Packers Release 53 Man Roster!!!

good evening to all good evening to y'all welcome to a special edition we'll just call this late in pack uh Usual Suspects in here with me obviously big day for the NFL big day for the Packers and uh you know big day for this Channel and all Packer fans you guys all know what we are here to discuss I got my partners in crime TR and Packers King in the building and uh we are just here to talk about the initial 53 man roster uh we got a couple people in the building already we gonna get the business but let's give people their shout outs um milto much love and respect appreciate you coming hit the like button so let me know what's going on with that oh hold on hold on what's going on guys AJ the building how are you doing young man good how you doing Trump president I'm good uh Mark SP says hello fellow cheese heads uh and and we gonna start it off with milto AJ injury stings hates all these dumbass stats readers blowing them off his presence in the back field is something love will miss stats do not reflect crucial blocks that are critical to a play so you know we gonna get the we go and and and milto says hello to tr so we gonna get the round table going right that we gonna get the round table going right off of that um you guys know AJ uh not the AJ here he's my boy too but AJ Dylan I mean you know that's my boy man I've always wanted the best for him I think he hasn't been used to his best ability I mean it's only one ball you know Jordan love spreads the ball around even when it came to Rogers just unfortunate news but hopefully I mean hopefully something could work out where he could actually just play ball again whether it be with us or not any kind of closing thoughts on AJ Dylan for anybody y'all y'all wanna you know he's gone for the season and he was only on a oneyear deal so this we could have seen our last carry by AJ Dylan yeah yeah I think I think those neck injuries are nothing to play with and there has to be a lot more going on because if it was just a regular run of the Mills uh Stinger I think he would be uh uh subject to return later this uh season but he's on IR for the rest of the season they've shut him down something more is going on there and maybe he wouldn't have even made the Packers roster considering um you know his play in the this injury so it's going to be interesting to see how that plays out but I have a feeling that AJ may have played his last snap of professional football heyj oh you talking to me yeah all right um well I think uh we were talking about this in the podcast we did a few days ago about um AJ Dylan potentially having like a sterling shark type injury so you know we haven't really heard the full news on it or anything or the coverage so we don't really know what the injury is yet but you know it's looking like it could be career ending so yeah yeah so like like I said though we'll we'll get to you know have more knowledge of what's really going on probably in the coming weeks and kind of get a better understanding of you know how everything went about and how you know what the injury actually is because we don't really know we're all kind of scratching our heads here so what about you Taylor DK uh what I think about this a [Music] injury is started from a finger a finger thing it started from his finger and then I guess it worked his way up to the net but they said season injuries so what I think is that after the regular season is he gonna be ready for playoffs if we go deep in the playoffs will he be ready because it a season injury you get what I'm saying so it might be that yeah yeah that that includes the playoffs he's done for the year he's done for the year at least with the Packers uh I just think that um TT this this is why people be like oh why you start early my drive because I already know the future I'm already know I be ready when more folks be hurt I be ready so I know my players if I can tell y'all you know where we got to pick the pie at where where the strength and what a we say in the draft so I already knew something was going to happen but I already know which player was going to be on the season on the season IR I didn't know which player would be but I knew be somebody you know Packers ain't never had a healthy team so to close it out on AJ Dylan I'll get you guys final thoughts uh hopefully I don't know if it was by strategy to do that kind of of a um contract with them but hopefully cuz he's supposed to be like a segue he's supposed to be like a you know the language barrier in between the new running backs Josh Jacobs um um Marshon Lloyd and um well Wilson knows the offense but uh like I I thought that he was mainly gonna at least be on a team just to you know he and he's still good on the field but just to relay the word relay the message and the certain concepts for new running backs to come in and get the system a little faster so hopefully he was at least able to do that yeah yeah it's it's hard