NRL Round 26 Results 2024 🏉

Intro what's going on guys snaggy here and it's time to review round 26 of the 2024 NRL season if you watch the preview video I said I think we know what's going to happen this weekend but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a few crazy things go down I and I I didn't think anything this crazy would go down what a crazy crazy weekend lot of unexpected results crazy injuries crazy score lines well I don't know rugby leag man it's the greatest game of all I'm telling you I'm telling you it's quite funny I see a lot of people I see a lot of people in the chat and the um in in um just on Tik Tok comments and stuff like that like oh I can't pick a winner it's I get it like it's nice to win all the time but it's it's good it's it's good when it's hard we want a challenge I want to challenge on the punt Lads I don't want it just like if if it's otherwise it just ends up everything's a105 and you don't make win any money it's supposed to be hard and the skilled ones they end up winning talking about the punt guys let us know how you went let us know if you had any big wins we actually had a pretty poo one on the double Ups three from eight but we had a pretty nice Tri score which put us slightly up and when I say slightly I mean slightly like barely up but not too bad um considering how nuts the weekend was seriously I'm pretty surprised uh this is one of those weekends where the old account could have got drained guys so um yeah we'll have to wait and see I was I looked and I was like oh we actually slightly up and I went through my uh my history and I was like oh that's right that Tri score at the start of the weekend carried us through all right we're not too bad all right guys so let's go over all the results we'll have a look at the ladder we'll talk about finals implications and go over the games now obviously like I sort of said we will um focus a little bit more on the relevant teams obviously we're not going to talk a whole heap about the non-relevant teams in this one guys but a lot of teams are relevant a lot of teams are relevant right guys Cowboys get it done Against The bgrade Storm but well they were good Bulldogs sorry I was about to say defeat the seagull I'm used to the Bulldogs winning so much seagull defeat the Bulldogs 3422 Panthers get it done against the rabido 34-2 heel scrape home against I can't wait to talk about this one scrape own against the dragons 44 to 40 Dolphins defeat the Broncos knock win the Battle of Brisbane the redcliff Dolphins now the Brisbane Broncos 40-6 I forgot about this Shawn Johnson final game well yeah Warriors defeat the Sharkies 30 to 28 Knights beat the Titans 36 to4 and the Raiders how good with the milk seriously how it could with the milk can't wait to talk about that one too right guys let's have a quick look at the ladder all right so so crazy thing so Ladder & Finals Hopes first second third they were second and third and fifth all lost so it's only the Panthers in the top five that one um so roosters and sharks go down Bulldogs hold their spot Cowboys hold their spot SE Eagles hold their spot but there could be some movement next week cuz a lot of these teams are playing each other well these teams are playing each other um well sorry all these teams are playing each other fourth to seventh right so yeah fourth to seventh all played each other and they're all separated by a game and a half nuts man absolutely nuts and then we have the Dolphins and the Knights into e and n and they play each other how good is round 27 going to be man why are they still taking that's a bit dodgy of sports bet why they still taking money on I guess the dragons technically still can make it right Broncos can't make it though why are they taking money on that you know what I mean imagine him putting surely you're not dumb enough to uh pick that one but anyway all right so uh absolutely wild let's let's have a quick look at the ladder predictor real quick guys and just let's see what the finals was possibly going to look like all right so we're got to reset all uh so we're up to let's go to round 27 who we thinking Lads Broncos all the storms I think the storms get it pretty handily spoonball lads spoonball I do think the E win I actually think they're playing pretty good footy I know they fell off a bit at the end of that Dragons game but I think they do win it um roosters versus the rabido a lot of players down for the roosters but I think the roosters get that one dragons versus Raiders I'm loving what the Raiders are doing up the Raiders doggies cares now this depends if Burton's playing whether who I actually pick so yeah obviously you're still going to have to watch my tip video on uh on Wednesday morning guys these aren't my tips for next week I'm just sort of throwing them but I personally think the doggies have been the better team um especially lately I I was sort of half riding the Cowboys bandwagon there but as we'll get to in a minute I'm pretty disappointed with them last week pen get it done no trovich so I mean I probably would have tipped the seagull but I think maybe shakies might get this one and then uh let's go