welcome to Boon picking Stadium Still Water Oklahoma home to the Cowboys of Oklahoma State Pistol Pete ready to start firing those pistols for the battle we have in store today we have one of those games that test your focus top 25 team against an unranked opponent can you take care of business as we'll see a the SEC the Arkansas Razer backs taking on the 18th ranked team in the land the Oklahoma State Cowboys for EA Sports college football I'm Reese Davis David poock and Jesse Palmer with me guys it's time to get it going and the Razer backs will kick it away first here he comes from inside his own five nice job by the kickoff team everybody stayed in their lanes and they'll stop him at the 16 so Oklahoma State's offense will get the first swing of the game and here's the man they'll try to feed the football to no matter what the coverage looks like Jesse he's their best player on offense and I like the way this coaching staff moves him around and tries to create good matchups to take advantage of David and that makes it so hard to defend when a receiver lines up in the same spot every time I can bring extra coverage man use this guy all over the field as a weapon of mass destruction got eight on first down now looking at a second and two he'll run it again gets the nose of the ball to the 25 give him one I'll tell you this is a running back who's very very dangerous and the defense did a good job getting him down there but they got to do a great job G tack because this is a guy that can break tackles and turn those types of plays into home runs and to keep this opening drive going they'll need to convert third and one they'll try to run for it and he'll be taken down but he does have enough for the first down it's a really good sign if you're on offense here you're putting it on your offensive line on third down critical down and distance opening drive of the game let those guys fire off get a hat on a hat you can run the ball pick up the first you're around Midfield looking pretty good here early for this offense looking for space it's Gordon not a lot of daylight he gets one to the 32 and you want to run the football that's okay you'll take some of these but if they start to add up down the road obviously you might want to think about airing it out a little bit didn't get much on first down it's second and N looking to throw Bowman unloads to the wide out oh he drops it right down the middle of the field and he couldn't make the play just got to finish the play for the wide receiver you got to look that one in and complete it that's a bad drop they couldn't connect on second down now staring at a third and nine from the gun wants to pass fires to the wide out he's got it will out of bounds but not before the big KCK up and a first down for this offense this dude is just exceptional in every facet so fluid such a great route Runner and a big play there and money down third down find it I mean you want to find that matchup because he's going to win and gets a good release gets down the field you see his that's your playmaker that's your guy get it to him get the first down not much working there it'll be second and nine Run game is good bance is good now listen if the Run game isn't good then you got to pass the football a little bit more but sometimes you got to keep them honest take them chunk by chunk didn't get much on first down it's second and nine he's looking to throw makes the grab over the middle and the defense had that one well covered just a short game there quarterback dropping back understanding I'm getting Zone coverage all I got to do is be a little bit patient that defense a little bit my wide receiver runs that drag and I get the first down eighth play on this opening drive coming up and they need a third down conversion from the gun wants to pass caught close to the marker it's Foster they've got it inside the 40 at the 39 as they pick up the first down the Cowboys come to the line with a fresh set of downs looking for a man it's Bowman good quickness to grab it off the balance and he goes down after making the grab picks up a few but still short of the first down sometimes you're just living right you put the ball in Jeopardy in the middle of traffic and he makes the grab off the deflection no reys that's exactly what you're supposed to do throw over the middle the field in zone when all the eyeballs are looking right at you you know towards a Defender not the best offense but man they caught a break you take those breaks and you don't apologize for it great job a contained by this defense and in order to do that the end man on the line of scrimmage defensively has got to be able to set the point and force the football back into traffic and that's exactly what happened there 11th play of this opening drive coming up at this one a third and long from the gun wants to pass he's going to take off the Razer backs once again fail to get a third down stop sometimes these guys just have eyes in the back of their head you saw it right there he was able to buy himself time get outside the pocket and at that point I think the decision was pretty easy hey I can go get this with my feet he was able to do that now they got a fresh set of downs now on First and 10 from the 27 used the play fake now to throw unloads to the wide out and it was worth the gamble but the long pass is incomplete I think when you go through these progressions as a quarterback you want to find the right guy to throw to obviously I just I didn't think he was the right guy I didn't think he was really that open and listen he sailed and he over threw but I might have surveyed the middle of the field a little bit better there that incompletion leads to Second down and 10 they'll run it from the gun he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three and how frustrating is that you're that running back where were you supposed to go there was absolutely no Lane for him on that play Third and long from the 30 yd line in this defense hoping to knock them out of field goal range looking down field and he needs a bunch Chun it away just as he was hit good job to toss that ball out of bounds and avoid the loss and the offense got themselves in a tough situation third and long so hard to execute especially when the field starts to shrink but the good news is they got a field goal in their back pocket now on fourth down they'll try to come away with three and there is a degree of difficulty with this one a 47 y from the right hatch he's got it showing off that big leg from 47 y out this is a team that really Prides themselves on starting fast we've seen that before and here they are playing at home today nice job on the opening Drive lots of poise good emotion they don't get the touchdown they would have liked but they kick a nice field goal they've got the lead that coach has to be happy so they were able to put up a three spot on that last drive and now the kickoff team out there as they prepare to put boot to leather and he takes this from inside the five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and the at the 19 the Razer backs offense will have its first possession of the game and they seem to believe that they can take big plays away and man coverage by just locking him up in this matchup David and it's hard to lock down a great wide receiver but a great defensive back versus a great wide receiver we got a showdown yeah let's be honest David most defenses don't have a dude like that at cornerback that could do that in a game like this but this matchup is unique and it's going to really DET the outcome of the game this crowd going to try to make life miserable for these [Applause] guys they'll throw it on first down and this will be incomplete a big hit there forces second down well that's just a great play by the defender and great timing it was the hit that forced that incompletion after the misfire now on second down looking down field it's green he is lucky to get that one back and the last thing you want is to turn it over on your opening drive and that's why these guys play defense if that were an offensive player receiver that would have easily have been a catch come on man you got to catch that and make that a pick better find the plugged here comes the noise backing this defense on third down from the gun wants to pass he wants to take the top off and incomplete on the Deep ball that's why it's so important for this defense to win first and second down you set up third and Longs like that you can show your exotic looks you get the pass rush going everybody in the back end expecting throw that's how you force in completions of Force fourth points and the Razer backs will call on their punt team this will be be their first punt of the afternoon he'll bring it back it's Presley working his way on the return up to the 40 yd line before he stopped Oklahoma state has it back and the offens is on the field they kicked a field goal on the last Drive Jesse they've