and I feel like I did it wrong like I feel like I didn't try hard enough that is so messed up so so messed up that someone has come and trademark very demure very mindful I totally understand how she's feeling like and when I experienced it myself I I was just little old me trying to build a platform and she's literally popularized very demal very Mindful and someone has gone to trade market like wow but I think she should still submit her application and fight it because it's it's very it's Global everyone knows that this was popularized by her this is just insane and you know what's so crazy about it like this person has attempted to well you know start the process of trademark in it and they're probably not going to even put effort into whatever it is that they were going to do with it or they were probably just wanted to hold it as ransom for to get a lot of money out of her because obviously we all know that you know prob this situation has helped her to gain a lot of um Financial income like there's so much messed up people in this world and even to even like you know do something like this it's insane but I know that it's actually possible for her to challenge this and win so I really really hope that she gets like the best legal team as possible or someone reaches out to her that you know can really help her and guide her through this because yeah this is really really sad and um you know her just feeling like she's done this all wrong and she's not done it all right like honestly when you start a business or you start something that you're trying to build there is so much mistakes to learn um and maybe it should have been the first thing she did the very next day when she saw how viral it was going but I can also imagine that she was getting so many Brands reach out to her that she was just trying to get to you know get to the bag can't really blame her for that um but yeah this is messed up so this is just a reminder that if you are trying to build something try and trademark it if you can especially if you believe in it especially if you see that you know there's growth is going to do well just yeah just try and get a trademark cuz passion only to have it snatched away by someone else trying to claim it as their own well that's exactly what happened to je LeBron the creator of the cut phrase very demure very mindful now Jo in tears shared her heartbreak in a recent video revealing how this move by jeffon bits to Trad Mark the phrase has turned her word upside down well it's got everyone asking why to those with money wait for someone else to build something special only to swoop in and take it for themselves like this this merch situation is like really like like [ __ ] me up like like I'm just invested so much money and time into this and I feel like I did it wrong like I feel like I didn't try hard enough and like like I wanted this to like do so much for like my family and like provide for my transition and like I just feel like I dropped the ball like I feel like I [ __ ] up and like someone else has it now and I like don't even know what I could have done better cuz like I didn't have the resources and trademarked very demor very Mindful and that is so [ __ ] not mindful of them and I know that you've been receiving different support videos but now as a marketing strategist here's what I have to say first of all I really hope that you have already contacted an attorney because the potential earnings that you're missing out on so your losses are far greater than anything you would pay at an attorney office even if 1% of your audience bought a $30 sweatshirt that's 20,000 people time 30 that's $600,000 that's almost a million dollar of merch sales that you're missing out on now here's some things to consider because they're very important if you have not consulted with an attorney girl you should have did that last night because the question is can you sue this person even though they already filed a trademark on your saying anytime you have to ask can you sue the answer is automatically yes the real question is do you feel like you can get a minimum of $600,000 in merch sales because the very demure trend is already over the hype has already died down so my question is do you think very demure is worth fighting for because it is already a week maybe even a week and a half two weeks old I always tell people what makes you viral What Makes You Famous is not going to be what you're known for that's not your chapter 2 so as much as this hurts you still have so much time to go in change things up okay I hope you haven't done any production if you have done production get lawyer immediately cuz that's a minimum of $600,000 you missing out on then remember 1% if you page because this is something to do right now so allegedly somebody is trying to trademark very Demir very mindful right up under Jules LeBron's nose and if you don't know who Jules LeBron is Jules LeBron is the lady that created very Demir very mindful who popularized the entire catchphrase so according to TMZ and other places because they're kind of not they they've been on the fritz right now with their creditability um court documents show that somebody by the name of Jefferson Bates has moved forward with actually trademarking the catchphrase very Demir very mindful quote unquote and that Jules LeBron feels she would actually made a video and I think the video was deleted of herself crying saying that she messed up she doesn't know how this happened and that this is going to mess up everything pretty much for her because she didn't know this was being this was happening now Jefferson Bas nobody knows who this person is it might even be Joes LeBron we don't know but there's saying that the person has a different phone number and a different address than Jules LeBron but we don't even really know what Jules LeBron's real name is so it could be the same person but this is like a predatory practice and it's very common to see um companies and you know somebody with a lot of money wait for little people to popularize a catchphrase or a dance move or something and then they take it and trademark it and put it all over t-shirts and use it in you know um ads and things to that extent it it's it's a very common practice that they do I just hope that Jules LeBron can maybe file some type of motion or you know something that says hey I disagree with them trying to trademark this even though I mean de the word Demir is a real word it's not like she created the word but she did popularize it so it's it's very unfortunate y'all very unfortunate hi girly you're good don't cry let's talk about it hey girlies my name is Gyra I am a Texas Attorney so let's get into that has been done is a trademark application an application to trademark something has been filed an application to trademark something is not the same as having a trademark on something this is a very long and lengthy process the US PTO still has to review the application and look through it and part of the application is seeing if the person has used this thing or idea in the past considering of course the ethics of ownership how the those with resources often exploit the hard work and passion of others for their own gain while Jews LeBron's heartbreak is not just about losing a catchphrase um it's about losing a piece of her identity something she nurtured and shared with the world only to see it being used out there by someone else who didn't even put in the work come on this of course raises uh critical questions about the nature of intellectual property and who truly deserves to own it when the rich and Powerful can simply stay in and take what they want it really undermines the very essence of creativity it discouraged the innovators the dreamers and of course the artists who bring fresh ideas into the world this case is a reminder that of course in a world driven by prophit the original creators often end up as the the ones who suffer the most if you don't start recognizing and protecting the true innovators we risk creating an environment where creativity is Ste for and uh only the wealthy benefit it's time for a change where we value the creative process just as much as the final product ensuring that those who bring ideas to life are the