to know in my opinion I I don't think he ever fulfilled his promise um and and that could be related to the style of of Run game that we have didn't really fit his style but he always seemed to be a little um unsure on his feet and not as powerful as a back as you would think just by looking at him that's just my opinion great guy great guy yeah and listen if this this is last thing on him if this is you know his last you know whole r or whatever in Green Bay I mean at least he stayed and never left and at least uh you know he says rather whoever he plays for he say he's going to live in Green Bay so uh if he doesn't play again I think he'll at least be set up to have a nice living in the great state of Wisconsin okay okay um so you know we don't want go too long go ahead one thing one more thing I want to say is that AJ Dylan can get offer a job to be a running back coach that I'm I'm sure he can so uh we'll move on from AJ Dylan um Dorita says I want him to get better fast I want him to stay in Green Bay I wouldn't mind uh milto says TR season means season angry casual fan what's up with you he said he wanted heathan Joseph he is so happy all right so we going to start top to bottom we already know who qb1 is he's the man but we've also got some other QB news in Green Bay uh in the name of Malik Willis um no more Pratt no more Clifford okay so to me I don't know it just seemed like M main office or who you know hit the top of the top of Green Bay it just seems like they really are not [ __ ] around like you know they got rid of both of them and got got Malik Willis what are our initial thoughts on Malik Willis and him being the backup to Jordan Jordan love TR yeah I don't know a whole lot about him but I'll go with Taylor's word Taylor really liked him uh coming out of college so I I I give Taylor all the credit in the world for that I don't know a lot about him but I think what it speaks volumes to is that they were not satisfied with the two guys they had there as backups that they wanted to upgrade the position at least athletically and and have a little more promise to develop someone with more Raw Talent so that's pretty obvious um from what I've heard it sounds like they're going to try to bring Clifford back on the practice squad and not try to bring Pratt onto the practice squad and I think it's likely that um Clifford will be the backup quarterback um for maybe that first couple games until Willis gets you know his feet wet in this offense so we know on the if he's on the practice squad they can call uh up players from the practice squad a certain number of times a year so I wouldn't be surprised to see that and for Malik Willis it says pending physical obviously a lot of these guys passed them but there's been times where guys didn't pass it uh we're going to let Packers Kingdom talk I think this is a good Groove here maybe we should let Packers Kingdom go last you know every time so uh AJ what do you got on Malik Willis any any any any insight on him any anything you got got to say about him being the new backup um well my my family actually is season ticket holders to the Titans so I've actually seen this guy play and I've seen this guy practice so I know a lot about him um I've watched him in college a few times too like like not actually go to the games but I've watched you know I think he went to Liberty I've seen a few Liberty games um he's not a very good thrower but you know he can run the ball pretty efficiently so maybe we can kind of maybe use him as a gadget player maybe maybe have him like a tast him hill or something but I don't I don't get the move really I mean I'm assuming they thought Clifford and Pratt were that bad of quart quarterback options that we had to get somebody but it's not like like they trade for him they they wanted him so you know it's uh it's a bit of a head scratcher but you know we'll see how it all develops and it all goes down you know so this just my op though he's just not a very good thrower what I'm gonna say before we get PK the floor uh just as far as you know body type and all that like similar to like a love so I just think they're just going to try to just make him like you know kind of like you know obiously with Baltimore all the Baltimore's quarterbacks behind Lamar got a certain kind of similar you know couldn't do the same thing so obviously not to the level of a Jordan love but I just think they found somebody close to the skill set I mean again like AJ said this guy's played in games he's went through whole training camp so hopefully that experience will will help him out but uh Packers Kingdom you seem to be uh a little more excited about this than all of us here so tell us why what's going on with with Malik Willis what can he bring to the table uh he bre a Pacific skill set what I'm saying is that uh he's from Liberty like AJ said but you know in in that college they was more like a run scheme type so like like L like lville how they