Fins Up let's have a look let's have a look at the first run of finals was going to look like if that if that plays out all right so we'll have storm vers the Sharkies then we'll have doggies verse the fins so the winner of this go will automatically go here and then the winner of this will go here I believe yeah then we'll have Cowboys vers the Cowboys vers the sea eagles and then Panthers at home that's big against the roosters with no Sam Walker I don't know if that's what how it's going to going to go down guys but it's that there's a very good chance this is what our finals is looking like guys very very good chance I wonder if it's going to I'm going to check that when we uh I'm going to check that when we uh you know when it actually goes down we'll see if we actually hit all right Cowboys versus Storm now a bgrade storm team rolled out and it was Era City at Cowboys Vs Storm the start first half 17 errors 28 Miss tackle to four um just it it was just disgusting this first half it was Cowboys had done took this to me at least twice this year maybe three times where they've won a game and I've thought less of them it's um not good uh I don't know it was it was bizarre to mean they came out and was slapping I was all here we go and then storm but did we just underestimate storm depth like storm have some depth I mean like a lot of these guys were in storm starting team last year you know like you know like SE and ton Mia and stuff like that they're all in there this dude is a beast Lazarus just added a zero to his uh not a zero you can't add a zero to your paycheck can you cuz everyone's on over 150 you used to be able to say he added a zero to his paycheck cuz if you were on a men used to be on about 30 to 50 whatever it was depending at the time and uh if you start to kill it you obviously you add a zero to your paycheck there you know so um I just thought that were awesome I thought Welsh was played pretty solid he came after everyone physically I'm loving McDonald he was awesome and that they really took it to the Cowboys who were are they full strength pretty damn close pretty damn close uh I was riding Clifford's nuts pretty hard um I wasn't overly impressed with him but like look you're a low a bad game but yeah it was I've sort of written in my notes right like you can leak points and still like you can like storm roosters penth they've all won games where they've like leaked roughly 20 odd points and you don't think like it's I don't know it just looks wrong when the Cowboys do it it just doesn't look right like it just look they looked bad and you know they just sort of scored enough to win it wasn't so much like storm have had a few games this year where they've won 30 8 to 28 but you just like they never looked in doubt and you know obviously they want that score to be low on Melvin storm they wouldn't be like sitting there going oh how easy how good was this you know like they would you know they want a clean sheet just like everyone but it just looks all right whereas when Cowboys have done it it hasn't looked right to me just that that performance was a Cowboys getting bounced first round uh it really is I mean they're playing the doggies next week doggies were ear spectacular obviously but uh yeah I'll be more than likely unless doggies are missing a bunch of players or something be tipping the the doggies in that one I mean C's got them about a month or month and a half ago maybe two Max at home in a close one but cows haven't been spectacular away from home um where is there away record I stand corrected their away records great seven and four I was thinking of the 2023 Cowboys H so actually not too bad jeez that's pretty good away record uh but yeah they got to be substantially better um yeah dog doggies are going to come in for and uh so yeah they're got to be a lot better um just quietly um penous went off I don't believe them that it was a cork there looked like there was barely any contact there but I guess you have to take the word for it uh Monster look in sharp again and I think tyan Wishard is Head and Shoulders the most improved player I think I've ever seen like he is he is talk about adding some some extra to his paycheck I think he's allowed to negotiate from November 1 a lot of chat where he could end up um do you stay in this sort of 14 mix to fix it role or do you go get yourself a team do you go get yourself where you're going to be the six you're going to be the seven whatever you're going to be the lock you're going to be the man it's going to be really interesting it's going to be really interesting uh I I I I personally think he should go somewhere else like if I'm just looking at just like putting myself in wish out shoes I think players that are that Mr fixer role we think of guys like orison I know gley did a bit at um at origin and I can just I'm thinking of a few players U more recently in the from he's at the Warriors now niur that one is actually um I feel like you sort of stunt your career CU you're a bit all over the place and like I I think your team appreciates how good you are but I don't think anyone else really does and I think you've sort of stunt