Kroger Admitted to Hiking Prices Above Inflation

Kroger just admitted that they've been jacking up prices on milk and eggs way above inflation and here's the kicker they're now trying to merge with Alberton and that would create the largest supermarket chain in US history and that merger could mean even higher prices and fewer choices for all of us consumers the FTC the Federal Trade Commission is blocking the merger arguing that it would eliminate competition and hurt consumers but Kroger is pushing back promising that it's going to somehow benefit everyone the truth Kroger has a track record of putting profits over people if this merger goes through we could be looking at higher prices worse conditions for workers and less power for consumers so we need to stay vocal and demand accountability
