UFC Fight Night Cannonier vs Borralho Predictions and Best Bets

Intro was cracking fellas we got Jared caner taking on Kyle barrao this weekend um I wouldn't say it's the most stacked card uh there's a lot of [ __ ] old heads on this card like a lot um so yeah I think I got some good reads uh as far as the Ultimate Fighter fights I have no [ __ ] idea about any of the guys so I'm just gonna I don't even know if I'll go over it to be honest with you I don't know anything about him I just I can't even take the ultimate fighter serious to be honest with you there's just there's just nobody good that comes off of it and for a while now I mean I believe the the best fighter right now is Brian battle I uh you know it's just not great so I'm I'm a contender series guy I feel like probably half of the 75% of people watch the contender series a lot more I would consider myself that so I don't know anything about any of those guys I have no reads I don't know [ __ ] about them as far you know there's a lot of women fight on this card um the first two I'm not even going to touch the it the Richi when I will but yeah I'm not going to waste too much time let's get Jose Medina vs Zachary Reese right into it first up we got Jose Medina taking on Zachary Reese um if you don't know who Jose Medina is you're probably gonna forget his name Quick he is not a great Fighter um yeah he uh so the story on him he was on Dana White Contender series he lost to maged G aulov at 205 this fights at 185 uh I guess he took a year off to try and make himself a decent 18 85 what I noticed about Jose Medina's game he likes to wrestle and he is very durable uh but he's slow as [ __ ] and he's not he's just not good I'm not gonna lie like obviously if I stepped in the octagon with Jose Medina he'd take my head off but I'm just saying like he's not that good he's not great um as far as his striking slow take down slow um he's kind of a kind of a fat guy to be honest but I don't know what he looks like at 8 five so maybe he comes out looking ripped we never know but Zachary ree on the other hand is a problem Zachary ree is a good fighter uh very aggressive on the feet he's aggressive on the ground as well it throw up some missions I believe he's never seen the second round so with Jose Medina's durability we'll see how Zachary Reese gets it done with that being said come on bro if you've watched Jose Medina he sucks he's not good uh you know that Zachary ree is going to win this fight Zachary ree has has a lot of ways to win he's much more explosive faster on the feet uh I'd like to see him you know take more of a technical approach I want to see what he looks like outside of the first round you know what I mean um obviously he lost to Cody Brundage but he's coming off a win against Julian Marquez where he knocked him out in like two seconds just an uppercut he hits hard um you know I like this guy he's he's crazy he he's a good fighter he's a great Fighter um I'm picking him to win this one uh you know if Medina tries to take him down I'm sure Zachary Reese will submit him easy because Zachary Reese is very good on the ground he's very good I would say that's his best he's the best on the ground probably his striking like I said I haven't seen enough of it to know if he's a fantastic Striker but I know he is fantastic on the ground he's got great triangle chokes um yeah he's a good fighter I expect him to get this one done inside the distance uh Jose Medina not too good next up we got Dennis Buzukja vs Francis Marshall Dennis bazooka taking on Francis Marshall this is on short notice uh franc Marshall this fight's at lightweight um he is small to me I feel like this guy could be a flyweight to be honest with you but he's coming here as the favorite on a week's notice which is a bit shocking to me I would say um you know he trains at American top team Coconut Creek obviously there's some great Fighters there but the last fight I saw him in which was about a year ago against Isaac delarian uh and not even in that fight I mean he just got taken down and beat got his ass beat against dgan it's not really a fight I could watch that well but against William Gomes and a guy named Rojo I don't even know if he's in the UFC anymore but Francis Marshall is hitable to me on the feet uh his wrestling entries takedown entries aren't great um you know with that being said I do think he is fantastic on the ground with jiu-jitsu and he has good ability to control he moves very well on the ground I think he's got the Jiu-Jitsu Edge and probably maybe the wrestling Edge but bazooka on the other hand coming off of win I can't remember who he fought the guy off the contender series who was fast I do believe also Francis Marshall is a faster guy here um yeah I think bazooka is better though I really do uh he trains with Mor Rob and aljo I expect the grappling to be on point I don't think he'll be taken down Dennis bazooka is a striker boxer he likes to kick the calf he puts together some nice combinations he he was 0 and2 to start off in the UFC a loss over Shawn Woodson not a bad loss loss over Jamal emers also a pretty good fighter where he got knocked out against Jamal emers but he came back got a knockout win um Dennis bazooka hits hard man he hits hard uh he's not afraid to to to exchange in the pocket which I think is a good thing in this fight um you know Francis Marshall like I said he's very hitable to me uh he's very open I think bazooka is gonna catch him with some B Big Shots uh I think he'll put him down I think you know we might see a finish here from Dennis bazooka I do you know he is a pretty