ball he go he go he's gonna be some it's gonna be some good and bad with him yep Rookie of the Year um I'm gonna go Marvin Harrison I just think I just think he's gonna get peppered with Targets in Arizona so I'm gonna go Marvin har I'm gonna go Marvin yeah I'm gonna go Marvin I just think he's the safest pick he's the number one guy by far there KY Murray not a bad quarterback no yeah Kyler Murray Kyler Murray will get him the ball um so I'm gonna go with Harrison sorry I'm joining joining a little late did you guys touch on Vel and Mayo not seeing eye to eye on the starting quarterback situation I caught that too I don't know if you have but well I kind of um I'm with Joseph man I think I read a I don't know may did so many um meetings this year interview this year where he's he's flip-flop I don't know what to believe nowadays but um yeah it seem like they're not seeing out on that like I I think Mayo kind of wants to go with the best guy like with the the best physical guy like Mayo I mean like May and I think V pet wants to go who's familiar with the with the system I don't know if you caught on to that the other day oh yeah I did I did loves jaob ver yeah Vel loves he coached him a couple years in Cleveland it's like if you look from a physical perspective of course may may is the better option but in in terms of knowing the system is peret and I think and what what they said is V P's gonna be basically the head coach of the offense so I don't can do you think Mayo can over R Vel I mean I'm sure he can is the head coach but I don't know man that that's that's it seemed like um vel's in favor of um of of brette and Mayo is in favor going with the best guy for the job what you think about we had tou on yeah so you can kind of look at like I'm not I'm not like disagreeing with any of their opinions it's not like I'm leaning towards mayo or I'm leaning towards vanel you can kind of look at it from both sides Mayo brings up a good point you want to win Games you start the best player but vanel brings up a good point you know you want to develop the QB right you play you play the bridge starting quarterback for the first couple weeks so I'm kind of 50-50 on that I don't really have an opinion on either um I think they'll come to terms on something eventually I think I think Jaco brette will start because I do know D Mayo does like KOB betet um but there's no way Drake May doesn't play past you know week six he will he will be in a lot earlier than we expect him to he is just he is um he has just looked way better than jaob betet and I know like like I said preseason games don't matter too much but they do matter if you're playing either really bad or really good if you're kind of in between it's like whatever brassette has not been good at all he's overthrowing guys he's under thrwing guys you know he threw a bad interception when he had tawan and Douglas wide open um just little things like that that's what I know I know Mayo sees and I know van pel does too he's a smart guy he knows he knows uh football um I think van pel just wants to develop him correctly and he knows he knows how to develop an offense um or and how to use an offense correctly because he even brought Joe Flaco to the playoffs last year with with Cleveland so I do like I I like what I hear from both sides um but I think at the end of the day brassett will probably get the nod for week one I agree um so roster cut Downs on Tuesday at for who might be the surprise Cuts who might be the surprise that that L the roster did th do enough let's go ahead and touch on that the wide receiv receiver depth chart you got uh thoron from what I what we been he Thorton uh pop poke I like I really like that because you got th with speed pop is gonna be your intermediate guy you know your little jit and poke is gonna be your U your big play kind of like possess and catch tough like third down guy I think so I think it's a good combo now in terms of volume of Target dep and Stu I don't know we haven't seen much from Thorton I know in practice I know he's been making some plays in practice but in the game kind you don't really see it either um pet is under throwing him or over throwing him or something like that I don't know but um we hey he's gonna have we G we gon have to see man Javon Baker I wanted I wanted Baker to be a starting X but um and then jayen R I don't trust him he's hot and cold um and you kind of I don't know but I think this new scheme fits him I think it's gonna bring out the best I don't know if he's goingon to be able to physically stay on the field but I think I do think we'll be to hear a lot more from him this year well I think hearing that news about taekwon thoron you know kind of takes away a roster spot fromy a guy like Jaylen ragger so because I think in our opinion it was kind of between them two and after after taquon you got pulk Roser lock Baker I know he's been struggling but he's a roster lock pop roster lock KJ Osborne obviously making the team tawon thoron making the team probably kaan buy making the team maybe they keep rer for special teams but I I I I'm not sure at this point what type with the tawon Thorton news um they might I've been seeing a lot of they've been using