very well very well very well very well I hope you're doing well out there too oh I'm sorry say you want to say something no no you okay okay um I I was gonna say I hope that you're doing well out there too uh despite the fact of uh Arsenal um apparently yep they just went final not too long ago um two nothing victory for them unfortunately so it is what it is uh it's kind of funny that he has no end product you could say that possibly for Olli Watkins today I mean guy had an absolute he had an open goal what wide had a absolute sitter for a header ended up heading it right back into the middle of the goal and the goalkeeper makes a save on it um yeah and and uh and then then it got a little bit kind of um kind of a little sloppy I think I guess you could say for Villa's part they didn't really keep uh keep a hold of the ball really at the end of the game so kind of let one slot one slip out of their hands where they possibly should have come up with some type of result from this one but we move we move season big season for D it is a big SE it is a very big season you I I agree with that completely because like um they have they have quite a bit uh holding on their shoulders this year and it's going to be interesting how they navigate being in the Champions League this year I think so yeah should be very very interesting um big up to John Conway big up to Red Bird big up to MK toad in the house big up guy big up um big up to anyone that's uh hasn't commented but it's still just chilling maybe just on your drive or maybe you're at work or you know at uh at lunch or dinner or something like that um and you know what Edward I that was that was a show that we were supposed to do that was a show I wanted to do that I wanted to go into um into uh not only the new format and kind of explain how it all works but also um with the um I'm gonna go blank with the name of what they call it now where like uh the how they rank the clubs you know um my seedings or no it's the it of a C I'm think of I can't oh coefficient coefficient coefficient yeah yeah yeah yeah okay yeah so like explain that a little bit deeper and get into kind of because it is interesting how they how they do rank that how it puts you into like certain certain pots in essence you know and different groups I guess you could say and how and that like dictates the different teams that you'll play in the whole like format it's a very interesting format coming up this year one that I hope that uh take advantage of actually oh arm CH oh big up red arm chart arm shair excuse there there is certainly some Sour people on on on the panel in chat but um uh big up to Alexander big up to realis and Jared big up to all you guys um but why I'm saying what I want to say and I'll give briyan his his take too I really think that the whole like oh like slot's just saying that he wants to assess the team because like you know he's he's a comfy man or you know he's you know or he knows he should know what this team needs or this or that sometimes you like to see the players in person sometimes you want to see it with your own eyes you want to get a you want to get a like a an actual conversation with the and and develop a relationship so you understand if the player's able to you know uh break down what what you're trying to tell him if he's on board with the me message and and and uh Vision that you have for the team and if there W and if you really believe in that player can fulfill what you're putting in front of him and I agree that like uh you know I know um Lee said it uh early and I know Brian definitely uh co-signed on it and and and I am I I am open to believing that you know we could or open to understanding that we might wait until the January window um to assess this team properly because this team is a good team if it can stay healthy it is an excellent team um but it's a matter of staying healthy that's the big question mark so um if we can get by that it' be great but I mean like um you know I'm hoping that he does do what he can do with his team and and believe but we might see some we might see some late um late window uh transfers I mean it's not like it would be the first time we saw uh FSG or or or Liverpool bring in a late window transfer um acquisition do you have do you have a take on this Brian yeah it's not quite as positive but it's B it's like my my old fail safe is like well what else would he say he's not going to come in and say this s is TR crash the squad is useless we exactly you know we need yeah we need a ton of surgery if I don't get four we we forget about Europe you know he's come in and said look this is top quality Squad 7 what he said from day one only needs one or two hi Bernie only needs one or two bits and pieces so it it was never an overhaul it was never a complete rebuild we're doing all the background stuff which is funny like I said we're getting R we're get moving on getting rid don't take that majority we're getting rid of players that you know aren't really part of the future plan so that's all good and of course he's going to come in and say look I'm really really happy the squad but he's also come out and said that he wanted one right so you know um we'll watch and see and if we don't get it we we'll keep our fingers crossed because no Club ever no Club stops buying players every Club will you know keeps going we will bring in new players eventually it will happen eventually whether it happens in time for you know for some people but for me I'd want one or two in before the window closes but he's he's kind of com in and said look it's not being a yes man it's he was going to say that because that's the fact like if you wake up tomorrow morning and you've only got x amount of food in the cover what you going to be happy with that because you're not getting that's your only that's it that's all you're getting you know so he's going to say that to a degree but um he'll also be keeping an eye on his phone I think from Michael he was waiting for Texas to come into the training ground we've got something on the on the boil here and but again I think it would be right right it'll be a nice way of doing it I mean again it'll blow everyone's certain people not blow everyone um certain people will get angry at me going well [ __ ] it let's just run it then you know I mean if we're not going to be able to do