we have with us head coach of the black stars coach OT with us um I would also once again please make sure your phones are on silence please make sure your phones are on Sil coach um first of all that was um for everybody almost everybody that was a big disappointment um in purchase of the game you could see what you wanted to do we created enough chances unfortunately um the players didn't take um those chances can you sum up the 90 minutes in your own words um oh okay okay first of all um um congratulations to Angola they did well um they changed their tactical formations we saw it actually before the the game because we saw that they would start with three Central Defenders so we knew that they will play differently and um they took a high risk in pressing us or trying to press us very very high and this lead I think you you could see that they especially at the end of the first half also they lost a little bit of power and we had we still created a chance because they played in the last line man against man sometimes was just Jord alone against one Defender sometimes was uh antoan um Jordan and fatau three against three and um yeah surely I think there we could have done more um in the second half um I think I think um we took control um we controlled the game we created a lot of chances or even half chances where I think yeah we have to try and uh take faster decisions to shoot earlier a little bit um um not too I mean I like that they they they played like a team and but sometimes a little bit more egoistic in in shooting um yeah the goalkeeper did well congratulations to the goalkeeper from aula he saved some some really really good good balls um yeah and at the end I mean at least I think we deserved a point at least um was a little bit unlucky and um yeah we can just hope that um um I don't I don't like to do this you know but um you know on this pitch to be honest that the guys did really really well the second half to control the game like they did and we have to work on the pitch um to to to get better because um it's it's difficult and then also mistakes can happen right tactical presence as always I must Comm you for today's G personally I saw some positives but how does it feel losing G at I think the last time lost G was February 2000 and 24 years down the line lost G it doesn't feel good part commiserations on your loss um there's this saying that we learn more from losing than winning so I want you to explain to us what the Yeah surely we have to be more clinical been yeah I saw a lot of situation where we could have shot earlier we should have been a little bit more egoistic you know even though like I don't like if a let's say a player has a better position and you don't give him the ball I don't like it but in this game I think there was a lot of situation where we could have taken shots and we pass it to the next one pass it to the next one um also I think they they the players that give the all they tried everything um we controlled the match and um it's this is also football I've been I was a player myself um um I had bad games where we won and sometimes you play good and you lose this is football did you play yes my name is don't late okay um I know that if I would have changed earlier people would have said oh why did you change you were playing good so whatever you do I know when you lose you're the bad guy you know so but I take it um maybe we should have I mean like after the game everybody knows more and maybe we we could have done better in changing I'll think about it I'll take it home and think about reflect on it but like I said the second half to be honest was really really good um we had the right positions um in the first time we had some problems um I talked with Al say is it was crucial that he was was too high had to come back we took better position the second half in between the lines and the player played played well we we I mean we drag them down to the half and we didn't allow too many counter situations even though there were some who were which were also dangerous and yeah like like I said in football this is sometimes like that and we were lucky maybe a little bit even though we deserve to win in Mali I think but there we should we scored the goal and now it's uh Angola who scored a goal um and yeah I can just repeat myself I think at least a draw would have been uh deserved but yeah this is football you've seen you know since you took you struggle to have you know most of your favorable pairs in defense the heart of defense and the Heart of Midfield do you think it's gr becom for you in the way you want to no because the the quality is there I think um even though we lost um I saw that the quality is there um [Music] um was unlucky for M that uh he couldn't clear the ball at the end but we made some mistakes before um so it's not only him um the grass is also not that good and um but he he besides that he made a really really good game and uh a lot of good balls in between the lines won a lot of duels so um you know they're young boys and I know they will develop and surely think you said it um we we will have to learn out of this to be more clinical and at least to to to get a point at least out of this um um matchin Spen in a build up was all just came Sim the and how bad you te person talk to us what was really wrong with the p was the was what yeah you said [Music] everything more question wow okay haven't spoken today so I'll give you the chance your name the Black Star have gone about eight consecutive games we've been conceding in every game and second SP I [Music] think uh major problem I don't think I don't think we have a major problem in defense but surely we lost today one one Zer and um we have to look also not only at the goal but also on the the chances we allowed but um I said that I think the last time against central Africa Republic you know defense doesn't start in the the backline you know sometimes it's more also the Midfield sometimes it's the the front the way we press the way we attack we don't have to allow them to to play clear balls into the last line and we have to avoid the situation where they have a one one V one situation at the at the box and so um we have to be more compact we have to work on that um I know it's was not easy um The Players um all played in Europe mostly and were tied but it's the same for Angola and um today I think they were lucky um at the end um but um yeah like I said we have to learn out of it um there's a lot of things to to learn and a lot of situation um and just to be clear I don't want to plan this loss on the pitch even though it was not good but um against Central African Republic it was also not good and we won so so we have to do better this this for sure c um coach before your remarks you did said that um you saw the angolans changing their tactical information and as a coach what did you do to break their um tactical information because at the end of the game you considered a goal as a coach you saw it what did you do um yeah I mean we we took different positions when we saw that they play with five and I think like I said we did quite well that angolans take a high risk in the first half to