got the lead don't make a dumb mistake but maintain your aggressive play calling yeah no doubt I think it's the play caller right now just taking a look at that script he's got in front of him and finding out where my players who can we take advantage of on this defense to get a touchdown here yeah and just keep moving the ball down the field just execute a little bit better in the Red Zone there's no need to panic we're moving the football and we got the lead from the gun the running back looking for room is that stiff arm even a human arm it it looks like some type of Steel bludgeoning device on his way to the first down well there we go we finally see some life in this offense running the football nice game Tock up the down got to get more of that going moving forward because they have not run it well from the 47 yd line on First and 10 might as well run him until they stop him he's got it again they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one so no room to run there and you wonder after that loss on first down where they turn now yeah and that's why it's so important for the defense to win these first downs right you want to create negative plays to make this offense so much more predictable on that last one it's second and 11 working the middle it's complete he's really close to that first down marker but they stop him just a bit short well these wide receivers work the middle of the field so much of this is field understanding where the holes are in the zone or understanding how to get leverage on a man and these wide receivers are dangerous nowadays because they do it so fast and see that so quick and make those plays over the middle they'll try to move the on the ground putting together a real scoring threat here as they pick up the first down at the 36 I don't need it to be pretty I just need my inches third down in inches nice job by getting the first down always fall forward play physical don't get East and West stay north and south nice job by the running back and the Cowboys have this offense rolling they'll give it to him again able to SC three yards of that one somehow it's second and seven yeah and the running back didn't get much here but you know you clearly want to always establish the Tipo run the football be consistent make that defense physically meet the challenge got three on first down it's second and [Applause] seven running back searching for a hole clows ahead for a pick up of one to the 32 man that D tackle is a freak athlete did you see him come out of his stance and beat the offensive lineman getting to the running back cattie quickness this will be the seventh play of the drive and they need to convert third and [Applause] six dropping back it's Bowman it's complete on the right side he's got enough for the first down they'll spot him at the 24 yd line these two guys just on the same wav make clutch connections all the time and that's practice man that's all summer that's all spring just so many hundreds and hundreds and thousands of balls where you know exactly when that guy's going to break you know he's a stud you're going to feed him especially on these third down situations that ball came out a little late and it was almost picked off this is going to be a key that we look at this entire game how can this defense find ways to affect this quarterback and get pressure on because they felt coming into the game if they could do that they could affect him and influence this passing game offense gets set for second down from the gun give on the inside nowhere to run on that one he loses four on the carry well there was just nowhere to go for the runner on that last play just way too much penetration up front and as a result they lose yardage they'll snap it for the time on this drive but they need a chunk on Third and long looking to throw and he needs a bunch wide open down field and he'll run it into the end zone pistols firing touchdown Cowboy one of the reasons this offense is so exciting to watch they've got guys that are dangerous after the catch and if this quarterback gets through his progression David gets you in stride these guys will take it to the house man it's your job to do the rest you hit me in stride where I don't have to stop running I don't have to break down it makes it so easy the connection between quarterback wide receiver you can tell this is a good one and that's why they got six on that play lining up to tack one more onto that [Applause] lead and with the extra point they're now up by a touchdown and field goal at 10 so that's a 60yd touchdown drive and they C things off with a scoring toss from 27 yards out lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown drive on the run from inside his own five really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 looking to go up top on first down finds a man on the right and they reacted well to the completion but it was too late to keep them from getting the first down the Hogs getting it done through the air evoking memories of Ryan Mallet and that's what the fans of Arkansas want to see they've always got that physical ground game they always want to have a little bit of balance and when they get that balance they get that offense cooking they get everybody pretty excited you might even get a woo Pig Su and off from the shotgun and how about the efficiency on that it'll br up second and four well it's plays like that that will help this offense stay in Rhythm all game long if you can have that kind of success on first down running the football it just opens up your entire Playbook moving forward got six on first down now a lot of options on second and four to the air it's green right through his hands and incomplete and he'll want that one back it'll be third down you're not going to see that happen too often the quarterback man was his chops he saw a big space in the middle of the field he had his best receiver there ready to make a play and he dropped it debl Rising as the crowd Gets behind this defense on third down from the gun wants to pass that's caught it's Armstrong a quick tackle made but he's got plenty for the first down we asked earlier this week who's your favorite receiver and of course he said the open one but we know who he really wants to go to on third down down the best one I mean I think the open one obviously the politically correct answer but you want to find the guy that you got that great chemistry with you know exactly where he's going to be you got that Bond and that trust got it behind the line it's Jackson he's brought down but he went backwards after that completion not the way they had it drawn up you know as a quarterback you believe in your matchup and and my running back if I can get him the ball in space he's going to win a lot of times he didn't that time the defense was ready job in the open field making the nice tackle they'll line up for a second down play catch in the middle it's h he almost picked up the first down on that one but he'll be just a little bit short I don't know who on defense is going to cover this guy honestly he could be a problem for this defense over the middle of the field in the passing offense breaks the Huddle on third down trying to pick it up on the ground now they're really starting to threaten as they pick up the first down at the 34 yd line well the offense is in a really nice Rhythm right now it seems like no matter what they're dialing up they're getting positive yards and it just feels so good as a play caller when you know on first down you can get yards like that turning around in hand yeah and on the other side you're scratching your head going what the heck can I do here you got to find something the defense got to find a way to create momentum whatever they're doing right now it's not working so you got to keep going through that play sheet and maybe find something a little bit different that can give this offense something to think about and this offense has got it all well right it's just been tough this this defense is on its heels can't figure it out a bunch of plays in a row now a bunch of success this offense is doing what they want to do how they want to do it defense is going to need to do something different to try to mix up this Rhythm running behind those pads he gets a coup stopped at the 18 you know runs like this often times are like a boxer in a boxing match obviously it's not a knockout punch but these are body blows and as the game goes on these small gains are going to turn into longer runs after picking up a couple it's second and eight looking for room it's Jackson they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one you know the runner just has to have a little bit more Pati bounc that thing outside a little too early and as a result lost yards this crowd knows when to bring it on third down he'll try to pick it up through the air and he was drilled just as he released the pass it's incomplete nice job by the defense they're mixing