it then let's just go with what we have and uh streamline it a bit which is what we're doing getting Ace tight Squad together everyone knows what their job is everyone knows that they're part of the team you know not this Chelsea stuff with 470 players out there you know we've got a tight Squad and then we can reassess it it's not ideal of course it's not but um I'm happy to go with what we have and sometimes that brings the best out of you know players that might not have been used previously I'm just looking for silver linings on it so I think that and also you know what I like too and this is something that I I mean like I just like when sometimes players take opportunities and make the most of them and you know and you're you're able to witness it you know in essence you know like but just didn't I was gonna say I'm sure most of us didn't think that K Quanza was going to be a Surefire player that could possibly be a starter on this team not many of us had that being oh he would surmount um Kate's place as being the preferred starter on this club you know but we witnessed that there were times when I heard people last year saying that Bradley should start yeah heard times last year when I heard Bradley should start over possibly one of the best right backs in the in the world in trenti that was going a bit far wasn't it the Bradley fever got to some people a bit most didn't it they were like s them we don't need Trent we have Brad calm down there calm down yeah I was just like whoa wait a minute you know got the best Bradley's play but hey let's uh let's pump the brakes you know yeah yeah the baby with the bath water you know yeah we we like I said last night when we were doing that thing where the guy had like you know the players and I was so I just love the fact that we've got one of the best in the world if not the best in the world and then being backed up by one of the best young right backs in the world one of the best up in common I think it's perfect I just love that we have because they're almost interchangeable in terms of the attack and output if you lower the the level of the team that you're playing against you know so um it but it was just like when we did the the BBD thing and we were laughing at your man putting in Trent or not Phillips but that is kind of where we are so we do we do need to have a double kind of um double fingers crossed for vbd if we don't sign right anybody so right right and and and don't get twisted we we I think we all would like to see you know quality players brought to the team absolutely you know I I think one of the things again I think one of the things we I tried to express intimately was that like when you try to have this conversation about Plan B as they put it because it was so funny like everyone brought up oh well we don't have we never have a plan B we never have a plan B and I'm like well wait a minute we went for casso we went for which could have be arguably Plan B but we went for both of those players and got ended up getting endo and end up getting a comparable uh uh DM for you know who who who definitely played uh played a valuable portion of of the season for us or part in the season last year now was that is that the end all Beall in the sense of saying Endo is the is the DM for the future going forward no I'm not saying that at all but what I am saying is that he played a part last year and he was he was a he was a decent uh stop Gap as people like to put you know for that position at the time you know um it's just a matter of like sometimes you hear these these like takes and you're just like they're not they're somewhat disingenuous with the the the way that they go about the things they talk about oh well you know uh we're depending on gra Birch and blah blah blah and all stuff about being the DM and then comparing him to um comparing him to I don't olvia and comparing him to all these different like players that from or T CH many was brought up at one point and I'm just like r b wasn't even with the team when when we won for to to many you know it's like let's get a little sense of like you know pushing the misinformation aside and kind of like have an honest conversation that's all well look I mean sometimes I know language can be I mean I was triggered last night by someone using the word h in terms one of my opinions and I've never said that word about anybody you know there can be a difference of opinion just because you don't rate somebody as much but a stop Gap is sounds a bit like I'd say more like a temporary sound harsh yeah words can sound harsh yeah a a temporary hire basically right you know a guy come in he can do a job like you don't get to come to Liverpool as some kind of uh Joker pick you know like you have to be able even an endo that comes in and is a temporary higher stop Gap uh whatever you want to call it um you still have to be at a level to play for Liverpool Football Club we don't just bring in randomers and buite them you know we okay it's it was no nobody had ever most people hadn't heard of the guy but we we brought in a guy you know we brought in a guy that's pretty much yeah look he's not in someone's I didn't say comparable I said comparable but like but he was good enough good someone that served a purpose and like served the role that we needed him it wasn't like it was a negative to have him in the position it wasn't like oh we're better off just playing someone else instead of utilizing Endo Endo he could get on the pitch that's what I'm saying you don't get on the pitch for your organ okay is he is he the best player we've ever bought absolutely not cor Seasons there 20 players we bought that are better than Endo does that make I mean but how many players are able yeah how many players are good enough to be signed by Liverpool in the first place by clock right you know so but again yeah he he is the guy that for me is the one that is you know he's the one that gets upgraded you know and that's your kind of main guy into squ your main transfer into Squad but this is all very Surgical and precise now at the moment and what we need and what we want so it's not a scatter gun approach and if you don't have a scatter gun approach you have that laser guided roach then you know you're not going to get linked with loads of names and we're trying to bring in loads of people right and I can