Luigi's they are sponsoring today's episode and we have our Luigi's Pizza player of the week for week one this will as no surprise to anyone the fact that it is Jaden Reed I went back and watched all the offensive tape already I'm not going to go through grades today I'll do a separate episode just for grades probably early next week probably on Tuesday would be my guest but Jaden Reed four catches 138 yards and a touchdown one carry 33 yards in a touchdown and don't forget on the free play or what was considered or thought to be a free play at the time Jordan love hits Jaden Reed for a touchdown on that play now one it was not a free play it ended up being a neutral play because there was a player an extra player on the field for both teams so it it canceled out number two we don't know how the rest of the game would have went had they scored a touchdown there but if you were just to put that extra play in there that was another catch for 38 yards and a touchdown he would have theoretically had in that scenario six Touches for 209 yards and three touchdowns and to be clear when I go through and grade this that is not Jaden Reed's fault on that play that there's a that Luke Musgrave is still on the field that he didn't get off the field and that the the the play came with one too many players on the field for Green Bay that was not Jane Jaden Reed's fault that was still a unbelievable play by Jaden Reed go back and watch that obviously got up the seam got open made the catch and then made somebody Miss again did the whole run after the catch thing like was very prevalent throughout the game for him got in the end zone and and had a touchdown on that play just a massive massive performance from Jaden Reed probably the best game of his career I would argue and like I said yes you you take the 38- yard touchdown off the board but you don't take that away from him when you're going and evaluating his play in this game overall he was phenomenal the rush for a touchdown by the way um was he showed off his burst and his his tackle breaking ability on the other touchdown that little cut back as Chanty Gardner Johnson like just flew out of the screen basically and he continued on for the touchdown I thought the big one though was that reverse where I think it was Zack Bon but I I could be misremembering I think it was Zack Bond who chased him down and literally like had full grab of him and the maybe the most impressive play of the game is Just Jaden Reed we're not talking of a 63 you know big physical player here we're talking about a smaller gadgety slot wide receiver and he just shakes off that tackle like it's nothing and continues right down the field with Pace like that is a beautiful blend of tackle breaking run after the catch uh or in this case run after the the handoff um just all the way around beautiful game beautiful play from Jaden Reed and he was really the the spark that this offense was looking for throughout the course of the game almost wish he would have been able to get a little bit more involved he did have one blemish on his record he did have that one play uh right before the Miss field goal from Braden narvon that it went off of his hands that would have made the field goal probably six seven yards closer which you got to think it probably is another three points on the board in that scenario but regardless Jaden Reed phenomenal game and he is our Luigi's Pizza player of the week make sure to check out Luigi's frozen pizza wherever you get your frozen pizzas uh obviously if you are in Wisconsin there are a ton of opportunities to get hooked up I know they have them at Woodman's uh you can usually find them at Festival Foods as well so make sure that you can uh go out get yourself a Luigi's frozen pizza and you will not be disappointed all right let's go to our main topic for today and that of course is Jordan love and we're going to talk about some other things as well but today's topic is primarily going to be Jordan the first thing is we know now that it is a sprained MCL still going to have some additional testing done to try to you know figure out the severity of it but sprained MCL is the diagnosis and per Rob demovsky from a packer Source the Packers hope that this is a 3 to four we injury and from most of the reporting that's out there it does seem to be that this 3 to four we stretch is kind of what is expected but it's a little bit noteworthy that the Packers are hoping it it's a 3 to four week injury not hoping that maybe he can be back in a week or two not you know like this they're hoping he'll be back in 3 to 4 weeks and that would also seemingly leave the window open that it might not be 3 to four weeks so what does that mean for Jordan what does that mean for the Packers how are they going to attack this let's go through all of it as far as Jordan goes you know of course the biggest thing is going to be his health both now and in the long term they're not going to put him out there if there's any chance of you know long-term injury or anything like that which it doesn't seem like that's going to be the case but that will certainly play a huge part especially after