big featherweight this fight is at lightweight so I don't really know who's going to be bigger but I'm assuming it'll be bazooka and I think he's a lot better on the feet uh you know Marshall's not great on the feet to me like I said he's just hitable so I think bazooka is going to get this one done I think he might be able to get the KO we'll see uh so yeah I'm picking Dennis bazooka to win this one he is the underdog which is crazy to Viacheslav Borshchev vs James Llon top me next up we got James laop taking on V borchev now look Jame or James laop you know know he's a guy off the contender series he he fought in Peru on the regional scene I had to go watch his Peru or Peruvian fights and bro I'm scarred like I'm not joking I could take a flight down to Peru and get a regional fight and get a shot at the belt probably like it's just I don't know what it is about the Peruvian MMA scene it's really bad to me you know I think you know James laop is a striker he's not great on the ground at all so it's a ideal matchup for vsl Bor Chev who is fantastic on the feet uh this guy's fast he's very good he knows how to fight on the feet you know James laop he has a puncher chance obviously I mean vaslav's uh durability Is Not Great which worries me a little bit but in this fight I think he's just a lot a lot Slicker and a lot better on the feet you know he he's been training at Team Alpha Male I believe so he he's good if he needs to go to the ground I think he might be able to ensue some takedowns if he needs to but without the threat of the takedown vaslav should should have no problem with this guy uh obviously the punchers chance and the durability of vaslav absolutely worries me um you know getting dropped by J Chase Hooper isn't great like I I'm Chase Hooper he doesn't hit hard at all so yes it's a bit concerning but I expect VAV to get this one done I think he's just you know a lot better on the feet when you watch this guy fight you know he's a great kickboxer a great Striker very fast you know great check hook I think he gets this one done via KO but I'm a little nervous for his durability he he you know he gets hit a Edmen Shahbazyan vs Gerald Meershcaert lot uh next up or doesn't get hit a lot he gets hit you know stumbles around looks like he's drunk next up we got Edmund shabazi and taking on Gerald mirart Gerald Unk mirart got to respect his ground game no doubt uh at this point he's 37 38 he's only been ko'ed four times you know pyer chamaya have got him um with that being said I I think Edmund's got that power as well I think Edmond is in that class of guys who hit that hard you know pyer and chamaya they both hit extremely hard I I think Edmund hits as hard as them um he's coming in at minus 290 or 280 I believe I understand the number Edmond's a good fighter man you know Gerald Mir sharts you know if he can get you to the ground obviously he's so dangerous we know uh 24 submissions I believe so he's an incredible ground game but but I don't think his takedowns are that good you know Edmund uh he's had some setbacks of course this guy was you know very highly touted but they're putting him on the right track here I think he gets this one done pretty easily Gerald you know his takedown entries aren't great and his wrestling like his he's just not great at takedown entries not fast I think Edmond you know he he's going to expect it obviously he trains at extreme Couture those guys get a lot of you know reps a lot of them have great takedown defense Chris Curtis Shan Strickland great Tak down defense I don't expect Gerald mirart to get a taked down here I think Edmond's going to put his lights out in the first round I just think he cracks with those guys like I said shamayev and pyer they they all hit hard I think he hits as hard as them and uh yeah I'm hoping Edmund gets this one done and I do think he will um Michael Morales vs Neil Magny next up we got Michael Morales versus Neil Magny first of all this number is [ __ ] outrageous I believe Michael Morales is sitting at minus 900 which is um ridiculous uh but Michael Morales is a guy who I've talked about I do think he's really good um Neil Magny at this point you know he beat Mike mot I think Mike mot is not as good as uh Michael Morales Michael Morales is very fast his his onew is great his reach is very long I think he's going to have an easy time getting to Magny and you know when you're fighting a guy like Magny there's not much coming your way in terms of power power and you know anything right his striking isn't great the way he wins is wearing on Fighters and you know being durable uh which Magny is very durable but Morales you know I feel like he's smart he's well balanced he knows how to come in here and he he's got a good game plan I'm sure to come in and get the win you know I don't agree with the number obviously minus 900 is absurd uh Michael Morales might be able to find a finish here you know he he's I don't see the cardio issues right because that's what you know Mike mot had an issue with the cardio Morales is gonna come in here and kick the legs you know land some good shots I don't know if he'll be be able to put magy away but I expect him to get this one done fairly easily I think you know Magny obviously he's he he's good on the ground I think he might be better than Morales on the ground but Morales is so athletic so fast uh you know I don't think he's been taken down before he's keeps getting better he's good in the clinch as well sometimes he stays in the clinch a little longer but I'm expecting him to get the this one done um you know I think Magny the way he'd win is