Manny two home runs tonight you've now tied the Padres franchise record for most home runs in a Padre's uniform what does having that honor mean to you I mean it's it's it's a great honor you know it's such short short period of time San Diego and uh you know to be up there in the leaderboards and uh you know be a part of history is always uh you know pretty special offensively for you right now why are you so locked in I don't know just feeling good body's feeling good team's playing good um you know up up up up up and down the lineup you know we're all doing uh you know we're doing our part so makes it easier when you when you go up there to the play to just uh be yourself and do some damage and you know then the comfort of our pitching staff going up there and doing their job and getting punches keeping us in the game keeping us in The Dugout to hit um you know it's been huge for us yeah your team has been the hottest since the All-Star break in all of baseball what makes this team so special I mean I don't know I don't know I mean I've been I've been asked that quite a bit um but uh I don't know man it's just different it's just different it's we got a good good team you know everyone's pulling from each other we're all pulling on the same road and uh you know when you do that as a team like as an organization everyone pulling for each other everyone's pulling for each other in The Dugout when they're when they're up too bad when they're pitching when they're not um you know special you know especially our bench I mean I think our our bench has been one of the best benches in the league and um it's been huge for us to uh you know to keep that energy in the Dugout every single day and just go out there and have fun you know we're enjoying ourselves we're playing a great game we're playing a kids game and uh you know we're just going to continue to enjoy it what makes San Diego such a great place to play I don't know these fans these fans I mean it's been great Friday night this whole homee we've had a soldout crowd all day um you know it's good to come to a ballpark every night knowing that the crowd's going to be behind us and they're going to give us that energy whenever we're a little down or even if we're down in a game um that they're going to give us opportunity to you know get get that energy from them to go out there and put on a show for them all right thanks Manny congratulations thank you thank you back to you Wayne good win for the Padres tonight a great night for Manny Machado two home runs tied for the most in franchise history and the Padre's feeling good about how they're playing here in M 5-1 the final we will be back with more in just a moment [Music]
