this year in Indiana in fact benl has been long in athletic she runs the floor she's a nice compliment to aiyah Boston right now and Nelissa Smith coming off the bench definitely provides some depth nurse off F can't get it to go and Caitlyn Clark pulls down her first rebound and she will immediately launch it ahead Wallace finds some space and this is on a three always have to be ready for that outlet pass here is Clark she will launch and bury a three you can't get tired of watching that she hit a couple of lasers late in that fourth quarter in Los Angeles to help deliver Indiana that mark on her first free throw Mitchell was pivotal to in that and Caitlyn Clark can speak to her today you know she's still not 100% from that ankle that she turned a background that's still back court that's still working on their chemistry here's the number two pick Cameron Brink dialing up a three I mean Cameron Brink has been so impressive because we know she can block shot she's leading the league in that category her three-point range has improved and she's been impressive early on we got some good rookies right here tonight three the top four picks in the draft on the floor right now as Clark gets it to Boston first Indiana comes up with the turnover that's something that plagued Los Angeles on Friday Mitchell too strong on a three spks have trouble have had some trouble taking care of the ball and a blocking foul that time on you really have three starters in the back court or in the front court for Indiana because Melissa Smith benle and Boston are all capable Los Angeles American Conference Hall of Fame this weekend for his work at Bowling Green yes great time there from 2001 to 2012 actually he's the first women's basketball coach taken into the Big 10 as well pressing up Jackson driving on Wallace bounce pass into the corner swing it McDonald misses on a three a loose ball foul going against no one else on the fever has scored more than three points here in the first half BR sees the double kick out Jackson Jackson f can't get that three ball to go but the rebound to [Applause] Brink here's Jackson has the size advantage and just Bulls through Wallace now and Wheeler misses on a three we able to pull down the rebound they got to get it over and they just do aving the 8sec violation talet way outside she's a sharp shooter but not from from there and be able to track it down in the corner shot clock down to five did not hit the rim does McDonald see it he does gets rid of it and hits a three LA's offense has seemed a little out of sorts but they've hit some really timely shots here in the third quarter and the Sparks back within one I mean this is how good the league is right I mean it's a two possession game and when you look at La they have four losses by an average of Five Points or two possessions that's how close their games have been that's how good they've been able to hang in in a late game situation and another triple quick off the bounce too you got to give her a little bit of a cushion but not that much space what a resilient answer here from Kurt Miller's group as Mitchell leaves a three ball short it was a two for one opportunity that's a tough shot to take dangerous pass but it found its way to hand so that's a combination that has worked for Indiana B got her arrest but they also lost that lead with Clark knot on the floor that's the point right you you need her on the court you got to give her a rest but you also need her on the floor it's a balance for Coach sides Samuels in a deep three I mean a Melissa Smith back in how about the second half for K Mur she is really competed make some shots make some timely three they hit six threes in the second half yeah you got to throw it in in there that's a foul if you don't throw it in there they may not call going to get some minutes here down the stretch Mitchell off the double screen H clock down to five Smith going to have to create into Hami off balance FPS it up shot well short there's benley with the offensive rebound and a fresh 14 Clark lows by McDonald pass got deflected and turned over that's a couple times maybe Clark has over penetrated turned it over [Applause] McDonald straight on three you can't go under that turnovers and they've given up 12 triples the story right now is defending the three-point line Sparks have not been a great three-point shooting team this year but they have been tonight that's a blocking foul to [Music] go eight triples in the second half for La some big shots from the three-point line in the third quarter when it looked like the fever might start to run away with it a little bit going to had an 110 run to start the quarter Mitchell bouncing back to back benley shot clocked down to seven and Indiana turns it over some miscommunication Ary McDonald with the steel and the finish and just like that it's a 10-point lead for the Sparks 90 run for Los Angeles does Indiana have a final run in them you got to get to the other side right here got to move it Mark seeing double Austin shot clock down to five hounded by Brink and the fever turn it over again times in the bench for La played breaks down this pressure weer opting to play defense here McDonald rattles out Boston lost it but benley tracks it down still a seven-point game 40 seconds to go as there's some Clark magic Clark way for deer Hami she's had of them six games to open up the season calmly knocks down the first inbound wheeler looking for Clark they get it to her and Clark is fouled by nurse five going to have to foul but you wanted to try to get a steal or a trap if you can first 27 on no difference between shot clock and game clock so if we were going to need some steals here some misses at the foul line