get that too the argument was put out there like oh well Liverpool have gone into the market to get a six um uh went into the market multiple in multiple uh summer transfer summer Windows they've gone into the market to acquire a six and albeit they've gone into the market to acquire a six meaning that obviously they're trying to replaced the high quality world class at 1.6 that we had in Fab uh big up to guazi Big up to quasi my guy um someone smuggled someone smuggled a phone in quasi did they yeah don't get don't get caught with a phone in with the Contraband right you might end up in the hole man you might end up in the hole I put enough money on his books that he can make he can make calls so it's all good it's all good but um we um but we have tried to go into the market to get a six that's what I'm trying to get across and I get that we have incidentally incidentally before you move on from that had we gone and landed that 100 million kaiso deal right just say he had uh swerve Chelsea and gone yeah yeah I'll take some of that CL love you know I mean obviously it's it's just hypothetical but I mean he's not as super myy type right no he's not do you know I'm getting that I mean you put that conversation up you put that argument into the conversation and people all of a sudden scramble and start throwing out scatterbrain like style like uh deductions because you're right n like a good B like some of these players or some of these DMS we've gone for have been different styles of DMS and on top of that and on top of that this coach utilizes the six a little bit differently than originally klopp did and even when K adjusted and was trying to you know uh transition into a more um zubba meni style if you want to call it that you know kind of like you know a controller styled six that's what I'm calling it at least now I'm calling it a controller I think like what I like to look for where I think that this coach or this club is going with Direction with its six is having a player that control Tempo control can control the ball as in you can give him the ball whether it's whether it's from one box and be able to he can progress it from box to box but also be able to progress it through his dribbling or progress it through passing and I think that you can see that graen Burge has those skills so that's why I think he could be a good controller for our six not a destroyer not a destroyer not a because bring up bring up doesn't really play a six really anymore in in his career you know he used to be a he's played six at one point but doesn't really play a six plays more like an eight you know like but go ahead Jose what pops is saying there he said last season we would have won the league with kaisa now I think that's a show it's a very big show um it's a very big show for certainly it would have I was all far the um what would you call it the reuniting of cedo and mallister because as we've seen the success they've had they had a Brighton so now yeah I was being a little bit kind of um you know just I don't know what's word mischievous with that I have absolutely no doubt that if we had bought 100 million pound 110 million CIS last year uh arnest slot wouldn't be sitting there going what do you want me to do with this guy he would definitely know how to use him and get a out of I don't doubt it at all but I'm just wondering if he was on the market now uh would would slot want the Sayo for this role I'm not sure if he would that this is just getting into the Weeds on you know this is getting into the weeds H you know would he be the main type of role yeah yeah I know yeah I'm call myself uh yeah yeah yeah I know yeah yeah no I know I just I was kind of trying to I I think he definitely could I'm reading pops's points yeah they are it's his points that that I'm making out of um I just think it would have been interesting to see uh what slot how slot would use as I say though in this because he can kind of do more than just that but we I I I don't read like people like it really annoyed me when I mean it really freaking annoyed me way more than it should when after two games or three games like when laia was injured when he went to Chelsea and he got injured and he was sitting in SS people are like oh we dodged a bullet on him so what the hell are you talking about yeah hell are you talking I know I know he could still turn out to be an excellent footballer so can laia Lavia could be that's what I'm talking about Lavia that's what I'm talking about Lavia people I was say cedo too well Cav was more with the injury but like C you know yes yeah no so that's what I saying he was injured and people oh we dodged a bullet on him it's like the guy hasn't even played yet just because he's gone to Chelsea oh we dodged the bullet so like I wouldn't it's kind of like United at the moment like any player that went there went and they were like they look like [ __ ] I wouldn't really judge it too hard because it's Chelsea like there's a lot of really good players have gone there and look like absolute dog tart you know the same with man united it's they're bad broken clubs so this idea that oh look at him OB we dodge a bullet he hasn't been very good or he's been injured I don't know I I think he he would have been probably be prettyy good if he come to Liverpool you know the same with um the same with team of wner I ow Teo wner would have worked under club like he had a complete disaster iny I thought he probably would have worked well at our club klopp would have gotten the best at them you just sometimes you go to a different Club yeah um doesn't work out yeah it doesn't it doesn't necess always work out and you know and again you have to have play sometimes when you go for these players you have to have players that buy into the um into the direction of what the club wants like as in some players are going to get there and they're not going to do what you hear Trent say where he goes wherever wherever the the gaffer puts me I'm I'll play there you know what I mean some players are like you either play me at this position or you don't play me at all and you move me on you know so like um yeah I I'm interested to see what we can get from these players that I believe more so than not I mean winning certainly has an incredible effect on you when it comes to like uh you know improving your your confidence in