Torie Bowie, NBA Finals, Brittney Griner airport incident, Mayweather v Gotti "fight"

foreign [Music] because it's your boy here I'm gonna be on the highways and byways tomorrow Wednesday morning 4 a.m in the morning I'm hitting the road to Oregon good Lord yep that don't make no sense but makes no sense zero you told you told me about it but you know I I don't listen I I don't listen but we still we're gonna go do what we got to do anyway but we're gonna keep bringing team no sleep to the community anyway we pre-record and bring it to you uh yeah regardless let's go ahead and just start with we you know what was actually we don't have too many detrimental stories but we do have one story that I guess we're gonna lead with that has some some ignorance to it but before we do that yeah gotta say a prayer to Tori Bowie's family she's an Olympic sprinter she died giving birth unfortunately yeah no no I remember seeing that yeah yeah I want to make sure I want to make sure we acknowledge that and our prayers are with her and her family um that's an unfortunate situation um complications but I do believe you know I try to spend everything that's in a positive nature just so I don't go crazy um I think people need to be aware that you know there are a lot of complications when women give birth there is there are and women I know that are early don't go see doctors need to go need to go see see positions and make sure everything is okay yeah before before they you know when they go before they go into birth to make sure they're healthy because this is a tragic situation unfortunately yeah and it's something that you you and I can't fathom or figure out you know right we're never gonna be in that shoe right but but again it's it's unfortunate and it's a sad story because I remember we were actually we reported on Tori and some of the other things that her and some of her other teammates were doing but or maybe nobody reported on when she got pregnant yeah that's what it was and then how she had to step away from from racing but man this this is this is a tragic story tragic situation and um we got to bring this in to have the conversation I I would still love to find a coaching moment or some healing and just to try to figure out how what what did did we do something like from a medical side is there something that medicine can do to make sure that this doesn't doesn't happen again I don't know I'm I'm maybe being ignorant to him but this is just 2023 women should not be dying giving birth yes but I mean we also don't know what complications if there were any right uh not quite sure what the situation is because it's you know I'm blessed man I I you know I have five kids all of them came out healthy I'm blessed beyond beyond you know my wildest dreams and my beliefs yes I can only imagine if there was a complication and I remember when my oldest daughter was born you know there was there was a she there was an infection right you know I lost you know who knows and I was going crazy just when that happened I can only imagine that those complications during the birth um and it's usually typically with the child I believe not with the with the adult um not mistaken but you know this is it was a complication with her and I probably you know might have been one of those situations do we save her that we saved the baby you know then we also know that high blood pressure goes into effect with these type of things right or you know bleeding internal bleeding there's so many things that go they can go on with the with the birth that me us as men wear blueberries please hold my wife up while they put the epidural in lower back and you know that was it right she did all that everything some ice chips right that's about that's about as extensive as is our experience is to itself um all I can say is prayers for her and her family man I know this is this is a blow regardless if she's Tori Bowie or the she's any other woman this is a blow man and like I said please go see doctors um please do those prenatal checkups please take those prenatal meals yeah please you know rest get plenty of rest your body and do the things you're supposed to do because we as we know man something like this shouldn't be happening like you said 2023. it's a sad thing man it's a sad I'd love to get maybe a physician somewhere you know to come on and and educate Ryan just to talk about even like you're saying and we assume this because a lot of us who our parents have been through classes and been through the uh early Parenthood classes of what you can what you should do and breathing techniques and taking care of of the mother and things of that nature but uh I still would love to have maybe someone with a degree or someone with certification and and help us to understand this because and we're talking about it because it's revolving around the Sports World with with Tori and all but this is just life conversation that I think we need to have anyway and it's it's you know there's an education of them right for me yeah yeah inspiring fathers people that are about to be fathers don't want to be fathers they need to understand and learn because man something like I couldn't imagine my significant other passion away oh man yeah but but that that is something that you but I think that's something you need to be aware of that it can't happen but you need to know what's wrong what are all the signs or foregoing signs if there are any to see what's going on so you can help prevent it or make sure she gets to a doctor on time where I don't know auditory situation why she died just yet they just said she passed away but I mean I'm quite sure whatever complications happen our prayers are with their family man I know this