Keegan Bradley Saturday Flash Interview 2024 BMW Championship

Keegan uh good round there look like he had I think four pars a lot of circles and squares do you take a an additional satisfaction from having taken a lot of punches but gotten back up and kept fighting for sure it was tough out there today it was really windy uh a lot of elevated te's that are that were into the wind which makes it really tough uh proud of the way I fought today I played some brilliant golf but I also hit some terrible shots too but I guess that's the way of the world but I uh I'm proud of the way I I fought there in the end uh the end especially it's got to be a good you know good vibe going into tomorrow the last couple holes after you know kind of a rough stretch there early on the back yeah for sure I told myself after those three Bogies in a row that you know I was either TI the lead or maybe one back I don't even know I would have been happy with that to start the week this late in the tournament so kept trying to tell myself that and you know I really hit quality shots coming in after that um I'm sure you saw ludic got up there LED for a little while back and forth what have you seen from him so far and you know basically he's only been out here a year played Rider couple before played in Major well I think that he's uh one of the best players in the world now and he will be for the next 20 years I think he's uh such an impressive player great guy and uh somebody that you know we're gonna have to deal with for as long as he's out here Keegan you're uh 38 and you won twice as recently as last season but now people are talking about you as the captain which is typically for some older players do you feel somewhat forgotten about as a player uh a little bit but you know that's sort of been how I've gone my whole career so I'm I'm fine with it I you know to be named the Ridder Cup captain and still be a full-time player is strange so I don't think anyone knows how to handle this situation so I'm doing the best I can the only thing I can keep doing is play my best golf and maybe PL my way on some of these teams have you had to learn to react and how to how to sort of deal with the USA stuff because it's it's it's like a little bit off topic it's just incredible I I you know being the Ridder Cup captain is such an honor and it comes with such a heavy weight of you know the the world the United States the players out here but when you get to feel that energy from the fans it's really special I I I haven't felt that since I played in the ryer cup of president cup what I felt out there today and that was really cool how much did you feed off of the crowd we saw some great fist pumps out of you you hyping up the crowd how much did you feed off of that yeah I mean I I I honestly wasn't expecting this uh but you know I love we I love when we come and play in markets that we don't come to and you can just tell the fans are really excited and uh you know for now I I feel like I need to carry the torch for the United States Rider Cup team and I hope I'm doing that thank you