in the team or in in the vision that that you're putting your um your worth into um so I'd like to see that actually uh be be put be put to uh put to question here um yeah yeah and mount just quickly pops the same Vernon gager Mason Mount too I think Pops I think he was would have been an absolutely brilliant player for C perfect Club Midfield but yeah but again Mason Mount has not not he's not been pulling up trees when it comes to uh you go to United know time at United he looks you know that transfer was just wrong from the start it just looked wrong from start was like he's he's going where yeah that's you know you know what Brian too there was so like I remember I I met one of my I met my uh he called himself I think Dr Doom he called himself or something like that like my Arch one of my Arch nem is Mike dos on on a beian red show and you know he was uh bringing up how like he's bringing up uh the fact that he doesn't think he's like a new coach isn't going to you know make a team play better and he's it's not going to do you know it's not going to make I I was like what are you talking about that's a silly silly silly comment of course a new coach a new coach is gonna gonna make a could make a team play better he can make a team play worse in that whatever he put whatever he's trying to make the team play or do as a tactician is gonna have an impact on the abilities or what you see on the pitch with the players you know so it's like kind of like a head scratch the take that that was going with but he was trying to say basically that you know that the um without new players kind of thing without right he was just basically trying to say that the new coach was going like as in if you think this new coach is all of a sudden going to bring about like an improvement on like uh availability an improvement on like you know on their Fitness and they anything I was like I think it will like different practice um mechanisms that they utilize you know um the intensity that they call for on the pitch whether it's during TR training or on the actual pitch the presence of like how you're trying to become more of a controller uh controlling um formation as opposed to a high intense always press press press press press it's not necessarily I guess in the way that we press now is we certainly still press but we press in a different different format in how we press we try to like force the pl we give the time from the force the second pass and then press it's like an interesting um process I've actually watched quite a bit of different um uh breakdowns on how the tactics are being done by some of the some of the one um station and channels that you recommend out there often as well so yeah just this like I was um someone was asking me last night like um trap Joe he was saying like why um he said I want why why don't you talk about tactics and I was saying look I used to be a lot more into tactics I was never a big tactics guy but I was a lot more into it um but these days because tactics and coaching and all that and everything goes has become so more kind of you know Hightech and you there's a lot more to it and there's a lot more involved in it I just kind of I'm not really able to to get to it at that level so I just don't really talk about it mainly because there's so many better people out there that know so much more about it and understand it much better than I do not even guys people that are in the chats people that come on channels so I kind of just have drawn back a little bit from it because some of the people out there if you get into a conversation with you realize you'll be in a conversation with someone who really knows what you're talking about and for me I don't really want to get too deep I like it I like it but I don't want to get too kind of deep deep into it because it yeah some of the stuff that they do these days yeah people be oh no this isn't when we counter breath that's when we counter breath and we do it from this own and that on okay cool I'm out I'm out you know it's like yeah yeah yeah no it's very interesting like how a lot of sometimes even even uh the the actual like uh visions that they have or or the actual tactics that they're used can change it can kind of like you know change on the fly at times you know with some coaches I like I like watching the breakdowns I like watching the breakdowns of and knowing myself what's going on but I don't like getting into kind of detailed discussion I feel you I I you know what Brian you know what I enjoy most is like when when people or some of the breakdowns that I watch or some of the breakdowns like the master classes that you that I that I watch sometimes um when they point out things that you might not have really recognized or maybe they point out things that the camera like the actual television camera that you're you know the feed that you're watching the the parts and points that you don't get to see you know I remember you talked about how there used to be on one of the channels that you watch over there um how that you could you could do like it showed you multiple angles of the pitch you know what I mean and you could get like a like the full ver ver vision of the pitch or you could possibly get like a more you know a focused player come you could get player come and all that stuff yeah yeah yeah I I I I like when that is brought because that answers a lot of questions of like how did that space open up what did that player do to create you know to um get past his guy you know what did like because like you might see the on the ball progress but a lot of the off theball work is important and people don't really sometimes give that credit that's unfortunate but you've also this the thing you've also got there's also so many people out there like pops are saying everybody now is an accountant and and this and that and um but there are also a lot of people uh also out there on YouTube who they they just they only watch smaller parts and there's nothing wrong with that you know that's what most people used to be they just used to watch the game on a Saturday there was no internet there was no media um world all around whether was the papers but the way it is now it's football 247 most people just just watch the game at the weekend and that was it you know they didn't really know about the training and the tactics and