is just a hard thing to kind of overcome and we want to make sure to I don't want to put it on the back burner it shouldn't be on the back burner shouldn't be in the front of sports but it's not unfortunately so exactly good point good point right there uh staying I guess um I'm going to Pivot a little bit and stay on on the side of women um and and then we'll go into the NBA in a minute but staying on the side of um women women's safety and Brittany Greiner yes going through the airport where they're with their with their squad with her team being approached being harassed by by someone and and saying why do you hate America right and just just speed when that kind of madness out there and now the WNBA is all right I'm gonna say this is finally looking at better safety mechanisms and better safety protocols I did not know that the WNBA that they don't travel on Charter planes now I see come on that's I don't even know if they apply first class to be honest or a business class I'm not sure what they what they do as far as travel is concerned but but we're witnessing that turning point right remember I was telling you like things look like they're starting to get better and everybody in their mama should be thinking LSU if you're in the WNBA for what LSU did in the championship and so much hoopla around how that happened and how everything went I think that as part of brought a new light on WNBA and I think things are gonna change because money is starting to be invested in their in their product and I told you how many times I've been raving for like the last time like man that's a it's a good product yeah yeah Mark texted you in the middle of a game these women out here doing what they need to do man yeah it's such a good it's such a good product but it's unfortunate that it always has to come instant incidents have to happen before they may change you know there's always something that has to happen before they have to make change which they should be forthright like they do with the men's basketball like they make sure Protocols are in set in place or not and I understand man that's a financial thing um we all get that part but I do believe in that we we've talked about the so many times WNBA has such a good product they can Mass Market that product and get enough money for them to take those precautions instead of being reactive they got to be more proactive what they're doing because they have a really good commodity and I'm telling people if they haven't watched the WNBA game or a girls college game or even high school they need to go support these women playing sports and watch them listen I'm I'm sure I'm I'm cheering for Vegas and and mercury and the Phoenix Market that's who I've been watching well in New York too like New York yeah all all them squads man Sabrina and uh wasn't Brianna Stewart they some bad callers out there man so yeah they got some pride they got some they got some basketball players no products so take them out get them support and man get them on some charter flights and give them some proper security when they go through go through United and and Southwest don't yeah don't put them on Spirit no more right yeah get these women we don't need to be you know it's disappointing like at least if you're going to do that Russia you're right why don't they have security around them to have somebody that's there to watch over them I mean the incident with Brittany Greiner obviously it's an a-hole right yeah a a-hole yeah just one one that's five minutes of fame one to say something to somebody is it really necessary for you to say anything at that point if you don't disagree about what she stands and what she believes just keep your mouth shut and keep it moving like you do if that was a seven foot black man you wouldn't have probably said that that's true like I ain't gonna oh he's too big I'm not gonna mess with him but yeah you want to go ahead and attack a woman it kind of just shows that person's character weak-minded person and want to take one to take advantage of of of spewing whatever he want to dispute yeah and Brittany Greiner and obviously you know he was going to get five minutes of fame I mean people aren't stupid anymore they do anything for clown chase so if I make a big Ruckus at her you know it's gonna somebody's gonna record it It's Gonna Get Air and now we're talking about it yeah so I I don't you know we gotta just be I think we got to be careful who we waste our energy with I would rather for her to deal with it in the airport and let it go nowhere instead of giving these people five minutes of fame all over the Internet and on the news be careful who you waste your energy with man that's that's yeah that's hot right there brother okay I like that I like that you know I'm chopping that up right yeah be careful when you put your energy with uh absolutely so let's let's move on into current news in terms of what's what's been happening we had a gentleman's bet we we talked about them NBA finals yep uh I wanted one team in my heart I wanted one team but I but I think you beat me to it it lead me to it and I messed around and had them I had them nuggets I'm not I'm not mad at the fact that I had it in nuggets but talk to us about what you think the ending of 2023 NBA Finals Denver finally getting one over over Miami Heat I think where the error now where you know it's okay for small markets to win right Denver's a smaller Market it's not the LA New York Miami they they've done a great job I mean if we're going to celebrate a team they've done a great job they've organically grown that team they haven't brought in all these random free agents to try to make a super team doing it they've organically grown it they kind of