A Wednesday Night At Disneyland Eating Halloween Foods & Doing Rides After Dark / Weekdays At Disney

welcome everyone Adam the woo here as the recording of this Wednesday September 4th 20124 still staying here at the Disneyland Hotel I have decided to take a little late afternoon early evening dip into Disneyland don't know if I'll go to DCA but I have a reservation for Disneyland it's about 5:30 p.m. it's very been very warm here in SoCal so I figured during the day actually hit the pool pool hopped in the hot tub for just a moment or two but that was a little toasty spent some time in the pool today had a kind of a relaxing day time and now the evening is about to rear its head figured go to the park I'm inviting you to join me shall you it's been a really nice day at the Disney Vacation Club Tower I'm here for a couple more days and then I have to switch hotels again to another place here in Soca and then after that I'm going to be departing SoCal going elsewhere and then after there a few days going back home for a few days and then back out here for like another 10 days that's a a lot going on but yeah I'm still here for a little while Downtown Disney was a little little crowded little elbow to Elbow Room trying to get through there sometimes it's like you uh definitely have to zigzag back and forth there 10 minutes till 6:00 now heading in I need to get some coffee and and uh kind of just see where the the evening leads I really have no game plan it's a no game plan night to Disneyland here I leave today enter the world of yesterday tomorrow and fantasy Snow White scary Adventure start towards Mr Toad's Wild Ride and runaway Railway posters in here oh there's Pluto look there's Pluto walking right down the middle of Main Street USA woo that Sun is bright but it will be setting soon this is kind of the last short frame while the the sun is out but it is permeating right now it's also looking at the weight times they aren't too terribly bad but a little inflated something because there's a couple things that are down at the moment that are not open at the moment and usually when a few rides are down usually the other attractions end up having a much longer line this this one not included I'm just showing this because they revamped it and I love the tree house yeah it's looking like rise is down now Mansion is a virtual queue this is kind of late in the day I don't know if I'm going to get any a mansion it also looks like Indiana Jones is down big Thunder's down so the 15 minutes there is for the riverbat with the one next to it Big Thunder is currently down at the moment you go up here Roger Rabbit is currently down so yeah quite Space Mountain is still under refurb but everything else looks not moderately not too bad but you know it's busy and there's not a lot of attractions to choose from when autopia is 50 minutes at 6:00 p.m. on a weekday all I decided I had a coffee earlier I'm not going to get a coffee I'm going to go over here to Tiana's Palace and meet up with a pal how you doing buddy oh temp tracker is here as well it's me yes hello you recommended do you want to admit julip and I said all right I didn't actually recommended it was the first thing that came to mind cuz I was looking at it yeah and I said let's go get it all right let's do it you think he's ever had a m Julet yeah think so positive Lou Louis Louis I'm thinking of Jungle Book King Louie King Louie yeah different animal yeah okay different similar name different animal different continent you know they have a seasonal mint jeup in here what flavor is it I don't know I always get the traditional but I have one maybe I'll get a strawberry mint Jew okay I don't know if that's a thing strawberry and minat go together though they kind of do they really do what do you mean kind of that's perfect that's like peanut butter and jelly right that's a good point is it better than peanut butter and jelly though no no nothing's better than peanut butter jelly all right so the mint jeup line outside is pretty lengthy but you can also get a mint Jew if you go in the restaurant and there's really not a lot of people in the restaurant so let's try this hack let's go in the restaurant try to get the mint julip in here mango peach jeup accomplished usually I get the regular mint Jewel but I try something a little bit different I went with the mango peach and you can't get them inside Tio Tiana's restaurant you have to go to the mint jewet bar away from me I'm trying to like I don't know what I'm trying to do you're doing great proud of you I appreciate it you look great Sun bright Sun Sun's very bright very bright trying to stay out of the sun my nose is burned will you drink it already Okay going in that you ever say anything when you drink stuff oh that's good is I'd say that's good but I mean like when you if you're like you know like over the river and down the hch you ever SE like that that doesn't taste anything like a V tastes a little minty so by by the name but wait what do you not say anything you have like a phrase like Bottoms Up cheers Bottoms Up from the top to the bottom from the bottom to the top it's time for New Orleans Square to get it and drop honestly that's really refreshing I'm not really super into Peach flavored things but I like the combination of everything in there very freshing okay I've decided to go on Pirates it said 20 minute wait looks like it's probably pretty accurate might even be probably pretty accurate probably 20 minute wait it be here only 19 minutes that sun is just right there in my face right there on my camera Pirates the Caribbean like 15 people just