giving him a massive contract he I'm sure he's going to want to be out there sooner rather than later and playing with his teammates and getting back and hopefully you know making a push with this team but again Green Bay is going to be extremely cautious your upcoming games you have the Colts this week at home home opener at Tennessee Titans Vikings at home at the Rams Cardinals at home Texans at home Jaguars on the road lions at home by we at Chicago and if you look at that that's what one two 3 4 5 6 Seven 8 n that's 10 weeks so I I would say if you're kind of looking at it here from like a best case they're hoping that it's a three to four week injury all let's say it's three weeks let's say he misses Colts Titans and Vikings that would bring him back for the Rams game on the road and I could see you're on Turf you're not at home do they maybe wait until you get two back-to-back home games against Cardinals and Texans I could see that being the case so maybe Cardinals at home is the next one he plays at I would think Rams is potentially in play and maybe best case being Vikings at home yeah I don't want to put any sort of crazy um you know exact timeline on this I'm not going to pretend that I have knowledge of his exact injury I'm not going to pretend that I have knowledge of what a you know sprained MCL of his severity is going to be this exact date it cuz it's not like that one I don't know two it's it's usually very rarely the case it's it's going to be slightly different for every single MCL injury so I'm not saying that he couldn't be back sooner I'm not saying he couldn't be back later but from the reporting we have so far sounds like they're hoping again three to four-week injury and when he comes back will be a very large Factor as to where Green Bay's at in the standings and whether or not they can have a real chance to still make a run at this thing so again if we look at those four weeks let's look at the three to four week injury potentially that's what they're hoping for Colts at home Titans on the road Vikings at home at the Rams it's not the toughest stretch of games in the world it's nothing's easy in this league but that four gamer is not not terrible there's winnable games in there even if you do not have Jordan love so let's go through this a little bit let's say Jordan misses four weeks of play and it'll take let's just make the hypothesis cuz it's what it was last year it'll take a 9-8 record to get into the playoffs I think there's a good chance it may take 10- seven but let's just say it takes 9-8 and that Jordan is going to be out for four weeks if the Packers go 0 and four in those four weeks their record will be 0 and5 and the record they will need the remainder of the way in their final 12 games to get into the playoffs will be 9 and three they'll need to go 9 and three in the last 12 games of Jordan love if they were to go 0 and4 and have a record of 0 and5 going into their final 12 games if they go 1 and three their record would be 1 and four they'll need to go eight and four to end the year if they go 2- two their record will be two and three and they'll need to go seven and five the remainder of the Year seems very doable the Packers go 3- one the record will be 3-2 and the remaining record needed would be 6- six and if somehow the Packers were to go 4-0 without Jordan love their record would sit at 4- one and the remaining record that they would need to get into the playoffs would be five- seven and if you want to say they need 10 wins all right then 0 and four would need to go 10 and two 1 and three would need to go 9 and three uh two and two would need to go eight and four three and one would need to go seven and five and four and0 would need to go six and six so th those are your numbers there if you're kind of looking at it from that standpoint so we'll kind of get to in just a little bit of like what you know some of the um the different kind of scenarios are in best case and worst case but let's let's take a pause before we get there and let's look at what Green Bay's options are at quarterback while Jordan is out and remember they're hopeful that it's only 3 to four weeks so right now on this Packers roster you've got Malik Willis and Shan Clifford Malik Willis on the active roster Sean Clifford on the practice squad that is it no other quarterbacks remember Michael Pratt their quarterback from training camp was released and he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad so those are the only two that you have so those are the current options in the building here are some notable practice squad players that are at quarterback that Green Bay could sign off of the practice squad and there's no transaction needed right you can just go sign them off the opposing team's practice squad sometimes the player will let the team know and say hey do you want to match this and bring me to your active roster and they might say yes and then Green Bay could theoretically lose out on that but I think any of these quarterbacks would want the potent in Green Bay right now knowing that there may be an Avenue for them to start games over the next four to 6 weeks