followed I think the motto of Golden State Warriors how they organically grew their team to win it now they're organically growing their team they grow their team to win it and I'm happy man I'm glad I mean your kids are showing everybody why he's the best big man in the league you know doesn't look it doesn't look physically imposing but he is um did a great job but I tip my half off to Miami man I mean Miami man made a run like no other the HC you know they play they played in a play in game they beat the number one team which was Milwaukee they beat Philadelphia they beat Boston and they finally came up short against the team that was they were over man with playing against Denver I tip my hat to them and I'm a Jimmy Butler's fan he got me convinced yeah I'm a Jimmy Butler's fan I wanted them to win I wanted to take the underdog I was rooting for the underdog and this last game man they they gave him a push like that's true they were all the way into the game and you know when Jimmy got high to hit those back-to-back threes I was like oh here they come but Denver just had a little bit too much older them off you know they had a little bit too much but yeah shout out to jokic Murray so that's where I want to go so so tomorrow the interviews after the game with jokic I saw a little bit I was in and out you know you know eating and food and all that stuff okay really don't care okay just doing his job and okay I got another triple double okay cool oh okay I'm MVP okay we got a trophy that's all good it's all about the team but you know what at the end of the day he said man listen I need to get back home I I need to get to Serbia because I got these horses that I need to tend to and just that mindset right that's completely different than someone like and I don't want to talk negative to anybody but that's different than I think of LeBron that's different than uh I don't know somebody else right just in any U.S Superstar is a different mindset there you go any U.S right he's not fully consumed by his job no and and worrying about that aspect yeah he's gonna get some trophies yeah he's gonna get a nice check yeah you finally got this you know you got this championship for this for the city and for the franchise but I got a new daughter I got my wife I gotta get back home to see my family he was sitting there doing his interviews and his phone was blowing up he said man listen I got to take care of this I don't even know if I can be here for this parade on Thursday right that's that's crazy when you compare that to someone else it's funny you say that because you remember when Giannis won it a couple years he was the same mindset remember that's true wanted he he was holding his daughter yeah his girlfriend or his wife at the time he's like you know I'm I'm so happy I won and I'm so thankful but you know hey I got I gotta be with my daughter my little one you know I'm gonna do the interviews but she got to come with me because my wife I wanna she's gonna calm her down and then you know we'll do the things I think those are those are great images and I think that's a good thing and those are good Role Models because they're saying their president's like yo don't let this sport consume you so much yes where it takes away from everything else and we're starting to say that I think we're starting to see great family men LeBron great family man Steph Curry great family man you know your kids and Giannis and so on and so the list goes on and on great family man guys that are doing things the right way and they're starting to come to the Forefront where before you know we they would always want to pull somebody's the villain there was no villain in this series remember every time they want to have a villain and a hero no villain in this series everybody's good everybody played real hard their talents show through the whole way your kitchen them got the best of Miami I I like I like where the NBA is going with it because now we got Milwaukee small Market Denver small Market yeah organically grown or gonna go some Milwaukee had to bring in uh Drew holiday but pretty much organic we've grown teams that are dismantling these super teams right the super teams aren't winning no more and that's good I think that's a good thing like you got a draft develop get them out there or play get them some experience and then win kind of back to the old school way and I like it the fact a big man won it like we've been playing small ball for like the last six or seven years and those symptoms are really one finally but Jokers is a different kind of Center he could play outside inside yeah yeah they only made one of him listen the Lord broke the mold when he because there's nobody else that can get triple doubles every day yeah yeah but you gotta think he's got to pass it inside they got to make the shots he got a good squad around him yeah yeah that when he's throwing the ball they're making the shots uh Aaron Gordon made those two monster rebounds at a block shot he made a huge block shot so I think they did a good job in Denver about building um the road those role players around jokic and Murray like you know they built they they're I mean they're really Gordon and those guys are really good role players uh uh and take his poke great role player plays the job I think they just really did they know their role they play their role they're good but we all we already know when it comes to championships people start coming pecking and start depleting the squad and everybody's trying to chase that bag because they want that money and rightfully so when you win those championships I mean I'm sitting with all the great dynasties I don't they say Denver's a dynasty I don't I don't think they're