your growth as a player um as as going on to be able to earn that big paycheck personally um I think it can it can help you and hurt you uh um in the to get into you know the origin Arena or rep Arena every team does need a good 14 but yeah I don't know it's an interesting one but I'd be looking for other pastures I think I don't know if penth have any money left but if I think he would slot into penth so good like a hard running like six that just slaps in defense yeah I know it's the problem is Melbourne to have just maxed their salary cap out like from what I've heard Sal Melbourne salary cap they they absolutely pushed it to the brim just to get Stefano so I don't know if there's going to be any money left um especially with B still they weren't able to unload big Nelson so we'll have to wait and see but yeah we'll have a quick look at this team actually look it it's not really worth looking at just because I guess it wasn't against an a grade team but look at these errors 15 to 13 like yeah this is yeah Cowboys I'm not I'm not I'm not saying you're going to get bounced in first round but if you do not play double as good you're getting bounced in the first round seriously that's uh that was pretty damn terrible all right doggies vers the Bulldogs Vs Sea Eagles manly seagull look I've been saying this to all the doggies fans everyone thinks I've been hating on the doggies but it's it's actually pretty hilarious so uh you know people think well because I'll be like I tip against the Bulldogs here and there that I hate them it was funny and I said in my preview video and on Tik Tok and on YouTube shorts you know that du a lost du a lost and everyone's like you're just a hater you're just a hater I can't wait to watch you apologize and talk about how good the doggies are after it and then after the game all the doggies it's doing videos going we were you a lot we needed this loss before the fin I'm like that's what I was saying before the game I just had the plums to say it before the game Lads um so yeah look doggies I I don't think any less of them I definitely like if doggies won this I probably would have thought more of them but I definitely don't think any less of them I still think they're the exact same team they were this weekend um but yeah like obviously a win would have been nicer because you go look they beat a red hot Manley team but um not red hot but a you know very good Manley team um with like to me Manley are easily a top four roster if if like if they won a few extra games and didn't drop a few silly games throughout the year that I think they'd be sitting where konala is you know they're that good um so I don't think overly I'm not overly concerned about the SE Eagles now I said in my preview video I don't think I could have called a game any more perfect if you want to go back and watch the tape I said I just loved the changes they made so essentially what I said was um so what they ended up doing which was even better they had actually had Dylan Nathan Brown in the starting time but I said you had to bring out I said Lodge all simply ended up bringing Lodge in I said slap through the middle you got to drop Chen Kong I think that's how you say his name and play kroer for big minutes cuz he you don't lose anything through the middle there and you have to play through the middle and play P light pain har give him lots of carries lots of touches big intensity go to you know like play that big power game and then you know and then they come off and you still have to have some speed and size coming off the bench so so you keep that W of going cuz Manley would get on top here and it would just all sort of disappear and then it would sort of could come back later in the game when p and all those guys come on and then kroer comes back on but you can't play good for 40 minutes or thir you know 30 minutes and then expect to win a game or expect because this is the thing right once you lose momentum it can be like rugby it can be impossible to get back like it's not basketball where you go time out and you can just have a little chill for a minute and you you work everything out and The Game Stops and you start from a set start again like it's right it goes you know you're on once the whistle starts go it goes if you if you lose momentum through whatever it's very hard to get it back so um I love this I love this um that's one of the reasons I think penth have been so successful over the years like they really focus on making sure the bench was good I remember for a long time you know it didn't matter if starters got injured like senson and speno started on the bench that would actually bring someone from Reserve grade A lot of the times not always Reserve grade into the starting team and leave their bench the same shows you how important your bench is it really does um but yeah it was it was a big power game now I just want to talk um a bit about Manley then we'll get to the doggies peka had one of his craziest games ever I mean he he put up I've honestly said this dude could literally be pay har it's just I feel like Manley can play a little too sideways to me it's just like give well Lodge