by the police several times several times um I I actually I've never had any bad experiences but I know people that have and um it's always crazy to me don't it always look like every time it's like an election year is like elections happening couple of things be happening I be I'll be noticing like every time um there's always some type of school there's always some type of school uh gunmen right and then there's that there's several things that be happening but it's always these big really big emotional things to to get people in an emotional place and I always wonder like is this on purpose like what's what's happening like what be going on but then I be like are they would they be willing to risk children's lives just for the sake of a of a of a um election and so then my humanity is like nah they wouldn't do that but then my mind I'm like nah they would so I don't know it always just it always just seems odd to Me Maybe maybe the stuff is happening throughout the years as well but they just highlighted during these times cuz then you know there's so just this past week within like the past week or two there's been a couple of um school shootings that that we've that's kind of been in the in the um in the news right and I don't know it's just crazy cuz then they start talking about guns and then they start talking about how we need more guns laws and guns need to be taken away and look at the people who getting guns and all this and that and then then we be we have we have a um a black celebrity getting pulled over by the police and being taken out of his car and handcuffed and now we going to make a big deal out of that as well right cuz it was Tyreek Hill that's the thing if it wasn't Ty Hill all the football people are are upset and up in arms because Tyreek all he was doing was just going to the football game he was he was on his way to the game so what ended up happening was people started recording his traffic stop right and um you saw you saw a bunch I saw a bunch of very nice cars so there was other players that was taking the same route and they pulled over as well I guess and they kind of you know they kind of helped them out or what I don't know exactly what happened I need to see the the um I want to see the dash cams or the the the um the cameras that the police be having because I want to see I want to see exactly what happened I saw a little bit of the Stop and it looked like it looked like he only rolled his window down just barely enough to hand them the information which which legally you don't have to roll your window all the way down for police you don't I don't think any state you H you're you're um I don't think any state you have to roll your window all the way down right but if you got dark tent and and all of that and you rolling it down just a little bit you might you might you might as a black man you might you know what I'm saying so but anyway I I think Tariq Hill is the wrong guy for us to be getting behind and and acting like he's uh you know some innocent victim man I do I think this if it was anybody if it was anybody else I know look the black people going to be mad at me the sports car this was a long time ago I think I was in my 20s but I was in a red sports car which you should never buy a red sports car U as a as a in your 20s insurance is High um you always GNA get pulled over you're going to get pulled over if you're in a red car I don't know if the red cars just look like they going faster or what what up JD JD 975 in the building cynical one how you doing good morning um but yeah it's it's just so anyway I pulled over right and at this particular time um I was driving I was driving and I think my license my license was suspended because I had I had a bunch of tickets and um back in the day man I uh this was I might I might even been like I might have been like this is my my early 20s so there was a moment in my life where um I had a bunch of tickets and I wasn't trying to pay the tickets it was like couple it was like you know how tickets you get some speeding tickets matter of fact I got a speeding ticket I know I got a I got a ticket driving somebody else's car me and my cousin bought one of one of his uncle's Cars one time and his his his his uh tags he had out ofate tags and um his tag like his you know the little tab that you buy the that got the year on it it was on his windshield cuz I guess whatever City he lived in they put it on the windshield instead of on the license plate in the back so I got a ticket for not having um insur I could we couldn't find none of his stuff in the car I don't even know why I was driving that car I shouldn't have been driving it but anyway matter of fact this was I was real young I think we was like 18 back back then but anyway I was driving a car and so um I got the ticket and I ended up not going to court so you know when you don't go to court you know the fees automatically and then this stuff just start adding up so I they they suspended my license and uh I just I just kept doing what I was doing I I I didn't go back to court for a minute what's up with you uh Third Ward what's up bro now we I'mma tell you I'mma tell you in just a second