did Lamar he was like that type but don't forget AJ he also came from he transferred he came from Auburn and transfer to Liberty so you have to look at the the offense that he ran in Auburn too not just Liberty he might he made through he may through a lot at Auburn but they probably had the right receivers the right receivers and offense it goes together and one but when I look at preseason he threw uh he thre good few balls but the problem he has the arm he got the arm T out of this world but he needs to learn to to to make precise throws and uh stop putting you know stop trying to put your velocity on the ball too much maybe know when to have a touch off and when velocity and don't uh keep using your arm Talent too much you know what I'm saying you got to learn how to balance yourself he's a really athletic mobile quarterback uh like I said I wanted this guy uh uh goo you know it was on our board go didn't fight didn't like him at a time and I guess you know how goo do when they get cut goo probably had him on his board but Titan selected him and go Waits until he get the person get cut to want to draft the person he likes like he did with Preston Smith like did was Sammy Watkins he wanted Sammy Watkins out of the draft but the uh the uh who who selected Sam Walkins the Chiefs or the Ravens they select him in the first round brenon iuk brenon iay may be AE next year and go might go try to go get him because goo wanted B auk and if brenon auk was there he would have took B auk he wouldn't took Jordan love but 49ers jumped Packers and took brenon I and then that's when goop was forced to take Jordan love at at the time so are you saying the 49ers are responsible for giving us our our two Hall of Fame quarterbacks Aaron Rogers and Jordan love yeah yeah they're responsible because because the gy had the gimm want to get obviously Jim obviously uh uh goo didn't want AJ brown or DK you know the goo have a certain body type he don't like twoo mus too much muscular guys or too much big guy he like guy like Alan lazars you know what I'm saying but maybe maybe maybe he just he's seen something in ber auk that give him Devonte Adams Vibe because ber was gonna be the guy to replace Devonte Adams in the long run but the the N jumped him sure sure but back to Willis I mean any last thoughts on that kind of tie it back in not not not at all we move on you know we got a a whole roster to go through so that's the quarterbacks um that's the that's the quarterbacks uh Sean Clifford good luck Michael Pratt good luck um we will see one of you guys on the practice squad uh hopefully so we'll move on um go ahead what I want to see Michael pre but I think they gonna uh get Sean Clifford because he knows the offense and he knows the ins and out of the offense and that's the leg up that's a leg up against that situ that's what was said the whole time too Pratt hey he had it all but he had it all but he just couldn't get a a good grasp over the offense which I mean this offense is not the easiest to learn you know what I'm saying so we we understand that but we're gonna move on to the running back position we already discussed AJ Dylan we are looking at Josh Jacobs Marshon Lloyd and Emanuel Wilson as our backfield um I'm okay with it uh I always thought that our running back room even when it comes to Merryweather being cut uh Nate M mcquery uh I just think we got champagne problems in the running back room we just got a high expensive free agent and Josh Jacobs who's supposed to carry the whole load uh uh a marshan lyd um you know shout out to Brandy I didn't think that we would draft a running back and she said we may and we did so in brandy We Trust um and Emanuel Wilson a guy who I thought you know was bored line going to take AJ Dillan spot at some point in some time anyway so uh I'm okay with the running back room TR how do you feel about our backs coming into this season yeah there isn't a whole lot to say I think I think we're all reasonably comfortable with the running back room we like Wilson in uh Jacobs appears to be in a slight upgrade potentially uh from Aaron Jones but but time will tell there the only concern obviously Marsh on Lloyd in his injury because it it's kind of set him back and it's going to take him time to get acclimated to the offense but um I feel comfortable with the guys we have and and ready to rock with them AJ um I I think it's pretty good I think it's a pretty good room you know I think uh once Floyd gets over his little hiccups he's had I think you should move into the uh the roster pretty smoothly um you know I watched some tape on him in USC and I like what he had I like what he brings to the table um like I said is the injury that's really eluded him and like you were mentioning with Brandy talking about drafting a running back and you were kind of unsure if the Packers would draft one well that kind of brings us back to AJ Dylan it kind of makes makes you question you know did the Packers