and all they really kind of there's still a lot of people out there that they just don't look they don't have time busy lives busy jobs and football isn't their be all an Endor so they want to watch the game have want watch the game enjoy yeah about it right be entertained and you know and then and then if not then they'll then you'll certainly hear about it but I agree I'm one of those guys last year I used to do uh tactics Tuesdays you know and like break down a lot of the stuff because I I enjoy enoyed figuring out like how our team was developing how what was making our team win or get from you know point A to point B in the progression of of the year I thought it was important so and I like sharing those those those kind that's why you need to balance that's why you need to balance like you can't have like something that's just all oh it's tactics and stats and tactics and stats like I think stats are there like you just said it like for me stats are there to answer question questions they're not there to tell you what this so if if it's like you're looking at some guy or you're looking at some going I'm thinking this I'm thinking that hang on let me look at the numbers on this and then the numbers can inform you you know what I mean I don't that's it's not the whole itest it's like for me stats are there to answer questions they're not something that you show me the stats show me the stats show me the stats no no look come on I want like as again as I've gotten older especially doing this show I've just gotten more into Focus now is learning as much as I can about the history of the game and things that have gone beyond to kind of inform how we've gotten to where we are because we didn't just arrive here yesterday we really didn't there's everything is a process and just I want to know how we got to where we are and why we like the most perfect example is the tiar HRI hand ball against irland leading to leading to FIFA um speed running um V into the game you know things like that like how we got to where we are is what really interests me now and watching the game of course but um that's me because like I say if I want to know talk tactics and all that there's people I listen to and go look I'll go to TF or I go to someone else and go these are the boys because they'll educate me I can't educate anybody when it comes to tactics I can maybe throw in some random trivia and things you haven't heard before but yeah I'm not going to be able to teach anybody anything no no I no I feel you I no I appreciate the um um the show as Pop said earlier I I did appreciate the show uh the opportunity to be online uh for some for certain aspects Alone um and because primarily because some of the the conversations that we had were were um shows that I wanted wanted to do but I they put we've been putting them on the back burner for a little bit for a little while and we haven't gotten to them one of the one of the shows I wanted to do was um I'm stating it now is that I wanted to do basically because I keep hearing this whole like and again this is why I tell you Brian why I brought that that word ambition up on Room 101 I keep hearing this word ambition thrown about so freely ambition is put to PR ambition is associated to pretty much everything that you hear when it comes to this team the owners when it comes to the players when it comes to even the fans at times you know and um and the the followup to that word was how Arsenal is an ambitious club and how they are the the basically the um basically the uh definition of what ambition is and I was just like okay I guess I mean like this is the same Arsenal that like you know hasn't won anything in the last I don't know how many how many years has it gone on now because they haven't won a trophy the only trophy that I think lost I think lost was still on the TV the last time they won something I think maybe like season two of The Office the original something like that there you go there I think yeah Bill Clinton I'm thinking Bill Clinton Bush that's what I'm thinking possibly you know like if it comes to if it comes to a real like a title title yeah like you know like the Prem title or something like that yeah I mean obviously they haven't they've never won any ever won a European campaign when it comes to like the Champions League so um so yeah but that's yeah what's amb 34 million on Mickey Marino tell me about tell me more about ambition I swear some some some uh some of the conversations get pretty funny get pretty pretty funny but yeah it um I I do have some uh I do have some really really cool um uh cool shows to bring into the into uh into the works I think because of these conversations because often you know facts are just that they're facts and it's um one of the facts is that um Arsenal until until late have definitely they've definitely raised their amount of money they've spent on the team but um that is taking a big big gamble taking a huge gamble on them winning progressively getting to a place where they win the title and actually increase their because they primarily sell they primarily and I'm not going to give away the whole entire show but primarily they focused or were reliant on ticket sales as being one of their biggest Revenue makers that sounds weird but it really was no that's why they built that Stadium yeah that's and then they had to pay it off so they took a big gamble by building a big stadium and then they had to pay it off right and then then they had it's like it's it's interesting when you hear the ambition thing sometimes when people try to break down the numbers I'm like I don't think you like and I'm and I'm not saying that I'm some like you know accountant or something like that but I've I've actually seen and and been I've been um humble enough to listen to those that do know and and hear how it is broken down to understand oh now I get it that kind of way but but they the the thing that always kind of I found funny and it isn't funny I thought they did something that we couldn't do for a long time they did but they um they they had this whole thing about you know finishing forth was the main thing because basically Banger said to those guys or those guys said to Banger look uh we're going to build our own stadium and we're going to pay for it which means you can't buy players basically right for like 20 