pop there a lot they like Marcus Jones uh receiving um receiving kicks so it'll be interesting um like I said I'm not really super high on tawon thoron I gotta see it to believe it in the regular season yeah um I can't just you know judge everything off just what he's doing in practice because um he's been doing that the past two years so so I need to see him you know show his full potential in game and then I and then I'll be excited because he does have the tools he's fast he's quick he's he's long um he just he needs to improve on the little things like his his route running has been better from what I've heard yeah his hands need to be more consistent because his hands are super inconsistent too but all in all if you can run jet sweeps with him you can run you know some nice plays with tawon I am excited and I do agree van pel scheme does fit him so we'll see man we'll see so your your wide receiver de chart would be thoron pop poke Osborne Baker booty maybe they care seven and reager yeah and then when and when uh Bourne comes back yeah I forgot he's going on pup he ain't even PRS yet no yeah B reger's getting cut when Bourne comes back or or whoever at that point yeah I agree with that P of focus offens R of the Year either neighbors Brown Tois or Caleb no morvin Harrison wow okay you guys have a great podcast running love it gotta keep he'll start with brassette I think it'll be the line that we've heard about but WS will play with Drake May uh for sure say sports academy Marvin Harris is a good pit Rook of the year he's a straight fourth or fifth option if that they got a bit they got a good team with saquan at the backfield Gard um Smith Brown so I think that's a good spot for him what do you think about that trade um Step I did not like the trade for Philly at I mean yeah for Philly at all I I don't think he's worth a third round pick uh especially because he's he's not really gonna get a lot of volume because even zakus last year was the number three he he he caught he caught a he only had 160 receiving yards and giving up a a second day pick for you know Jan Dawson who apparently is not not had a good camp again could be a situation thing but if you were train if you were trained for him to be your number two you get and you gave up a third and you saw something in him I'd agree with it but as your third option giving up a third round pick uh you know and giving up a a seventh I believe I know they did get a fifth back but I don't I don't love to trade for the Eagles I actually don't mind it for the commanders although they they're receiving core is super slim after Terry mclen you know they got dami brown like Luke mcaffrey who knows with him uh Zack ER to tight end Austin Eckler they got they got some old guys over there um but they also have some guys I like Brian I like Terry but after Terry that receiving core is is is weak to say the least but we'll see how Luke mcaffrey looks Jim M would he he was accurate they have the biggest arm he just got the ball I think B Nick is going to do some good things in De now I wouldn't pick him to be Rookie of year but I think they got an underrated skill set too I think Bon gonna be pretty good in Denver I like the fit um I I think B knck is a guy that could be like M I do like what I've seen from Bo knck but he's older he's the most NFL ready we've kind of expected to see this from him um you know he's gonna he'll he'll be I think he's gonna be a fine quarterback I don't think he'll ever be like a top five top seven guy uh I just don't think he has a skill set for that especially in modern day football but you know I think he could probably hover around the top 15 you know a couple years he's he's looked solid um you know this is what we expect from Bon next you know quick reads quick throws not a not a lot of you know he does actually move pretty well in the pocket and he has a better arm than people say he does but I I don't know I I still gotta watch him in the regular season with Denver because I don't like Denver's roster around him at all um I think we could arguably have a better roster than the Broncos right now uh but we'll see what B next I he's he has looked solid um and I do like what I've seen from them can you give me a pig for your biggest surprise team this year uh we just talked about him I think Washington I think washingt surpris some people I think I was gonna say Atlanta but they wouldn't be a surprise because they got um Kurt cousin they made a lot of moves so they're in a weak division they they supposed to be a little better um I think Washington I think I like I see for Jayden Daniels I would have loved him with New England but I love Drake May I'm I'm I was a bigger Dr May fan than Jayden Daniels um yeah I I think Washington I like I like what they got defensive Cod they got some def they got some it's a mix of Youth and and they had a lot of draft Pi mix of Youth and some veterans there um I think Washington is going to be the surprise team this year I think they can make a run in make a run to get to the playoffs like one the final spots in the NFC they gonna be a tough out no more of the years for the Cowboys and Eagles when Wasing and the Giants or those just give me two