EMP just C they're big they're strong they're powerful and they have lightning quick lightning quick play the balls for their size doggies could not handle it and he he well let's check let's check if he put up pay har numbers he wouldn't have quite done his minutes so I'm sure they're a little bit lower but let's have let's have a little look see what per did where are you P 178 m in less minutes so he played less minutes than Payne hwood off so PNE normally pays about 65 to get close to 200 uh PCA paid 50 so this is paying har numbers 855 post contact with seven 17 carries so every single carry was over 10 met oh barely but you know every carry was 10 m 85 post contract Dragon dudes um look at that play the ball 2.5 seconds that 2.75 seconds that is so quick um and Tackle efficiency 26 tackles no misses just one ineffective tackle he he's gone you got to go to him got to use him I feel like manly try to hit their edges a little bit too early sometimes play through the middle first earn the right and then like like you have a really good front rower there and you showed like he he like not dissing the doggies but he made that whole four pack look like he was so much better than every single player on the doggies in the middle and then that and then um Matt Lodge was you know probably second but quite you know he had a really good game but it was the P show he was just about UNH handable um he was absolutely incredible um so obviously turbo goes down in this one it's looking like just an AC so hoping it is um praying it is let's get some stem cells in that boy um now just doggies look like I said I'm not concerned I still think they're exactly the same team I think they're sitting exactly on the ladder where they should be and um yeah I'm not overly worried like I said I think they beat a lot of the team sixth down and um they're playing a team in six so um what was a little concerning they did leak 3 like I said this last year the blueprint to beat the doggies was knock the front door run run run at Reed man make him do a lot of work um and you know they're not big um they're fast but if you if you start to control if you start to Get You On Top of the Rock they are they you know they start to line tackles they start jumped the gun a little bit and they can't give penalty so what was a little concerning they got it's not so much they leak 34 points it's a little alarming but it happens like I said I'm not going to be like oh man the defense sucks I leaked 34 points yeah bro like for the second time this year like they it was they got skinned everywhere like they literally got skinned everywhere they got pumped through the middle they got skinned on their right skinned on the left skinned through the middle like when I say skinned I mean like they they scored tries left they went right scored a try next time just next time they shifted the ball left scored a try then they ran like I think it was an outside inside to laon and just scored straight through skinned skinned skinned I was like damn that was easy and it wasn't like you know sometimes teams might have you might have they might have identified a little thing when you get skinned everywhere in the first half that's I was like o um yeah so a little a little alarm Bells you know so um you know you you rather just have you'd rather get skinned in one spot and go right we know we we we've got to fix that when you like you get skinned everywhere yeah oh that's not good uh so yeah little little bit to work on for doggy Sero was not happy in his presser uh but yeah we let's let's have a little look really interest see the odds let's see if the odds are up yet for see if I can bring my dabble up if it's not up um so we have Bulldogs verse Bulldogs are favorites Bulldogs are still favorites that's about right for me not overwhelming favorites but yeah that's that looks about right to me all right so doggies oh where is that game actually is it Belmore a uh but yeah like a lot to work on now unfortunately it looks like Burton might I heard Burton might be out for this one um let's have a little look casualty Ward we'll see if it's been announced yet so Steven kon's back Matt Burton head knock doesn't so yeah we're not too sure there yet but hopefully he's back for that one uh as soon as he was off I was like yeah he's not a they need his long kicking game to win games if Burton's out of this one I might have to take the Cowboys even if kryon back it's just there's multiple sets where when Bulldogs make about 25 M and burn his boots at 7 completely nullifies the bad set and um whoever comes in won't have that kicking game unfortunately but shout to the SE Eagles and doggies don't stretch you'll be fine Panthers versus the Panthers Vs Bunnies rabitos now this guy wasn't like first of all no let's let's talk about this first first tyone Monroe it was everyone was going oh he could have had three tries no bro two was perfect one for his mom one for his uncle one for humdinger um it was actually pretty crazy we were streaming this game was I streaming it or was I just on anyway someone said oh apparent so in we we didn't put the two things together like they go oh