Dillon Gabriel Talks About Financial Red Flags

[Music] hi everyone Dylan Gabriel Here the season kicks off today and I'm hoping we don't see too many flags on the field before we get the season started I want to talk about a different kind of flag Financial red flags I talked to my friends at United Community Credit Union to find out what are the financial red flags to watch out for to avoid making bad money decisions the first red flag calculating whether you have enough money in the bank or available credit before making a purchase if it'll make funds that tight you should walk away another red flag trying to justify a purchase to others if you're afraid to tell people around you about a financial decision it's probably not a good one third red flag not thinking about the impact of the purchase buying something you can't afford now with a credit card and having no plan to pay for it is a big money misstep the fourth and final red flag depending on a payment you haven't received yet don't spend money you don't have in Merc could come up and you'd be out of luck when you've already spent money you are counting on we'll go a little deeper on how to prepare for an emergency when I'm back in a couple weeks I'll see you then and I hope you see me on the field today [Music]