wins uh I think the Giants could be a little better because I think I like what they got on defense and then they got Malik NE I think Wason really gonna be a thorn this year I think they can be F I think was be like a eight or nine win team and get one the last final spot spot in the playoffs NFC yeah mine's uh I we Ken you know we've talked about this mine's the Indianapolis Colts I I I do I just love what they got going on both sides of the ball over there I'm not saying they're gonna you know make a Deep Run the playoffs or anything because I think Richardson needs another year or two especially because he got hurt last year but I like what they got going I love the receiving core I love I love Pitman I like I like Mitchell I like downs and then you know I love Anthony richen and Jonathan Taylor obviously and then the defense they got some nice pieces there they got zier Franklin they got torest Buckner they got a good off line so I do like what I I do like the coach a lot they're probably my sleeper te yeah Jamar said my bad I'm a little late but yeah Johan Dawson was a reach for Washington is good they traded him they got a third round pick back for him that's crazy yeah he's been okay but I think Washington won that trade I think they got a third round pick I mean but I think they gonna use him right in Philly so I think it's a win- win but for them to get a third back for him underperforming player that's pretty good never been more excited about into free agency next year and he's H to coming back you know why not why not throw him another two-year deal but you know we'll see last question for me is Aaron Rogers GNA have a great year as much as it pays me to say oh boy yeah it pays me to read the question U I think I think it might happen I think they have a good year I mean anything more than what they got from quarterback last year be good so definitely think he they'll be better this year I I mean good Zack Wilson and whatever else they had was bad last year they got him out of there they trade him to Denver I definitely think it'd be better than um what they did last year yeah he got stay healthy though he gotta stay healthy yeah because if everyone's healthy on the Jets roster they're right there with San Francisco they're good at everying position but again Tyron Smith injury concerns Aaron Rogers injury concerns Mike Williams injury concerns so it's not you can't Bank on them right away to be like like you know a top team in the NFL but because of those and they're also an older team their window is already like about to close after Aaron Rogers you know is gone but right now if there's no injuries Aaron Rogers is probably gonna have a good year they just have too much talent on that team arur bla was spending money this all season yeah he was I know them Atlanta fans happy uh do you ever see Bill CH working in thefield again yes I do I think he's he's gonna be in the NFC East next year Giants or Eagles or Cowboys those those where bichip going to be next year if I had to be I had to do it say it right now it depends let's see what the Cowboys do with d Prescott because I don't B is not going to go get a rookie the coach a rookie corbette he's not going to the coach Tre Lance he likes that Prescott he always talks about it when we played against him I think he' be probably Cowboys if I I say Cowboys I agree with the nfc's take he's he's 100% going there because I I thought Atlanta originally but I can see him in New York though with in I can see him I can see him in New York yeah I I don't want I don't want him to go to the Jets I'll say that because I no he won't go there if the Jets have a bad year Robert Salah he's getting fired so you know they're gonna have to be looking for a head coach next year too and I don't think Salah is a great coach anyways but that's gonna final thoughts on the game tomorrow what are you looking for some surprise cut I mean somebody that might get cut next week what are you looking for in the game somebody that you looking for to have a big game tomorrow man before we get off I'm looking for a big game from the offensive line tomorrow I want them to I want this line to be our starting line I do not want vieran low to even sniff the starting lineup anymore I really want this starting line to look good tomorrow prove that they're the you know best five available and then I want to see some guys on the edge you know show what they got you know I want maybe a sack from Anthony Jennings or Josh uch I mean I don't know if uch is actually going to play tomorrow like you said he's been hurt but maybe a sack maybe a sack from Anthony Jennings tomorrow you know oane I know he's banged up too I I feel I I think he I think he'll be good for tomorrow we'll see there if he does play I would like to see another big game out of him we need guys to start stepping up over there man because you know we are kind of weak maybe even some of the free agents we signed um you know because we are we are pretty uh weak there too um on paper but you know the old I'm not even gonna say the receivers I've liked what I've seen I do want to I mean if taekwon does play tomorrow he's got to show what he's got because if if they don't just be on