up their look they're third and long in field goal range they go Zone coverage so everybody on the back end has the eye on the quarterback and they're able to break on the ball Force the incompletion they're happy enough to try to take the points as the field goal unit heads out and he'll kick for the three from 36 yds out in the right hatch between the uprights it's good so after the last Drive ended with a field goal the kickoff team out there to send it away he'll start the return inside his five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 Oklahoma State hoping to get the pistols firing on offense how about that last drive just carved him up in the air David yeah and how about that quarterback you gave him the ball and he delivered the goods great job taking apart the defense Jesse on that last drive he really did David I mean that was a master class in just reading coverage and being accurate line getting set on second [Applause] down the give to the tail back found a little bit of Running Room knocked down at the 24 after a pick up of four I think they called that knowing they weren't going to hit a home run so why would you call it that well you call it so third down becomes an easier down it's not third and long where I have to pass the football now all options on the table now on third down for this offense guys that's the end of the quarter and Oklahoma state has the lead here one period in the books and let's take a look at the steps now to see if these guys can get back in the game in the second quarter coming to the line of scrimmage on third down to the air it's Bowman it's complete to the left move those chains getting it out to the 29 yd line and trying to get this drive rolling third down a lot of times it comes down to not necessarily who's the most open who do you trust the most yeah it's not about the x's and the O's it's about the jimmies and the Joe's and when my guys better than you and I get you matched up out wide and I know I trust you I'm finding you defense closed down quickly after a gain of three they'll mark it at the 32 the Run game just has not working for this offense all game long saw it on that last play as well just not getting enough push up front on the offensive line they haven't been physical after the three yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven looking for a crease it's Gordon brought down at the 47 but not before he ripped off 15 well the defense knew coming into this one it was going to be a physical game guys are going to have to be great at the point of attack and blocks and make tackles they couldn't stop the offense from picking up that first down on that run play the Cowboys are in the hurry up out of the gun the give to the back still running at the 40 this defense was flailing as he weaved his way and got down to the 26 yeah defensively you better be ready to run east and west when you're playing against this offense in their running game that time the offense was able to outflank the defense to the right side for a big play and the Cowboys will have it first and 10 the give to the left how forward but stopped after a pick up of two to the 24 and the running back didn't get nice job by the defense you can tell they're focused in on this running back on this run game being physical getting knockbacks and limiting his carries picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down been showing them the run now they'll throw it using the quick game really nice job there by both guys the throw and the catch to work that defense and get the first down this offense is clicking everything working together really well coordinator quarterback offensive line good Rhythm good flow defense is going to have to find something to kind of mess up this timing they got going on it's first down from the 11 wide out in motion looking for a man it's Bowman going for six reels it in in the endzone touchdown Cowboy what a throw by the Q you think about you don't have much space near the sideline and he put that thing right on the outside of the sideline where his receiver could go make a play Not only does he make the play I'm pretty sure he got a foot in bounds and that's a great touchdown catch what a [Music] playmaker and let's hold on just a minute here as the officials are going to have a second look and they take another look at the play with the officials on the field were right and the play will stand and the extra point pushes the lead to 14 so a drive there of 82 Y and they finish it with an 11 yd touchdown D the kickoff team out there and ready to go on the move from inside is five couldn't find a way to create that broken field as heo at the 25 the Hogs send that offense back onto the field this is when the pressure can ramp up a little bit on an offense David when they start feeling the heat to answer a score and I think being down 14 you can kind of feel that way but dude if you put a good drive together this is a seven-point game so Palmer no need to pay it I was just going to say David I mean this thing can flip quick you go down score all of a sudden your defense gets a stop or who knows better yet gets a turnover this game is entirely different to give to the back they bring him down but a solid pick up to put them in position to pick up a first down and runs like that are like body blows in a boxing match four five sixy gains early turn into 20 30 40 yard gains later they really wear down defenses and they test their physicality Here Comes This Home crowd as the defense tries to get off the field on third down complete to the left and he gets it done on third down they move the chains and they'll mark it at the 44 this Proficiency in the passing game can take you back to yester year one of the great quarterbacks in Arkansas history and Joe Ferguson yeah just slinging the pill just being able being able to provide balance being able to attack down the field get people out of the box and and not be predictable that's a really good job by this [Applause] quarterback and a good solid pick up before the defense Cuts him down coaches always harp about staying ahead of the chains and when you can run with that type of efficiency on first down man you are doing just that the Razer back's moving quickly to the line he'll keep it himself and they make the tackle but plent for the first down there's an example of the offense taking advantage of all the attention the defense is giving this outstanding running back remember he's one of the best in the game they're expecting him to get the football so the quarterback says you know what I'll just keep it no one's keying on me I'm going to get up field and find an explosive play finally this offense starting to show a little juice they've got a first and 10 leaves it with the running back and he's all most to that first down marker there saying he's a little bit short they might want to bring out the sticks and measure but it looks as if he'll be just short of the first down the offense in hurry up mode looking to throw it's green using his legs keeping his eyes down field gets job done picking up the first down then getting down second and short is a great situation to be in and look at him he drops back to pass the football he doesn't have to throw the football he wants to be aggressive but he can just take off and scramble doesn't have to take a chance great being ahead of the sticks and the Razer backs have it with a first and 10 moving the running back trying to get the D to tip its hand caught behind the line it's Jackson and they pick up just a few on that completion man this guy's going to need some water when he gets to the sidelines they've been putting him to work on this drive right we've seen him tote in the rock with success now you're seeing him get involved in the passing game to they are highlighting his versatility here on this drive the Razer backs have moved it inside the 20 quarterback on the keep ER got enough space he rolls all the way down to the 5 yd line before they finally get him stopped o I like that option play I'd keep running that too because it's obvious the defense right now is really keying in on this running back that was a big point of emphasis for them all week long in practice and it's opening up holes now for the quarterback to run he'll pull it on the read and they try the middle of this defense and that is not happening the offense thought they had a good look to run that play into with the QB but there's just an example of a Defender winning his one-on-one battle and making a tremendous play great effort by that guy can the defense stop them again on second and goal pre- snap Motion in the back field they'll run it up the middle here looking for a path to the end zone and he was fortunate to get that one back to the line of scrimmage at the five no gain on the play it's looking like they're going to have to throw this one in now on third down David and you know the execution just has to be spot on timing