iOS 18 Top NEW FEATURES

hey guys welcome back to the channel welcome back to the another video iOS 18 is around the corner and in today's video I'm going to talk about the biggest iOS 1818 changes that you can expect to see in the actual public release that is going to be very soon also I will talk about when we can expect to see the release the actual version of iOS 18 so I'm going to cover top 18 changes coming to this iOS and also going to cover the release date so grab the popcorn and let's start this video I hope you will enjoy this video I'm going to highlight the main features starting with very first one finally after a long wait now we can lock and hide applications without using any tricks or shortcut application so for example if I want to uh lock any application for example I want to lock the mail application what I need to do is tap and hold this application over here and there is is a new Option known as require face ID as you can see now tapping on this it will ask me again again and now it will um scan my face and now the app is lock opening over here it will ask for the face ID by viewing it I'm unable to open the application also I can hide the application if I want to for example I want to hide my Instagram over here I need to go to require face ID once again there is a new Option hide and requ require face ID tapping on this it will ask for face go for it and now boom there is no application if I go over here and type Instagram it will not show up what I need to do is go to the app library at the end of this and over here there's a new folder name as hidden tap on this face ID scan now there is Instagram this is a simple way to lock and hide applications now available with the iOS 18 now moving to the next thing is now finally you can customize your home screen in a different ways for example I'm going to grab an application maybe this one um I'm going to pick this one and take to the another page over here what I can do is I can change this icon into a widget so tap and hold there are new options available I can change this icon to a widget just like this one now I can take this widget and change to a different size tap and hold once again now I can change the size according to my choice tap and hold again and this way I can customize the widget according to my choice these are also available with the iOS 18 finally we are able to change the lock screen shortcuts over here with the iOS 18 so tap and hold over here customize customize lock screen now we can customize the icons customize the shortcuts according to our choice so I I will do it tap on this plus button there are wide options are available I'm hoping to get more options but they are already many I can also open any application for example open app and now from here I will choose the app that I want to open maybe I will go with backdrops over here this done done back to the lock screen tap and hold and it will open backdrops which is great now these changes are available with the iOS 18 now moving to the next one is one of the biggest changes without a doubt and that is a new control center after iOS 11 literally now over here as you can see there is a complete new control center available we can customize the control center according to our choice we can also bring multiple pages to the control center to enhance our experience there is a new plus button on the top as you can see t on this plus button now there is an add a control option over here I can add as many controls as I want now there are many there are tons of options available as you can see which is really really amazing for example I tap and hold playing now sorry tap it it is available over here tap and hold it go to the next page and I can create a complete new page I can customize its size I can you know do whatever I want I can also make a one whole page um dedicated to music Control according to my choice so this is a new control center you can customize lot of things according to your choice which is really really great now that there are many other home screen customization available and these home screen customization are one of the highlighting features of the iOS 18 number one we can place icons anywhere we want so maybe I go to back to the icon and now I'm able to place the icons anywhere I want as you can see without any doubt as you can see also if I go to the uh let me go to the main page over here if I go to the jigle mode over here there are new couple of options available as customize and added pages with the added Pages I'm able to see all my screen pages I can maybe uh uncheck them if I want to I can customize according to my choice going to done going back to the jiggle mode again add it sorry addit customize now there is a new menu available which brings different colors of icons the basic one are we can go to the light mode of the icons as you can see which looks really good also we can go to the darker version I like to choose the automatic version at um customize my icons according to the uh dark mode or light mode of the device also I can go to the tinted version where it it can I can literally choose any color of my choice as you can see I can make them look as I want also now there are larger version of I available by this way I can um upsize these icons according to my choice which looks really really good so these are some of the customization features available now moving to the next one is the new setting application it seems similar but now settings application is properly organized we all know that settings application was quite clly from so many years but now as you can see there is a new tab that says apps no apps are also properly categorized going over here we can see the apps are properly mentioned over here we can easily go to any application of our choice from here this is one of the biggest changes in the apps application also there are few changes for example battery is available in the top section now also there are few icon changes over here just like background app refresh has a new icon and some other changes available over here too so these are the new settings application if you guys want me to make a full-fledged video about the settings application let me know in the comment section below also going back over here iCloud is now available on the main page of the settings application which is also quite handy which is great now moving to the next feature that is a all new fledge application known as passwords just like last past or bit water now we can save our passwords in this application tapping over here it is automatically locked we and um save pasy codes Wi-Fi and it also gives us um warnings regarding the uh use of passwords we can also share by tapping on this plus button we can create a new one for sure but we can also share this with um group