Dynasty I think everyone's gonna be really good yeah I don't I don't I don't even know if they're gonna win it again next year everybody's all they're going to win again next year I don't the West is too hard man and injuries you never know what happens when the injuries and we never know what free agent is going to wear so we'll have to wait and see today's new tip off in the middle of the year you know we'll have to waste like you said because you know Jamal was out you know with his tour and ACL and didn't know what he'd be able to walk again but he came back and lit him up there but so you know shout out to Denver to the nuggets the franchise the owners the team they they got one what is it 46 47 years is that a right or is that reason for folks in Denver to act a fool is is right is that the reason right there okay it's it's been four decades since we got anything this is our first championship ever being being in the NBA everybody should just be out there having fun drinking so maybe set off some fireworks I saw them setting off fireworks you know doing that yelling and screaming and doing whatever but come on now we got people last night this is different because typically we have these celebrations and you'll have maybe some looting or maybe some destruction of property right this this is set a new president shooting that's what I'm saying right man here we are in Denver I mean I don't know I'm not gonna name any other places if they was in Miami if they but Denver Colorado here they are 10 people wounded last night after people were celebrating the the championship title this this don't make no sense how come we can't how come we can't just loot anymore how come we can't just climb on on the telephone pole or the light pole and just do and do that how come we gotta come out here and be shooting people when 95 of us are celebrating a good thing why does this have to be a lead story man I think it's just like when we have a concert or somebody's shooting we want to celebrate some somebody want somebody wants someone else to be miserable right when they're doing it somebody wants to be able to impose they're hurting their pain or somebody else and there's too much access to guns which we talk about all the time why are these people better have a gun why why is there so many guns out there this ain't the right to bear arms they're saying this ain't the right this is a person that's shooting a gun recklessly and hurting people God thank God he didn't kill no one at least no one died yet from those from their injuries um this is sad man we can't even celebrate no more Victory we can't even celebrate accomplishments we can't even celebrate anything without somebody being shot what we was talking about the other day I mean the other day man you're offline graduation in Virginia yeah somebody kills a kid and his father at the graduation we came to celebrate our accomplishments no more without somebody wanting a heck to fool and do something with a gun so this is this is where we live in now man you talk about all the time like we get leery with our kids being out and about because we don't know you like we don't know and you're like you said your daughter when it was what 10 minutes away from that incident happened in Sacramento they were at the event when when it all broke out and they had left that Taco Bell that was on the news about 20 minutes early before it all it all hit so and that yeah it just it just I don't understand it it's just this shooting probably drug deal related as this story says but again around where the largest group of folks were celebrating during the night now senseless man and I don't want to go out and do anything right maybe just one and then then who wins right if if these types of incidents make us not want to go to a concert not want to go to a game not want to go to a show or whatever the case may be because we we fear whomever whomever the culture is you right so we can't just say it's just black and it was just white right but it's just it's just folks out there who just don't have any home training or whatever I mean acting ignorant they think they can hide behind to justify this and the bottom line there's too many freaking guns out there too much access to guns and too many people that don't need to have guns have guns and now there's this perception or I can use it anytime anywhere on anybody you know there is no like in our day there was a cold right don't shoot at schools you don't shoot it right you don't shoot this you don't do that was a kind of a code the guys that were gangsters that were hard there still was a cold that is gone they don't care these people don't care anymore and I'm not saying it's just youngsters because they tend to always want to blame it on youngsters or these young kids are always doing the shoe no these people are 20 25 26 30 31 32 even in their 40s just doing this at some point in our in our culture we came to a point like using a gun is the answer and it's not no one wants to fight no more if you're out of the problem no one gets a physical fight because you may lose people aren't don't want to be smart enough to have an intelligent conversation just to agree to disagree and keep it moving and I don't know whatever happened to apologize and saying I'm sorry when you did something wrong wow that's that's too much of a grown man move right now A grown for a move right there actually admit that you might be wrong and apologize I'm wrong sorry man I didn't mean to step on your shoes no I'm sorry my bad I didn't mean to man you roll my Jordans okay cool man you know I got I got 20. I saw like I don't mean here you go didn't do it on purpose yeah it ain't enough to cause a problem for me to lose my