Alex Albon Dutch F1 Race Interview

hey Alex uh I know you obviously had it all to do after yesterday's disqualification just talk me through how that race unfolded and how you feel about things yes um sorry having a think um it was okay it was a a bit of um trying to do a comeback in some ways trying to make up for obviously the unfortunate result yesterday uh we gave it a go we tried a different strategy tried to to do stuff other cars weren't doing um we got covered by other cars in front so um got the undercut on a few cars and then at the same time got stuck behind a lot of cars as well during the stint so we never really showed any true Pace um yeah that's that was pretty much the race it was a bit disappointing obviously the Silver Lining from the weekend is is the cars quick I think even in moments in the race when I had clean air the pace was strong but I didn't have many clean laps in in the race um but yeah you know that boes well for mon a track that we are normally pretty strong at I'll be interested to see if we're still as strong this year but um yeah that's uh that's what we got you mentioned the kind of high points I think you set the fastest lap at one point on the hard tire there must have been periods in that race where you felt really really strong yes I I was I was feeling I was feeling good um but yeah you know if we started where we should have if we started p8 I I think we would have scored um some good points today instead um our rival aling scored them points so a double whammy does that hurt even more because you could have got points today yeah right thanks Alex
