Jerry Jones feeling the pressure of Ceedee and Dak Prescott's contracts

well good evening good people hold on for a second got the lights up a little too much here can't see the flame what's up Good People Mar's here and as always I want to say thank you all for watching commenting subscribing and being part of the jbook sports report without you guys guys as well as you ladies you know that this literally does not work it is Sunday night two weeks from today we will have played the Cleveland Browns and I will probably still be live streaming right now so it'll be starting at 1:00 and literally going all night long oh my God but I really can't wait because I love football there's nothing I enjoy more I hope I hope that this is a good season um we've had everybody with the usual Doom and Gloom this is the thing that's always so funny to me um and I'm going to get to Jerry Jones because I think Jerry Jones is feeling more heat right now than he's felt in a long time and I'll get to that in a second you know what's funny because this is Deja Vu where we are right now I've got all these Eagle fans that are coming in and talking about how we are chokers we're chokers and and especially Drew especially Drew you guys are chokers in the playoffs it's like wait a minute what happened this past year didn't you lose in the first round the playoffs against Tampa Bay right and I know you went on the Super Bowl run beating of course the Giants and the 49ers without any quarterbacks you know where they only gave up only got seven points so your quarterback you know he had all he needed was eight points to win the game but be that as May didn't you guys choke in the playoffs the year before so those who live in Glass Houses maybe you shouldn't cast the first stone because I keep hearing all these Eagle fans that are pound in the chest about how great they are because of the moves they made but where we are right now where the Cowboys are getting trashed and told that they don't care about you know football we Loston Bland just like we lost last year Diggs right we lost an off row Diggs just like we did this year with Don Bland that you know we lost Kell Moore and you know Mike McCarthy literally just fell off the salad truck and he's an idiot so he's not going to be able to coach us to do anything all of these things we w considered to be in any shape or form a team that was expected to do anything then there was the Eagles coming off of the Super Bowl LW where everybody was saying best roster in football here's the interesting um thing that I did yesterday with Leo I asked him from last year's team would you take your offensive line or my offensive line mine would you take your wide receiv receiver Core last year or mine he was like mine he said you know tight end who would you take him his running backs last year his quarterback last year he said I had to take jayen Herz so if you said everything about the Eagles last year was better than the cowboys that you were coming off a Super Bowl season and everybody predicted you to be in the Super Bowl and you go and seven down the stretch losing in the first round how is it the Cowboys were a bigger disappointment than you were they weren't saying that the Cowboys should be the number one seed and go into the Super Bowl but they were about you guys and here's another crazy one for you because I've been pointing out to people something really interesting for those that say Dak just sucks and those used to always say oh it was just Zeke Kelly it's cuz Z Kelly the Dak Prescott does good the Cowboys were 14th at running the football last year that's ad middle of the road right somehow the Dallas Cowboys with d Prescott and really one great receiver scored 29.9 points a game highest in the NFL now mind you the Eagles who Leo said he'd take everything over the Cowboys offense scored almost Five Points less than the Dallas Cowboys offense explain that one to me they had better Talent they had the better roster somehow the Cowboys scored more points okay just pointing that out that's where we are we got cut Downs in the next two days the Dallas Cowboys like everybody else will have to get down to the 53 man roster and um those cuts could start at any time so maybe we start seeing some of those tomorrow uh don't know but you know when The Turk comes for you it says bring your book it's not a good thing now we've got we got Jerry Jones yesterday who praised trands you know and said that the fourth round pick that they gave up for him was a good thing and all that I don't know that anybody out there says right now other than SE to 49ers that Trey getting Trey Lance that fourth round pick was a good thing well RG3 did I can't honestly look and say that anybody looks and says that was a great move oh my God oh my God Jerry Jones that was an incredible move wait bro love you on that one no nobody's doing that nobody's doing that one okay seriously so you got that problem you got Jerry Jones who said we're going all in but yet has been talking about how much the Green Bay Packer game has bothered him which is the reason why he hasn't done these contracts okay we've heard him talk about deadlines get deals done which is another one of those stupid ass things that we have here because we wait till the last minute to get him done he said he likes that fact that people are basically that he can throw some scraps on the floor and make the people fight for him that's not exactly what he said but basically he said that you know when you have them uncomfortable without having a job or or commitment that they're going to work harder the funny thing is here I don't see anybody that he's trying to make sweat sweat Mike McCarthy he looks just as happy gol lucky as POS hey what hey well hello good watch his press conferences he don't look like he's feeling any pressure then you got Dak who I don't know that I've ever seen Dak press got happier now maybe that's the you know his girlfriend and the baby you know that that fatherhood you know you start seeing that baby start to grow so although you know when you have the baby you know when you first get the baby and it's like oh my God the baby pooo oh you oh you oh the baby pooo look because it hadn't started stinking yet but then a couple of months in oh my God then like oh damn yeah you change it no you change it's your turn yeah [ __ ] snakes but seeing D Prescott he's that proud happy father he don't look like he's worried about not getting the contract now I don't have any worry about Dak Prescott played well cuz Dak has beat the hell out of the Cowboys CU you know here's the thing that's funny is the Joneses always play this hard role you know that the're real tough ah yeah we're tough you know we're not going to play a lot for this Muffler and then they end up paying a whole lot for the muffler D got understand you know he he's got to leave some of the pie for everybody else why why you guys ain't leaving any of the pie for the fans y'all taking the whole pie you're not even leaving crumbs for us be that as it may for those after they keep saying that Dak should take a Team friendly deal maybe he would have after if you had after his third year after he played for three years for $2 million total maybe after that third year when you had the first opportunity to get him a contract where he was literally making less money than the backup quarterback maybe if you had said we're going to go ahead and get you a contract make your whole no they made him play on the last year of that deal so he took all the risk if he had busted his leg and couldn't play anymore oh well that's on you bro then then you franchise tag him again which means another year that you literally put all the risk on him right you follow what I'm saying here so now we're in the same boat this if you don't get the deal done is three years that you are literally not guaranteeing any future whatsoever so why should he look and say hey I won't take everything I can you didn't treat him like we're in this together and when you're CD l you know eventually they're going to pay they're going to pay Zach Martin DW Ambert Smith Zeke Elliott they'll cave and they'll give you what you want I don't know why we have to go through this every every single year but damn if we don't I guess that's just the cowboy way y'all so the only one to me that seems to be bothered by the lack of contracts and guarantees is Jerry Jones everybody else looks like I'm good bro oh well we'll see what we're going to see I still believe that the Cowboys have a good team and um only time will tell as always good people as we get ready to start the season again it's nice because I've seeing a lot of people that I haven't seen in a while like Miss Gibson and uh Riley is coming back and things and we created a lot of new fans and stuff you know Ginger Rogers who's going to be starting the Channel and stuff you know now that football is here it is bringing everybody back whether it's going to be a train wreck or a great season it's still just good to see you guys and what I need you all to remember is tell the people you care about how much you love them seriously life is short and life goes by fast and you need to do everything everything you can while you're here because before you know it time's up and you don't want to leave unfinished