know about this injury beforehand you know did they did they know that he was kind of banged up and they said oh [ __ ] you know we going to draft replacement later down the line or were they just that you know they just thought he was incompetent and he couldn't really hold his position you know there's a lot of question mark so it's it's the most interesting room I think on the team right now the running back room in my opinion before we give it to you uh Packers Kingdom let's let's get let's get get some our folks out the way gpac unexpected live go pack oh okay well you know okay yeah he corrects it Ritter okay okay that that's cool all right so uh running back room uh Packers Kingdom uh what you got on it uh are you okay with that and what I also like to say is you know it could be a blessing in the sky sometimes with injuries you know sometime okay say Martian Lloyd H all year don't come to week like nine to 10 that's a whole another Wrinkle In This offense that other teams didn't teams that we might play twice say we play San Francisco with you know with uh Emanuel Wilson and and Josh jobs putting in marshan lyd for the next matchup and the playoff matchup might be a big difference so uh what do you have on the running back room before we move on to the next position group uh pacum quickly uh I'm messing with it uh I knew uh I knew was gonna draft a running back I knew was gonna be marshan l or Jaylen Wright uh I thought goo was actually going to double dip on the running back position because um you know goo uh I wish would I mean I like John Jacob signing right but I wish we would with rookie out if like rookie out like get jayen right and get Marti L get you know what I'm saying go young there for it's longevity but you know it ain't wrong getting Josh Jacobs ain't wrong with that but to me I would have took Shaquan Barkley to be honest but I like the running back room it's it's [Music] young you got you got Thunder and you got lightning and then you got another lightning Bool but they all big and bunky you know what I'm saying but short I mess with it all right well speaking of lightning and thunder shout out to tr it was a little inclement weather coming his way the other day but it didn't seem to get as worse as he thought in the midwest again I can't relate sorry me and me and pacas Kingdom Man 8 80 degrees 78 degrees every day but uh yeah man I I think that's a good a good mixup in uh in the running back room uh you want to add something TR or are we ready to move on to the most popular uh position group I think everybody was worried about let's let's roll let's R all right all right so wide receivers uh and then all right just on another note just to hey Packers Kingdom man you ain't just about to like in the trade you got to give something to get something man you keep trying to C give me CMC all right we're gonna say that for all right all right we gonna say that for last all right so we're gonna move on to the wide receiver room okay Romeo dubs Christian Watson Jayden Reed Davian Wicks Malik Heath and Bo Melton make the initial roster Grant dubos Samari Tor Julian Hicks Stanley and Jaylen Wayne are on the outside looking out um again more champagne problems for us I think uh I thought I I thought and think and think that one guy is going to just get cut that we didn't want to get cut and that may be dub maybe or maybe not Sam Tor maybe or maybe not but I think we got the right guys out of all of those guys Romeo Christian Watson Jaden Reed Davian Wicks Malik Keith and Bo Melton I think that is a very uh you know competitive and then they in their own right they all got a skill set a part of their game that can be unmatched you know Bo melon 4-3 speed I mean it just what can you do about that Wick with his with his release off of the line Jaden Reed kind of swits army knife but can also play Big Boy wide receiver and not just a slot he can also go on the outside and do something he wins good on 50-50 balls Christian Watson I say Ultimate Weapon X and Romeo dub I think down in down out best receiver we have so uh that's what I got on that TR wide receiver not surprised with how this one shook out I think uh I had Heath uh before deos um and like I mentioned before there's always a darling of training cab and Duos seem to have the eye of everyone at training camp um but uh I think Heath provides more value as a blocker I don't know about special teams but that's always a factor as well so it shook out exactly like I thought in I'm happy about it AJ um I don't really think much needs to be said either it's just uh I think uh Wicks is who I'm most excited to see this year I think his route running is just he brings just so much Dynamic energy to the offense and like we all said I mean it doesn't much really needs to be said at all I mean I just I'm more surprised how he just kind of collected these guys over the years you know just like started with dubs and Romeo and then just slowly