especially at the quarterback position here and thinking about the defense they're aggressive in these situations they're going to play man they're going to play uptight on you so I know that now how do I counter punch and attack this defense any he Sprints to the end zone touchdown Razer what a run for this playmaker to just elude the defense and get in for the score and I tell you what defensively you can't get this guy get on the edges you cannot give up contain when your defensive ends you got to stay outside you got to make sure you know this guy is going to scramble and try to make plays and you got to make sure you keep him in the pocket he'll try to tack on one more and with the extra point every little bit counts as they get closer they put it in the end zone with a 12pl scoring drive and they punctuated it with the 5yd touchdown run just about set to kick it [Applause] away bring it back from inside to spot couldn't find a way to create that broken field as he stopped at the 25 Oklahoma state has it back and the offens is on the field now they need to put something together to answer that last score there's a lot of pressure too on this offense to have to execute at a high level they've got to score points David but they can't go too fast because their defense right now is tied and I think that's the difficulty being a play call like I have to balance all of those things my defense is a little bit tired I can't on the field but got to be aggressive because this is a back and forth type game so a lot to process and think about dropping back it's Bowman picked off trying to take it back he's at the 10 and he's going to take it all the way back touchdown Arkansas this time it's the defense finding ways to put points on the board there is nothing better than being a Defender seeing that ball in the end zone your eyes get big as saucers go jump on that puppy secure it get you a touchdown they'll try to attack one more on their [Applause] score right down the boulevard after that latest answer tied things up just about set to kick it away again here he comes from inside his own five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 Oklahoma State hoping to get the pistols firing on offense throwing right right on the money to the outside he dragged the toe and how about the ball placement only the receiver could get it the defense has their hands full trying to stop this guy in the slot they're going to have to figure something out to bracket him try and get two bodies around and maybe get some safety help as well because right now they do not have the answer for this guy they go to the ground found enough room to it into enemy territory they're down at the 43 yd line and a great job by the offensive line you're going to run the ball right at the middle you better control the line of scrimmage you can see the center the guard the tackles doing a good job getting on their guys just enough where this running back can get into space and make the big game now it's a first down from the 43 yd line they're getting this guy lathered up and that's what you're trying to do as a defense limit those damages when they run the football get them on the ground short gains to set your defense for positive situations down the road after picking up a couple at second and eight now the play fake C in the back field and Stewart and he goes out of bounds after coming up with positive yardage there and that's why they got to keep running the football man because play action is going to be a big part of this game plan you've got to get this tight end over the middle the field vertically and give him an opportunity because you just saw how dangerous he is after the catch let's see what they do on third down to the ground to try to pick up the first he just needed a yard on third down and there just wasn't any room to pick it up well you love to see that from the defense right it's like Ben don't break they've given up a bunch of plays on this drive but now that they're getting down close to field goal range you're seeing them start to stiffen up there yeah and plays don't matter anymore yards don't matter all that matters with these defenses nowadays is points and limiting them running for it on fourth down they stop him short of the marker and they'll turn it over on Downs two running backs alongside the quarterback the give to the right stoed almost in his tracks but strong enough to pick up one to the 35 [Applause] didn't get much on first down it's second and nine out of the shotgun they go to the ground he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three how about the defender being a heat seeking missile he was on radar he found the football and flew down with some bad intentions better find the earplugged here comes the noise backing this defense on third down throws to the wide out it's caught down field that'll be enough for the first down as they stop him at the 43 yd line there's a reason third down is called the money down what a great find by the quarterback great job finding his receiver at the end of the game you look at third down percentages tells a huge story and it goes a long way in deciding who wins a football [Applause] game Bing to move it through the air gets it out fast they'll wrestle him down just short of the first down I don't even think they're going to bring out the chain to measure this one well we knew coming into this game this offense was going to and get this receiver involved and get him involved early so here they are just finding an easy completion it's not a touchdown but they just want to get this guy lathered up and get him into a r less than a yard to go to pick up the first down and the defense picks up a sack getting the quarterback down at the 44 playaction pass success has a lot to do with selling that fake you could tell defense was not buying it got in the back field got the big play it's third down now and they ought to be able to get off one more play before the two-minute warning we'll take a quick break here two minutes to play in the first [Applause] half they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one on Third and long try to convert through the air finds him man on the left and they finally get him stopped but it's a big throw catch and he's down at the five That's What's So Scary About This offense they've got guys in the perimeter that can change the game in one single play and you saw it right there too much speed on the perimeter to create that explosive play and the Razer backs line it up with a first and goal motion from the offense to the air it's green fires to the end zone touchdown Razer backs and they add six more to the board with that trip to the house and I just love the execution by this offense late in the half man you want to take the lead you want to get that momentum on your side and they do it they finish it with the passing game and I tell you what heat that passing game up you can keep this Le keep the momentum and keep putting up numbers they'll try to add another to their [Applause] lead and the extra point is true and they're on top by seven 76 on the drive for the touchdown and the score comes on a 5yd touchdown pass the kickoff team out there set to boot it [Applause] away from inside the 10 here he comes not a lot of space to be found good Hustle by the coverage team and they stop him at the 21 Oklahoma state has it back and the offens is on the field one deep down the left side and they won't be able to connect down field looking for a big time play I know it was incomplete but I'm okay with it if I'm the offensive coordinator I'm going to keep taking shots down the field I'm going to make him honor that deep ball I'll hit some of those before the game's over the incomplete pass leaves him with second down he's looking to throw got it in the middle it's pressling using the pads using the stiff arm using all kind of strength to get it across the 25 to the 26 they'll hurry to the line here to try to get off that third down play to the air it's Bowman fires to the wide out got him down field finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down well look that wasn't a touchdown but that was a massive play for this offense they needed some momentum they needed to find a rhythm in what better way than converting on third down awesome job by the quarterback getting through this progression comes out throwing on first down snagged in the middle it's Owens there's a timeout called as this offense tries to a way to draw a little closer right on target with that last pass now it's second and medium he's looking to throw and the pass is incomplete thanks to a big hit my job is to make sure that ball comes loose and I got to go through that guy use my shoulder pad drive my feet really really be physical because if he bobbles it at all or as soon as his hand gets to the ball you can the difference when that body jerks forward and that ball starts to come loose and pop out receiver