How to find your RURAL ROUTE address using USPS

hello this is Dominique for 644 online.com thank you for joining us we are going to have a quick look at how to look up your rural route and I am going to use um the USPS website this is something that you can do as soon as you are able to to start um establishing you as a separate entity from your straw man so what you want to on the USPS website is go to Quick tools you'll C click um look up a zip code and then you want to click find by address and then you want to put in an address here I'm using the Maryland Secretary of State that's what I have in front of me so the address is 16 Francis Street um um first floor and the city is Annapolis state is going to be Maryland um 21 41 and I had to find a browser where my address doesn't automatically pop up okay so here is the address for 16 Francis Street um as you see here you have a carrier route number that's one of the numbers you need and you have a delivery point code that's the other number that you need Okay so let's look over here at our um USPS um publication which I will put a link to this so that you can have a look at it and this tells you how to format your address for a rural route so the rural route number would be this um I'm sorry this carrier route number which is c012 and then your box number is going to be that um delivery point code which is 99 so in this case for this address the row route number is going to be RR c012 box 99 so this is very easy to find out and you can use this um this look up a zip code to look up anything that you need anything you're trying to figure out when you want to convert it to your rural route and then of course this little handy publication will be helpful um I feel moving forward um thanks for listening and we'll see you in the next video