I'mma tell you just a second Cory it cost me 8K to get my license back God mine wasn't that much but it was like it was like five it was like it was up there Raj it was up there bro and so it was this so I was riding dirty for years right so this is my little Hood story I got I got a Hood story too so I was riding dirty for years me riding dirty just meaning I wasn't riding with no drugs or nothing cuz I wasn't into none of that but I was driving on suspended license for for a couple of years right yeah a couple of years c one cuz I wasn't F to pay I was going to pay that 4,000 it was like 4,000 or something I wasn't about to pay that I'm a young 18 19 20 year old I did nobody did nobody have no $5,000 to pay uh or even if we had it I wasn't paying I wasn't spending on no tickets I was going to go get fresh I was going to get my outfits together I was going to go get my my shoes I was about to pay 4,000 on no tickets right catch me I see y'all when I see y'all is what I was on yeah every 20s was wild JD JD said lightskinned Thug yo this is my story right so it was this one night I was driving so you know how when you driving and you know you hot or you know you know um anytime you drive a certain way you looking in your rearview mirrors a lot of black people just do this anyway but any of us anytime you've been driving and your license ain't been right you drive a certain type of way right um you try to make sure that you ain't at no stop lights you try to time them and make sure that you get all greens you know what I'm saying you looking in your rearview mirror at all times you know we know when them boys is behind us we know the lights we know the cars we know what they look like we try to avoid them at all cost cuz you don't want to be you don't want to be pulled behind you don't want to be you don't want a cop to pull behind you and just check your little uh run your tag you know cuz they do that so so I was I was you know what I'm saying I was I was surv I survived for like a couple years never getting stopped so the longer you don't get stopped the longer you like yo I'm good right so this one night man it was late and I wasn't even driving that far I I think I was just going I was going up the street or I was coming from somewhere and uh I was in this red red um sports car uh driving I wasn't I and I didn't speed I was I wasn't speeding or anything I didn't I didn't U break the law at all cuz you know I I wasn't was trying to get a cops any reason to stop me so I get stopped my license is bad um I don't even know if I had I don't even know if I had Insurance cuz you know when you when you license is bad they'll they'll like if you they'll like mess with your insurance and they'll put a lock they do all kind of stuff right so um I got pulled over and I was like dang I'm going to go to jail right yo th you feel me th said I ain't GNA lie I drove two years straight without Panda Speed Ticket my registration sticker was expired yes yes third day but check me out though yo third that night bro I just knew it I was like yo I I'm I'm was ready I was like yo okay they got me I'm going to jail right I'm going to jail so it was like three police cars that pulled me over and I was like what the so I um I roll all I roll my windows down cuz you know I roll all my window this and this is way before all of the um well we've had we had like um Rodney King and stuff like that right this is right doing this is right this might have been like right after Rodney King I think Rodney King was like what year was Rodney King y'all like 95 94 something like that this was a couple of years after Rodney King so I knew to P you know I wrote all my windows down which is what I do anytime especially if I got dark tent um anytime I get pulled over even if it's daytime I'll roll my windows down um all of them just so the cops won't have you know what I'm saying I just try to be I try to be as um as um unassuming as possible you know what I'm saying like I'm no threat at all like I I get my little white voice on be like hey hey got every officer everything all right I get that high pitch you know what I'm saying I'll be like I'll be like U is everything okay is it you know we're LIC whatever and I be oh yeah no worries no worry I got you I got I always have my I got I got my registration all my stuff right here I have it all ready before and I have a I have a extra license extra ID and I have all of that ready for them you know when they come to the door but uh anyway I knew I just knew what up Joey I knew I was going down like I was like dang I'm they got me it's been a it's been a good run I think I might have made a few phone calls in the car yo they got me I I'm I'm going be in I'm going to jail I'm going to jail so they pul me over two of them are on my driver on passenger side um two come on the on the driver's side the one guy come up he's looking around right my windows was all down I had very very dark I I actually had limo tin on this car so I automatically wrote it down so they couldn't see it but they had already seen it anyway so um he starts talking to me he starts asking me questions like where you coming from he a even ask me