life exactly and me being in a crowd celebrating a victory of drinking a little bit hanging out shouldn't be a justification for me to get a chance before you have an opportunity to shoot me and let me lose my life I don't get it I I don't I I don't get in and I will I will probably never understand this mentality and I don't and you're right it's not even an age demographic right so I can't say this to teens I can't say it's just 20 year old or 40 year old or whatever it's just apparently rampant now in in society and here here's a legal thing right yeah you're right and here's a left right center kind of kind of thing someone someone needs to know something about the allocation and access to weapons Firearms whatever you want to call them I'll be political collect and call them whatever you want me to call them but just just that aspect right there and and again this stemmed out of an apparent drug deal as well so you know so we need to obviously have that conversation and deal with that as well but again at the core I mean what kind of drug deal you gonna have in the middle of a parade what I was gonna tell you what a bag of weed right here and it went bad I'm gonna pop myself you a little bit of pills I hand to hand it went bad right here in the middle you're not selling no big so I'm saying like a dope deal where somebody's selling kilos yeah or something really big this is like this is like yo man let me let me get a couple pills let me get some let me get some weed off you real quick and then that goes into an argument which again shouldn't justify somebody out to lose their life or getting shot you know I think we don't I don't know man like like ever since to me it all started like back when that shooting in Las Vegas right when he shot in the crowd that crowded when that concert killing them they Scout you from the hotel remember that yes a sniper from the hotel from that point on until now it just seems like no one cares about life hmm no one cares if you're innocent guilty old young black white green purple uh homosexual heterosexual whatever they don't no one cares about any of that they want to take their anger out on whomever and they'll justify it by some religious belief that they had some Epiphany they had about their religious belief um some I think BS about I I think mental health is the BS BS cop out to me in a lot of ways and some of it's just plain ignorance because you hate for no reason what happened this is funny to me what happens just a good old shooting over money shooting somebody over some money and I don't mean to be funny but I'm saying it's crazy what happened to good old just shoot somebody with some money there's a justification behind here nowadays there's no justification man and I just think people just don't value life they don't value life at all sad and no no normally I'm the glass half full instead of empty but okay I'm I'm We're Not Gonna dwell and and be downers here but you know again you gotta drive tomorrow man you got to be happy yeah yeah you know I got to drive nine hours in in a couple hours I'm not even gonna sleep tonight so that that's what that is that's why I'm still drinking coffee okay let me all right so let's move on to that a Denver Nuggets did what they need to do it's unfortunate at this particular situation had to happen again glad no one lost their life over but man hopefully we can take care of that I'm over here watching this hockey match um Las Vegas is serious about getting this Championship these golden knights are up six to one against these Panthers and I'm just going to tell you right now if you still got time to throw some money on this on the line if you still got time to throw a bet in I wouldn't put my money on the golden knights folks good Lord okay to Vegas though right I mean getting some winning seasons going on with some teams they got two what like the WNBA winning last year going to teach you here so um it's always a rebuilding year for them Raiders don't do that they might as well put gluten back in there write in some more letters to everybody some more emails you know everybody isn't everybody is at mini camp now so you know maybe this could be a year to date no I I I'm sorry I I shouldn't even said that I take it all back nope yeah but you know I I don't even see I don't even make no sense myself but all right man so where where else we got I I had the video of just some debauchery that was happening out there on Golf and I'm listen I keep leaning towards golf because it's alive money and y'all thought we was playing but this Liv money and you can't just be rolling out there on the field when these when these cats are playing because security may not know who you are my man hit this 70-something foot Eagle Putt and you got people running out there on on the green don't know who you are and you you spraying uh champagne security put them hands on them come to find out that was actually a player that was Adam hadwin who got tackled by security while he was trying to celebrate Nick Taylor's uh a win there but but again it's just a different type of mentality no no no they are not messing up hey CeCe wait wait that's what John morent need some some jumbo he needs somebody to be on this side that's going to take any take off and make the tackle no matter who it's gonna be they not mess up the lib money man that lib money combined with that PGA Tour and that other Golf League money they are not going to let their Superstars be in any kind of Jeopardy no plan listening don't come around here asking the food running around like he won't do something and that's exactly what that is right there you're right John need these type of folks around him you need this kind of people in his life