you know he's he's old lady passed a couple days ago whatever and we're like man sucks and then um someone goes in the chat oh doesn't um isn't he Humdinger nephew or isn't Humdinger his uncle and I'm like no way is he and then a few people in chat like yeah yeah he is and I was like well and then like not long after they go um you know his uncle passed away this morning as well and I did he didn't click at the time and then I went on Tik Tok after I saw that Humdinger past as well I was like what the hell man two tries one for Humdinger one for his mom how good he was uh what a what an absolute Soldier man he was he was he was great he was absolutely great man he's um he regardless of gu I'm not now okay so I was just not just being nice I was being you know just talking about his character and what a legend he is but straight up before I'd sort of you know he looked like he looks like a genuine possible future Superstar he looks really good he gets fit and healthy this offseason keeps his life on track all that sort of stuff he looks he's got speed he's got the build just add maybe five to eight kegs to that frame he looks really nice see Sydney could have one there seriously they really could um yeah so um yeah I guess the question was a lot of people had here like are the Panthers back with the roosters dropping that ball there a little bit I feel a lot just not that they're my team but I feel a lot better about Panthers now than I did at the start of the weekend are they back I wouldn't quite call that um they did what they're supposed to do they coming they like equal second but let's you know say top four team playing a team that's coming like 14th and they beat him 13 plus like without absolutely ripping their heads off it's what they're supposed to do so I feel a lot better about it though cu the roosters and the shark slot so they've got it looks like they got a home final now finish in second big Advantage um also Sunny Tera back Lor is just not a Winger I think Lor's better player than Tera but to me he's a I missed a fix at four he's a [Music] um six or a one I personally think his best position is 14 I think he comes in and can fix any position um and also alamot is really good I don't know why but one of my most asked questions over the last month is who's better Alam mty or Casey McLean I think Casey McLean's going to be better I think Casey McLean's an next Critter but today pull out of Mod's better much better play solid fast I couldn't believe how fast he was cuz he doesn't he looks like a front rower his top speed is fifth he's been the fifth highest in the NRL he's nuts uh I love I love this Liam Henry and Fisher Harris starting with Mitch Kenny um and then Moses Le on the bench he's just you know like Liam Henry is not a Moses Leota but they need a an isaah not Isaiah yo they need a a Spencer new replacement on the bench and they got one you know so um and man this lindsy Smith dude I watched him last year in a few games and he was getting didn't look like he could handle the how old is he he like he would get he would get slapped he he would slap like in defense but when he had to come off The Back Fence he would get slapped but he um he's 24 so yeah most cuz he's you know some of some of the what you know you your Aussie props take you know you're not fully grown until you're about 24 you know so yeah he looks uh he looks real nice he looks real nice um some of those Islander boys are fully developed at 17 you know what I'm saying uh yeah look so I feel so if you're a Panthers fan like you should feel so much more comfortable with possibly getting the chip um May the fourth be with you um and uh obviously clear come back um as well Dylan edwood's looked a little down to me um but yeah it's to me just seriously if that if to me for Panthers to be out and out odds on favorites to win the comp clearly has to be there and fit not 100% but better than 80% he want a grand single- handly won a grand final last year with a torn MCL and snapped finger so doesn't need to be 100% but he needs to be uh needs to be better now couple reports on this one I believe but we'll see how they all pan out and uh bunnies let's just uh toss that one they uh get ready for next year Lads eels dragons I could not believe this one so I had neither team to 40 on my Punt and um I knew both teams could score 40 but what how I thought this game would actually go was I thought they would both score heaps of points but I Eels Vs Dragons honestly just thought like it wouldn't be like all P so the reason why it blew out this hard is normally what happens is like let's just use eels and drag e eels will score a few tries or two tries and then dragons will score one or two and it's sort of Cs but e just went and the dragons just went that's when the scores blow out it's usually when the teams going big runs like that we have these crazy high score lines if it's G try for try or like two tries two tries one try two tries two tries one you know what I mean it usually ceas like it just you just what I don't know why but for whatever reason the score doesn't seem to be as high but e would just scoring just about every time