for none of my information where you coming from I was like oh I'm just coming from what's what whatever whatever where you going I'm going home my house is right here just right around the corner um blah blah blah so they so they leave and they come back they leave right and I'm like yo what the I didn't know what was going on man they got the bright lights it's late at night and um you know I think I was I think I was praying I was praying I was probably praying in Tong I wasn't praying in tongues yet I don't think I I didn't know how to do that yet but I was praying and uh I just didn't I didn't know what was happening but I just knew I was going to go to jail so they came back the cop told me um they had reports of um a red red sports car racing like driving very very fast um down the street and I was like no that's not me I'm not racing anyone I'm just I'm coming from but wherever I was coming from and I'm just going straight home I'm not I'm not racing I don't even I don't even race this car or anything I don't do anything you know I'm talking my Corey talk or whatever and so um and so they they looking around they was like all right okay they let me go y'all they let me go bro they let me go I was I was thanking God they didn't even they didn't even run my ID they didn't run nothing they didn't even ask me for ID or nothing right now I could have been mad like why they they profiling me man but I wasn't man I was thankful I was grateful and uh I use that and so they all they left so I guess they figured out it wasn't me or I wasn't the person they was looking for and U I was able to I just went on ahead and left but lightskinn privileges yeah yeah for sure cuz they could have did they could have they could have did me like Tyreek Hill they could have did me like Tyreek but bro after that after that I was like yo that was a sign to me that I need to go and get this ticket situation taken care of cuz I did not want to feel like that ever again and I was like that was God uh showing grace and favor to me and and I was able to get out of there and so shortly um I was a I went ahead and um took care of my license and I got my license back and ever since then I I I haven't had no issues at all um the last time I I think I got a speeding ticket I think I told y'all about that time my speeding ticket that I got I was going I was actually driving with other people they wasn't my they weren't I wasn't with them but y'all know like if you doing a road trip or if you on a freeway and you driving fast you try to find the fast cars and you just follow them in hopes that you don't get stopped but the cop the cop it was like four of us zooming we was doing like 100 100 miles an hour I was in a truck doing a 100 um following these following a couple of Mustangs with a couple of sports cars and um we was just zooming I was keeping up I was keeping up with him and we was flying um on the on the freeway but um I ended up getting pulled over and I even asked the I did my I did my same normal thing that I always do right um I pul I went ahead and pulled over I I I saw him we zoomed past him I was like dang he F to pull somebody over so everybody just kept driving fast I was driving fast I was like that he gonna stop somebody I didn't know who it was and he he GNA pull up behind me now I could have been mad and been like why you pull me over cuz I was the only black driver right but he could I don't think he could see I was black I had I had I had big 10 as well but um I pul I pulled on over man and um did my normal thing I wrote all my windows down and um he actually pulled on I pulled on to the right side he came around to the passenger side and um he liked my truck he was like man this is a this is a nice truck man this is this is this is I was like thank you man appreciate it appreciate it he said you know why I pulled you over right and I was like uh why and I started laughing and so the cop the cop was cool he started laughing he was like man you was doing 95 and I was like yeah but so was everybody else why you pull me over and I was laughing he was like I just I just I you was the biggest car I just I just picked you I was like dang so the cop ended up he ended up um cuz I was I was going criminal speed I was driving criminal criminal speed he could have he could have uh wrote me a he could have he could have took me to jail I was doing criminal speed uh he was was a cool cop I wasn't even in my I wasn't I was outside the city and um you know he gave me a uh he told me he was so cool he was actually like he didn't even want to write me the ticket but but he had to get he had to get one of us a ticket and I was like I understand I got you he said but you know just go in and you can either just pay and he was like I won't he didn't charge me criminally he actually bumped my ticket he bumped my speed down to like um 75 I think I was doing like a he bumped my T he bumped my speed down by like 30 by like 30 miles an hour he bumped my he bumped my speed down cuz I was doing a 100 I was doing about he clocked me at 100 so the other cars was probably going faster than me because um they was probably going like 105 but uh he was cool he