Sven Goran Eriksson's daughter's tragic fears for dad days before he died

Sven Goran Erikson's daughter revealed he dad was deteriorating days before he died on Monday the former England manager's family released a statement confirming sven's death his family said Sven Goran Erikson has passed away after a long illness SG died during the morning at home surrounded by family in January Sven revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer and had at best a year to live in a heartbreaking admission his daughter Lena admitted last week that her dad was deteriorating Sven was too ill to fly to London to promote his documentary for Amazon Prime video which was released on Friday his daughter was present instead and she said on stage in London that her father is deteriorating quite quickly in the film Sven gave a final heartbreaking message to former players coaches and supporters are speaking about his life in the documentary he said I had a good life I think we are all scared of the day when we die but life is about death as well you have to learn to accept it for what it is hopefully at the end people will say yeah he was a good man but everyone will not say that I hope you will remember me as a positive guy trying to do everything he could do don't be sorry smile thank you for everything coaches players the crowds it's been fantastic take care of yourself and take care of your life and live it speaking to the mirror sven's close friend and lawyer Anders runbo revealed last week that Sven could no longer walk around the lake that he loves he said I've seen Sven and how do I feel I feel sad but I am happy to have known Sven and know that I can still see him this is my reaction he is such a tremendous person he added Lake fren is beautiful it is 90 km long from south to North and it is a beautiful landscape you can see that in the pictures you can definitely fish in that Lake too but sadly his condition does not allow Sven to do that anymore it is a hard time for him Sven managed 12 clubs including Manchester City Leicester Roma and Lazio winning 18 trophies he was the first non-british manager of the England team and led the Three Lions to the quarterfinals at three major tournaments during his 5year spell in charge between 2001 and 2006
