Two Watson teens fixing their community's generators for free before and after Francine

speak of those generators two teenagers from Watson have been helping people throughout the Hurricane by fixing their generators for free and isues Joe Collins was in Watson earlier today talking to the boys about their passion for helping what they tell you Jeff syvia and Michael the two boys I met are Zachary hogi and Hunter Hughes and what started from watching YouTube videos and working on their dirt bikes led to them helping Watson residents be safe in case the power went out these two boys hard at work are Zachary hogi and Hunter Hughes they're both 16 years old and with the recent hurricane these two teens are finding ways to help Hunter and Zachary are two teenagers and Watson that have always had a sense of helping the community and before and after Hurricane Francine roll through Louisiana they've been out helping fix and repair people's generators Zach's father passed away when he was younger ever since he's been finding ways to learn useful skills to help out those in need I've been working on engine since I was about 11 12 years old I've just developed feels over time kind of just taking it apart learning it YouTube YouTube videos right alongside him is his good friend Hunter throughout the past couple days the boys have been getting calls from people needing help with their generators they load up their truck pick up the generator bring it back to their house to work on it then return it back to its owner fixed and ready to go you know if it's an easier clean usually about 30 minutes to an hour but like if we have to really get in there and fix you know other stuff probably about 2 hours the carburetor issue like gums up and won't get gas to the thing so you just clean it out and get it running they Pride themselves on helping out those in need like we did one we had to bring out to Denim it was a single mother and a son he didn't they didn't really know how to do it and it was just easier for us to find the problem and do it for them their families told wbrz they couldn't be prouder of the boys for what they're doing these two boys are always out trying to help in the community uh Hunter opened his own uh Lawn Service called Elite Lawn Solutions and these two guys work real hard every weekend I asked the boys if they think they could make a career out of something like this they said they're doing it as a passion currently but you never know with the skills they have at their age they can make a great business right the guys at the desk in a g
