it's it's one of those men where it's uh it's a consistency and What needs to improve in 2025? talking about consistency of the ref and Buzz confirming that um VES and what's it called Andrew abda has confirmed that there's a possibility of them improving the football department and the bunker system and for me I think this is the perfect time after the season we've seen lots of bad calls in um this season's uh 20124 and I think they need to improve and just to be consistent like like confirm and um assure teams what is a high contact what is a a Sim bin cuz if we can improve that the game's going to be so much better so what's contacted ahead the touch that simin and people know like the fans will know that no matter what it's it's a simin so we're all sure and I think they got to you know make you know High tackles in the penalties you know for example like Justified for example we see many times players slep and the contact they should know look okay he slipped he's went Lan of course the arms going to hit him on the face so they should take that in consideration okay we're not going to yes we'll give it a penalty but no s be no send off for that no report because it's an accident he said but it's an accident so I think these things are got to take into consideration cuz I think they can really make the game better and they can make it um make us fans not get angry at when decisions don't but the real question is who is making these judgments up in the bunker now the bunker right now has eight people determining a result yeah that's too much talk about talk about the previous pod you have a former player you have a fan and you have a a proper officiator like a referee in there but just three people I think three people is enough in that bunker to determine a result and I think that's all you need and I think everyone will be happy the fans will be happy the everyone players will be happy coaches will be happy cuz all you see now is coaches talking [ __ ] about the bunker and the referees and the fans going off their head and Billy Slater coming onc bil SL going on podcast saying defending the referees like this would all be filtered out if you had a good bunker system and some good officiating and some good consistent officiating and even not only that not only High contact but the one two weeks ago um the the field goals in the Rock infrigement what is it the the blockage yeah um when Knights took the field goal and even sharks I think that that need they need to get that sord next year cuz that cost um ponga and kns to two points cuz if they had won that last week they could have been in the top eight comfortably right now so again there's many areas I still think forward forward pass like overruling it should be something they should be focusing on I don't think I don't know why they're not taking this seriously it's been an issue for the past decade and hopefully they get that sorted out and yeah just key areas it starts to make this game better yeah and again for I think the problem with forward pass why they don't do it is because sometimes forward passes are hard to you know deter sometimes they don't have the funds to get in the you know the technology you know for example um in Premier League how they have the high class technology that can determine when Summer's offside I Reon angles can we've seen on camera angles you can see that it's a clear forward the clear obvious ones they should but there's sometimes very tight ones where they can't so I think the most important one bring it into get the ones that clear obvious for example like that ree Wan back last year against War the biggest forward they didn't pick up on it people you can say that built the momentum for the Broncos not saying goes to Broncos or something no he has to stay well he's what what's called by November one he'll be able to talk to many clubs you look at Broncos uh rumors about Adam Reynolds is going to be the long-term halfback it could be last year so uh Sam Walker could again if roosters don't want him he's going to be joining there say around 2026 you got Cowboys chat town has left um Jake Clifford has been the replacement but again is he going to be that consistent halfback four Cowboys um for me I I think he's a good player but I don't think he can be consistent Sam MO is a consistent player uh great kicker in the game um what's it called conversion kicker so I think Sam Walker I think he should be staying at roosters I think roosters have so much money to like really spend and I don't know why they're just letting players go for fun like Chad town is coming back next year uh sand Smith is potentially going to be the halfback um all chat townsed one of those players so just really confusing why rers are just letting players go and really not getting any replacement they should with what say Mora like he's been their best player he's he's just a natural halfback he knows what Hughes will stay at Melbourne so very very limited in the competition right now there not going to be a lot of movement big movements because everyone's contracted and you just there's even props you can't find props out there that you can you can buy so it's a bit of a hassle for clubs that need players um it's crazy how like bro like this wouldn't I don't think this would be a conversation back in the day like as in a struggle to find halves why but why bro like but is it is it the junior system are they not developing this great players or like like like what do you think like is the reason