what was your reaction when you get out there in the first pter turn and the CRA roers man it was a surreal feeling being on the field finally in the purple but I'm just blessed to be here and blessed to be with my teammates here at Kansas State what was your favorite part about tonight uh really just looking up at the scoreboard and seeing it was 41- six just a w um I ain't won a game in a while and it just felt real good you and DJ had a few times you guys were able to share the field and how effective do you think that makes the offense to that you've got two guys in that back field who can make play it's definitely different um practice is definitely different as well I think you guys have seen it as well um we push each other and compete and you see it out there he's a great player so we're going to keep on you know putting on for Kansas State this year what's up feeling like catching that touch down and hear the crowd like that it's a great feeling because when we're were in the Huddle before the play every was like Hey be open I'm looking at you and so um after I caught it you know we celebrated everything it just felt real real good so you've been talking about this there's been buildup about you and Avery being able to take the field together what was that moment like you guys wearing the same uniform I think when I first went out there we just looked at go and um I feel like when we had a little bit of adversity in the first half I was like I looked at him told him to just take over um do do you be you and he did you see how the kind went so I think he did a great job at doing that so were you nervous at all heading into the day um coming into it I mean it's a brand new atmosphere for me um the buildup to the game and the hotel room and everything it it was definitely nervous um coming in but my roommate was DJ gens and we just chilled and watched college football and ate pizza the night before and just chopped it up a little bit and just chilled watch film so I mean I really feel like the nerves all went away after the day was ended how how would you rate the way you played in game one um I feel like I did good but I definitely feel like um through these next games I want to show um as a team we want to show that we we're not to be messed with and that we're here to stay in the Big 12 and we want to win the Big 12 was there a moment during the game where it sort of hit you that you were at home as you said and that you were playing for for Kate um during warm-ups I was just looking at everybody I was looking at the crowd I was like wow like it's really here like we're playing and it's it's go time so um just it felt real good was it good to kind of get the first one out of the way too yeah it definitely feel really good um but like I said this it's a long season so two lane next week and we just got to build off this win today Co