looks it in it's complete there's a Timeout on the field tight game here late in the first half he might have expected to see this DB up in his receivers kitchening instead nice little Zone and they pick up the first man offenses are getting so good Reese at seeing the holes in the zone knowing you're in zone knowing where to sit down how to make it an easy pitch and catch for the quarterback and on third short and that is exactly where the football was supposed to go offensive coordinators call drag routes anticipating man coverage even though the ball's only traveling two three four yards down the field if the receiver is able to get a rub and create some separation and the quarterback hits him in stride that little completion that can turn into a 20 30 yard gain over the middle it's Gordon the offense calls timeout and they won't have any more left this half and in the closing moment the first half they'll try to put a three spot on the board and he'll try to keep that smooth leg swing going for the second time today this one from 34 yd out it's good and the field goal to end the half takes us to half that's the end of the second quarter that means it's time to join Kevin and our halftime update all right fellas looks like you've had a very enjoyable day there today in Stillwater and it's been said football is a game of inches and guess what based on the comparison between third down conversion rate today and the average yard per play how can you argue that I mean the low-lying fruit is to look at some of the explosive plays we've seen in panic but really this game is going to come down to which team is more efficient when they have the ball and how they play when it matters most and with that let's head back to the home of the pokes and Boon picking Stadium kickoff and kickoff return teams on the field and we are just about ready to go in the second half the returner will field it and try to set up his offense in great field position and the coverage team able to make the tackle and Arkansas ready to send out this offense if it's working why change it and that running game was working in the first half I imagine we'll see a lot more of it here in the third quarter and you just know the offensive line was telling their coordinator put this on us let us continue to go out there push these guys around we can put this game on our back and end this thing by running the ball and this is a manhood question for this defense like as a defensive lineman and you're pounding the rock pounding the rock I got to physically rise to this challenge this defense has to play more inspired and More Physical in the second half at the 35 he's loose and he's brought down but the defender got a face full of stiff arm before he picked up that first down this offense all game long has been running really well and I'm really impressed by how well they've recruited at the running back position they've got some Dynamic players coming into the game at different points spelling each other keeping each other fresh they're hurting this defense back to pass it's green throws to the tight end off the deflection missed a great chance to force the turnover instead it'll be second down that is a tremendous job by the defender on that play Because when the ball was thrown his head was turned around he was watching the receiver quickly spun the head turned his shoulder located the ball and then knocked it down let's see what they've got on second down he's looking to throw reacted well to the tip but just couldn't squeeze the football instead of the turnover it'll be third down great job on the back end in coverage DB staying in the hit pocket of the Target and was able to swat that ball away Deb Rising as the crowd Gets behind this defense on third down here's his snap ready to cut one loose they've got the screen set up not a whole lot of room there on that screen pass as it just never developed you got to love that on defense one of the most critical statistics out there is how do you play on third down how do you prevent the opponent from keeping drives alive right there tackling the catch you gave up the completion whoopy Doo you set up fourth and long you're going to get the ball back go get some water and sell it fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way he'll call for the fair catch here Oklahoma State hoping to get the pistols firing on offense Jesse they had to kick a field goal the last time they had it yeah often times early in games you're just trying to find your Rhythm some things work some don't on that first drive Dave it be interesting to see what happens here in the second Drive yeah you got a feel for the defense now you understand what they're trying to do what their game plan is now you get to go into phase two of your game plan now on first down from the 28 wide receiver shows motion to the ground he's got it again at the0 there he goes they wrestle him to the ground but he's got plenty for a first down and that's all you want right you want that first down understand the situation understand I got to get North and South get a first down get a new set of downs the Cowboys in the hurry up [Applause] pulls and throws off the RPO and just a short safe pass play they pick up a few well if you're going to get first downs against this defense you're going to have to earn it you're going to have to make people miss this is an excellent tackling unit you saw it on that last play second down coming up the give to the back he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and sometimes for the defense it just takes one play right to create some momentum obviously this guy's been eating him up he's got over a hundred yards rushing on the day but finally David they get something positive here in the Run game defensively but you kind of know that coming in he's going to get his such a great back and he's had a great day need to put more plays together like that right there under heavy lets it Fly oh and he dropped it he had a touchdown right in his hands and couldn't hang on it'll be fourth down yeah this offense might want to think about moving the launch point for this QB because if you take hits like that from the pocket it's really tough to complete passes and the Cowboys will send out the punt unit the Hogs send that offense back onto the field here's another opportunity Jesse to stretch out this lead after punting last time I think it goes back to your Playmakers reys I think it's finding the guys that have been working for you earlier on in this game and getting them the football yeah and there's obviously no need to panic I mean think about it you got the lead you got the football you got to be smart with the football make your plays put a good drive together Here and Now on second down for this offense they'll move the running back to try to force the defense to adjust caught in the back field it's Jackson and they wrap him up but not before he's got enough for the first down that's a really nice looking throw and I'll tell you he fits in great with this offense because there's been this philosophical shift recently in the SEC offensively it used to be you had to run the football I formation three yards in a cloud of dust if you wanted to win but today though you have got to be able to throw you're when you think about all the great offensive play callers now in the and the ball slipped out defense falls on the ball going to be a turnover and how about this defense coming up with the play you want to make your quarterback a runner fine we're going to stop him and take the ball and they were prepared right this is a defense that looks like they studied film and they knew that this offense was going to attack them with the running quarterback on designed run so great job by the defense recognizing what was happening getting to the football and better yet creating a takeway Oklahoma state has it back and the offense is on the field they had to putt it away on their last possession but man what great field position this time I mean this is awesome like last possession didn't go great now you're set up in an opportunity to get some points start thinking about what plays I like Jesse as I cross the 50 there are a lot of offensive coordinators out there David and in this position they like to take a shot right away and try and capitalize on this field position didn't get much on first down it's second and nine they'll go right back to the Run they make the stop inside the 25 working closer to that Red Zone a gain of six line of scrimmage will be the 24 I like this guy as a running back because he can run between the tackles and he can also go outside he can really do it all this third down play more than manageable from the 24 can the defense stand tall wide now comes in motion with Jet Sweep pass headed to the end zone touchdown Cowboys and that one will give him the lead like a Thanksgiving turkey they're just being C no shot they have no idea how to get in