just he had to give me a ticket I was like you know I was like if you don't want to give me one you know have to give me a t you know we just but he started laughing he's like N I got I got I got to give you at least something he said I don't want to you seem cool and whatnot so I took I you know I took the ticket and I think I I think I I just did like I did the little driveing school or whatever and um it was it was a couple hundred dollars but outside of that I don't I don't I don't be I don't be doing anything crazy with with the police so um I've had I've had all another time this happened I was doing I was in a school zone and I didn't realize I was in a school zone and I was doing I was doing like 30 miles over the school zone limit and y'all know them School Zone tickets is like double the School Zone tickets are double or triple and the cop there was another cop different cop and the crazy thing about this particular time I'm giving you all of my times I was pulled over but which it hasn't been many I haven't been pulled over a lot but this particular time I had my oldest I had my oldest son with me in the car and I told the cop I was like you know I rolled everything down had my stuff together and I was in another car this time I was in a different car and I told the cop I was like this is my son's first um experience with a police officer so hopefully it'll be a great experience for my son you know what I'm saying I said that I'll be spending game I'll be I'll be having game down on these on these people man I'll be you know what I'm saying I was like office sir I was like I'm glad I'm glad it's you that pulled me over this is my son's first opportunity um to be pulled over and you know I think a lot of stuff have been happening with police at this time and so I kind of I kind of I kind of put the police officer in a mind frame of you know having a good stop for the kid so you know so it it was a cool that cop he U he didn't give me a school zone ticket he just gave me a regular ticket so it wasn't double so I guess I guess I don't know I guess I've been I've been I don't know I've always been cordial um that the stop that I almost went to jail on I was I was in my team I was like and handcuffed and everybody is upset about it right um I talk aled about how every time it's an election year we always seem to have um either some type of police brutality or some type of police thing that we attach ourselves to or it's some type of school shooting or something that happens and I feel like you know we we're having both right now so my thing is is Tyreek Hill the right person for us to be backing in this situation do we care do y'all care that Tyreek Hill couple years [Music] ago put hands and feet on his pregnant wife do we care that Tyreek Hill couple years ago put hands and feet on his three-year-old child and broke his arm do we care about that does that matter have we forgotten did we do have we given him the foot football player Grace that we give the majority of the face and in the stomach okay he spent a night in jail and was charged with felony domestic assault and battery by Strang UL ation so he choked her he strangled her punched her in the face punched her in the stomach okay this and this was in 2014 actually this was in 2014 2019 I think was the thing with the kid 2019 was the thing with the kid and I I'll read that as well um looks like he got he got dismissed from Oklahoma State on football field and the track program they don't tolerate domestic violence or abuse okay U he played guilty to the charges and then he got a pre he got a plea agreement and he received three years of probation okay he paid $1,000 in fines um had to give a give a DNA sample and two years of State supervision okay proof of employment or student stat St and he was required to conduct a anger management course for 52 weeks okay in 2015 West Alabama allowed him to join their football team y'all see how this y'all see what I'm saying see how this works uh he only played one season for the Tigers and he entered into the draft 2016 okay now at the com oh he wasn't invited to the NFL combine to due to his arrest but the chiefs were willing to take the risk after he ran a 4.25 40 yard dash at pro day [Music] okay so so this is what I'm saying they didn't listen this is what happens though when dudes are super talented athletes and you they get away with things because of their athletic ability the behavior doesn't change right because why I'm I'm Tyreek Hill okay I literally I strangled I beat my pregnant woman wife right I punched her in the stomach while she was pregnant I punched her in the face and I strangled her okay all I had to do I paid $1,000 and I was on probation I was able to play football at another school and I was able to be dra temporarily losing custody of their son due to the the the charges of child abuse um the the the da could not prove who did what to the child okay the NFL said that they would wait until the Kansas City Department of Children and Families concluded their own probe of the of the allegations before conducting their own investigation okay [Music] so they they had a um we ain't got to go through we
