I guess last night worked range wise played well today yeah it was better I still uh was nice to finish off with two two big putts there uh in the kind of pretty dark out so happy with those two to go in keep some momentum uh from what was a pretty pretty good round so still those two left balls uh pretty far left on uh 16 17 or make me want to go ride to the range right now don't um did I know it's just a Friday is there any part of of the felt any any pressure to have a good one today to keep it from getting too far away yeah absolutely I mean I played with Scott yesterday so it's uh this course right now with How firm firm the greens are it's a it's a ball striking ball striking type deal uh you have to be in the fairways and hit your hit your number and he's been killing everyone at that all year so uh I knew he was he's not going to let up so there's only one way to get him you seemed like you were uh you really dialed in with the putter today it was better yeah I mean I puted poorly yesterday so called it a didn't feel that bad over the putter yesterday just missed one putt inside 6 feet and then kind of brushed a couple by The Edge so uh it was nice to see some balls go in how would you describe the challenge of trying to reel in Scotty Sheffer with halfway at the halfway point with him having a significant leag yeah it's uh it's it's really up to him to be honest I mean he's I have to play out of my beep uh to to to sniff so shooting you know being two back and then shooting one under yesterday and him shooting the low round of the day is is just not it's just not the start I needed so um a sense of urgency today to try and pick some up he's probably going to birdie or have a good look at chipping in there on the last and um I may end up right where I started so uh just got to keep my head down how'd you play 18 can you get to the green from where you were I I hit a five iron and tried to play up kind of to the front edge where Adam Scott hit it was a really good spot you know you can putter chip It Whatever whatever you like and um kind of got on top of it and hooked it left off that slope so if you get in the bunkers it's kind of okay actually the angle lets you just kind of dump it down the green and run to the hole but in the Fairway there it was it's nice you can kind of get under the ball but it wasn't a great spot to sort of hit it close I should say you have to really clip it seem to put a lot of importance on that par put on 17 yeah it was just uh it was a kind of narrow window I I knew I wanted to hit it over the green you know got got that first job done and then kind of hit a laish chip really landed kind of half and half I was trying to land it just on or into the hill and it kind of landed right in the middle and shot up the hill you know can't it's pretty obvious how it's going to react which is nice um hit a bad chip and then was able to make a really nice putt score is a score but is there a part of you that that um feels like you can't make a bogey I mean I was looking bogey straight in the eye there on 17 so I mean I had to play a putt that broke about 2 feet downhill in the you know darkish weather so it was uh it's not one I want to hit again I can tell you that thanks guys way to play your ass