this quarterback's head he's on fire everything he's doing he's working defensively we got to figure something out we got to try to a little bit different bring more pressure at this right shoot he's on so much fire you might as well just send everybody Blitz everybody live with the results cuz everything else ain't working anyways lining up to tack one more onto that lead and the extra point puts them up by a field goal quick strike offense on that three playay scoring drive and they finish things up with a dart from 24 y out about to kick it away after scoring the [Applause] touchdown and he takes this from inside the five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 and Arkansas ready to send out this offense that last fumble proved to be costly as they cashed it in for a touchdown yeah and so this defense now is Juiced they're excited and ready to go so this offense David they've got to get something going those turnovers can be contagious man it gets you excited and then when your offense takes it down the field and does something with it this offense better be ready to play against a motivated defense didn't get much on first down it's second and nine he'll do it himself and he is just engulfed at the line by this giant defensive tackle nice job by the defense shutting down all the options making was easy to read nice job going to the quarterback getting him on the ground Here Comes This Home crowd as a defense tries to get off the field on third down looking downfield it's green the throw to the outside is complete he steps out of bounds but it will be enough for a first down wow and what a great job by that quarterback finding his open receiver on third down you know guys one of the most telling stats at the end of the game is third down conversion percent if you're a great third down team it's invaluable to your offensive success and that's why teams drill third down so much in practice grabbed in the back field it's satna he is going nowhere stopped at the line of scrimmage well the offense is trying to get a big time playmaker the ball out in space quickly with the wide receiver screen but the defense is having none of it and here comes the offense on second down he's looking to throw get it out on the screen and he'll run across the sidelines after the good gain I tell you what if you want to be overzealous and you want to be a Blitzer all the time I like running the screen right behind him did a great job throwing the screen almost broke this one for a long game but it just keeps the defense a little bit more honest if you want to start bring a lot of pressure a completion but not quite enough for the first down third down coming for this this offense turns it on Midfield he gets it to the 38 yd line and they'll pick up a fresh set of downs well this is one of the fastest quarterbacks in college football and that's why the option's a good idea because if he can get out in space and he has a chance to get down field he is really difficult to tackle and he's very difficult to catch as you saw in that last play getting a first down the give to the running back from the shotgun knocked down at the 35 after a pick up of three small game I know but again the defense knows he's going to run the football he's willing to run the football not just drop back and pass make him on to the Run game you got to do a lot of this got three on first down it's second and seven out of the and they'll run it inside he had to fight for a couple down to the [Applause] 33 eighth play of the drive and to keep this one going they'll need to convert a third and five back to throw it's green cats open down the middle moving deeper into enemy territory move the chains it's first down at the 27 the Razer backs come to the line with a new set of downs off the play fake on first down to throw and they came up with that pick in the end zone what a stop that would have been man you've given up this drive and theyve come down the field and you had such an opportunity to get the pick and close the door and shut down the drive and not give up points that's a big missed opportunity for this defense this defense just can't get off the field the offense Unstoppable they'll run it out of the shotgun it's the emmo of this offense and they really put a lot on the offensive line go out and really try and establish their dominance and their assertiveness and they've done a good job of that early in this game running the football better find the earplugs here comes the noise backing this defense on third down from the gun wants to pass getting some heat under pressure and down he goes at the 33 all right this offense needs to come up with a solution for this Def because he is a problem they have got to find a way to help out the offensive tackle to prevent this guy from getting to the quarterback and on fourth down they'll try to put three on the board he's already made one field goal but this one going to need a big leg a 50 yd attempt coming oh and the attempt is no good and after the Miss they're still down by a field goal Oklahoma State hoping to get the pistols firing on offense and David how they would love to stick it in the end zone one more time after that last drive and once you get the defense on their heels and you back them off a little bit you get in a little bit of Rhythm it's really hard to stop Jesse and they're going to try to do it again right here and if you're this play caller you're loving what's happening right now because everything you dialed up on that last Drive ended up working out you're just looking at your play sheet everything you're picking is working let's see if they can pull it off again here the Cowboys racing to the line in the hurry [Applause] up on the run it's Gordon carrying the ball with an edge and hammering his way to the 40 this running back just doesn't go down easy it's just difficult for defenses to get him on the ground not over huge but if I'm an offensive coordinator I'm going continue to find ways to feature him and just you know what let his talent do the rest halfway there on first down it's second and five he'll put the tight end in motion off play action they're bringing heat strong pass rush gets to the quarterback and they get him at the 46 often times with play action you're asking the quarterback to hold on to the ball a bit longer and you're asking this offensive line to hold up and pass Pro a bit longer against this athletic front seven on defense it's going to be tough now facing a third and long looking to pass it's Bowman unloads to the wide out almost intercepted and what a momentum swing that could have been but they still force a fourth down and money down is where you see defenses really understand where the sticks are play great past defense know what's coming and get off the field and the Cowboys will try to pin them back with the punt this will be second time they've had to kick it away and the punt hits at the eight and goes into the end zone for the Touchback the Hogs send that offense back onto the field you want to talk about taking the wind out of your sails Drive the ball down the field and miss the field goal David you know what don't leave it up to Kickers execute better offensively I think you move the ball nice you got to keep that in mind but Palmer I think you got to stay aggressive and for field goals yeah because you got to know there's just no margin for error right now you just have got to be able to execute at a higher level didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and 11 grabbed over the middle it's Armstrong and the defense stops him just of the first down maybe needed a few more chain links to move the sticks and I love when you understand when I'm supposed to put some RPMs on that football you could tell he's thrown over the middle of the field he knows he's got Defenders there I got to throw this thing in there quick fast in a hurry nice job by the quarterback on Third and short they'll try to throw for it grabbed in the middle it's sategna he'll move it up to the 37 yd line and it'll be a first down well that down in distance the quarterback's got to get rid of it so quickly right he knows the defense is going to be bearing down on him so a nice job catching the gun snap and then turning and pivoting getting it out of his hands quickly and accurately to pick up the first he'll come out throwing on first down a strike down field and how about that what the doctor always ordered an explosive play to the 40 well that was a dart right there he's going to give Arkansas a chance because in the old days in the SEC you had to run the football if you were going to win championships today you better be able to get it done through the a you think of all the great play callers in this league and all the Heisman Trophy winners this league has seen at the QP position in recent years you better a to do it throwing the ball this guy I think gives Arkansas a chance with his arm oh he's going to