a teaser trailer for the liveaction Minecraft movie just released let's recap starting off as a casual Minecraft player I didn't really mind the look of the world everything seemed great from the design of the background to the animals to the creature every small detail of the world looks great it's just those human characters that kind of throw off the film in a fully CG world like this they just feel way out of place now the description of the movie tries to play this by pulling off some sort of Jumanji like situation having human characters going into an unknown world World which is stated to not even be a video game world but rather an alternative Universe the characters here are described to be from the modern world except for Jason mimo's character who stated to be from the 1980s which explains his odd clothing Steve played by Jack Black seems to be their guide in this world he's probably one of the first people to get stranded there looks like the plot will have them teaming up to escape and along the line get familiar with their surrounding and encounter some challenges along the way has that Jumanji type of vibe works better as an animated movie what are yall thoughts