of people maybe you trust or something but it was already available in the settings but it was not properly organized but with this passwords app it is now much in a organized way and I think it is going to be a killer for these applications like bit W or last B what application you use to save your passwords let me know in the comment section below now moving to the next one is related to the IM messages going over here in the IM messages over here now tapping on this plus button I can send later any message I can schedule any message I want I can choose the time according to my choice as there are pretty much many options available which is really great it was quite in a demand and now finally they are here also if I tap and hold over here now you can see I can react to different messages in a much better way this is the most needed um feature in the message application I can tap on this and there are tons of options available for sure and it is a really cool feature finally over here also if I go over here and type anything or before typing there are new text effects available so tapping on this there a big small Shake nod explode Ripple Bloom Jitter so it gives a different for example this dancing is dancing as you can see this is not dancing basically this is the shake one but these are all Al available with the iOS 8 now moving to the photos application photos application has completely revamped for sure I cannot show you the actual photos application because of my personal photos but I'm definitely going to give you an idea new photos application is a single page there are photos on the top as you can see for idea then there is a recent Pages uh recent days albums and everything other also this is how the design look like there are collection memories trips featured photos media types utilities and some other options over here you can go to see more options over here as you can see you can customize the settings over here according to your choice you can customize and reorder everything now photos application is a single page and it feels a better but still it is in quite controversy well moving to the next thing are the new Safari features so going into the the Safari and tapping on this plus button now there are new features with Safari available for example if I go to Hello magazine over here so I can show you the new features let it load tapping on this button over here there is new hide distracting items tap on this I can hide anything from this page for example there is an ad on the bottom I want to hide it tap on this and now hide and boom it is is gone this is also mindblowing feature that is available with the iOS 18 moving to the next thing is all new game mode there are no specific settings for game mode available but there is a game mode so if I go to any game for example over here there will be a new popup game mode I can see the more details when the game mode is on background activity is reduced to optimize the performance of this game now game mode is also available with the iOS 18 which is really good now going back to the settings to show you some of the more features going into the accessibility now there is ey tracking available over here as you can see with the ey tracking feature you can control your iPhone through your eyes you need to turn on and you need to follow the dot with your eyes as it moves around the screen so obviously I'm making video right now so but it's a cool feature and it doesn't work properly but still it does some of work which is really good going to the next feature is definitely the new calculator application it seems that it is the same one but now there is a new button on the bottom there are couple of app options available with the scientific one tapping on this math notes and convert one now it's time to go to the math notes over here now math notes is a revolutionary um uh update available and it can make your notes for example you can do any sort of a calculation with this for example I'm going to do is just for the example 4 * 4 is equal to 16 it is just an example you can do a more with this application now it is available I think it is one of the biggest changes also a much need change available that is a history tapping on these three lines over here we can see the history of a cal which was not there for so many years but now it is there and it is a very handy uh update so these are some of the updates now let's move to the another one going into the journal application now there are insights available on the top of this application as you can see tapping over here you can see the insights 14 entries this year journal for 37 Days visited one time how many words you have written so these are also available these things can help to uh motivate you so you can keep journaling and this is really good also videos regarding these are also available with the iOS 18 now there are some changes available in the cender application so going into the cender application over here as you can see on top of this there are new views option available stack details list also I like this one compact but I can also a pinch out to in crease it as you can see these are really good also Apple integated the reminders application in the cers which is really good so tapping on this plus button I can also create a reminder from here which is also really really good cancel going back now let's move to the another feature and that is with the Notes application so going into the Notes application math notes are also saved here but if I go on and create a new note tap on this text button Now new colors are available for the text as you can see these are some of the options for the colors which can Mak notes look more attractive also if I go over ahead and tap on this there is no record audio available so you can also save um audio to your notes and transcript of that is also available with this feature you can turn on and see the transcript if you want to these features are going to be really handy now moving to the next one is going from going here and then the fitness application Fitness application is also quite changed design is pretty much changed uh the activity ring is slightly bigger now it looks more uh better also going Bottom addit somebody over here I can add anything if I want over here for example tapping on this plus button I have lot of options available for example I want to add maybe walking over here I can add there are more options available so yeah fitness app is really uh revamped now and gives a lot of more customization to enhance your experience now these are some of the biggest 18 changes coming to the iOS 18 there are even more that I will be discussing in upcoming videos talking about the release date over here I am expecting to see iOS 18 RC on 9th of September because at that day