try to get it all here and it falls incomplete but it could have been much much worse as the defender was right there nice job in coverage there offense trying to take a shot down field the defender able to tip that one up in the air and force it incomplete here comes the offense on second down wants to throw it's green he finds his man and good coverage by the defense just a short gain great job creating space that's what you're supposed to do when you get man coverage you got to find a way to get a step make it easy for your quarterback to read that leverage and when he drags across the field he can see had him he completes it for the first down Debs Rising as the crowd Gets behind this defense on third down pressure coming they're setting up the screen they finally get him stopped but what a good job by that front wall to set up the screen and create some lanes for their running back that was just a perfectly choreographed screen the line got out on time the running back had a wall in front of it and I think the quarterback did a really good job of selling pass then kind of dodging the pass rush getting it to the running back and then let him do the rest you got him in space he'll pick up yards in a hurry he's got it on the right G nudge it in not sure you could get much closer but it'll be first and goal and talk about spreading the ball around everyone getting a chance to show off the hands based on the number of targets we've seen when you're dealing with a deficit like this it's all about somebody stepping up to make a play and you might as well start here in the fourth quarter they'll try to run it in touchdown Arkansas they've got the lead here in the four and this offense really showing their physicality running the football when it matters in the fourth quarter in crunch time to take the lead in this football game P unit on the field and the extra point is good and every Point counts it's now a fourpoint lead in the fourth about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown fielded In The End Zone it's Presley he's got great speed got a little room he's going to get loose he will score touchdown Oklahoma State just took it the entire length of the field end to end Coast to Coast Nationwide for the touchdown and how about the fans in the stands go no no no no no take a knee take no yes yes yes yes over 100 yard for the kickoff return nice taking the making a huge play needs this one to push the lead to a field goal he's got it in the lead is up to a field goal you get a return like that and it can't just be the guy with the ball who's right everybody has to do a job and they did that in brilliant Fashion on that one they're lining up to kick it Off full of momentum after housing that last kick off from inside the 10 yd line he'll bring it back and they'll haul down the returner to start us on the next Drive from the gun they'll try to impose their running game out across the 20 to the 21 yd line a three yd gain you know it's so important for offense is to want to keep third Downs manageable the way you do that is by having success like that running the football on first down after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven running back goes in motion back to pass it's green quickly complete and he was able to get away from one tackle but plenty of help was on the way decent pick up on that play you run the slant route day one and this is something that the quarterback and the wide receiver has done a 100 million times out there on the field in the off season I see manto man coverage I know I can run the slant boom stick my foot in the ground throw it completion to my wide receiver he'll make a play on third down he's got enough for the first as they mark it at the 32 and that's so tough as a defense because they only got to get inches but I got to find a way to somehow get a knock back stop the running back's feet right there I couldn't do it he gets downhill just enough and he gets the first down it's a good job too there on third down by the offense because a major statistic in football in terms of winning and losing is how good are you at staying on the field keeping drives alive whether it's third and long or third and inch it you just have to go execute they do it well this tight end is so athletic that times they line him up in different parts of the field that time he was in the slot nice job running the route finding the open space in the defense for the completion still some work to do after that last completion it's second down off the play fake grabbed behind the line it's h they get him on the ground but it's a first down well they pick up the first against Zone coverage the biggest key there is the quarterback understanding that a it's Zone but B what kind of zone is it is it one high safety is two high safeties and then you know instinctively where your best throw where your highest percentage completion is based on what type of Zone coverage it's going to be caught in the back field it's Armstrong he is stopped behind the line of scrimmage they'll lose yard on that one getting suffocated right away how about the DB just seeing that initially pulling the trigger get into him get him on the ground get the tackle for now on second down back to throw it's green quickly complete knock down immediately but a nice pick up on that one you know the defense doesn't have an answer for this slot guy right now they may want to think about bracketing him having a Defender play to the outside and to the inside probably some sort of Zone coverage where you're trying to get two bodies forcing the quarterback to have to go somewhere else with the ball on Third and long trying to have a big comption [Applause] here and the Razer backs decide to P it away they'll look to pin him [Applause] deep he'll get it out to about the 20 yd line and that's where they'll Mark him down Oklahoma state has it back and the offense is on the field they missed an opportunity to extend this lead the last time they had it Jesse yeah they got to be able to regain that momentum right go back to what was working earlier on in this one David to me that starts with being the more physical team I definitely agree being the more physical team but understanding the situation of the game you're still winning you got the football back now put a nice drive together and execute halfway there on first down it's second and five they go right back to it giving him his P really good job to pick up a chunk of yardage and get it out to the 39 yd line man it's so nice to have a guy that you can depend on like this offense is built around him for a reason just a a good running back you can see gets north south doesn't dance picks up positive yards breaks tackles he's just a really good player and that's why this offense runs through from the shotgun they'll pick up four second and Six coming it's a point in the game I think as a coaching staff where you really challenge your offensive line to go win the football game right we've got to lead late we're going to run the football and the defense and everybody in the stadium knows that's what's going to happen can we run the ball down their throats and impose our will that's what this offense right now is trying to do the quick out stopped at the 46 yd line give him 10 yards and the first down well he has been the go-to guy all game long he has been lighting up the scoreboard this defense cannot cover him the Cowboys are moving quickly down the field out of the gun the inside give keeps the legs moving and he goes out of bounds after a nice pick up on that one they' got lead here in the fourth quarter and there's certainly still plenty of football to go but this is where you'd love to control the flow of the game right you want to dictate everything to the defense and you do that by running the football that was a really nice run this offensive line is firing off late looks like they're getting stronger as the game goes on and that is a good sign for the offense oh so close to paying off the tip drill had it in his hands but it falls incomplete couldn't find his man last time now they'll have to convert third and four looking to throw it's Bowman and they'll miss the connection here on third down and with that incompletion it now sets up a very interesting decision for the head coach right you've got a narrow lead you kick the field goal now you force the opponent to have to at least score a touchdown to retake the lead but you can also sees a lot of momentum if you get it here on Fourth and short if you're able to score a touchdown this is a completely different game fourth down and the punt team sends it the other way and the punt hits at the six and they can't down it and it'll be a Touchback and Arkansas ready to send out this offense they hope to be able to cash in on this drive David after having to punt it last time yeah and I think this offense needs to start it with the first play you need to be successful and the heat