Houston Dash uh it's match day three in the summer cup so um we're going to get started pretty soon Theos are also playing Kansas City so hopefully the do well uh both my teams are in the group but but in better news we know the opponents for the next round of the quarterfinal officially USA will take on Japan uh Spain and Colombia France and Brazil and Germany and Canada so we'll see how those games end up turning out for us you know what I'm saying okay uh Houston's lineup is another change and um I'm qu I'm I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out on the field in general uh because it's a light of iin never seen before uh you know what I mean so let me get uh this all going for you and we get it Popp ladies are walking out of the Tel [Music] two and when I was in the when I was in when I was in the at the baate to see which team I wanted to watch or Houston um it was a pretty easy choice I always wanted to come back I always wanted to come back to Houston question no not here not today I had to choose the dash I had to it sucks that both of them played at the same time but I ch to that because you know with I kind of already you know like I need to see something little different I need Houston be I'm just like okay is this good enough are you able to do this again to to us so with the different lineup I don't even know what they're going to do it's a totally different football team it's a we have a new coach apparently and um he has changing the game so they doing the national y see or whatever so yeah Hines I didn't even know hin got her first start last match for Houston against T out and they were you know people really really happy for Houston but so we're going to play a back three with Harris Jacobs and Peterson and then the way they be talking about Peterson not Peterson Jacobs be blowing my mind I'm like okay I guess she is that girl currently in leading the way Avery Patterson once again in the starting lineup she's playing minutes The Rook definitely my of the year um Diana got on the score sheet last time it's good to see it was our first Touch Too L like it was a look like her first opportunity on goal she ended up doing well anyway Sophie of course is in the middle Barbara gets her start back I I like to see Barbara play She's she's cool she's she's energy one on the field in my opinion and she's still young so you you kind of you're not too sure what she might bring out you know you're not too sure what you might see she hasn't been playing for you know a long long time Wes another rookie scored a lots of goals in college she's she's scol for Houston already so she's playing higher up the [Music] pitch and then I'm dressa well she's like OG of course I think Ricky puts her in because she just she kind of just she her archetype U makes she's an archetype that um allows the team to control control the uh the pace of the tempo of the gate cuz when Andressa starts to get her act her tactics she'll she'll go down and start to stall or she'll do some of these Brazilian things we see her do and since she's an older player you kind of agree she's like probably like damn that took the wind out of me or some other whatever so I I like that cuz you you have her her savviness and her knowledge to also link play with some of the other ladies like Diana like West um we're not too sure how long this lineup is going to be a lineup but this is the lineup we got right now and then I said against tuas tuas made some nice signings even if it older players defensively um they're still they still have that wisdom and knowledge to help the other girls you know perform well to keep the back line safe uh of course Charlene I mean I bet she she's still on fire I she's still on fire so she's always going to be someone to watch and of course our girl Aliso she's she's cool man she's cool I want to watch her play and I can't I can't I haven't got enough watching her play just not yet so I'm excited to see what she can bring if she can be influential uh for this tuas team but they're going to leave I don't know Houston Su us I don't know who's the better team I saw mon got whooped three by no take le le MX in the first ever summer Club taking else take it else and this it's ridiculous it's ridiculous I'm honestly shook I thought they were going to perform so much better it is what it is next summer cup needs to be in Mexico okay but if this is only an Olympic thing still next summer cup needs to be in America you make the nwl team I know it's because all the nwl teams got to participate but we can see if they can figure it out if they can have it uh in Mexico next time the summer cup maybe only invite six teams and then you have maybe um what 14 how many teams in 14 something maybe only 14 teams in League IMX participate similar to how Amer did you know what I'm saying so F only six teams get to come from IND we can do it like that but in me that's just some idea some anyways Houston back at home in sh Stadium the lineup the boy rookie the no see they started to glitch they're not showing the lineup no more usually when you see that um that switch they're supposed to that lineup supposed to pop up but they they've been flunked out so it is what it is um see see how you see they to show the lineup it's like oh the the the animation glitched or something called up to Mexico sometimes not already just some key key moves already getting into Barbara I'm guessing Barbara's going to be more the cam the creative midfielder for Houston um all off rip and dressa found her immediately now this Harris girl she's been playing a lot under friend and um so far under rookie and not too sure how long she's been with Houston but um she's been healthy so I think that's why Houston continued to play her um so in this in breeding breedy yeah breedy I think her name is Bella breedy from Houston we I ain't seen her play too much so I have really no idea what she's all about really hopefully she can get uh some cross into the box and find di you know over the top but still not too sure especially if I've never seen the lineup and if they're not the only way they're probably gaining chemistry is probably in practice so that would be the only way they would have some some type of chemistry build up on the field that BS behind West on dressa there's been a I saw an article today well people are making lots of videos about it in the sports world it's it's the Olympics it's about the boxer you already know where I'm going you already know where I'm going and I already set it from the jump anyways anyways I already said up in the J okay great run a here and if ay can get in more of a attack position and less you know defense cuz like we know she has the ability to um she showed up every time that would be really nice for Houston because I feel like we are not we are not getting to see the best of Avery offensively and of course Houston need players that are Houston need players that can score you know the fact that Diana did score nakasato as well who else uh Barbara Houston V on they a been scoring goals y'all they have not been scoring so we need any any of our best maybe I think Avery has potential to be a real good goal score maybe not with the Houston Dash but I hope with the dash but if she does move on to another team I feel teams will be able to Showcase that that side of her America you watch America yesterday or did before or America everyone saying Japan yeah this Japan match is not going to be easy I think everyone knows and it is going to be um probably a whooping I think America's going to whoop Japan I'm sorry athletic wise I feel like the only thing America can't do is make mistakes and they have to P they have to just go ahead early Score first but I'm pretty sure America is going to get past Spain should get past Colombia I think the big quarterfinal I feel I feel FR should get by though they're going to have to watch that film like I said these are opportunity these are opportunities when look MX um Tau some of these indl teams without their national team [Music] players but since our league is so competitive sometimes you can't really tell the difference but sometimes you do and then compared to some of the best Mexico players not in season but beginning their season but still I mean a lot of these ladies haven't playing football for I mean I don't remember they had a break yeah they had like their summer break but poops maybe the ladies had like 30 days 45 days maybe like actually off maybe I'm just giving a hypothetic I'm not sure do they have 60 days off cuz it feels like they've been playing year round nonstop internationally domestically and but they could have had like a good 45 days off two months if they got look apparently there was some more um information apparently emails were revealed or emails are in evidence with the police in Canada and they just coming to conclusion we're just coming to the conclusion that Canada from the top down they have conspired to cheat and got oh goodness that almost goal what that was a that was a good shot I wide so much space so much space Oh the cut back the penalty I mean she never got the ball she never was able to even go for a ball it was a pretty simple penalty call I think okay she did touch the ball I see what she meant yeah she touched the ball cuz she cut it back and then she touched it away yeah so I couldn't she I wouldn't call that a penalty on the first look it looked like it but after that replay she did get a touch the ball so hard done hard done to us hard done there's no VAR if if VAR was here that probably wouldn't be a penalty but since it's not GNA happen is gonna get be able those goals where the keeper goes the right way and the ball is placed so perfectly to the corner and they're just inches away from grabbing it or even a tad L those are Savage those are those uh
