we're the goat Network now right we're the home of the goat the goat Network um I can't wait for this obviously you know everyone uh thinks we're tough on the Cowboys but we love the Cowboys around here don't get it twisted we love a great matchup and this is a great way to start with the goat well speaking of a great matchup not just the two teams but the two quarterbacks at play you got Dak Prescott he's playing for a contract this year going into the last year of his deal you got deshun Watson who Dak or Deshaun signed an unprecedented four years ago fully guaranteed contract 20 $ 36 million so you got Dak Prescott playing for a lot Deshawn playing for a lot not necessarily all playing for money some are playing for reputation shady as you look of two of the more polarizing figures in sports Dak Prescott deshun Watson two quarterbacks who have shown Elite Talent during the course of their career one playing for a deal another playing for his reputation who in the world has more to gain in America's game of the week Dak or desan game of the week though right I guess because Brady's calling it that's why I'm watching because isn't that exciting Cowboys got me America's team but the the Browns I'm excited about it I'm just saying I'm excited for Tom Brady give at that um I'll say this uh I'm gonna go to Sean Watson the last thing I could think of deshun Watson right outside of a a brown uniform is he was exciting he was electrifying right the you want the ball in his hands right because he can throw it make all the passes in the pocket or outside the pocket the play breaks down he can run the ball that's who Desa Watson I know yeah nobody looks at him like that no more at all so when you ask me who has more the game has to be Deshawn we need to I'm not even asking to be like the super Deshawn Watson we used to see just be competent enough right guys open delivered on time look like you a quarterback he look awful the last times I've been saying it right I mean and the think that a 40-year-old come off the couch and Lead this team to the playoffs and you rather have him than deshun Watson yeah CU you asking me i' rather to have Joe Flo than Des Wat yeah I'm say right now or last year last year I'mma say it so I just need to see Deshawn Watson of old and if he can get back to that list a little bit back to that I think that'll get some more respect like like earn the respect back where your name at now who are you now you used to be good are you still good you used to be nice or are you still nice these these is if I was his friend if I was his homeboy I don't want to go shopping dog I want to talk to you no I don't want to go to the club no we do that later let's talk today who are you today right because the guy that I know that we used to be boys in the backyard you was that guy and Clemson I couldn't wait to watch him at Clemson Guy Des Watson let me watch him then you go to the Houston Texans some years you had dehw balling and some years you didn't they didn't matter to you you still was cooking so if you ask me AO I ain't worried about that Prescot he going do good in the regular season that's what he does I'm worried about the Shawn Watson show me just a little bit 60% of the guy we used to love now that's that's very well said I think desan has way more to gain way more to gain I think he has more to gain financially if we're being honest if you just play reasonably well the Cleveland Browns will reup you if you just play reasonably well the Browns will sit there and say wait a second this is the desan that we always thought we always had and then if you play well you can change the narrative in our minds of who you currently are as a quarterback last two years haven't been good but the Shady so well alluded to deshun Watson wasn't just good in the league he let the league passing he was special he didn't just lead the league in passing yards he led the league in yards per attempt which tells you it wasn't just a high volume of throws he was chucking the ball two receivers even when dehop wasn't out there but who is deshun Watson right here right now so not only can deshun Watson change the narrative in our minds which might even be more important than trying to reup again but on top of changing the narrative on our minds the Browns have been yearning to pay Deshawn Watson they were were three years ago and obviously if he proves competency they'll do the same thing again I think deshan has everything to gain Dak he doesn't have that much to gain in my imagination if he plays well he'll get paid if he plays like he always does he'll get paid if he gets hurt he'll gets paid either way he gonna get paid but Deshawn so much is in flux we don't know who you are as a quarterback and I'm excited to find out exactly who deshun Watson is as a quarterback I think he has a lot to gain Jord Taylor yeah it's aan it's not even Dak vs Deshaun a question there's a reason why they gave him 230 million guaranteed had no choice well they were also the Browns and they're completely