probably you know grabbing a body lock when when Morales you know gets or blitzes in which I still don't think is going to work I I do think Michael Morales is g to find the Finish maybe so I'm gonna pick uh I'm GNA pick Morales by a decision here I think he wins wipes the board 3027 pretty easy win for him and uh next up Angela Hill vs Tabatha Ricci we got Angela Hill taking on tabat thei um you know I'm not too uh into WMA I don't know much about it um I don't watch fights but I I I I think tabi thei is going to get this one done um you know she's dating a very good boxer and she's a good Striker herself uh I don't know who's going to win this one I think it's going to be boring as [ __ ] and I think it's going to be a decision I'm picking tabi tabichi by a decision this is what I wanted to get to Cailo Borralho vs Jared Cannonier the main event Kyle Baro taking on Jared unk caner caner is about 41 he's getting old and I don't think it's great um you know I think Kyle Baro he's a southpaw Jared caner loves to kick the legs and he will switch stances but last time I saw him switch stances into Southpaw to be able to get that leg kick more available uh Marvin vtori cracked him and rocked him I don't think Canon's defense is great from Southpaw um you know so I think it'll be hard for him to find that leg kick so you know when vitori rocked him he was Orthodox the rest of the fight right so obviously he looked great in that fight but Baro is going to move around a lot he he likes to stay on the outside he blitzes in he's he's very fast um you know he he's a good Grappler as well I'd give him the grappling Advantage the BJJ Advantage I don't know if he's going to be able to get Canon near to the ground to be honest um it is a close fight for me I don't like the number on Baro I believe he's minus 200 I'm not a fan of that number to be honest but it it is what it is I do think Kyle gets this one done you know he he's a lot faster to me um obviously the fighting nerds they they have great game plans they always come out and executed he is a high IQ fighter I will give him that you know against Abus mamedov he wanted to make Abus gas out um Paul Craig I don't have much to say about that but he's a balanced fighter he he can win anywhere I think you know when it comes to the Precision and the accuracy and overall the Striking I do believe Jared caner is a bit better but bro like he just you know I'm not going to say like nasimov just you know T tko'ed him and it was an early stoppage but he was hurt you know what I mean this is two months it's only been two months since that I'm not a fan of that this guy's 40 years old obviously he's got to keep fighting I mean he's he's coming to the tail end of his career um I think Kyo is just more at this point more durable I think he's more athletic faster I even think he might be able to get a finish here you know I do think he'll win a decision but it's just caner I just don't like the the two months I don't like it if this was a full Camp I would think different you know and it was a a you know three or four month layoff this is two months it's it's very close and you know coming off of TKO I know he was still with it like I said but I just think Kyle gets it done man you know he's he likes to high kick he sets up all of his shots I think the wrestling isn't going to be there as much as people might think I don't think Kyle's going to be able to get a ton of takedowns he might I don't think he will Jared koner has never been submitted in his career you know Kyle he if he mixes in his takedowns he'll be able to get him I think he does good work in the clinch as well as Jared I think this is a close fight I think I'm going to lean Kyle Baro via decision I just think like I said man it's that two months bro it's not enough time it's not enough at all to me I just don't think two months is enough for getting tko'ed and you know imov you could say Jared kir was up one or two rounds I I I thought it was ovav you know two to one I thought he was up two rounds to one and he was finding his Mark he found his range really well um you know ah Kyle is a little bit low volume which worries me you know it's a tough fight to call but I'm going to stick with Kyle Baro to get this one done I think he might be able to get one or two takedowns um you know if it gets to the ground I do think he's going to have the ability to control Jared caner um but when it comes to the Striking I think it's it's different because Kyo is a guy who who come blitzes in right and he's light on his feet and Jared caner is a guy who is gonna pressure um and try to pressure and take away that footwork and a big part of taking away that footwork is being able to you know stop the movement with kicking the calf and I don't think that's going to be available available for Jared caner because if he switches stances Kyle's going to know he can hit him and if you know Kyle will switch stances as well so I don't think that leg kick is going to be there Jared caneer is a great jab um but he likes to get going with that leg kick he loves kicking the legs like I've been going over it repeating myself but it's true I've watched a lot of his fights and that's how he gets going I don't think Kyle's going to let him do that um so I'm going to pick Kyle baru by a decision I don't think this fight is going to be extremely fun it might be you never know but the way that Kyle fights he's very patient he doesn't really like to get hit which is another problem I have but I think you know after watching him I think he gets this one done via decision I hope y'all boys enjoyed