they had the ball and then it just flipped and then it was just like look at this one two three four five tries from the 70th minute that is nuts absolutely nuts I had nether team to 40 they both scored 40 I should lose money like extra money for [Laughter] [Music] that um dragons were just just so bad in that first half like I was just sitting there like if you are a dragons fan like I I've been riding you this year I've been super stoked with how you do but obviously sitly this this team doesn't deserve to play finals this last month of footy I know they beat minus the Melbourne game I was just sitting there watching them play footy and there was we had um we had dragons fans in the Discord chat and even there gone bro this is it's so hard to be a fan of this team it was just sometimes teams lose but you're like oh man you know like you don't really like when when like Couch Potato fans like me can sit there and clearly see what you're doing wrong like stylistically or you know like strategically or whatever like you you got issues you know like like just for example like Ben hun like bro was awful like bro was just Le rarl was just not NRL stand like see R I do not think you'll playing NRL ever again unfortunately you'll be off to the Super League Ben Hunt for the first half at least didn't I not did not look NRL standard like he was I just couldn't believe the decisions they made like they made who was that who made that break Sloan yeah that's right Sloan makes a break I think it's Zack Zack LX steaming up on your outside like did dragons did dragons players watch Zack L play state of origin like you know who's outside you right that's Zack LX bro's like like like Sloan looks inside looks outside sees Zack LX with his arm out looks in looks back out he's still like still what like they're both running and then obviously the fullback comes I remember if he passed or got tackled but whatever anyway doesn't you know I think he passed and then got tackled whatever correct me if I'm wrong there guys maybe he just got taken by the fullback Zack LX and so then obviously the ball gets played Zack Lomax and the Winger are still wide open and they pass left like there was no one on that side then they take get tackled then I believe there's there's still a five on three on that side and they go left again what like what like it was I was sitting going oh my God cuz I wanted dragons to school cuz I would have you know like I said did that thing where they when te the teams are both scoring you want the momentum to flow away but it was it was just I remember just there was three or four dragons fans in the chat is going man this is just hard to I cannot how did you not you had three full opportunities all you have to do was just pass the ball right to Zack Lomax on any one of those tackles and you score a try you pass left to to frustrating man um yeah look crazy game obviously we're not going to harp on about it too much um e was just like I think Trent Barrett said this in the uh in the preview and he's not wrong he said if the game was 60 Minutes long we' probably have the Mind Premier ship and look at this look at this it's true man like they're pretty good for 60 uh obviously they were far enough ahead this game that they didn't get run down um but yeah like I said we we're watching this and again in the in the Discord chat we're like man I'm want Chuck Mitchell MOS is back you know we got Zack LX coming and if when the new coach comes in if he BRS you know that a bit of that Melbourne into the eels if if the odds are good enough might take him for the eight because they've played some pretty good footy this year man and dags just with that extra he he can go missing sometimes when Mo Moses is there I think I know it's obviously not great for the eels but for next year just thinking about next year only obviously you want your team to go good every year just a lot more I you wouldn't call it miles in the legs but a lot more like being the man experience um you know cuz a lot of the times when the eels lose games it's like if if Mitchell Moses is just off you know like at least deal bags can sort of stand up but anyway um yeah shout out to the eels it was a highly entertaining game and dragons like I said good luck next year buy I'm off you this year I love you but I'm off you uh but yeah the red Ville will be back we streamed this one it was Dolphins Vs Broncos uh yeah just I've written down biggest win in their history surely not they put 40 on teams haven't they they put 30 34 on a team uh from the first Carry when they slapped pay house I was like dragons are hit but dolphins are here to play this to me I wanted I wanted Broncos to make the finals just CU I thought it'd be a better game like I thought they would sneak in and play the Bulldogs I was like that'd be better Bulldogs had handled the dragons and the Dolphins pretty handly this year I'd much rather a more competitive Finals game um but I'm really happy if the fins do get in they're going to have to play the Newcastle Knights next week to get in but I'm really happy if they do so I'm not mad at this at all um what's not like I was wanted the Broncos