years nearly and he was like right okay cool he kind of signed up for that he he went with that and no one's ever really done that um that much but they were their whole thing was they always qualify for the championsship they went from being Vieira and bur camp and HRI putting it up to United to be in we're going to do this and once that's done it's going to be 10 years of H but then we'll be super cool after that they always qualified for the champion that was their whole thing but I've never known a club any club and I'm not slagging them off but this qualified for the Champions League so often and been in there so many times that's had so little impact on the club that's that's such a big you know not even to go I mean they got that one final against um Barcelona and that's pretty much it they have their European Cup history is is comedically T it's it would be hard it's it's almost difficult to have this level of you know not even a couple of other final appearances on top of what they've had you know just absolutely nothing one of the biggest clubs in England and their inability to even get near it like Chelsea shamed them like Chelsea have won more EUR Chelsea have won I don't like saying it but they've won some European cups it's not nice to say but I mean Arsenal's inability to even touch the side when they had that great team via bar Camp HRI it's it's just strange I don't know what it is I always choke I just said they're allergic to Europe they are just allergic Europe Cup they just are there's something about it there's something about their allergy continu I hope thaty and and let me just say this my disdain for the gooners as pops was just putting out there is primarily because if you ever talk to aunar aunar will try to I still call them Gunners by the way I still call them Gunners I don't know when they start to call themselves gooners I still call them Gunners to me okay we'll be doing it we I like to do um game reviews the day after because what I do with there are at least on my part on my game review is I know often we can get rushed into the emotions of the game and kind of like you know just kind of focus in on like certain parts and points but not like see other things that were a part of the game and part of the um you know the buildup or whatever it is you know and um I like to watch the game a second time I like to watch it especially when we win I do watch the games even if we lose it it's not easy but I do watch them back even when we lose um but um I might hit fast forward a couple of times but I mean like uh but I do watch on and then by that I I'll like uh get a good good read on like you know a little unbiased read on it especially like because you know when you're at like maybe like your local pub you know and you're watching the game you might get rushed into the emotions or you kind of get like influenced by by your surroundings into like possibly thinking oh that was worse than it really was and then when you're actually able to watch the second time you be like oh okay I get why he did that or oh oh that was you know that was because of this or that so we will be doing a player uh review for sure um yeah Wayne's World Wayne's World all right so um let's get into some excellent um uh picks here I'll bring this up here as well um I'm going to show you my picks I'll allow for Irishman to kind of like um you know pick and choose what he would have done different on the Fly here um if that's okay with you Irishman yeah so this is my predicted lineup for tomorrow um I have basically a good number of the players that we did see starting against ipswitch it's it's almost like a reprint of the um of the starting lineup except for I did start ebo in this game um I was I want to start and I'll be honest with you I do want to start um Nunes in this game um only because I'd like to see him draw off of the energy but then again I could also see him being a sub in this game uh and saying J wasn't in training what's that people were saying J was wasn't in training was that does anybody in the chat know about that because people were saying that J wasn't seen in training that's that's the cas that's not thing that's not I was I was waiting for an update on that because I was watching yeah beijan pops and Barnes earlier on and Chris came in and he said no no J in training or J not seen a training now sometimes that just means that the pictures don't show them right whatever they were watching didn't show them right and I kind of looked on Google on Twitter just to see you know J LFC I didn't see yeah I see Pop saying he already was and he wasn't so yeah so he heard both things people saying he was people saying he wasn't so yeah I know does anyone know the reasons why he wouldn't possibly be in there yeah so just say going with let's just say for the sake of argument let's just assume he is fit because there is no thing there is no confirmation that he's out I I'd go with that I I would go to I would go with that yeah I didn't hear about any I didn't get an update on any injury for um for Diego I can double check and make sure but I didn't didn't see any or hear about injuries that's the thing I was it was a bit vague at the time and I didn't see anything coming up like jot out kind of [Music] thing um let me see uh but uh again I went well as I look this up for you guys I have uh Diego starting obviously if Diego is unable or isn't going to be available for the club um that'll be that'll again be very very uh troubling because you know um he's a player that's gotten arrest he's a player that you know um uh it'll just bring up the the doubters and the and certainly the the the certain haters as well that will come out to say that he um you know he can't stay fit move move on let's move on let's move on from but um especially someone that did score in our first game and has saying the haters and all that but it's sort of like well they can turn and say well is he or is he not injured today if he is injured it's like no no we do not need this we we've been saying it like he uh with full season to degree no I think it's speculation I think it's speculation Liverpool on Liverpool FC they do give like they do give injury updates and the only injury update that they have that was updated as as of yesterday at least was uh for K Quanza it says the center half was forced to