he's needed his his uh his security team his detail you know mini camp so we about to get back into that looking forward to that world yeah uh like I say the hockey world is about to come to an end here and really shortly and I think we can say that these uh Vegas golden knights are doing it uh yeah but we got we got I mean we got some good stuff coming we got College the College World Series Major League Baseball but college baseball World Series I wish this was live right now and not record it because to hear you actually admit that you like some kind of baseball like way to Bennett you know why man because it's exciting Bears is exciting and it's pretty much what two you get two losses and you're out right you gotta win right to move on right that's an exciting Major League Baseball man 165 games and they be hurting injured I've got my fingernail got torn and I'm out for 10 weeks admit it man how you get here if you get hit with the ball I can get it ain't nobody okay I'll get the hamstring thing that's cool but some of these dudes man you know obviously the picture you talking about Aaron judge running into the fence and his big toe hurt that's what he's and reading these out right now right that's what you talking about okay how does a big 240 pound grown man six foot five or whatever just because he run into a fence and he hurt his big toe okay 100 million dollar man he's not out from he's not out for a day or so he's out for a week come on man because he stubbed his toe out there you got a little Turf because he stopped his toe man all right he didn't run into the wall that's why people like me because like come on man like for real we already got to watch a hell of game and then the Superstar is getting hurt and then even with this pitch clock and everything I'm trying to Speed the game up it's still dragging yeah yeah you're right all right I still love it though cause again I I look at it from a manager's side your appearance yeah you're a baseball I'm the third base coach out there right I'm I'm out there making signs and I'm I'm doing the strategy piece but I I hear you on that yeah judge and we talking bad about you yeah hey man so I got a question for you but now you just did that all this and so so that changes every single game be honest with you all all the little mining all the little hand signals some of them are are uh camouflaged some of them don't even mean anything the only person that needs to keep the picture because you got to see where pinch you guys throat and either you go or you go back but yeah yeah well so again and then so now there's no shift so the infielders feel it can't shift into in preparation because they know what a batter is doing so we can't do that anymore but you know it's it's all the strategy piece again as well some of that movement may be just hey pay attention to me look at me I'm over here and then there's a movement that actually starts to sign so it could be a whole bunch of just nothing he's scratching his nose and doing nothing but again that that's that's what the game is all and again it changes every single game because you don't want the other team to know what kind of signs okay you did this particular sign two games ago if he does this hand movement then it's going to be slide a lot of Astros and all of the astross right I'm out there giving throwing fake signs too you know pretending like I'm yeah I see what he's saying he telling him to run on the second Pitch telling the picture to throw a curveball you know when you know he's probably should throw a slider but that's I know but you know yeah fans do that's what fans do you got that one you got that one all the way I ain't gonna never I'm never gonna understand I'm never gonna understand don't get me wrong but like I said the College World Series that's coming up I I like the College World Series I like college softball I don't even know how I don't know how to pull the stuff just but I know teams are getting eliminated now to be able to continue with it which is cool I'm excited to see who's in it who's not use that'll be there I use cash you know on the ESPN Tuesday here it is catch a couple Innings but I think that's a big that's going to be a big thing this year I think hopefully it takes baseball to another Rim like LSU did women's basketball over the counter break some more excitement back to the game going in but like you said man football camp is about to start trade talks are talking about the NBA already so everybody's kind of already missed going past baseball yeah and we're in the middle of the Season talking about every other sport so um you know you know you know me I like I said they need to Market they need a better marketing team yeah and major major league baseball um we'll see how that all plays out because and also you know we've been spending but you know I've been spending in my daughter too right spend a little time at the indoor league right so just seeing the excitement of that game and I mean you turned me on to the indoor football league man that's that's hot folks again we we kind of partnered and working with the folks down in San Diego and they got a they got a squad out there that can run up and down the field and you know every once in a while they'll hit Montana and then meet me up for some tickets and say hey bring bring whoever you want to so y'all better ride with us indoor football gets a bad rap but it's actually it's actually pretty entertaining it is very entertaining it's experience and you kind of see what's going on I mean it's got everything football in but jammed in in a smaller in a small box right a small smaller room a small box um but I think people are finding different ways to be entertained than going