in England as we speak it has a very very big African Asian community so hopefully by the time my friend comes he's going to give us a little breakdown we'll be able to go and see what all right I'm even for me and you it's going to be something new right so how how is life living in London you know London is a very is a very expensive or the UK to be more expensive um it's very expensive the way to describe London a mini New York okay a mini New York very Multicultural very diverse different communities busy hustle and bustle so many different types of food but the best thing about London is you can get all different type of food you want in London you can meet all different type of nationalities just living in London itself you know so you got South London the majority of people South a lot of African Caribbean diaspora North London also Turkish a lot of Jewish we have the second biggest Jewish Community outside of Israel living in North London a lot of people haven't uh they don't know that oh I didn't know based in Stanford Hill so you should also go and film them as well that's a very interesting Community a lot of people don't really understand how they live so that' be very good for you to go and film we have a very big Indian Pakistani community in the in the outskirts of West London as well so yeah London's home London's home okay all right I'm cool okay all right guys of the people there like my granddad came to Birmingham from Jamaica we were in the 30s or 60s and we all got kind of they all got placed into hanza um that's a big majority Jamaican community so most black people here in HW where a family originated from the Caribbean of Jamaica so Jamaica so you'll go down there there'll be it'll be many Jamaican shops many Jamaican food patties you ever had their par give them something to do right the parents the parents not teaching them all our parents never taught us all of them knew my my parents were Christians but they all knew about drugs why don't why why don't our parents teach us about the drugs from when we was young the school should do that as well so and if if you got a choice oh that's not happening in the in the educational system they know that street is the only thing that teaches you about you know why they don't you know why they don't because they know that mental health is a thing that that that that that hurts us we've never been like oh mentally ill I'm going to run to run to the doctors and we've just held our core now they come they look a racist thing we've held it but but we we've did our we've did our fighting to keep people off uh doing um doing something destructive do you know what I mean and it's a togetherness even if somebody doesn't want to train they can just come there as a collective and just right and just hang out as well just something to be around what's that word positivity you know what I mean do you understand guidance and help so yeah that's the main I've never heard of a a know a lot of family members that died from the streets in London I've lost a lot of friends so in the UK we have a very big uh crime and knife and gun culture J Man people think like exactly what he said before what I've been hearing mostly about a knives yes knife is serious since I came here it's like okay we got nine problems here so like where he's saying to you he can we've known many people when we on the video I'll just show you where a lot of the Fallen Soldiers have gone do you know mean they're not here no more so you'll see a lot you'll see a lot man you know what was the ultimate thing that made you just decide to go a different route in your life you know what it is it was when um when they tried to shoot me three days in a row I said you know what I'm leaving the UK so all the shops so you'll have all your grocery shops as you would say the fast food Burgers everything so you get everything get pizzas and this is where you'll find most of the activities that happen down here is more on the High Street if you want to speak to people you go down the High Street and find people but yeah all right first thing we SE in High Street is some Island Spice food you know you don't know Jamaica I don't know if it's Jamaica or not Absolut smells great in here it smells the food smells sweet up in here and America so we the RO mean oh look ahead so tell me where I can all his workers came out like 10 guys jumped in it was on video on what the heck unb so is it got the mafia thing going on here maybe little cuz they're all now that's why I'm not I'm not showing your face brother so so my man they protested for how long got that one shut down yeah which one international one with blue oh okay that got closed down for 4 weeks but they closing down for 4 weeks right but all these other businesses are making money he owns the car watch there he owns the shop next to it he owns the shop over the road British man no they're like a Kurdish or something Kurdish yeah that kind of I don't know yeah but either way they came out there was protest did he get arrested no did anybody get arrested nobody or you don't know nobody got arrested because they couldn't say or prove who was doing it because it was late night and there was how much of them so when they're doing the protest youve got the police out here every time they've blocked off the whole Road here but the police look like they're not here to help the black guys the police look like they were here to protect them so it was a black guy and his girlfriend that got assaulted and his sister was it you racially motivated or based off of someone taking a uh the parking space but they are racist at the same time when they were out here protesting they were still trying to call them black C and everything else so still coming with the race even though they coming with race this place right here this place right there okay all right so let's check out this place guys uh it's interesting how you come to these remote towns and you hear so many social issues that are happening in places like this and I know a lot lot of you guys want me to focus on the the beauty of the country and yes we maybe one that's probably because birmingham's the second biggest city after London thank you I would say 800 would more be closer to town whereas here if it's a one-bedroom you it's not that much if it's here you're probably looking at what 500 for one bedroom oh smaller yeah yeah for one bedroom round here I would say about 5 to 600 because of the cost of living crisis and stuff as well we closer to town what closer to town then it would definitely be be more 100% okay my family is Dominican though Dominican Republic okay okay you work at a gas station or something cuz you smells like straight like gas man high grade I mean it's around here bro it's around bro all right so how's how's life here in this in this area ah for me it's good you know it's all right convenient you grew up feel like it's a hardworking Town people here work hard and they you know they existing amongst each other but it's uh it's not just one um color here you see yeah you see people from all walks of life here um living in the same Community dealing with the same issues issues yeah you know and so you got all these different cultures absorbing we're going to get you a a nice Birmingham girl find compared to the places I've been so far yes is you know the the UN the uniformity of the way the town looks compared to other places so you see everything just looks like it should be there and then right now that doesn't okay cuz now we have these white buildings but all right and then I can understand how people may have thought when they first came here um with and the ren rust they mentioned uh how some of these buildings look like factories okay and so if you if you look at right here if these buildings were up around that time it makes sense I can understand like this is a because of it its uniformity it just seems like it's a place for business which this is but Factory but you can go to homes absolutely and find this similar type of energy like communities hey guys we're actually
