Astros Beat Nationals Mauricio Dubon Hits HR And Jose Abreu Hits RBI Single Astros Postgame!

Houston Sports Talk for another video today and today the Houston Astros beat the Washington Nationals and the series opener six to one amazing win for the Astros today really impressed with the way the shows play today and this one as they hit the ball amazing pitch well Hunter Brown was amazing seven shutout innings for Hunter brown with only giving up four hits tonight uh one of the best on in my opinion I thought we saw one of the best performances Hunter Brown has shown us this season the hitting was well tonight the Astros hit four home runs and the Astros were crushing some some balls today and not only that everybody was hidden well in the lineup I mean the only there was only two players in the lineup that did not have a hit today and surprisingly uh two hitters that have been really hot recently janer Diaz and Jake Myers are the only two players that did not well Jake wires at Jake Myers I think had like two walks but uh well I think I'm pretty sure Myers did have two walks but he did not have uh any hits and so those were the only two two players in this lineup from one to nine that did not that did not have a hit everybody else seven hitters had a hit in this ball game Astros did really well let's go over the game for today six six final score six to one nine hits for the shroes six for the Washington Nationals uh zero errors in this ball game when goes to Hunter Brown six and three on the season seven Innings seven shutout Innings four strikeouts three walks um loss goes to Patrick Corbin he's he goes to four and seven on the season five innings two earned runs five strikeouts five walks scoring summary for the Astros the Astros get it started in the fifth inning with two home runs in the fifth inning starts with Mauricio dubon he hits his third home run of the season a home run to the left and it is one to zero then in the fifth inning Kyle Tucker hits a home run to right crushes won 399 feet and Kyle Tucker Hits his ninth home run of the season and it's two to zero then the seventh inning Martin Maldonado home run to left 372 feet his fourth of the season and it's 3-0 but it might have been his fourth home run of his seat of the season but his 100th career home run really nice milestone for Martin Maldonado right there hitting his 100th home run in the seventh inning but then the Astros keep it going in the seventh inning after maldi's home run eventually uh in the seventh dubon would ground out Altuve would walk bregman would single altuvet a second Tucker would strike out but Jose Abreu comes clutch for the Astros after a really good series against the Guardians had six RBIs and two home runs Jose ibrahu starts off this series with an RBI single to right Altuve scored bregman to third four to zero Jose Avery who did really solid a night with a single and a double uh so two for three for Bree who but an RBI single for brihu and it's zero to four and then Luis Garcia and RBI single to Center in the eighth inning and no Astros fans use these currency Luis Garcia is not recovered from from his his Tommy John surgery and switch teams in the lost to the to the Washington Nationals they have a player named Luis Garcia as well second baseman Luis Garcia singled the center Thomas scored and it's one to four so that is in the eighth inning and I know when I said Luis Garcia some of you MLB at some of you Astros fans who don't really care about the Nationals probably thought I was talking about our pitcher but it was one to four and that was the only run the national score today on the Luis Garcia RBI single uh to score Thomas and it is one to four but then in the eighth inning the Astros hit their fourth and last home run of the night chess McCormick home runs to left he hits a home run to left Center 392 feet his sixth home run of the Season it is one to five then Jose Altuve scores uh sorry then in the eighth inning the Astros continue to keep it going Jake Myers would get a walk and then Jake Myers would steal a base and then I think you know Devon didn't do anything maybe dubon was hit by pitch or something I'm not sure because it says Dupont literally did nothing in the in or the eighth inning that was the eighth inning so the bomb lined out and Jose Altuve comes up hits a single and Jake's on Jake's score so Altuve RBI single to left Myers scored and it is one to six that's for that was altuve's first RBI since Memorial Day hit that grand slam on um he hit that grand slam on Memorial Day and it's it's been a couple weeks until two base had an RBI I mean this was it's only a seventh RBA of the Season I'll I'll tube has been really solid for us um in the limited time he's played this season but only seven RBIs and in the limited time he's played and and four of them came on one hit with a grand slam so um out of his RBIs has only been three hits or four hits because he had a RBI Singh he had an RBI single um in his first rvi then had the Grands then sorry he had he had a he had an RBI single then he had a solo home run