started to accumulate these really talented guys that in my opinion I think everybody on the roster is underrated because nobody talks about them in the top 10 conversation you know so I think I think that's all I got though Packers Kingdom wide receiver room uh it's it looks nice very very how you say very versatile yeah very versatile very flavorful uh you can run a lot of packages out of this receiving core uh Mal uh I always believe that call malif I mea Malik Malik or die uh I just think that grand new B uh have won really won a good game and preseason but Malik he had playoff exper well playoff experience and he scor and he been in a live game before so and he's better special team he better than special teams than Theos I believe because I mean it's preseason right so you can it's bunch of four fifth string four fifth stringers on special teams out there fighting for a job and M already been in the situation compared Grant the but um well well I like I like it uh I know what skill set y'all think Maliki brings uh you think he like d wi with the rounde running and I think I think he's a mixture I I think he he's like Romeo but you know not as good as Romeo he could do a little bit of it all but I just yeah that's that's what that's how I look at him he block his block is a dog that's why in M Floy you have you have to block I like I got one thing okay I like how the ners over there uh ners over there trying to pay IU while we sitting here peacefully with cheap with a cheap receiving CT don't have to worry about nothing till next year and plus you know the ners is 38.8 over the cap and they talking about paying Trent Williams and Brena auk they gotta go where you gotta go and that's a hey I ain't going lie I mean maybe we should all be right cuz like Batman and Joker they complete us you know but you you seem a little worried about the ners man you all in their roster worry about what they doing we talking about our roster right now PK chill out all right so we gonna move on WE G we gonna move on wait one more thing I want to Samari Samari Tor I was kind of surprised because I remember that Buffalo game a few years ago and he had those like amazing catches and then it's like we never yeah yeah and he had a nice dance afterwards like he was ready for the moment but you know he let Malik he take his spot last year we all seen that right it just all right let's take care of some of our people in here before we get on move on to the next group uh Mark Spore maybe the Packers see something in his mechanics and convert him into above average average passer well he's talking about Willis well yeah I agree to that and I think if any town if any coaching staff to come to you seen how we love and and Malik Willis is still relatively young maybe in two years you know he can be a uh Matt Flynn type Guy where love misses a game he comes in and balls out wins himself a contract somewhere else again remember the G Smith remember a lot of other people got two years left in his contract so he got years figure it out what y want to do I I say if he good if he good if he good as a backup this year I sign [Music] okay we have a one or two punts definitely and again like AJ said earlier I think some trickery could be used you know putting him in there in certain spots but uh uh shout out to Josh 1K in the building I wish we kept Grant Duos hey maybe you know practice squad maybe I don't know we'll see uh milto I really wanted Heath I am so happy man me milto [ __ ] okay so let's move on they are not receivers but they are pass catchers this is pretty plain and simple man tight end room Luke Musgrave Tucker craft and Ben Sims uh Tyler davus uh is on injured reserve uh I don't believe he's like the season in injured reserve so he could probably come back within a few weeks special teams guy uh Ben Sim special teams guy too but caught a touchdown last year you know uh so tight end room I am totally okay with it I just need health I just need like we just need them in there together you know there's a time last year oh it was all Musgrave because craft was hurting Musgrave got her then crab got put them both together for a good amount of times and again like you mentioned before Packers kingom Luke Musgrave could play at Travis Kelce Road where he could go in and beat a receiver and then you could have crab playing the tight end but uh I mean again I keep saying I'm gonna keep saying this more champagne problems I I'm not sure again we're homers and stuff but I'm not sure if you can find a more talented tight end room I'm not saying the best but like you got one guy machines out there but Luke must gra and Tucker craft they're some they are some some guys so uh TR tight in room yeah yeah again not only surprised with this uh I will clarify one point is uh Davis is on season ending injury reserve so so he know he will not be playing this season as well so that dude just seems snake bitten with the injuries um the indications of