On what the win meant to him you know we always say execution RS em motion and when you have a success like that you're emotional appreciate our fans we knew right where they were going to be I showed the players I showed the whole football program and said this is right where our fans are going to be this is exactly what the stadium is so we knew right where to go and we appreciate our fans and traveling from all over the country it's just a proud moment man Sometimes youo the best happens in the second half you go for Fourth down decisions the fourth and one you go for it again and and you reference the the field goal at the end of the game I mean you're you're making decisions as if you have no fear about the repercussions of it is that kind of what this team and what this program is trying to become and what it is yeah we want to be aggressive we want to be attacking um if I tell our group that we want to be aggressive and attacking I have to do that way as a coach and you got live but sometimes on Fourth and two you didn't get it um I felt confident that we could get it um I made a decision and um and that's where we did it but I don't want to play cautious I want to be smart we have a plan going into the game and this was our plan hey if it was one yard at this situation we're going for two yards at this situation we going for it um but I want to be aggressive but also smart and what was your plan with with scorland I Plan for A&M defensive end Nic Scourton mean you pretty much you have did a good job against him they tried to rush him against Wagner what was your plan to to keep him under lefts wasn't a specific plan for him um it was a you know in certain situations where we use seven man Pro um instead of just five and and six yeah but you know our guys battle they're D line Ma and play we're really good man uh I said that after the game I don't know if it probably be the best we see um but our guys battle young guys that haven't been out there and I was proud of I saw one time Sam missed the block and and this guy made the play he was able to refocus and and understand that was last play man let's refocus we have confidence in you go out there and do it and and uh it was a a great growing moment for this this offens Thoughts on Riley Leonard called Ry Leonard a winner so I wonder what what kind of conversations did you have with him on the sideline especially in the fourth quarter did he tell you hey I'm get Mar Le I mean he's a competitor he is a comp he wants the ball on his hands you know put his shoulder down he got a got a bruise on his head his I mean he took some hits but he's competitor once the ball in his hands and I got a lot of confidence in a guy like r at the end of the game put the B his hands to make good decisions and uh lead this offense to Big right