is so here are some notable names Mike White who is currently on the Buffalo Bills practice squad Michael Pratt who he talked about with the Buccaneers if they wanted to bring uh somebody that was familiar with the offense back in the uh back in the building Desmond Ritter for the Arizona Cardinals bayy zappy for the New England Patriots Tim Bole of the Miami Dolphins you knew I was going to put Tim Bole in here Jake from from the Lions Tyler Huntley from the Ravens and jiren Hall from the Seahawks let's go through those really quick Mike White from the bills former Dolphins quarterback would be a decent option has a little bit of experience uh right now is behind both Josh Allen and Mitch trubisky in Buffalo so that could be one option Michael Pratt again knows the system is familiar although clearly Green Bay did not have any sort of real um feel that he could be a quarterback even in the future much less now otherwise they would have kept kept him on the roster and they didn't they didn't even get him back in the practice squad he's just in Tampa so very unlikely there Desmond Ritter basically the only good game that he played was against Green Bay last year but maybe they saw something in that game that they liked maybe that could be somebody that they pick up bayy zappy he's played against Green Bay in the past that could be another player he's had a little bit of success has gone in and won some games in New England with some bad teams Tim Bole not likely I would say he's in Miami but he does know Matt lefleur's offense if you wanted somebody that could come in right now and actually be a player that knows the system there's not a ton of upside there but he knows the system that could be a Play Jake from the only reason I put him on the list is remember he was in mini camp for the try or sorry the rookie mini camp for tryouts with Green Bay he didn't make the team then so the fact that they' give him a 53 man roster spot now seems probably unlikely but he did at least get a cup of coffee for those couple days at rookie mini camps to experience Green Bay and get to know the offense a little bit Tyler Huntley be a fun player especially if you're going to have Malik Willis as maybe your primary to have another you know running quarterback that has the athleticism and the arm talent that could be the backup to Malik Willis for those like that could be something that you do over the next three four weeks and build an offense so you know out of a a more running style quarterback and you know usually the reason you don't want to do that is because those guys will get subjected to hits and it could lead to injuries well if you're just going to be wanting them for four weeks and you got two of them you could maybe do some creative stuff there and then jiren hall for the Seahawks former Minnesota Viking you know the fact that Minnesota let him go so easily I think it was a fifth round pick a season ago uh they did want him back in the practice squad but Seattle uh was able to get him over in in their neck of the woods and on their roster so that he could maybe develop in a different way over there so all in all not not a ton of great options but that's what you're expecting at this point but not terrible right like Desmond Ritter started bayy zappy has started I believe Mike White has some starts Tyler Huntley has started jiren Hall started against Green Bay it did not look good last year but there's some quarterbacks out there with some experience if you want to go in that direction and then that brings us to some free agent quarterbacks that aren't currently on teams that are out there that you could sign as well Jacob een the only reason I bring him up because of course he was in training camp that would probably be more of a practice squad Edition but he was in Camp with Green Bay at least knows the offense if you need uh an emergency third quarterback for the time being PJ Walker he was in Seattle on the practice squad he has made multiple starts in the past in the NFL Carolina Panthers quarterback again was with Seattle this off season he is not currently on a team or on a practice squad and then Ryan tanhill let's take a a pause for a moment and let's talk a little bit about Ryan tanah Hill the first thing that I hear as soon as Ryan tanhill gets brought up of well the great thing is that he's familiar with Matt laflor and they work together and he knows the offense Ryan tanhill and Matt laflor were never together their paths basically crossed in the night as Matt lefur was leaving Ryan tanhill was going in they were never in the building together in Tennessee so it's not something that he could just come in and be like yep know Matt lefur well know his offense that's that's not the case this is where we get into a couple situations that we talked about with Ryan tanhill in the past the first thing that I would bring up with Ryan tanhill is is this the opportunity that he would want now if Jordan had suffered in a L injury or was done for the year then yes this would very much be the situation that Ryan Tan Hill would want he would come in he may not be the starter from day one because he