[Music] in 2025 we have two important anniversaries one is Rael and the second is Ravel what do I mean by this I mean March 7 it will be 150 years since the birth of moris Rael but in 2025 is also the 50th anniversary of the auditorium Rael where we're sitting now where we perform our concerts and one of the concerts in which we want to mark this anniversary happens in fact on the day itself of the 150th birth day of Morris Rael so we're putting together a very special program with Peace by Rael called alborada combined or coupled if you will with the Spanish flare of the Bolero by ibraim Malu who has written in that style based on that a trumpet conter which we will play and to round off the first half another piece the three cornate head by Def written much in the same era uh and in the same idiom that Ravel wrote and for the second half something that I've done before put together in this way which is a beautiful celebration if you will of the Walts first the sort of nostalgic looking back on the time of the Walls and More innocent age by Strauss looking back as he did in the Rosen Cavalier and then the total fabulous destruction of the walls that Ravel gave us with Laval where he shows us that this is really no longer the era of the walls in the most Exquisite way that I know and I'm very happy that we will bring this program here in Leon we're also bringing it to Paris so we are very happy here in the orchestra to be able to to present to you