what I've heard is they absolutely love him on special teams but he was not having a great camp at tight end so uh we may have seen the last of him but the other three guys not surprised uh like those dudes quite a bit I'd like to see another tight end uh just uh fill a spot on the proce squad maybe AJ uh I'm excited to see what Ben Sims is all about I think he's one of the more you know just players you get to look out for as far as like blocking ability I've seen some um I follow a few Packer Pages where they they're like people that actually like are allowed on the field and stuff for like training camp and I've seen some of the plays um I like his blocking but we we'll see what else happens you know you know I think Musgrave and Tucker craft those are our main two you know that's our onew punch so unless somebody gets injured I don't think there's going to be much of like an issue of who's going to be starting I mean I think I think that's pretty you know s explanatory at this point in time but I think you know Ben Sims maybe he could work maybe more into the workload if one of these guys goes down Packers Kingdom tight end room uh the tight end room um I like I like it I like the one two points I like Sims but I think we can do better we can do better at the three tight end the third tight end uh I like this guy named uh param from Chargers the one who got released today I like stop there stop there I did not know he got released now he's a mut guy who's popular in muts though that that definitely doesn't mean it transitions on the field but Parham cards are always good also just to mention Joel Wilson was released uh Messiah Swinson and Henry Pearson those are the other tight ends that were released not that you guys care about yes oh they had him at tight end I don't know why I don't know why but uh uh uh uh I think well we talking about the tight end off get to the o line room we G that's that's next but let's finish up what you got I want I want I want to I want to run a what you call three tight end Set uh 23 Personnel something like that okay yeah I wouldn't be able to run a three tight I wouldn't be able to run three tight ends out there cause well we might be able to you can have took a craft as traditional tight end then you can have uh uh if you get param you can have param and and Musgrave line up on outside I don't know about param bro I think I I think the Packers are okay you know with the tight end room but um one more last question that I have for you guys for the tight ends each of you guys you could just say yes or no is there going to ever be a situation or is it possible that Tucker craft can actually be tight end number one and then Musgrave kind of got to take a backseat you know or or is this like what we're going to be seeing Luke is our guy he's he's like the number one tight end type Tucker can do some of the same stuff but he's more of a blocker but is there a time where you think Tucker could be the tight end one uh TR yes it's possible okay AJ yeah yeah no it's it's anybody's game you know Packers kingdom yes or no that's it oh well I had one thing just a quick thing I say uh you know it depends it depends on the defenses bro like it depends on how you teaming so mus is your fast guy and Tucker CRA is your Bruiser so which one you gonna choose the speed you can go all the pack just on the speed and then you get your bruisers receivers outside so it depends on the scheme yeah yeah oh I love you I love you PK yes we get aeration it's like my kids man we go in the store I'm like don't touch nothing don't grab nothing soon as we walk in Dad hey I just told y'all hey there's nothing short when it comes to uh Packers Kingdom all right but we are gonna move on to the big boys we're gonna move on to the trenches we're going to move on to what really wins games okay damn huh I said damn it's 34 minutes already yeah we trying trying to do the hour trying you know what I'm saying try get on hour so offensive line we got you took up 28 of those minutes PK yeah hey let let me say one thing and then proceeds to say 20 things all right so here we go Elton Jenkins Josh Meyers Rasheed Walker Zack Tom Jordan Morgan Shan Ryan Andre Dillard Jacob monk Kadeem tford and Travis Glover that is 10 o Lyman you guys 10 o linman I'm not sure if y'all thought we would have 10 I thought it'd be nine or eight but clearly we haven't figured out the best five that is what I get from how many people they kept and actually there is a God released was Royce Newman okay and Caleb Jones Caleb Jones I'm so sad and sorry about that but I I'm not I'm going to just leave it at that hopefully you know he finds his way on the practice squad whatever Luke Tuda LCI Smith whatever and Donovan Jennings are who also got released so uh uh you know uh I'm sad about Caleb Jones but I'm happy about Royce Newman with all due respect Royce we appreciate every snap that you did for us but uh I think we' seen the whole Royce