Commanders Trade DT John Ridgeway To The Saints. Mike Sainristil Wearing Number 0 + More!

yo what's up guys it's King Sean here and we have some breaking news here per Adam schfer the Washington commanders are sending defensive tackle John Ridgeway to the New Orleans Saints per sources so yesterday it was reported that we are shopping John Ridgeway he did make the initial 53 man roster but a lot of people knew that that wasn't probably not going to last long because we're still shopping him we're still trying to trade him and we just did to the Saints the compensation update we are trading John Ridgeway in a 20257 round pick to the Saints four the Saints is 2025 six round pick so that's not bad compensation for a guy like Ridgeway um obviously rway he has been really good for us over the past two years in 2022 we picked him up I want to say around week three of the 2022 season and since then he's been really good um he's been a really good run stopper um doesn't do much in the pass push game but he's a really good run stoer you can call him kind of a nose tackle he was really good in last week's Patriots game you know that kind of you could say boosted his value a little bit because he was really good against the Patriots I think he earned like an 80 or 85 overall PFF grade which is really freaking good but we do decide to keep federan mattisse over ridy which I don't necessarily mind I mean I feel like rid is better than Mattis but mattisse was really good against the Patriots and has been really good over the entirety of the preseason but I just like Ridgeway over Mattis because Ridgeway has shown more than Mattis over the past two years and you know Mattis just hasn't shown a lot but you know wish the best of luck to ridway he's an absolute dog he's a beast um you know he's been like I said really good these past two years um he's going to be reunited with Chase young over there in New Orleans so that's pretty good right there and like I said the competition isn't bad you're not going to get a lot for a guy like John Ridge although I feel like he's good um I know their starting defensive tackle over there is Brian brci uh they have another defensive tackle as well so you know R is going to be a good rotational piece over there for New Orleans so you're not going to get a lot for a guy like him but getting a six round pick for him is is definitely not bad at all so wishing for the best for John ridway I know he's going to do some good things this trade does open up a roster spot we are down to 52 men on the roster so we could sign another guy uh we could sign a guy like wide receiver Noah Brown I would love if we signed him um he would I feel like could kind of upgrade our receiving cord he had backtack 500 yard receiving seasons one with the Cowboys and then last year with the Texans he actually had like two really good games um with the Texans last year so I would not mind bringing him in at all I know Terence Marshall Jr he just got signed by the 49ers so that's pretty interesting AEK replacement uh who knows but you know that's probably cap uh but overall you know the trade it's not a bad trade uh John ridway like I said wish him the best of luck and hopefully he does some good things down there in New Orleans and then finally before I end off today's video Mikey Sanders still he's going back to number zero which is awesome Marcus Mariota he had to come off that number zero I'm sorry you cannot you are a backup quarterback wearing an elite number like number zero that number deserved to go to Mikey Sanders still and he has it now Frozone is back uh that's kind of his nickname in college I'm bringing it over to the NFL which is awesome so uh super happy Mike Sanders still he's back in that zero super excited to see you know how he can kind of elevate this defense this year I think he's going to be a great Nickelback slot quarterback I feel like in a year or two he's going to be considered as one of if not the best slot quarterback in the entire NFL Nick Sav said himself Mikey Sanders still the best pound-for-pound player in the entire draft so super excited to watch Sanders still and then finally we announced that we placed 12 players on the practice squad running back casmer Allen will running back wide receiver casmer Allen quarterback Chien Nome guard Julian good Jones QB Sam Hartman defensive end Andre Jones defensive tackle Hagi I'm just going to call him hagy n cuz I cannot pronounce his uh last name uh running back Chris Rodriguez Jr uh wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley wide receiver Bryson train tight end Cole Turner kind of a shock right there uh defensive end Carlo Watkins and then running back Michael wace so those are all the players we um placed on the practice squad I think we placed um a linebacker on our practice squad as well as well as a