wouldn't know the system right away he might be but he would come in and probably maybe doesn't get the cold skin but probably would start by Tennessee right like that would probably be the situation with Ryan tanah Hill if they were to go out and sign him today I think he'd probably be the starter in Tennessee and maybe he would have a chance against the Colts if they signed him today but um we don't know if if tan Hill would even have an interest in this does he want to come to Green Bay and be a backup quarterback for the majority of the year as soon as Jordan gets back and what again it's hopefully three to four weeks and also knowing that he's probably not maybe going to be able to play against the Colts in week one you might sign him for a twoe starting job that I mean again I don't know that tanah Hill would be interested in that he might hold out and say hey at some point a quarterback's going to go down with a significant injury and for probably a team that's pretty darn good that's the situation that I want and I again I don't know I'm not Ryan tanah Hill I can't read his mind but I could see a situation which you know maybe this is not the exact situation that he's looking for knowing that yeah he get a couple spot starts but Jordan could be back after that and he might not see the field again he might want to be the guy for some team that's competing that loses their quarterback and he may be willing to wait that out the next thing is contract if I'm Ryan tanah Hill I'm at least looking for probably six mil a year and that's probably on the you know Lower Side I think somewhere between six to 8 million per year is probably what you'd be looking at and if you're Green Bay let's let's play through this timeline one more time if it let's say it's a three-week injury for Jordan they're hoping three to four weeks let's say that he is going to be out Colts Titans and Vikings all right we just talked about maybe he plays in that Colts game but the truth is he's probably not fully ready to play in that game and that could end up being a situation where it's not super useful because he barely knows the offense at that point and then maybe against Tennessee and Minnesota you get him for those but then Jordan's back for the Rams game do you want to give a six seven8 million contract on a one-year deal for a player that makes a couple spot starts on a team that he does not know the playbook for very well I don't know that that's what you want to do I understand it I I I totally get it guys for those of you that are on the the Ryan tanah Hill train and being like it makes so much sense and everything like that just again remember it's not he doesn't know the offense yes he did play Under Arthur Smith there is some carryover and crossover from Jordan love to Arthur Smith so there is that but it's not like he can come in right away just plug and play and by the time he really starts to get this offense down Jordan's probably back so I don't know that that's actually the play either and I will just say regardless of what I think I would be very very surprised if green Bay made a move for Ryan Tan Hill unless Green Bay gets news on Sunday that it's oh actually we think it's going to be more of an 8 to 10 week thing then then maybe that play makes a lot more sense and yeah so again there's just this small window we talked about this before with tanhill of like if you're out for the year you're probably just in purgatory with tanah Hill if it's just a thre week thing you probably don't really need to bring him in it's not worth the money to bring him in and he probably doesn't want to come in in that scenario so there's this very fine window where it actually makes sense and I don't think Jordan loves injury in this situation actually fits that window super well so free agents tanah Hill PJ Walker Jacob een and then you have some trade options I think this is very unlikely they already did a trade they traded for Malik Willis could they trade for somebody else yeah they could some names that could possibly make sense on teams that have three quarterbacks on their roster jamus Winston and Cleveland I don't know how interested Cleveland is there was Buzz around cut down time that they were willing to trade Winston my guess if they were doing that they were trying to trade him as a starter and I don't think any team was going to make him as a true starter at that point um so I I don't see that happening I think especially with the way deshun Watson's been just up and down with it being a lot more down than up I don't know that that's going to be something that they would entertain Joe flacko well the issue here is Joe Flaco's on the Colts and you play the Colts this week and I don't think the Colts are going to be too Keen to trade you Joe flacko the week that you play them and then again if it's a three-week injury now you're trading for two weeks of Joe Flo don't see that happening Zack and in Denver that could be one that you look at would they take a seventh round pick for it or a conditional seventh something like that maybe but I think Denver probably just keeps him in that scenario Drew lock in New