in Oakland then the Grand Slam and now this RBI single so has seven RBIs but no and only four hits but Altuve with only his seventh RBA this season for the last score for the Astros and that would be the final score one to six let's go over the uh individual batters for the ads for today Maurice Devon went one for five uh hit a home run in the fifth inning but besides that dubon that was it for dubon today he's been hitting really well but only hit a home run tonight uh going one for five Altuve was one for three did have two walks a fifth inning and a seventh inning walk and then the RBI single in the eighth inning but then then he he um he ultimately tried to bunt in the third inning but grounded out to pitcher and then struck out in the first so Altuve going one for three in this ball game with two walks Alex bregman had a first inning walk uh first base runner for the Astros in this game but then also had the first hit of the game for the Astros in the third inning with his single had another single in the seventh inning for to get all two of it a second and that was it for Alex today so two singles for Alex in the seventh and third inning in a walk so two for four for brege with a walk Kyle Tucker one for three in this ball game with his home run did have a walk as well third inning walk that got bregman to Second and then a fifth inning home run and Tucker went one for three that home run had to feel really good for Tucker it's been a while since he he's had a home run two for three for Jose Abreu in this game he also had a walk for the Astros no I don't think that's really surprising it feels it feels like everybody's been getting well I mean the only guy that I haven't been through in the lineup that hasn't walked is Dupont so Altuve had a walk had he had multiple walks bregman had a walk Tucker had a walk and now so did abrahu and he had a he had a second ending double okay so bregman single wasn't the first hit of the game everybody who hit his second inning double to Center and then Abri who walked in the third inning now the answer didn't score and he runs into the third inning but this was a walk to load the bases up and then you grounded out to second in the fifth inning and then hit a RBI single in the seventh inning so Jose Rey is really starting to hit way better now I mean we saw him do really solid in that in that Guardian series getting six RBIs and two home runs and now in this game goes two for three with a walk a double and a RBI single and his batting average has gone up to 225 I know 225 is low but honestly with how bad Abreu has been this season 225 is you know it's going up is batting average has been as low as like 215 216 so it is it is it's not going up a lot but it is slowly going up and he is hitting the ball way better and way harder now for the Astros Guyana Diaz was over for in this ball game he did not he's the he's the first guy since dubon not in the lineup not to walk he was over four with a fly out two fly outs a strikeout and a ground out uh chess McCormick besides his his eighth inning home run chess truck struck out twice and then fly it out to left in the second inning so one for four for jazz McCormick Jake Myers would walk in his first at-bat and his last at-bat a second inning walk for Jake Myers and the eighth inning walk for Jake Myers as well but then struck out in his in his middle at bats with fourth and sixth a fourth and sixth inning strikeout martium Maldonado besides his home run to left in in the seventh inning uh Maldonado was O for three besides that home run with a strikeout a ground out and a pop out but in the seventh inning did have his first is sorry uh it's not first home run his fourth home run of the season and is a hundredth home run of his career um besides besides kind of round pitching in this game he was really solved for the Astros went seven Innings but are the pitchers for the Astros today in the eighth and ninth inning Brian abrejo pitch the eighth inning gave up two hits and one earned run but did give a strikeout and I mean I you know yeah he did give up an earned run but at the same time it was a fours it was a 4-0 game uh did get the end he did get through the ending with only giving up one run so I think it's it's not great but it's a it's okay uh filmmates on and filmmaton in the ninth inning uh got the got the got the clothes for the Astro got to close out this game in the ninth inning for the out so it's got to strike out and was able to finish the ninth inning and eight only eight pitches his era is amazing a one 1.10 era for maton great win for the Astros a day to start off this three-game series really impressed with the way the Astros played today not only pitching uh pitching was all really solved only gave up six hits uh between the starter and the bullpen and hitting was really nice it's four home runs six runs really good Redemption after uh only scoring zero runs on Sunday against the Guardians and only four hits so the Astros did way back better than they did on Sunday today but use them her thoughts that's a video if you guys