Newman story so TR offensive line what you got yeah the story as far as I'm concerned as Royce Newman I mean thankfully Brandy did not J uh by mentioning Roy stuman just the other day he gone um something I could never figure out about this dude this dude was starting at both guard and Tackle in his rookie year we thought we had a dude there who is going to be able to fill a very important role and he seemed to just regress massively I can't I can't figure it out um besides Roy I'm not surprised it kept 10 um because they seem a bit unsettled at with their swing tackles so uh let's see how it plays out not entirely surprised with the results before we go to you AJ I'm also shocked I'm like damn you know maybe just because we put some money in them or we just got him but Caleb Jones can't beat the Andre Dillard but whatever I'm just a little upset Caleb Jones ain't there 69 360 with sweet feet and you can run the ball behind them maybe it's I don't know maybe it's fatigue but uh hey what you got on the offensive line um honestly and this sounds embarrassing but this is not my expertise so you know I try to get into it and understand it but I mean without David boxar there we'll see how it goes I know he was injured [ __ ] a lot of games anyways the past two years but I mean just having him there too teaching these guys even on the sideline we'll see what they can do Elden Jenkins is great um you know Josh Myers we'll see what's going on with him see if he's still I mean is isn't he still battling for a position at this point or what I mean he should be but I mean it looks like you know they they've trying to you know give it other people opportunities to push him out so again shout out to AJ and respect to AJ for just saying listen this ain't my expertise but we do have the expert of all experts on here what about what about come bro best of the best one of the best right tackles last year very you know only thing his issue is under siiz but you know he's shown in every way uh he was the second best blocker at right might have been the one to make it if he didn't but as far as this defensive end grouping again it's kind of like a position group change cuz uh Preston and rashan were l in Lucas Kingsley they were all looked at as linebackers last year but we got Preston ran Gary Lucas vanas Kings Le and gabari Bren J andby me ran and Preston can get it done right and Preston's getting a little older but he can get it done but I think Lucas vanz is the perfect segue to play Both Sides oh Preston late in the game tired all right put Lucas there oh rashan needs a breather Preston's doing fine put put Lucas in there for rashan and inab thank God he didn't have the injury that we thought he did last year he's a good pass rusher I think as I think our alternates are good okay I think we do need another ran gar not two Reggie whites but two ran G's I do think at some point on the other side of rashan we need somebody just as comparable I think Lucas vanz could be that guy hopefully he works his way into that this year Kings Ley and gabari is just a excellent rotational Britton Cox Aaron Mosby I'm not going to talk about y'all too much Cox you got a lot of talk about you though a lot of people talking about you Britton Cox so hopefully you could come in and get a couple sacks so TR what do you have on our new defensive end type room well maybe it can save us some time and and just have a blanket statement uh and that is you know I'm not entirely surprised by the defense I think the defense as a whole is is a work in progress and with this new system there's yet uh a lot is to be determined right now you know I'm not going to get excited about anything until I see it on the field um there are a couple mild surprises on the defensive side but uh no starters or or any players were released that I would expect to contribute a great deal this year so um I'll just blanket statement defense I'm I'm happy let's wait and see how it works out okay AJ defensive end position pres Smith Gary Lucas vanz what you got um I'm excited to hopefully see some development in uh vanest this year I want to see him take that you know second year leap and I mean you already know we again with Gary and Smith at this point you know they're both going to be solid pieces as long as they can stay healthy I know some of them have had their fair and share of health issues over the past few years but I'm just really excited to see what vaness can bring you know Packers Kingdom uh uh I've always felt like uh that world was gonna be like the Niners had ners be having some much damn depth on the front wore the Green Dot on your helmet a few times last year when when Campbell was out and I'm hopefully the the vet Campbell helped you out with his complaining crying ass I hope he helped you out to the point of where you can be the guy at inside linebacker so I'm saying oh no somebody else going to do it really what I'm sing you Quay they they they act like