desperate but that's my point he was like that and they wanted someone who they thought they could bring in and win with right away he's had 12 starts since he's been there so he has not won right away to say the least he's been mostly unavailable dak's done pretty much everything that he can do and last season proved that you're an all proo you're runner up MVP other than winning a regular season MVP during the regular season there's nothing else that D can do he's going to win during the regular season he's going to have you in the playoffs he's going to win a playoff game and lose or he's going to lose in the first round of the playoffs we we pretty much know the story on Zach Prescott so I don't think he has anything more to gain cuz do we think he's going to win the MVP probably not so he's just had the best season of his regular season career this year nothing to prove nothing really to gain Deshawn has everything to prove and everything to gain from having a just to Shady's Point like 60 to 70% of what you used to bee cuz at this point the the the bar isn't hell the bar isn't hell just finish the season just get get get through a season is is the bar now 230 million we just want want a full season of you my guy so there's there's so much for him to gain among all quarterbacks with 150 plus passing attempts last season he is 23d in passing touchdown percentage 28th in passing rating 29th in passing yards per attempt and 35th in completion percentage he has been he's been bad yeah I'll be gentle he's been bad and unavailable that don't even sound right har you called him numbers out and you talking about deshun Watson it's it's hard it's hard for us to imagine that he's truly as bad as he has been so this year is is everything for deshun Watson there's a reason it's the game of the week he is still a very very big name he's being paid at a fully guaranteed contract they gave up a hul to get him it's now on him it's his responsibility to live up to this contract he earned it but now he is not earning it so he's got to go out there and have a big year yes Desa Watson and Deshauns future it's not close and um every time we talk about desun Watson we keep saying man if we can get that boy back like saying we keep saying man we can get that boy back from Houston it's been three years man it's been three years and this boy from Houston has not showed up in this locker room on this football field he has the most to gain and he has the most to lose Dallas Cowboys ain't signed no quarterback for a reason Dak Prescott eventually is gonna get paid the Cleveland Brown said Brett Huntley I mean Huntley come here I mean Tyler Huntley come here uh jamus Winston come on like if you do not play well he gonna be out of there we just seen Joe flacko take this team to the playoffs if you come in here and you're not available and you are not playing at a high level Deshawn Watson is going to be gone I don't know if he has another Bad season how many teams is gonna give him give him an opportunity Dak Prescott coming off all pro year whether he plays good or bad somebody's going to give this man give this man some money and obviously we seeing that play right there but Deshawn Watson if we really truly keeping it 100 he's been one of the worst quarterbacks in our league man and I can say that because we've seen how special this young fella could be and since he's gotten to the Cleveland Browns it's been a lot of what are you doing plays yeah that was and all we all we can say is oh eventually the Houston dude gonna come back maybe the Houston dude gone maybe he gone and and that's just keeping it 100 maybe he's gone because I have Haven seen zero flashes of it not a run not a throw zero flashes of that dude I just it's it's sounding kind of like what we did with Russell Wilson but the difference is like Russ is older the way that Russ won in Seattle was so different than the way that Deshawn won like it's we keep saying this with Russ but it's so different to me with DeShawn like DeShawn was the reason that Houston was winning he was highlevel spectacular why we're optimistic about Russ this year because we're like this is this is a similar situation to what he had in Seattle like he has a good he has a solid system he's got a a Hall of Fame coach like he's got a good defense like it's built the same way Deshawn is expected to come in here and do it himself and the Browns aren't even asking him to do that they have a good roster in a coach of the year like but not only that though at their peaks they look different yes that's all I'm saying Russ didn't look like DeShawn at they Peaks Deshawn was on a different level that's what I'm saying and we ain't even seen this dude and not not a not a flash of that in Cleveland it's going to be 44 months since he had a 300 yard game when he takes the why you didn't start that first you started that with Aaron I think I mean I had I had I had other smoke some other bad statistics to get through first you know I don't want to just read numbers man