press us but this allowed us to have like situation where we had one One V ones we didn't use them well like the last pass the last shot was not clinical enough um um and in the second half I think we we controlled them but yeah we a little bit unlucky um to to concede the goal I can't really say much bad things about the second half just like we have to score um and football sometimes like that if you don't score sometimes at the end you get punished and this is how it was today last one we out of here all right Co um since you came I think this your first defeat now um this defeat also comes after GH for in um how confident are you that to qualify considering [Music] and the yeah the second half makes me very confident um the good thing is that it's all still in our own hands we play against all the uh the the other group uh teams in our groups and uh it's all in our hands so we can we we we don't depend on nobody to qualify at the moment and this is the good thing and this is the positive thing and uh I think there's like it has been said there's a lot of posit positive things to be taken out of the second half but surely um at least we we should we should draw this and um we have to learn to to be more clinical to to make aler shots um to be a little bit more egoistic it's it's a thin line because I don't want them to be too eristic um but um yeah we have to learn out of this and we will discuss the game tomorrow morning and um um I'll show them a lot of it that um that kudus is a key player inside playing inside uh Al half inside if I can say that uh because he tried sometimes to come in the right Corridor and combine um switch the the play from the other cordor always um a smart player to finish even outside the the box so yes he's one of the best players in Africa at the moment uh perhaps today he didn't um make a the better appear but uh sure that is wonderful player and yes we we tried to to be consistent inside uh but be brave for sure in the end that kind of stories always have a a part of uh lucky and in the second part uh we were tired and we must to uh put uh new players with fresh legs uh but always focus and if everybody watched the the match and always focus in the goal opposite goal so in the end feel very very good that Kumasi for the fact that it's been long since Ghana lost a home game here at the bab sport Stadium yeah we we we launched that uh that match thinking that uh that uh situation for the for the Players let's we are improving a lot it's true the last afcon the last kosaa uh with the young players everybody feels that we are growing but we are searching for that kind of win but now we have a challenge and with me the the challenge for sure is to tomorrow the feet on the ground and uh nobody go to the with the hand in the moon and thinking is the best ones in the world [Music] [Music] working for for all right pleas our Master coach um a very vital win on the road um now Angola and Sudan have three points um how what does this win mean to you um ahead of afon qualify looking at how the group is definitely Ghana will be striking back how does this scen um how does your trans well well uh uh when I commented the the group I said each each national team uh in that group have conditions to get points for each other so um even even ner is the was the the the better team in Port four so uh all the teams are very balanced for sure Ghana uh is the favorite to to qualifying not because they they lost today we have five five matches uh forward so uh it's good it's always good be in the in the in the front of the of the group of the qualifying but uh we have four five uh matches more and our ambition our aim for sure we we said that we want to be on the next afcon it's very important for our football uh to be in the great in the big competition so this is our aim our focus our light to to finish on there but we have a lot of work to to achieve and for sure Monday it's a big challenge again Sudan have three three wins in the rle uh they are growing they are coming back they are uh they they they they were Champion once so respect and let's working for beat them at home congratulations my name is were you surprised that how poor the black stars were today do you think do you think they they they they were poor well is is your is your um opinion it's not my opinion it's not my opinion for sure always when a big team uh have a defeat with another one everybody say no they are poor okay but you must to look for the other guys and the work of the other guys so maybe the lesson and we learned that uh that um lesson a long time ago each each match in Africa is always always very very different difficult nobody think that you you win before the match today was the the prove but even even as when sometimes we feel but well we are much better than the others always very difficult because African um atmosphere and the the passion the the players put to play for the national teams is absolutely different from the other continents I felt I feel that so uh always always always very difficult for sure if you are winning if you are winning a match with sometimes um a weak uh team and if they uh risk okay you have chance to to beat them two three or four but how many scores of that uh happen in Africa if you compare with South Africa with Europe with Asia and ocean and you you watch it how many how many scores of 3 40 uh happen in Africa so all the teams are very balanced a chance only pleas you he entered the game realized that when he ented he started frustrating A to re well uh first of all uh our mission is focus on the match focus on play football uh for sure we we play football with opponents and uh different players have different characteristics different behaviors so we must to prepare our plan uh but focus in ourselves and uh in our performance don't in the referee or in the situation with um opponent come on but everybody watch it the the the the the the fault is is tremendous so well the de decision of the referee was um to gave the the yellow card I think is is is different but I must to respect last question co I'm RAF from um your player Manuel k What specific role did you give to him because I could see that he was the one that distracted the attack ofel well he's a he's a player with 25 years old but with a lot of experience um in the national team uh almost 50 caps from the national team uh I I think um show we we calling calling him show uh have conditions to play in the other level but sometimes the career it was the the decisions the the players um make um he's a very very good player um I I really appreciate because at home a lot of people are criticizing show from a long a long time ago saying that he is not a good player uh and today he did a great performance uh it was very important uh he actually play in in United States as a pencil so you have a big travel when he he was up is very very tired because it's not only the question about Pitch but uh long he had three days flying to uh join us so only only train practice with us here so when you watch it you don't know what happened uh in the um yes uh so uh congratulations not only to him but uh for sure is is very important and is