mist trining on Wednesday due to an injury head coach Arie slot on August 23rd unfortunately I think it was Tuesday that he picked up a bit of an injury so he couldn't train on Wednesday let's see if he can train today meaning um on 23d that's when um he was giving that update um as of right now that's the only um names on the actual um on their official you know website style um yeah so we go we'll work on the the assumption that CH is fit in terms of team team um picks we'll work on the Assumption he is fit so yeah if anything you know what if he was or if he isn't um you know look uh I'd like to see Nunes um get get some playing time in this game um he was if he was or if he's not was but if let's say he's like you know he he's fit to play but he's not necessarily you know you want to kind of monitor his minutes type thing then let's get him in there let's uh let's see what he can do and then you know and then bring Nunes that's the that's the great thing about having the uh the depth that I believe that we have at certain areas at least and being able to say okay well then yeah Nunes is someone that you could see you know Play Play that um that front nine for us so I that I'd like to think so I mean yeah but you go go through go through your your picks yeah I know that um I know that I also have Quanza still on the bench yes but I think that if it was questionable on the 23rd chances are he would most likely I think I don't know if anyone saw him in training or not but um but I do do have him as a selection on the bench for us um I don't like that Norman I don't like that Norman is saying that he said there the club are do Morton and bedich all missed the under 21s and that all three are for sale like permanently they're look I mean oh is that what he's saying yeah btic I think I mean at 19 years old that's just way too young especially from what we've seen from the player it's kind of way too young to give up on a player like that I think personally but is that I'm just wonder Norman I mean is that kind of the word on the street kind of thing or is that probably would be completely dependent on Gomez leaving I don't think there's no chance going and spend you know close to ER record fee MH on a on a bloody brand weight not even a mar gay just absolutely no how about for what Norm is suggesting he prefers nasio yeah I think there's guys out there on the continent and it's not because they're flashy names or foreign names or different names but that they are potentially again every transfer is a risk but potentially Jose as good as the likes of the gay here or rway that shouldn't cost you more than 50 30 40 50 that kind of price range yeah I just think like this isn't am I this going to sound kind of evil and like some of the stuff that I don't like about football but if you got a head coach and you got three or four guys out there that are really the best in the world identifying talent and bringing it to the manager's door and saying these are guys we can sign and we we sifted through you know all the players and these are guys we can bring in like you you concentrate on coaching the team because you're brilliant at that that's what you're brilliant as you know and you do the 190 minutes every Saturday so okay we're bringing you in the these guys like I'm kind of okay with that I know it's a new way of doing with it well it's not that new but it's not new on the content at all but when it's done right and you've got serious people in charge making proper decisions I I'm kind of okay with that I want if you have an elite coach with an elite recruitment team and an elite uh football director then shorty that should all work you don't need a manager who is brilliant at identifying players a manager who wants to run everything from top to bottom you don't really need that because clubs are so big now when clubs are smaller and more centralized you could run a club a manager could run everything it's like these days if you want a manager to be involved in everything it's like well okay we've got a meeting in Japan about commercial no it's impossible it's impossible impossible it's impossible those those days I I I'm telling you there's um there was I don't know if you ever got to that um interview with King Kenny but there was a King Kenny interview and he was speaking about how like you know he used to he likes to go and go to the games and and watch the Players and like kind of get like you know again assess the players with his own eyes you know and um they were just speaking on how that day of those days of you know you getting evaluations on players like that are pretty much my opinion but um I think that you know with with the case being uh I think with a lot of these players I'll say it said it before I say it again I think a lot of these players whether it is less so with Trent but more so with uh with Mo and with Virgil being at their age and being at the their stage of their careers I think that it gets down to them as them doing their own personal assessment of the team as to how the team has uh bonded with the new coach what they think their um you know aspirations are their viable aspirations are for getting titles uh or silverware this year are and um if the if the future looks bright you know if the if it doesn't they'll make a they'll make a concerted effort to say thank you for your time but maybe maybe my time is done that's just my my assessment AR you want to give us give a shot which well Trent um that's or just with uh with Mo with mo i i i Trent oh yeah yeah yeah Trent I think it's I'd agree with um saying about no oh yeah no no it's cool that gamble um to run down their contract to a free agency like mbapp whereas like we said earlier on mbappe could break his leg the week before he's dued to sign Real Madrid and that deal is off but because These Guys these top guys have made so much money already they now prepared to take that c back in the day it was always about having two years left on your deal you always wanted to have two years left on your deal so you could say to your bank manager like this say back in the day when you're earning 200 Grand a week a year 500 Grand a year you could say to your bank manager that you need a mortgage I have a contract for two years right you can say to your wife you can say you know this was like yeah we have I have a job for