will get home and the quarterback goes down at the 17 they tried to go play action but that did not affect the defensive tackle he was Bull rushing his guy collapsing the pocket he comes away with a sack a first down sack can be a drive killer now it's second and 13 he's looking to throw and the pass is incomplete jar Loose by the hit Here Comes This Home crowd as the defense tries to get off the field on third down looking to throw and he needs a chunk play trying to escape and get it himself Nifty little Scamper on this one enough for the first down and he slides in safely that's so frustrating I I got you in the perfect situation I get you in third and long more predictable I know it's going to be a pass and then Houdini pulls the rabbit out of the Hat makes something happen scrambles around gets the first down goodness gracious this guy is so good from the shotgun they'll run it and I think they'll give him two on that one second and eight coming up that's a really good job by the defense wrapping him up getting them on the ground take away that run game make them onedimensional put him in passing situations really good job by the defense picked up two yard on that last one they need eight on second down and that pass is intercepted bringing it back and it's going to be a pick six touchdown look for State the DB saw it he thought don't drop it don't drop it then thought don't get caught don't get caught and he didn't the pick six these guys can play offense too now look at this I showed you I can be a wide receiver coach might split him out at wide receiver next week after making that big play but defense great job making the interception and you're right doing something with it don't just slide down don't be content take that thing all the way back try to add another to their lead and the extra point extends the lead to double figures at [Applause] 10 they're lining up to kick it off after the pick six and that defense will come out feeling it on the run from inside Z five he was hoping for something a little more Dynamic but they get him on the ground at the 20 the Hogs send that offense back onto the field the big thing now don't get rattled by that last pick six David N it was a big mistake uh obviously the defense took advantage of it but you got to put it behind you Jesse I'm sure you know a thing or two about throwing a pick six and and how to rebound I believe I've only thrown one in my life but yes I do because of that singular instance I'll say this you can't let that play Beat you twice you got to go out not try to get it all back here in one play Just execute the offense moving the running back forcing the defense to adjust fires to the middle he's got an open man and he was loose out the gate and doesn't go down until he gets to the 48 yd line and the quarterback knew exactly where he wanted to go with the football had time spins the ball deep nice job by this off understanding the defense is giving them and create the explosive play the razor BS want to pick up the [Applause] tempo the RPO fire complete to the left on the move at the 30 he was loose and setting sail and they stop him at the 6yd line how nice is it as a quarterback when you don't have to throw post routs to get great stats no I can just throw it quickly to one of the fastest players in the entire nation and let him burn this defense after that huge gain now a chance to cash it in from just outside the five fast motion from the offense to throw it's green he's got it and he'll be smacked to the ground this quarterback right now is in a Groove and he's doing a nice job in pre-nap he's reading the coverage and he's getting an idea of where he wants to go with the football that's why the ball's coming out of his hands so quickly that's why he seems like he's in a great Rhythm the Big Fellas coming out in the goal line defense slams it ahead and he takes it to the house touchdown Razer well how about that and after that touchdown we might have a finish after all Jesse I love it reys and this team is not quitting yeah they're down on the scoreboard right now but they are clawing and they are scratching their way back in this game they're going to keep going hard until this clock reads all zeros lining up for the Pat and it's up and good as they draw Just a Touch closer a very efficient five play scoring drive and they Clos the deal pushing their way inches into the end zone almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown he'll start the return inside his five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 Oklahoma State hoping to get the pistols firing on offense power football with the run really needed a play like that to get out of their own end they move the chain they Mar it 29 and this guy really has been a Workhorse today he's made plays when his offense has needed them the most he's a guy who's reliable they know they can turn around give him the football and he'll go make things work out they're going to need him to finish this game he has to continue playing well after that big run there they're going to go right back to him on first down stopped after a pick up of four good run to get it out to the 34 at this point of the game the offense has the lead the offensive coordinator knows they want to keep running the football so he's going back he's looking at his playlist and he's saying which runs work the best for me in this game what can I lean on right here to make sure we win this one after the productive first down play it's second and six the play action fake quickly out to the tight end and he'll have enough for the first down at the 42 they pick up the first down on the drag route I know that seems like a simple route but it's actually a lot more complex than what it looks like because that route changes on whether it's man or Zone if it's man coverage he's flying across the field if it's Zone he's got to sit down over the ball in a soft spot giving his quarterback a place to go with it nice job of those guys being on the same page there he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and the defense is going to have to have more plays like this he has had a ball game so far running wild all day long defense finally comes up with a stop maybe get a little momentum here over a 100 yards already in this game so if I'm on Def here I'm adding more guys to the Box anticipating that they're going to continue to give this guy touches today that's caught it's Presley and the defense settled in to stop that one for a short game I love offenses and quarterbacks that are willing to take the easy stuff take those easy throws that are guaranteed to get positive yards yeah I'm going to take big shots down the field too but don't forget it's easier to pick up second and five third and five and it is when we start getting those long yard situations third long and he'll try to throw for it got a man in the middle they ripped off a big one and they get it down to 27 and they did everything right in this 4minute type situation trying to bleed the clock first you get the completion then you get the first down and you stay in bounds you could not execute that play any better and the Cowboys will hustle to the line [Applause] going up top on first down got a in it's Owens and it is well blocked as they pick up enough for a first down this is so interesting right now watching this offense stay aggressive they've got the lead in the fourth quarter and you're thinking at home we got to just run the ball and try to bleed the clock they found something on defense they're taking advantage of two straight completions I won't be surprised if they throw it again he want that clock to run a Defender Miss they get him down but not before he picks up six to the seven yd line when the offense can run the football and you can feature a guy like this that will get more yards in this block that you can really depend on hangs on to the football like it makes offense super easy especially down the stretch when you want to eat that clock and you want to possess the football just nice to have that kind of we've reached a two-minute warning in this offense trying to milk this clock and keep time on their side going to work in the Red Zone they can pick up the first down without getting it into the end zone here's the hand off he'll be brought down at the five yd line and this defense is on it heels defense uses a timeout quickly trying to get that ball back and preserve time for their offense really need to pick up this conversion and avoid having to settle for the field goal they'll try to run for it can white cross the plane to get the six but they'll have the first down timeout called there by the defense desperate to get the ball back and save as much time as possible the clock and the scoreboard on their side as they come to the line first and goal wide receiver coming across in motion the give they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one quick timeout called by