to baseball now which is sad because America's past time it's kind of sad but you know majorly has nobody to bother but to blame but themselves you know they keep going with you they only want to tweak the game but they don't want to change the marketing strategy you know they just want to tweak little things in the game but they don't want to change the way they do things and how they how they want to present it to people I honestly think so they take my idea we know we got it here first Major League Baseball should take the professional games and play outside their Market in smaller markets to get a big fan base what I mean how come the Giants and the A's can't go play a game in New Mexico you know in Albuquerque New Mexico they would sell out the crowd because people would be excited just because the major league team came there and played against each other how come a major league team like well Boston and and Arizona doesn't play a game out in North Dakota just for one game or one series to sell out the stadium have people come there and get a get a brother field of the Pastime how baseball works and those areas will be very excited to have a baseball team Major League Baseball team there they need to do something to Shake It Up in my opinion so why not go to outside your markets and go play a series you know you gotta give a whole new fan base on a lot of kids a lot of people excited so don't take my ideas you know give you a finder's fee on that particular idea and I I agree with that and I think someone should do something about that and especially as others sports are coming becoming more prominent and you know back to sports being prominent back to sports needing more security more you know a lot of things that are happening around the event and around the game right as well you know if here it is the baseball season we're turning our eyes from that I'm thinking about other athletes and I'll bring this story up here about this particular fight in this particular incident oh yeah why does someone like a like a Floyd Mayweather need to be out here fighting John Gotti the third grandson of John Gotti in an exhibition and then the fight in the ring isn't even the main thing the fight that that's in the audience and in the crowd ends up being the main thing because God he got his feelings hurt because he looked like he was getting whipped by by Floyd so he got his feelings her and didn't want to listen to the uh to the referee when when he tried to come when he called the fight so folks have other options but again this right here is again something that someone needs to step in and do more I don't know put some more structure around it I I don't understand these exhibition fights anyway right why is he fighting yeah John Gotti why is he fighting Logan Paul why is he fighting did you fight Conor McGregor yep worry about that but that was a regular that was actually a fight but I mean but it's still right an MMA fighter against a traditional boxing uh athlete this this doesn't make sense man I I read so I saw an interview with Floyd when he talked about that and he said it's all about money right he's always talking about money he was just saying why should I get in the boxing ring and tarnish my official record you know and I I can make 10 million that fight where I can go to these Expedition exhibitions and fight in Dubai and fight all these people on these streamlines and I'm making 40 million okay and I'm only fighting five rounds in the polls at 12 rounds so he's like I'm just I'm I'm giving what the people want I'm I'm in demand so I'm taking advantage of it and yeah that's all good I understand I don't want to knock somebody for chasing their bag but him doing all these kind of exhibition fights it takes away from his legacy right it does take away from his legacy you're not fighting Fighters anymore you're basically sparring with guys that are out of your league when it comes why you why you why you're still in shape two how much money does Floyd Mayweather does he need I mean let's be honest I mean don't get me wrong there's never I know people in that situation there's never enough money I'm all in a situation like man you got 15 cars you could only drive one give two away to somebody that really needs them to a family and I know Floyd does do some some charity work and he does give money away but the the type of giveaway he does he'll build a boxing gym or he'll build a community center our communities don't need another boxing gym at Community Center we need more like you said before still once you build a stem facilities so we can have people go to school want you go give a whole school district computers that doesn't happen instead of me seeing you in the front row of the Lakers game you know wearing your million dollar watch Once you take that million out of watch and give that million dollars to people that are homeless and provide your big building in New York for people from homeless yes and I know he does get back man and I'm not telling them where to get back but I'm just saying at some point where's enough is enough for some people or you have to be so greedy to keep taking on 40 me if I'm a fighter 40 million if I didn't pull out a fight against it against Gotti you know what that whole 40 million dollars I'm donating to this whole school district because you know neither one of them need that right you don't need it yeah like you don't need it you just have it like you don't need it the sad part about this whole entire fight is the comments for Gotti talking about uh Mayweather's daughter and how he was coming after her and all kinds of stuff so I didn't catch that okay he made some threatening comments on Mayweather after the fight