walked in front of us yeah people keep cutting in front of us that's fine that all part of the [Music] experience front row look at this look at how wet is here it's well there's a drop there's a couple drops there's two drops two drops there's two drops who put two drops in this ride unlike our version of Walt Disney World which is like a a speed bump what are they got to do go underne yeah what do they got to do go underneath the railroad tracks or something out here what are you talking about do they have to go under the over the railroad TR under the railroad Tru under it' be weird if they went over you'd see it it's water get under the railway track is that one last thing there's a gator in here by the way a real one oh a fake Gator show it to you okay hold on are you sure it's up here on the left well you can find it yourself but it's up here on the left look at this in the low light right there right there look there it is he got green eyes you ever know there was a gator there to I did yeah okay well shoot you see how tiny this boat is it's one of the Mike Fink boats is it no it looks like one looks like it doesn't it a keel boat yeah someone keeled over in that one greater about this attraction is a boat go up the waterfall and then there's one well I guess technically there's three drop there's another drop right here a little small drop as you're getting off one Park I didn't buy Park Hoppers you don't have you don't have an annual pass out here no I haven't been here in two years annual pass would not suit you then no makes makes sense welcome back thank you we've decided to go in Mickey and Minnie's runaway Railway in the queue great CU really good CU a lot of different uh the history of toontown's Hometown Theater like they had the big pair of scissors and the ribbon from the ribbon cutting and the first color film shown at El Capon was flowers and trees right there is the real and a hot dog look at that the first hot dog ever cooked at the elcon on its opening day do not eat man I never noticed this before but I believe that that is the official prop from Mickey's plane crazy right up there it's plane crazy the ha that plane is haunted really never seen Mickey Mouse in the movie fiddling around I need to I need to see if that's on Disney plus the ghosts are here there ghost you were right I thought you just made that up that's pretty cool this is a the way all cues should be done just a great queue sorcerer is thrown has a lot of books on it also there is the bean stock down there look at that it's like the bean Stock's going through the roof it's like poking up through the roof still waiting for this go oh a ghost just touched me uh elevator to my backside oh there you are there's this one Mickey Mouse in little Whirlwind which is basically the precursor to Twisters more or less but there's a closeup of the uh the of the what is that thing called beanock bean stock right there I will say out of all the new Mickey Mouse shorts out of all the new ones this is my favorite potato land is the best Mickey short in my opinion I love potato land potato you ever notice that in the new Mickey shorts the new version Mickey it's kind of Ren and Stimpy S Type animation yeah Mickey is kind of a psychopath kind of crazy he's a he's not he's a littleit he's a little bit unhinged right there he makes Donald look sane I don't know why they're going that route but yeah highly recommend looking up potato it's like a 15minute 15-minute little short episode but but I recommend potato land what do you point smoke comes out of the middle of the screen so it's almost like the screen explodes and all the smoke comes out of it it's kind of a cool effect similar here the Q here is definitely way different than than Florida's but once you get to this point it's pretty much exactly the same couple differences on the ride actually you know what we don't have in Florida we don't have the the tunnel that they go through at the end there's a tunnel no tunnel and then after the dance scene and all it's all different directions after the dance scene yeah our dance scene exits up into the left yours exg is back to the right you say yours I live in I live in Florida okay well this one well I'm here more I think of you as a Californian we're getting definitely a different experience where we're going to get off over here around behind the backage and evidently this is where they store you can see where they pull in this is all uh this is all trackless Pull It in over here so they loaded Tim on the back of this cart but this is the regular Cube we get kind of a different uh different uh different view than before they're going to have us get off right over here they need somebody to sit in the back of this one so we I think at some point I might start collecting some items that have this little bird you know this bird's name chuby chuby I think I'm going to start collecting some chuby stuff did you know that goofy was in the sky he's a he's a he loves the specials Madness The Toasters The Toasters that's a moon SCA th that's a moon SCA reference there yeah this skankin he's a he's a skankin pickle pickle remember skank mustard PL mustard yeah you know your uh you know your SCA nice name Franken skank Franken skank isn't that a great SCA name wow I would this there was a band at my high school named Franken K so this is a chwy yeah so I feel like I can get all this in Orlando though so I shouldn't really buy any of this here but I like he's cute he's a comp ition for the orange bird I mean he is an orange bird it's true he's probably a direct reference to the orange bird do you