Exploring the neighborhood [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] oh yeah [Music] [Music] Downtown Huntsville [Music] [Music] Up to "Lion's Lookout"... with beer! [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] he [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Applause] [Music] Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary [Music] they're very when we first get here good have a leg [Music] [Music] [Music] they are very smart they know all their favorite people um she's partway through her color change right now okay um so that's why she's looking like half gray half white you can see the white chunks of fur yeah that's all her winter coat coming out winter and then this CS to keep a bit cooler in the summer uh but the secondary reason they do it is also for camouflage so that's what happened that Silver's owners um so this one's the female the male somewhere in here um his owners did surrender him around a year old when that started happening um so that's good oh yeah I smell it now and then uh Lexi came from the same zoo that the the Wolves came from like um so these are all red foxes so you can see how different they can look when they're bread and the colors that you can get um High candle the uh silver foxes does occur naturally so you will see silver foxes running around in the wild um but this is not common uh or no but do they realize there's a barrier between them yeah they must because they uh they're pretty territorial foxes are um and that's like the fence is the their territory order right um in the wild they would choose their own territory and they'd mark it and here we defend it um so that could be a little what's going on pretty light a typical red fox would be very red very red yeah very red or very Orange um so this like light white color is so unnatural but your beautiful flame yes yes you're gorgeous lady hi Timber it's actually mother and son come on over yeah this is Chance hi chance hi where's Willow so you can see them up close how big they are um so he's a younger guy as well so he will still grow this year they'll grow to their about five okay um so he that's a brother of the the white one that you saw in the front and then Willow who's in here chance boy where's Willow um Willow's the one who's kind of hi Timber hi buddy Willow's the one who uh kind of decided that she wanted to be in charge okay uh which is why they're all separate all right but it's it's okay they all get along they're happy they're next to each other amazing Tim you're wonderful so Timber is like the biggest one um you see like the big fur around the neck but he'll s grow a little bit more now from their hibernation still um but we're just fixing it so they'll be able to get together soon um so this is Clyde he is a male black bear we'll probably see a bear feeding um at least I hope we do cuz they're pretty uh fun are the kind of bear we have three bears in Canada but black bears are the only bear that uh exists in Ontario yeah um hi handsome boy were you swimming this morning you're all wet yeah so you can see he's younger yeah absolutely he's more spry and um he's actually not full grown he's get she gets some medication as well um which is also why she gets fed from the bowl M there you go you go eat it girl um and she's obsessed with the food dishes uh it's actually hard to get those silver bowls back from her she takes them and she puts them in her dens and she doesn't like to return them um so once in a while we have to like go on a little Mission and get them [Music] back hi Ella so she's a female uh moose uh so no antlers and she's been here since she was a baby as well uh normally like because they uh captivity is so hard on them if they can't be released we would normally euthanize them um but Ella's been raised here and she can kind of help us with a couple other things like she can be a bit of a foster mom for us for other moose so she eats all plants um we bring her she can graze in here and eat whatever she wants and then we also bring her uh tree branches every day and they chew and chew and chew andw [Music] yeah right Ella and even though she's a herbivore um we say she's the most dangerous animal here which is true good good grass um but yeah they definitely are smart enough to know their names and then they're smart enough to know who's who also okay um so different animals have different relationships with different people um one part about captivity that's uh not so great is uh she doesn't have access to moving water so she has her big pond but in the wild they would go into streams and that's how their feet would get trimmed down okay um but if you see her feet uh she can't have that so A faer actually has to come uh two times a year and fix her feet for her come here you got your little elf shoes on she's due for a fairer visit so uh yeah if you can see them if she walks over come here yeah hi good morning did you have a good evening maybe like always live the Moose Dream well um just they have shorter fur where you can see she's losing it also which is pretty funny so this is the male Jinx and then this is the female jica hi boy handsome man good morning we disrupted you guys from some kind of Mischief oh yeah see they like to pee to spray Markus territory okay bye how they say hello okay yeah so this is the female jarica you going to pee on us too yep of course of course he peed so she has to pee and they pee on their scratcher so that's where they like scratch their face and stuff too so so funny right animals funny funny animals [Music]
