Intro more with elk growth now what makes spinning the number one dance label in the world you guys just keep bringing the hits it's all about good music and in combination with the best marketing and promotion but it's all about good music that's the start you know as a fan myself when a hot song comes out and i go to listen to it on youtube i see that s yeah so how do you go about it of course it's a good sign it's all Finding new music about branding so do you have somebody like finding the songs or they get sent to you because you're so well known no we have a whole big a r team you know it's always looking out for songs for producers for tracks which are already out there which we can embrace so we have a fantastic department with a r with music guys selecting music and looking for talent like martijn or oliver heldens we bring them on board and we develop them on a musical level a musical career and then with the marketing and promotion you know we so first it's about the best finding the best music and then promoting it and marketing it in the best possible way now to promote and Marketing and promotion market it these days like with martin you're hooking up with major labels like a republic or an interscope something like that how's that relationship been in a way you know we help each other we break the records through clubs and djs and get them in the clubs get them on specialist radio and we need sometimes we need a label like republic in the u.s to bring that kind of records with top 40 radio is that all we've seen with animals that's how it happened with animals but then again at first it was already in the clubs in the us it was already on iheart on evolution on sirius so it was already there only you know we needed them to do top 40 radio promotion again they also need us to break certain records in the clubs you know so it's it's so we we help each other for sure Genre and it is all about the music so does genre matter or the way it sounds or maybe the youtube views or you just does it sound great if you if you if you check out uh spinning you know the website and youtube channel we we pulled out dance music but dance music is a lot of knows a lot of genres so like deep house or trance steel or progressive house do you see we put out a lot of different genres also on different surf labels and we pulled out to to our social media yeah don't stop keep it Deep House coming we love what spinning is doing now is there a certain sound or genre that you see the trend moving toward at the moment uh guys like oliver heldens they are becoming very popular now with a track like gekko yeah so the sound we feel which is upcoming this summer is it's more the deep house the problem is with progressive house it's a little bit too hard for radio also in europe you know it's still what the fans like in the clubs and on festivals the progressive house like showtek or martin garrix but on the radio they would like a little bit less tempo you know a little bit downsized tempo so deep house will be the big big trend the upcoming new big trend for us i could see it happening but Trends most of this trends start in the uk or european and then america catches on later why do you think that is we have a we have a culture in the uk there's a big fan base for that kind of dance music also in europe in europe it's all it's it's very popular with the masa audience and and so we have number one hits in holland and in germany and in france with animals like with animals or with gekko tsunami of drops and you see now the u.s market is really changing you know that red that the audience is finding these tracks on the internet they're promoting it uh so they're finding it on internet via youtube channels or and and also they see it on festivals in clubs and and so it's not more dictated by the labels what is on the radio but the kids find it themselves and now the radio is following the trend and that's changing the last two years Spinnin Sessions in the us also i love it we want to see the music uh keeping the pace of uh that european trend where the talent really comes from last question 2014 what should we expect from spinning spinning sessions uh events we want to bring that to the world you know and and share that with our fan base merchandise is coming up and we keep on building any artists and and like all of helen's fire beats uh tony junior new guy so we keep on going like we do now you know a continuous flow of big new music and and yeah sharing that with our fans so spinning record so check out spinning sessions on youtube all their events all over the world and uh don't forget martin garrix keep following him keep up with his new music thank you thank you so much