York they still have uh Daniel Jones and then Tommy DeVito as one of the other backups so Drew lock is somebody that they could go acquire is that really going to move the needle a ton over the next couple weeks I think I just go with you know Malik Willis at that point and then J Kaner in New Orleans would be the other one they have spent Rattler now uh who could I I don't know if they've chosen a backup there between haer and Rattler but Rattler looked really good in preseason and then he still have Derek Carr there so haer could be another one but he doesn't have any experience and again would learn a new offense that situation I'd probably just go with Malik Willis so those are your options again in-house Malik Willis or Sean Clifford notable practice squad players Mike White Michael Pratt Desmond Ritter biley zappy Tim Bole Jake fromom Tyler Huntley and jiren Hull free agents Ryan tanah PJ Walker Jacob een trade options maybe jamus Winston Joe flacko Zach Wilson Drew lock or Jay Kaner so what would I do I know I don't have any say in it but if you're asking me what I would do in this situation I'm going to go with Malik Willis for now first of all I would probably add another QB in some capacity I think adding PJ Walker to a practice squad could make sense there's no risk in doing so you get him on the practice squad you see what he can do he started games in the past just gives you another option over these next few weeks or maybe a little bit longer if it ends up being that uh or if I don't want to go in that direction then I would take a chance on Tyler Huntley Mike White Desmond Ritter bayy zappy someone like that and picking them off off the practice squad and putting them on the active roster and then if let's just take uh let's take Tyler Huntley but you can put any of the practice squad guys in there but let's just take Tyler Huntley for example you pick him up off the Ravens practice squad add him to your active roster Malik Willis probably goes into the game as the starter Sean Clifford's a backup but now you've got Tyler Huntley as an option in a couple weeks if you would need that as well I could see you you know making that decision and deciding that hey we want one of these guys that's actually started some games before again Tyler Huntley Mike White Desmond Ritter Bailey zappy they all fit that category so that's what I would do I would go along these next three to four weeks trying to get Malik Willis up to speed hope that that goes well if it doesn't I'm going to add a little bit more insurance right now so that hopefully in a couple weeks if I need to go in a different direction I could go Sean Clifford but I could also go whether it's PJ Walker or Tyler Huntley or one of those guys it just is going to give me a little bit more optionality come in a couple weeks if Jordan's not ready and Willis really struggles through those first two weeks or even if he struggles and then maybe they look at Clifford and he struggles just any any more options that you can have at this point I think are better I wouldn't even necessarily hate if they did you know they kept Clifford on the practice squad went with Malik Willis as the starter brought PJ Walker into the practice squad and signed somebody like Tyler Huntley or Desmond Ritter off of the practice squad to go to the active roster just to get some bodies in the door give yourselves more options over the next few weeks see who can pick up the offense the quickest and hope like heck that it is only a two to three week situation or three to four week situation for Jordan love in the time being so how do you navigate these next few weeks well the goal now is over these over the time that Jordan's out is to stay afloat just stay right at or maybe one game below 00 I know they're already a game below so that's a tough ask but if it is four weeks we talked about that schedule Colts Titans Vikings Rams can you go two and two in those games that's the hope and ideally you would get the win against the Vikings and the Rams you want to win those NFC games but you'll take any two that you could get can you go two and two by the time Jordan gets back if you're two and three I think you have to feel really really good about things so that's the goal is just to stay afloat you can't have anything catastrophic you really don't want to go 0 and four in a Four game stretch if Jordan's out and comes back after that would be a a really brutal situation so can you at least pick up one win but in an ideal world you're picking up at least two next is the defense has to step up big they have to be a lot better than they were against Philly they're going to have easier matchups than Philly was but they need to play night and day better than what they did in week one now there were some real positive things including some turnovers we saw some you know I think we saw a little bit more contesting on plays but not a ton I I just it just needs to be better let's just put it as simple as it can be it needs to be better than what it was against Philly you don't have Jordan love you're not going to be putting up high 20s points like you got to think that on defense