The amount of weapons on Ole Miss' offense this year is off the charts. Anyone at any given time can step up and make a play, and that's what makes Ole Miss so scary. The talent at the tight end position is no exception. The tight end became super important for Ole Miss down the stretch last year, but we saw Caden Prieskorn emerge after he returned from injury. Dart pulls it back. Wide open! It's Prieskorn! He's in! Touchdown Ole Miss! Dart fires, wide open. Prieskorn, touchdown Rebels. Coming into 2024, Prieskorn was named preseason all SEC and was named to the John Mackey Award preseason watch list, which is given annually to the most outstanding tight end college football. In his first season as a Rebel, Prieskorn was named all SEC second team. In the 10 games he played, the Michigan native totaled 30 catches for 449 yards. He also caught four touchdowns. Prieskorn led all tight ends in the SEC with nearly 15 yards per catch. Hudson Wolfe returns to the Rebels this season after appearing in six games in 2023. The 6'6" junior from Savannah, Georgia caught three passes for 41 yards last year. Transferring to the SIP last spring from Virginia Tech is 6'4" junior Dae'Quan Wright. Wright was critical to the Hokie offense over the last two years. Wright had his career best season in 2023, reeling in 28 catches for 366 yards. These tight ends are just more weapons on the offensive end for Lane Kiffin to have fun with, and it's almost that time to see what this team can do. We'll see you in the Vaught.