why there isn't I I'm throwing this question out there but like cuz bro I always thought this bro why why do we always hear that like oh there's there's no young half on the market that can carry a team and this and that there's everyone every Club struggling in that way but why is but why is it a question yeah I think you look at the teams like roosters um Melbourne and for who Panthers they've been the most dominant for the past 10 years there was this stat about Minor Premier these are the three teams I've won for the past 10 years and I feel because they've been so dominant at these teams and even in that period of 2021 where you had Mandy roosters and it was just five teams just smashing everyone those other teams their confidence drop they struggling they they're they're performing bad and these number sevens aren't being able to show what they can do especially in those periods I think that could be a reason why that these teams are overpowered and they're just smashing teams off the park for example you talking about that you got um l l for example great player man and very consistent but because he was around a losing culture we barely saw saw the best of him you got that Cowboys now he's like I said before he's back into the squad but because of Cowboys back in he played there 2 three years ago because of them not being the best team that's why you never saw the best of him so that's the key reason I I feel like it starts at the Grassroots bro as in theug like the the the junior Department man I don't feel like there's that that that one player that I could be talking out of mar here but I don't feel like maybe it's just the talent pool bro I don't know maybe just we're in a period where everyone wants to be a Winger everyone no one can carry a team into like in we look at Panthers they've got C he's world class you look at Melbourne they've got H who's a very good player they they like one in like how many let's let's look at the Knights for example they got um seven Jackson Hasting isn't the best yeah you got um the Tigers have um number aen Caesar he's experienced but he's old you have mey cherry Evans a very good player world class but he's getting old too so you look at Players bulock SE and he's building slowly so majority of these teams where I feel they have some have good halfbacks um but you got others that they yes they're good halfbacks but they're getting old yeah yeah there's only a few selected and it comes from those three teams I mentioned Panthers rers and um Melbourne where that they have the the best sevens in the game and quickly about not about the Youth Academy but maybe the halfa is is it because we're in a like New Era like you look at hodkinson back in the days was such a great halfback you got Cooper Kong thirst so many Elite halfbacks 10 years ago but maybe now slowly give it five more years and these players will be like well known and yeah because they they're easier to find back that's that's my point but like these days it maybe because we're I don't know yeah again but maybe we're in a we're in a down phase where it's like everyone still developing and whatnot but yeah well um finally let's just talk about How good has Bronson Xerri been in 2024? brons and Jerry quickly um he's been exceptional he's scoring so many tries right now I think he's on 11 tries this season I'm pretty sure 10 I think 10 he's up there as the B leading Tri scor and what an a season he's had like from where he was with all the issues he's had it's made him a better play he even said it's it was someone else saying I don't wish anyone um harmed to go through what he went through but it's a blessing disguise with how it's developed him transformed him and allowed him to be the play he now because he is smashing it he did start the season slow and I'll be honest I was one of them that said I think Cherry shouldn't be starting um I think he just needs to grow into the game slowly grow because being four years out of the competition and considering how much the game has changed it's G to take time for him to adapt and who knows what this can do if he comes back and he plays poorly and that ruins his confidence and he probably starts to doubt himself if he can do it long term but yeah he just especially the last two three months he's really clicked form 10 tries he's scoring basically every single week um yeah it's just except for the week I put him on yeah exactly and you put him this week and but Cher yeah man he's incredible play and if he did start the season well you Emilia how he P his U bold prediction as Cher's um center of the year if he was performing like this since the S of the year I reckon he would have got it because the performances he's been putting has been incredible man and he's just going to get better and better yeah and um speaking about Bronto Cherry I I I asked someone this question I can't remember who was one of the boys I said would you rather cherry or ailla at center for the bud so let's say ailla said who would you rather I think personally I think ailla is a a better fullback than the center okay but because there's a better team around him now maybe Center would do him well but to be honest I'm happy with cherry now yeah yeah I wouldn't mind either I I always was standing up I honestly as good as Bronson as good as Bronson Cherry's been playing bro he he's proven proven me wrong I said he wasn't going to be great after four years going to come in Rosy get dropped and whatnot but he's proven all the doubt is