um which is kind of stupid like John like what John Gotti why are you threatening Floyd Mayweather's daughter like what does she have to do with anything wow I think these are these are now becoming more comical than becoming sporting events right it's just comedy at this point you guys are just like this is like this is like us watching uh reality boxing well who wants to watch reality like okay okay you know she gonna buy her or whatever yeah that you know it wasn't it was a show The Jerry Springer Show or something like that yeah yeah come on it gets tiring after after twice it takes away from the sport of boxing yeah like you're taking away from the sport of boxing because there was a great fight this weekend uh in New York tomato he won the championship he won the belt back I forgot his name uh uh Spanish guy he won the title back he lost it he came back he fought an undefeated Champion that was there he beat he won the fight like that was a great event they put on on ESPN and a great boxing match but it's overshadowed by Floyd and his Antics so the sport they gave him so much he's taken away from him by doing all this buffoonery and fighting all these reality stars or whatnot it doesn't make any sense at all at all yeah and the other other boxing thing that was decent or MMA you know Nunez and she went out yeah yeah got both of the uh belts and then right there on the spot retired so I thought that was pretty pretty cool uh career so I mean that see that that's that's what we want to see we want to see the Gladiator I mean have all your opinions if you want about boxing and should two people be in there knocking themselves out but then again that professional athlete's doing that thing and doing it the right way we Gotti and the Mayweather acting the fool and the referee having to stop the fight because uh see after warning both Fighters were using abusive language referee Kenny Bayless stopped the fight in the sixth round Gotti wasn't hearing it and Gotti said listen I'm gonna continue to throw these blows and then next thing you know the whole the whole building doesn't need drugs uh we don't want to see that that that's TMZ stuff and again I'm talking to [ __ ] that's beneath TMZ man that's like that Love and Hip-Hop BS stuff that interest perpetuates ignorance about the sport man like a family like he's making a buffoonery out of it like boxing boxing they gave you some much it made you so famous and gave you so much money and did so much for you you're gonna go ahead and do these kind of antics and then take away from the sport by fighting reality TV stars and all that stuff yeah it was intriguing the first time he did it because no one ever seen it before yes now that we saw it and we see how stupid it is he continues to do it because they want to pay him a bag I think there's certain things in this lifetime are not worth money right you don't want to sell your integrity for money you don't want to sell sell what you what you perfect yourself is money and I know everybody has a price and everybody wants to do something for price but I mean he's already achieved that price and then so like Florida just made them their billion dollars in his lifetime he doesn't need he doesn't need the money but I do believe when we talked about several episodes ago people are addicted to attention attention um come on so he likes to do these things because he's still in the Limelight and he has attention at TMT that The Money Team man they they yeah I still want attention I still want to be I still want people to think of me as money Floyd bro you you in your 40s it's time you know it's cool right off until the sunset and do your thing your record speaks for itself we we know what you are you are one of the time you are one if you're not aggressive yeah but if you keep doing this kind of stuff man uh why why all we gonna remember is you and Logan Paul and you and John Gotti the third right yeah I remember nothing about anything else right right yeah you're right so I think he's one of the I think he's he's got some attention issues that he needs to deal with and not being you know and kind of do his thing but I mean beyond that man I mean well I wish him the best I just wish he would do more with it like I said if yeah figure out a different avenue man like I said if you're gonna make 40 million dollars like Uncle Sam take that 20 and put that other 20 towards something that's really going to build your legacy because at the end of the day when it's all said and done what's more important you having a 20 million dollar car and a watch or you're able in the situation to educate 20 000 young people you're in a situation that send 20 000 more kids to school because I know he's in some kinds of college send 20 000 more yeah pay for their tuition as well all of it in the day is the tax write-off to you that's true why not do more for you why not do more for your people besides do the funerals great boxer but but you're diminishing your legacy whether you want to believe it or not brother you diminishing your your legacy and if you want to continue to do this stuff that's fine but I'm just saying do more everybody said I'll do enough no do more you got more do more I'm putting that on t-shirt yeah I'm gonna put that on our on our next t-shirt man that's that's good stuff Brother tickets home man that's that's good stuff we we we we didn't we didn't have too much too much negativity we had some things but uh so we we're gonna try to end on some of that positivity right there do do more do more do more yeah yeah definitely uh please everyone out there get comfortable having uncomfortable conversations and make that phone call to your family members and your friends to make sure