two years you know it's like oh hang on your job finishes tomorrow what's your income after that zero well you're not getting a mortgage you're not getting a loan for he you know people actually forget even footballers not that long ago you used to have to get mortgages you know they couldn't just go walk into an estate agent put three million quid on the table and go I'll buy that fancy house no they actually have to get loans so having the security of a long-term contract told your family told your your your accountants and all that that you have security it's all it was always about security that's why they always wanted to extend their deal as quickly as possible now the landscape in football has changed to a degree where some of these top guys that should be going for the big money are so secure that they can actually take that gamble run their contract down knowing that that contract is the difference between them getting 10 to 20 now mbappe got a 100 million signing on fee but maybe a 10 million signing on fee or an 8 mil now that's just a straight up lum sum that ain't no Wages that's just a straight up lum some sign an on Fe that you're not going to get that if you're on a transfer right so this is why some of these guys are looking at that Virgil nose double my money as a free agent double my money as a free Ag and you get pick where you want to go period like you get to decide where you go you are exactly you are fully in control again you're taking that risk pushing you know like an arranged marriage in front of you you get to push where you no you're of course you're taking out risk that like you have this huge ridiculous opportunity that's been opened up to them that would never have existed before oh absolutely you can push your your that much longer because of more yeah the opportunities of America the opportunities of Saudi Arabia the opportunities that exist maybe in in um you know in their Hometown maybe the the club that they they used to play or that they grew up loving as a child you know can offer them some mainly Saudi Arabia but mainly Saudi the guys we're talking it's the Saudi thing it's like going over there and getting like like I'm saying some of these guys can still the guy this year at least this year yeah I don't see anything that Simas has done you know um that's that's jumped him above or Beyond a fully fit and a fully you know match uh in match Rhythm Robo if we're playing with a left back so I yeah to me it was a silly question not a silly question but an obvious answer um but I think there's a lot of for some reason uh an eagerness to see some people move on for some reason that they don't need to move on these are the guys that you really really miss when they're gone they are they really are these are the guys that you miss people act like these people like these players the especially some of the levels these players have achieved and and and are holding on to as if they're so it's so easily replaceable you know it's yeah no one has say played them until they're 4 no one the same play like like it while while they can still do the job and it's not doing doing the job to a higher level you don't it's it's very much baby with the bath water a little bit yeah you know yeah these guys are still able to do it yeah crab I mean I've been say look this is the stuff like I've had to Temp temper my stuff a lot on YouTube because you can't be kind of a bit of a dick about somebody because then you hear about it for 10 years but yeah costess is nowhere near come on let's he's not yeah is nowhere near has proven to be able to like you know uh have his moments he's been proven to certainly yeah certainly proven to um to feel feel like um fill a role here and there but to say that I'm going to to say that you want to like make simic cast your Bonafide number one and move on from Robo you know that's a little bit have you not been watching yeah that's a little bit far-fetched and that's why when you hear these takes sometimes from from these chicken littes it's just one of those things where I'm just like man you gotta pump your brakes bro yeah we talked we talked about that earlier R it's exactly what we talked come on I think Phil I think Philip says it well Robo may be passed his best which is understandable because I mean you know there are parts and points when you know he could say he's passed his best but if if Bravo was if if his best was 100 even though he's not maybe at 100 being at 92 or 94 is still exceptional you know and that's why it's like it's one of those cases where you know his even not at his best is better than good majority of of of what you you would be getting from other other players in the league even even outside of the league and uh again um I I just don't understand sometimes the outright disrespect some of these players get I would just say Rob Robo is almost certainly past his Peak as a footballer yeah like he's probably yeah either just reached or just P his Peak right right like like his not a new Plateau or a new Peak or something yeah exactly exactly but that does right yeah that doesn't mean that he's not still I mean just yeah again maybe he comes from H he's you know cost a few million quid oh he was only good under clock he he was only just a runner who could cross a ball he's a system player yeah something like that yeah but to me again he is still just a um he is the guy that will always just be a left back he's not someone to ever see transitioning to be you know a center half as well I don't think yeah yeah that was a difficult that was probably a very difficult I mean again I know like that was probably a very difficult um you know uh transformation that he had to go and and try to perform last year in by playing a virtual you know left Center back and still sometimes bombing forward as a left back and then also playing as a defensive left back as well and taking all the taking you know wearing multiple hats that was not an easy role um I know that now late as of late we've seen the the fullbacks play more as what we saw them play Under the early stages of a kop system which is like you know just primarily playing on the wing um but yeah I'm I'm I'm I'm still optimistic that we can get some exceptional play from our Scotsman oh yeah he's again like I say you you get rid of somebody like him who I mean when is the last
