ah so we do have what is known as a spitter in uh the French athlete here so he holds a piece of uh leather tab between his teeth and that is how he shoots his arrows and it is so hard to do this accurately I cannot explain to you how incredible a feet of skill this is eight quite incredible from gam tole as we see close up yeah so if he moves his head or his jaw open slightly differently or he puts it slightly differently in his mouth in any left or right the arrow will impact in a different place the it it's an incredible skill eight quite extraordinary in a technique right at this moment that yeah has put him in control of the opening set there you can see the piece of tab and then is you know that could be because his head came up just as he let go then and that made it go low is that it is that hard it is incredible to watch them do it lovely Arrow this has been a lengthy competition as well these guys started in the round of 48 so nearly 100 athletes although Stefano Travis he got a buy in the first round both of these athletes began with clean sweep six ners but the competition's got a bit stiffer as they've continued certainly pretty unequivocally the best here this week on the form that they brought and they're bringing that form to the final the French going to be focused so much on Paris in this summer lot of expectation on uh French athlete wow that's maybe the best arrow of the afternoon John across all the gold medal matches that we've watched I agree not bad [Laughter] either trisan has lovely beautiful form his alignment his his release his follow through looking great but and of gold medal matches well it's been a splendid afternoon of par archery toate coming into his own a little bit nine nine so close on both of those to be intense mini advantage nine 27 is a good set but a nine to get the two points 10 nine okay well we're going into the fifth set cuz set four the Frenchmen one the 27 to 26 so four all winner of this set will win the gold but if this set is tied obviously we will go to a one hour shoot off incredible drama and ttention to close out the gold medal matches and the Frenchmen commences with a nine that is his that is his seventh nine in a row mini advantage to Travis an [Music] [Applause] what an answer keeping his one point Advantage this needs to be a really good Arrow oh and it's as good as it [Applause] gets a 10 to win and take the gold 10 10 10 10 perfect to score 30 points and from our spot and we are waiting for the judges confirmation stean from Italy won the goal Med well that that was absolutely incredible archery there 10 10 10 to take the win could you see what it meant to him when he won that [Music]