you got to keep the team under 20 it's going to take a little bit of a different game plan and you're going to have to figure out how you know ways to win games against you know teams that are okay that are still NFL quality teams that can beat you on Any Given Sunday and certainly have a lot better chance if you've got Malik Willis or some you other quarter back out there not named Jordan love and then lastly I think the other thing that you have to look at here is is just figure out a way to build this offense for Malik Willis he's a unique dude he's got great arm talent and he's got extremely talented legs and running ability he's fast he's athletic can make people Miss he's agile can you build something for him a little bit more you know run pass option think that could work with Emanuel Wilson and Josh Jacobs think you can get some easy completions that way way these wide receivers are great blockers on the outside we're probably about to see a lot of stuff a lot of throws that are at are behind the line of scrimmage with Malik Willis a lot of handoffs a lot of rpos a lot of stuff behind the line with a maybe a shot play every now and again trying to get a tight end of the seam or a one-on-one with Christian Watson just to change things up every now and again but I think we're going to see a very specific brand of football for Malik Willis but I have all the faith in the world for Matt lafl to build that exact scenario specifically for Malik Willis so what's your best and worst case scenario best case scenario loves out two to three weeks and you find ways to pick up wins against the Colts and the Titans and you stay afloat you get a couple wins loves back and you're good to go from there the worst case Jordan loves out about eight weeks you go one and seven or 0 and8 and The Season's basically just over uh I love uh the ability of Jordan love and what he stands for and and how good of a QB he can be to expect him to come back as the team is 1- seven or 0 and8 and do a run the table 2.0 that's a tall task and I I don't think I don't think this team right now is up to that sort of challenge where if you're 0 and eight by the time he gets back it's just probably game over at that point right going N9 and0 the rest of the year is and even if you did or you know again if even if it's one and seven they still might need to go 9 and0 because 10 and seven might be the record that you need to get in so that that's worst case scenario again best case is it's a couple weeks love is back and find a way to pick up a win or two against the Titans and the Colts all right some other news we're going to get away from Jordan love here and just kind of wrap things up some good news on Josh Meyers it was just cramps per match snidman so he is not going to be out an extended period of time or anything like that was a weird play I watched it on tape and it looked like almost like his legs just like froze up on him and then he just kind of like Timbers over was a weird looking play I was watching it for like any thing with the legs and did seem like anything bent like if anything it looked like maybe I forget I forget if I might have these transposed but it looked like it was one leg and then you know that maybe got hurt and I'm like looking at that one I'm like yeah maybe I could see something there and it was like he was grabbing the other one I'm like I don't know what to make of this but apparently it was just cramped so good news there on Josh Meers and then I did go back as I mentioned and watch all the offensive tape and I'm going to watch the defense on Sunday here's what I saw on offense and I thought Matt laflor really hit it on the head and one of the things that he brought up was his Red Zone production and the team's Red Zone production it just wasn't good enough I'll take it one step further it was Red Zone production and just leaving points on the field this is like the number one I mean turnovers will get you killed but leaving points on the field will get you killed as much if not more and here were some of the situations that Green Bay had second and six at Philly's 38 yard line Second and six at Philly's 38 yd line right there that's a 55 yard field goal attempt they ended up with zero points in a punt on that drive first and 10 at Philly's 12 yd line first and 10 on the 12 that's great touchdown scoring opportunity they settled for three first and goal from Philly's three yard line first and goal from the three on the ne on a a subsequent drive three points on that drive first and 10 at Philly's 25 yard line ends up in zero points that's a uh Braden n mfield goal Drive second and five from the Philly eight yard line ends up in only three points so you're talking about and and they missed the two-point conversion which left two more points out on the field or just taking the extra point which would have left one more point on the field so second and six from Phillies 38 you would have loved to got three there first and 10 from Philly 12 you would have love to get seven so that's 10 first and goal from Philly three you would love to get seven more that's 17 first and 10 from Philly's 25 you'd