know what the orange Bird's special power is Vitamin C no he can make can't make any noise yeah but he can make a orange Cloud appear above his head and he can draw anything are you making that up no this is literally the orange Bird's special power okay I didn't know that yeah what's Chu's special power being $75 I think CH for a handbag I think chuby can lay eggs he juggles his own children's eggs I think it makes makes them hurt love that there's a train going around the top of over that's a great gift shop that's a doodle B that's a Doodle Bug train yeah see look Doodle Bug model train okay nice Huey Dewey and Louie which one's which uh just go around one of those correct these bubble blowers I think awesome Tim you want to try the bubble blower frighten it a little bit oh look at that Tim loves bubbles it moves back and forth too Diego Tim loves bubbles you should let him try it can you let Tim try it I would be okay behind you want to try it Tim go Tim go you love Bubbles this is a magic moment I'm going to buy you one of those oh that should do it slower oh it's making noises thank you now you don't you don't find that magical it was magical it's fun when you one blowing the bubbl yeah I'm like changing my tune on bubbles going around there I feel like I want to buy one of those for you I don't think they sell they don't sell oh that they they about the doodle B no no sell the they sell the bubble thing I can't have one of those in might go get a slice of pizza or maybe some pasta get a little view here this does look pretty magical at night I'm not the hugest advocate of going on this attraction I'm not it's not my favorite I'll do it on occasion but I do enjoy looking at it from the outside no monreal right now though still down really is an enjoyable evening out it's been very hot in Southern California but when the Sun goes down it's very pleasant very pleasant out here sound of like you named like two different songs Just then very pleasant is a song time it's always it's been very hot in in Southern California Sounds like a s it does I don't know if it's been a while since I walked around here at night at Space Mountain looking all beautiful I wish that was open Rocket rods rocket rods people mover what are the odds of people move will ever come back to Disneyland 0% 0% says Tim s prove me wrong Bob which Bob all of them oh all the Bobs every single bob every bob every Bob needs to prove timrock I'm noticing Space Mountain now last time I walked by here I seem to remember they had a construction wall up I'm surprised they not doing ghost I don't know why I'm like showing the sign from like over here but surprised they're not doing ghost Galaxy for the hall Halloween season I thought ghost Galaxy is like a cool little thing but the walls are down that's good news that it's going to reopen at some point in the very near future all there are now are just little uh little small partition stanions down there maybe that's good uh good thing sign of things to come it just says there are no rocket launches today but visit other Tomorrowland attractions like pizza for Pizza Planet Pizza Planet all right we got a plethora of goodness of the food persuasion I usually I like to eat outside over there around that little Corridor by the queue of Space Mountain but because Space Mountain is doing a little under construction we have chosen to sit over here between the two of us we got a few different items this is the Halloween item yeah this is the Dark Matter Pizza uh tomato sauce dipped in mozz wait topped with mozzarella cheese spicy Italian sausage roasted mushrooms and black olives yeah this is also the Halloween pasta this is the blush Pasta Italian sausage with Chef choice of pasta top with spicy blush sauce and garnished with tomato relish I like that you know all that I'm just reading it off the screen oh you're reading it yeah I got regular pepperoni and you got one of the last three of the Halloween this is the alien Buzz macaron filled with berries and cream instead of they usually have chocolate in it man I I didn't I thought you knew all that from from heart no it's here oh you're reading it you're reading off the side okay I got you spoiler alert I'm go in on some dark matter Pizza what' you say was on this sausage to uh mushrooms and black olives I think it's got some spice to it a spicy Italian sausage is it spicy not really okay maybe it's just regular it's really good though is it those things all sound like they would taste good together it's not bad pretty all right pretty okay down now for the spicy everything Halloween time has to be spicy because it's more Evo only 10 minute away for Jungle Cruise so we're going to head over and go through the rivers of the Jungle and look at the backside of water at night which you might not be able to see it at night though because it's it's night time and water does not is not seeable no not under the Moonlight only in the sun can never see water ever at night yep that's true it's actually a bit a a terrible thing that happens through throughout Society it's like at night you can't see water yeah it's like so when you when you ever take a shower at night and then you're like I can't see the water how do you do it an archaeological Pig site you will see a tiger now they told me that's a Himalayan Tiger but come on give a standing these ruins Rock and Rubble yeah some Stak and statue on the right more Rubble then of course these beautiful upright concrete things I always forget what you call them that was a good one oh the column yeah column we are entering the elephant bathing pool this is where