you all just on the field they they act like you got no cerebral types uh uhh contributions to do to this that they don't think you can replay like you know call plays and do this and that that's just the synopsis I got from that like we all know you could play with your hair on fire and you're a fiery guy uh but it is time for Quay my whole message to this middle linebacker or inside linebacker position we love McDuffy Eric wion special teams guy too and can come in and do something Edan Cooper we want him to be like a baby Quay you know what I'm saying uh but just on the outside and then we got Tyron Hopper somebody who could be a poorman's Edan Cooper or even better I don't know so uh TR uh you know give you a little more time this uh you are you know a linebacker so how do you feel about our linebacker group confident not confident I I think once again there's a lot to be seen yet but but in this system it should allow these inside linebackers to really flourish uh we should see a lot more action uh from these middle linebackers we have a good athletic group of guys but I'm very curious to see how it's going to play out I'm a bit disappointed that Cooper's had some uh injury Hang-Ups but uh I'm really excited to see him once he gets going um again let let's wait and see how this works out but I'm excited AJ linebacker room um I think it's gonna be as good as Jeff Halley makes it you know I think him coming in here and C yeah I think it's just it's just G to be as good as he makes it um I think a lot of these players you know they're so used to Joe Barry scheme and stuff that I just feel like him coming over is just going to be a total different story hopefully just starts to progressively get better I don't know you know week one I don't know if you're going to see a huge change right off the bat hopefully we see that but you know I don't know as as good as Jeff Halley makes it pretty much perfect hey I mean I that's that's a point that I forgot to put and then you did it AJ you know week one okay and uh you know they just gota play with their hair on fire so that is a linebacker position group we are moving on to you know the Divas of the defensive side you know a lot of people talk about wide receivers being Divas but Corners can also be Divas in the most respectful way but um Jer Alexander Eric Stokes kesan Nixon Carrington Valentine Corey Valentine okay released was Robert Rochelle kayin King which Brandy just can't believe and then jaman green who I don't even know wave injured was LJ Davis so what I got is pretty much man this group goes as far as Jer goes we get a six game by Jer and then he just misses the rest if Jer plays seven games eight games he misses the rest we just need a healthy Jer and I think he will make this group Excel as to the to the most high point that they can be uh of what he can bring to the table he can shut down the whole side of the field uh I think he can even play a little slot which you know I guess we've been staying away from but uh you know Eric Stokes uh Redemption uh like we ain't seen you in a minute you've been injured you've been going through this and that what can you bring to the table are you g to be CB2 Kean Nixon everybody talks about you everybody wants you gone everybody only wants you during returns can you make an impact in certain games like you did against Kansas City when you picked off Patrick Mahomes at a critical time in the game Carrington Valentine I love how you got bigger and better uh you know what I'm saying uh this off season and Cory Ballentine just a standard just a constant just you know hey a constant uh good Play and play out like you know how many times we seen actually Cory Ballentine just get wasted and and just just just get torched out there so uh I don't think TR in here but uh uh cornerbacks cornerbacks uh AJ what do you have what do you have on our quarterback room cornerback room well you know I'm very excited like you said Jer is gonna lead the way obviously because he's our star player on the defense but I'm very excited to see what Eric Stokes is going to do he's been out you know for a long time and we'll see how he comes back into the mold you know see if he kind of um comes in and makes that immediate impact or what he's going to do but I don't know it's just such an interesting maybe not necessarily just the quarterbacks but the safeties too the whole secondary should be the the most fun part of this defense this year and I'm just very excited to see how Joe hefley is going to use all these toys on the defense you know we got a lot of good safeties this year got a got a lot of good um rookies coming in in the secondary so I'm just very excited to see overall what the structure is going to look like this year okay hey we the 4-3 the 34 I played them both the three four you know you're making ways for the linebackers as the defensive tackles and defensive lineman but in the 43 you're just taught to attack go attack