love to at least get a field goal there that's 20 excuse me second and five from Phillies 8 we'll say just to be careful like one of these may not get a touch say a field goal here I mean that what 23 are we up to and then a two-point conversion or maybe just an extra point that's 24 25 maybe even more points that are left on the field on those drives you have to do better than that and when I went back and watched it there's some really good stuff from offense in this game there really really is Jaden Reed clearly being one eight Elton Jenkins had a great game we'll talk about all those uh grades and stuff coming up but there was some real positives to take away a lot of negatives a lot of M throws some you know almost a pick six thrown to on the swing uh throw to the right side th interception on the throw to Luke Musgrave some drop passes a lot of penalties a lot of mistakes but overall I have zero concern if once Jordan gets back this offense is still going to hum there's a lot out there and like I said they what they put up 29 Points was it 28 29 already losing track I've already blanked out the score uh and obviously Jordan love has been more on my mind 29 Points in that game they they scored 29 Points and left about 22 25 out on the field think about that for a minute and I I I agree with Matt I think the big thing was Red Zone production and then just getting points when they were out there all right last but not least uh Sunday slated games let's reset expectations here for a little bit the odds that this team goes now and just wins the Division that got a lot harder I think if we're being honest the the goal posts have moved enough to say hey right now it's just get in the dance get in the playoffs I don't care if it's the one seed the seven seed anything in between just get in the dance and we'll figure out the rest from there that's the goal from now on and if you're looking at that and you're sort of reset I'm not saying they can't win the north I'm not saying Detroit and some of these other teams couldn't have some injury issues as well they'll have their opportunities Green Bay's got to find a way to pick up W's not saying it's impossible I'm just saying if we're resetting expectations especially with a really good Detroit team in the division the division expected to be a good solid sound division one of the best arguably than resetting expectations of just getting the playoffs and if you're looking for that then if you're looking for something to cheer for on Sunday and Monday I guess we're cheering AFC the less wins that you can have in the NFC the better so right now on Sunday and on Monday Night Football you are cheering for all the AFC teams when they're matched up against the NFC team so Steelers over Falcons bills over Cardinals Titans over Bears Broncos over Seahawks Browns over Cowboys and jets over 49ers let's get those wins in the AFC column keep them out of the NFC and keep it so that maybe 9 and8 or Worse gets you in the playoffs somehow so we are cheering for AFC teams for pretty much the rest of this year anytime they go up against an NFC team so again Steelers over Falcons bills over Cardinals Titans over Bears Broncos over Seahawks Browns over Cowboys and jets over 49ers on Monday Night Football uh that's going to do it uh you know obviously some relief right season's not over it's not going to be easy let's see how 2024 plays out there's still a lot of possibility in this season I always talk about hey at some point you are going to have to overcome adversity I was hoping it wasn't quarterback adversity and wasn't hoping it was this early but it is what it is they got to face it head on hopefully get to a point where Jordan can go back hopefully sooner rather than later and they're still competitive they can do that then let's reset and see what this team is come the end of the year and hopefully in the the playoffs and making some noise right now just one step at a time one game at a time and I almost didn't put this in there but I just want to remind one thing even if Love's out six weeks they go one and five which means they're one- six on the season and love can't get them quite in the dance just remember this team is still ahead of schedule 2025 was always kind of the the year that made the most sense next year is going to have a lot of opportunity and if they do miss the playoffs or finish poorly due to Jordan's injury that's going to help them get some more talent in the door as well which is not necessarily a bad thing I'm not giving up on this season no way shape or form there's a lot of lot of time left I almost did an Aaron nagler a lot of ball game left but a lot of time left on this season it's it looks like it's going to be a shorter term injury I think Matt laflor is good enough to pick up a win or two in this three to five game stretch and then let's go from there and see what this team can be when Jordan gets back lot of opportuni still in 2024 but just don't forget they're still not behind schedule even if they do have a very disappointing season based on the injury to Jordan that's going to do it for me today shout out to our Hall of Fame and
