Golden Lions play in person. It's a big week for war Memorial Stadium as the Benton and Bryan High School football teams prepare for Friday night Lights at the 50th anniversary of the softball game. Both communities gathering for separate pep rallies tonight to get fans hyped up ahead of the matchup. Madison governor is in studio tonight in Madison. This is something the 2 teams and of course, the fans look forward to each and every year. >> Laura, everyone is so excited for the softball game this year. War Memorial Stadium, the rival game brings hundreds of people each year which only adds to the stakes of winning. >> Aden bright, he nutty gathering tonight to add more fuel to the rivalry fire. Both pep rallies taking place on the same accident. Each team trying to be the loudest and proudest teams, of course, wanting to bring home the softball championship in those bragging rights. Payne says he's ready to be back out on the turf playing for Panthers in his memory Senior QB Jordan Walker says it's all about the game with his fellow Hornet teammates and blue.
