hello everybody this is David Lawson and I am your host for this for the deck show ACC football Saturday as you know our football team wake for demon Diggin uh took ter of business Thursday when they defeated North Carolina entt 45 to 13 so we got that game out of the way so we're going to look forward to next week and we'll talk about that on another uh on another episode so uh this is the D show we're going to talk about AC Football Saturday a lot of games on I'll talk to you about uh uh Friday's games but Duke Elon TCU Stanford Stanford the new addition to the ACC along with uh Cal and SMU they also played SMU played Thursday uh defeating Nevada 29 think it's 29 20 4 29 24 that was the week that was a week ago in week zero when Florida State lost to Georgia Tech 24-21 on the last second field goal but now we talking about this week where North Carolina escaped from Western Carolina 38 to 21 as I told you Wake Forest take care of business against NC NCA andt 4513 and North Carolina came back and beat the Minnesota Gophers 19- 17 a mfield go by Minnesota uh kept uh the score it's 19- 17 so now uh Friday August the 30th Elon at Duke Duke defeated Elon 26-3 they had a strong defense kind of struggled on the offense only scoring 26 points we'll see how they do against Northwestern I'll be picking those next week you'll see my picks for that game uh coming up on on another edition of the speaking Deacon show this is the de show with the uh ACC football Saturday so uh and also yesterday TC took on one of our ACC teams Stanford that was a late late late game out over there in Stanford California but TCU uh pulled it out over Stanford 34 to 27 so today's games we come to today's games which is Clemson will be at Georgia this is a high noon game on ABC as you know I'm picking George if you've seen my pick if you haven't I am picking Georgia to beat Clemson and then we have Virginia Tech Vander belt that's is also at 12:00 that'll be on ESPN and I'm also picking Virginia taking that one then we got the Austin P at Louisville that's a 12:00 game on accn I'm also picking Louisville to beat off the p and then we have Kent State at Pittsburgh that's the games at 12:00 on ESPN these are all uh noon games I'm picking pit over Kent State then we got some more big games Miami at Florida 3:30 on ABC that'll come on right after the Clemson en geoy the game I'm picking Miami Miami to win this game over Florida then we got Ohio at Syracuse at 3:30 on the ACC Network I'm picking Syracuse to win this one you see Davis at California at 5 o'clock on the ACC Network extra I'm picking Cal on that one Richmond at Virginia this is Virginia's first game just will be six o'clock on the ACC Network extra I'm picking Virginia on that one then we got Georgia State at Georgia Tech first meeting between these two they only live about two miles up the road from each other so this is an 8:00 game ACC Network Georgia Tech I'm picking I'm picking then Houston Christian at SMU at 8:00 on the ACC Network extra piing SMU coming up Monday coming up Monday Labor Day Labor Day this is Labor Day weekend but Labor Day Boston College at Florida State 7:30 on SPN this coming Monday be sure to watch that one I'm picking the Florida state to beat Boston College but who knows I picked them against Georgia de too but that one Boston College took him to the wire last year I think it was like 31 to 29 but uh that was a close game and and uh we could have a similar game also uh coming up Monday so those are my picks uh those are my and and that's the uh ACC football Saturday and I just wanted to come on pop on pop off on the recording and let you know the games today we sure to watch them have fun hope your team wins and let's just get on with the football season there's not a whole lot to talk about but let's go man you know I can talk about the quarterbacks I can talk about the running backs I can talk about all of the above and below and all that stuff and uh but that's that's that's not going to tell you a whole lot about what you really want to know and so I I believe that what you really want to know is do I think and who who and who do I think and what and is is this team going to win is it going to be Clemson Georgia Virginia Tech of vanderbelt Austin P Louisville Kent State Pittsburgh Miami or Florida your Ohio Syracuse UC Davis or California richond or Virginia Georgia State or Georgia Tech Houston Christian ormu or is it going to be Boston College ask me which one of these teams are going to win win today and U I've already told you my picks so are you seeing this recording ahead of time so we got about an hour and 15 minutes from this recording I don't know when you'll see this but you go back and look at it see it whether I'm right or not if you look at the background uh didn't have a chance to change that and put SMU Stanford and C so I apologize all you three new teams I try to get that corrected I'm not