to win for any other reason then I thought it'd be a better game than the other possible results and um but that just great but like just to me this boiled down to an absolute Master Class an absolute out coaching like Bennett this the thing right Wayne Bennett it's not like he has the best coaching record or anything like that but the amount of times he's done this to another coach where he's just you know it's a big game there's a bit of like he did it to Ivan clear like absolutely took him to coaching school one day he absolutely weighed everything up made those those adjustments and additions and just made Kevy look like he didn't know what he was doing pretty damn incredible man he's he he can coach a team and he got him up for this one and it was great now we sort of said um this is a thing too we were streaming so I didn't really notice these changes until they run out and one of the Bros goes avillo and at six is wild I'm like what do you mean avillo at 6 worked bro it worked bro it was it was wild I I couldn't believe it just I cannot believe how good this worked absolutely nuts man and then raystone back to the bench and he just he started so it was it was absolute Master Class man you need your photo here Kev because you won this game I mean the boys won it but yeah it was absolutely incredible man um I thought tpj I mean he was even ripping the Broncos doing the doing the dance and all that but yeah it was pay har I don't know man I think he needs an off season I'm a little worried about paying har man like he's still been really good this year but just um just just seeing the decline of Jason talolo before our eyes right like if anyone hasn't seen if you're young maybe you're 18 19 17 whatever and you haven't seen Prime Jason Tom malolo I know a lot of people say pay har is one of the best I think that Jason I know he plays lock but back in that era not that it's not that long ago locks pretty much played as front rollers they were just that essentially a third more ball you know what I mean but sometimes you just want your best players to get good ball they don't need a lot of ball just they need good ball I think Hammer gets better good ball cuz who's stop it we've seen it at origin we've seen the best defenders in the world we' seen him at Australia who who stops Hammer one-on-one whereas when you're in the middle playing like that you quite often you know you got you're getting tackled by three blocks you're taking hit UPS into into a set line with TR and I I've said this personally a lot of people like oh what so you don't think Kalin ponger and REE Walsh are good fullbacks no no no no no it's not what I was saying what I the point I was making was I like the high energy High work rate fullbacks that can ball play a little bit um like to me I personally think let's I think turbo when he's absolute at full full full strength and fit and healthy I think he's the best fullback in the comp because he gives you the work rate plus good ball playing plus the effort areas plus he's just plus the backup play like the teddy backup like how many times have we just seen someone make a half break and who's there who's always there turbo like I I've never really called turbo the best fullback in the world because he's never really strong enough games together for me to call that but like just if you like just got all all his like his last five years and like compacted that into like two and a half seasons and pretend he didn't miss all that time like I almost think he is the best fullback he's just got everything he he can slap you 200 Meers of effort you can give you just all those effort plays backing up but he he'll also fire a cut out ball and hit a Winger uh that's it's just that stuff more comes second um but anyway back to this um I I I'd prefer the effort over the ball like like an effort guy that can ball play a little bit like turbo yeah and then have your good guys getting good quality ball um sort of thing you just have to obviously make sure like Cambra have a trouble with you got this weapon in tomoco that doesn't get any ball so it's just it's just find that bad that balance but they looked really nice with Fuller there and Hammer in the centers we're not as soon as I saw he was in the centers I was like bro this he's going to try tonight he's going to try tonight so yeah shout out to the the shout out this just became a two- horse race I'm I still think they're a top four team without those two guys like I'd look at that roster still and I see them beating every team fifth down whenever they feel like it most times enough times to make them in the top four but to win a grand final what do you have to do finish in the top four which they have tick beat three top four teams in a row can they do that with this roster don't think so man probably going to have to knock off penth and Melbourne Storm from third don't I don't think so I don't think it goes down unfortunately um yeah just I just don't think it goes I think they've unfortunately I still think they probably make a semi but I I just don't see him playing foral I I don't see him winning the comp from here um cheese just offers so
