from first J you are headed to the fourth round here at the US Open for the first time in your career and you did it against a player who's been so dangerous this year in particular in front of an incredible crowd today what did you like most about your tennis yeah today I think I was pretty solid with um you know calm I tried to to play my game because she's an unbelievable player she played so well this year she can defend very well so I was repeating to myself keep calm and maybe play one more shot but maybe more safer than than usual but yeah I really enjoyed today was a really great atmosphere thank you guys for coming I really enjoyed so as of today you are now the first Italian in the open era to reach all four grand slam fourth rounds in a calendar year where does that consistency come from I don't know no um this year I started well I have to say and then uh I started to believe more in myself I started to believe that I could play well also in the slams because before this year I never passed two rounds in a in a grand slam so it changed a little bit I guess and yeah I really I really enjoyed to play to play here today as I said before it's amazing to to play in front of this crowd in front in a big Stadium you know I really love it so Jasmine this match today was a shout out to the short girlies do we have any short ladies in the house what does it say about the sport of tennis that there is no one body type that determines success I didn't get the answer the question I'm we we have two shorter girls on the court yes yes yes so there is no one body type that determines success in tennis how cool is that I don't know I guess we are fast on court um so I think we can play really good tennis um uh we are few that are so short so it's good sometimes to play somebody shter as me you know because the serve maybe it's a little bit uh different so at the beginning was struggling a little bit because I couldn't I couldn't return well but yes as I said uh we have different uh I think um you know um I don't know how to say um shots different different abilities to play tennis so it's I think it's nice also to have short people playing tennis come on guys it's nice lastly Jasmine at Wimbledon we all got to know one member of your team really well it was your mom she was front row on her feet living and dying by every point you said that she's not coming here to New York is she that excited at home on the couch and do you want to send a message to her before you leave I think she has jet leg you know because when when I played in the night the first round she was she sent me a message after the match so they're following even in the night I don't know how they do but they do maybe because they love me I love them too no um yeah my mom uh became famous in wiim she's a man I think you know um yeah I just want to say to her but also to my father because if not it's jealous a little bit that I love them I love my brother I love my family so one kiss for them amazing well Jasmine Pini we will see you in the fourth round well done
