Detroit Lions News & Rumors: Time For DE Aidan Hutchinson To Level Up Like TJ Watt

going to talk about Aiden Hutchinson so let's do it all right guys I want to talk about Aiden Hutchinson on today in every season there is expectations and with the expectations there's expectations for the Lions to make it to the Super Bowl this season there's expectations on having a better defense in 2024 there's expectations on a guy like jir Gibs being able to get 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving there's expectations but yes I do have expectations these are all my only personal expectations that I would love to see Aiden Hutchinson be able to do because I think that with Aiden Hutchinson it's time to raise his level of play because I think that Aiden Hutchinson can get better add a couple more pass rush moves and I think that this dude is going to be a freaking nature he's probably the most gifted Athlete on their team when it comes to the defensive side of the ball and I want to see Aiden Hutchinson grow man it's time to go to the next level Hutch needs to go to the next level and I don't think it's wrong to have these expectations on huton because I feel like this kid is that good and I think that in year three you want to make that big leap and and and and one thing that you will know with Hutcherson he's gotten better every season I believe in his rookie year he had nine and a half sacks and then in his sophomore season he had uh 11 and a half sacks which would give him a total of 21 sacks definitely starting off his career balling doing a lot of great things for the Detroit Lions but less rais the bar for Hutch um it's time for Hutch to be a heat sick and missile and I mean get out get after the quarterback on every single play now one thing about Hutch last season he started off a little bit slow if if you guys don't remember he started off slow and we kind of had some concerns of him being able to get to the quarterback on a consistent play and then he ramped it up towards the end of the season and he was getting to the quarterback left and right so this just tells me that this kid is able to get better and the biggest thing with Hutch is what you want from him every single season and what my expectations is for him to be a double double sack guy every year Hutcherson from this point on needs to have at least 10 sacks every season this is what I think especially if we're talking about barring no injuries barring no type of setbacks being able to play out there on the football field every Sunday every Monday night every Thursday or every Sunday night when they have a football game that Hutch is there and pretty and pretty much man Hutch has been so far in his career has been healthy every single game he's played 17 games for uh two seasons in a row so definitely man I got to say Bravo to uh Hutcherson for being able to do that man but I think that it's time for him to produce like TJ watt it's time to get the watt level effect going on in Detroit with a I believe if Aiden Hutchinson gets like TJ how TJ watt is for the Pittsburgh Steelers then this Detroit team is going to be scary The Best Is Yet To Come From Aiden Hutchinson because you know that the only thing for him is to do is to get better that's the only thing for Hut to do it ain't really too many things that he needs to work on besides probably adding a couple new moves to his pass rush but other than that being being able to be consistent being able to be a heat sicking missile being able to play next level football especially when it comes to rushing the uh quarterback and being able to stop plays in the back field we definitely need Hutch to be able to do that this season so the expectations for me for Hutch is kind of high now I think that Hutcherson can get anywhere between 12 to 20 sacks this season that's where I'm going to put the bar at with Hutch this season last year he had 11 and a half sacks this year come on Hutch you got to do it baby anywhere from 12 to 20 sacks on the season it's time to get that TJ watt like type numbers in Detroit and I think that he can do it you watch some of the numbers that TJ watt is pulling off man it's crazy and and Hutch is a little bit bigger than well I know he's at least yeah he's a little bit bigger than um TJ watt I think TJ watt is only what six 4 200 maybe 250 60 lb somewhere in there and Hutch is like 66 67 almost 270 so I definitely believe that Hutcherson can uh get to the quarterback so my expectations for Hutch this season I don't know what you guys are thinking about Hutch and where you think he should be at but to me for Detroit to get better defensively Hutch needs to step up his level of play he needs to step and don't start off slow just get out the quarterback right away and I'm talking about sacking Matthew Stafford on the first maybe two or three times uh this Sunday let's get this thing on the ball rolling man let's get some sacks rolling up and let's put up some great numbers because I think that Hutchinson can do it it's time for him to put up the TJ watt type numbers now now is he going to be a player like TJ watt I don't know but I do I definitely think that he can get to the All Pro status that's the next level man that's NE that's next level play and TJ watt has been able to do that what maybe probably like six times or something like that maybe four or six times somewhere in between there TJ watt has been an allpro being able to get to the quarterback and one season he was close to Breaking Michael straan record which is 23 sacks in the season I believe um he came he came short of one sack pretty much of uh of breaking Michael Stan's record for 23 sacks in the season so definitely man I'm not saying that Hutch I'm not going to put that type of weight on him and say that he got to go out there and get 23 sacks but the only thing that I'm saying is I want to see Hutcherson go from uh 11 and a half sacks this season to having either 12 in uh 12 sacks all the way up to 20 sacks so leave it in the comments section guys what do you think hutchon is going to do and how many sexs do you think he's going to have because I believe at the end of the day Hutch can do it I don't think that it's wrong for us as fans to say man let's go get it Hutch let's go get 20 sacks this season I think that Hutch Hutchinson can do it I think that he's uh he's proven himself every single year to get better and um hey skyt at the limit with Aiden Hutchinson man I want to see this dude get 12 to 20 sacks this season and I definitely think that he's going to be the next TJ watt if he's able to get that many
