Fact Checking Donald Trump Town Hall on Fox News with Sean Hannity

what's good everybody Welcome to the m Divine podcast my name is Brian Bas I am your host and tonight I'm going to be factchecking the Sha Hannity town hall with Donald Trump on Fox News baby it was a show but let me tell you something shout out to Aaron roer at ater on Twitter who really watches the debates who really watches anything that's Trump puts out a rally a town hall and puts out the clips so that we don't have to I'm going tell you right now right now after that last fact check that I did with Donald Trump was on that damn interview with Mark lvin I just I my brain was just on a different space I can't do it I can't watch anything full but I do have the clips tonight and I'm going to be factchecking those clips so without further Ado let's just get started I mentioned we have this terrible shooting in Georgia right our prayers are with our friends in Georgia okay so they just started with the Barrow County Georgia appalache high school school shooting that happened today at Zachary K on Twitter Zachary KK made some great content around the school shooting that happened today I can't wait to live in a world or in a country where where any child going to school can be free from gun violence like it is so crazy to me that we live in a country a first world country the most powerful country in the world and yet we have school shootings we have students that have to learn how to go under their desks in order to go home safely they have to learn how to get up and run to a corner of a classroom in order to still be safe like it just so mindboggling to me we live in the United States of America and this is our reality but let's see Donald Trump has done nothing as it relates to gun control doesn't plan on doing anything when it comes down to gun control and was the same guy who when he was in Iowa talking about a school shooting when he was campaigning at a rally told the people that they had to get over it it's going to be interesting to see what he says about this shooting years since you got political Arena and I told this audience never before have restrictions been so obviously after the assassination attempt as well and director Ray said the Threat Level has never been this bad he set a five consecutive oh his little boo boo in his ear what is going on well it's a sick and Angry World for a lot of reasons and we're uh going to make it better we're going to heal our world we're going to get rid of all these wars that are starting all over the place oh so thoughts and prayers that's that's that's what it is I mean you haven't even addressed like you are a presidential cand did for the United States you don't start off by talking directly to the camera and talking to the families that were Afflicted today you don't talk about the actual problem and talk about policies that we can actually start implementing things that you can actually do within your party you don't talk about the fact that you need to create some accountability and that maybe this is something that you could start doing to look inward with your party and figure out what is it that we can actually do can we actually do something that is common sense you know Victor Orban made a statement they said bring Trump back and we won't have any problems okay so he said we're just going to make it better and we're going to stop the wars in this country that speaks to nothing about gun violence gun violence in schools protecting children and then you pivot talking about Victor Orban the leader of Hungary who you met who at one point you called the great leader of turkey because you didn't know who the you were talking about you really cited him as a reason for you to be back in office because the leader of hungry and said that we need to bring chump back into office what if they won you'd have not 20 million you have a 100 million people you won't have social security you won't have Medicare you won't have anything already if you take a look at the numbers they're filling up and loading up Social Security Medicare with illegal immigrants that have come into our country so that's gun reform CH and uh let's move on so now largest deportation and the so now he just pivots to immigration instead of talking about Medicare and Social Security again this is Trump's Mo and I really want to ask the media why is it that y'all are not talking about this cognitive decline like y'all really wanted to talk about about Biden all the time but this man makes absolutely no sense he has a complete distorted disconnected way of explaining things it doesn't make any sense to any adult with any Common Sense how can we trust this man with the nuclear codes they're pouring in 21 million people that's bigger than New York and we have to stop it and we have to do the largest deportation and the history so he's talked about this before and talked about how we need to have biggest deportation in the history of this country bigger than the one from Dwight D Eisenhower's Administration which was actually an operation called operation he wants his deportation program to be bigger than that he wants to round up all these Latinos and send them back to their countries usually again if you listen to him speak about how he speaks about immigrants he doesn't talk about immigrants from European countries he talks about immigrants that come from South America Asia Africa but never from Europe so he really is again being racist and xenophobic and usually and I think what he really does is he knows his audience so he doesn't really say anything much about immigration he doesn't really give any plans for immigration either no surprise there then he moves on to talking about Tim Walls who by the way has been eating JD Vance and Trump's lunch like Trump has really been the person who has consistently created nicknames for people crooked Hillary comrade kamla then he went back to the greatest hits and said crooked Joe Biden he's not really creative when it comes down to names but he's clearly bothered by the fact that Tim Walls has gone viral at calling them weird there's something weird with that guy he's a weird guy so instead of even going back to the greatest hits he really just plagiarizes kind of like Melania when she plagiarized Michelle Obama's speech he is not weird he's a solid rock I happen to be a very Solid Rock we're not weird we're other things perhaps but we're not weird incompetent unqualified ill-prepared not up to the moment incognitive decline I mean you pick one but he is a weird guy he walks on stage and something wrong with that guy and he called me weird and then the fake news media picks it up that was the word of the day weird weird weird they're all going JD Vance has allegedly had sex with a couch you're orange but we're not weird guys we're very solid people that want our country to be great again I mean it's very simple so now he pivots to talking about Joe Biden exiting the race which by the way he is so butt hurt about because he doesn't know how to deal with KLA Harris he doesn't know how to attack her nothing has landed I mean he has come after the fact that KLA Harris is black he has talked about the fact that she's a woman she will never be president of the United States because a woman can't be president of the United States and that's not how it's supposed to be like he does not know what to do with KLA Harris and that's why he scared shitless literally because apparently he wears diapers allegedly scared shitless about the fact that he has to debate KLA Harris on September 10th on ABC ain't that some she ran against him in the primary she got no votes no votes and she was the I've debunked this so many times the fact that you say that she's gotten no votes look KLA Harris was on the ticket on the primary ballot so it's Joe Biden and KLA Harris on one rung and when the primary ballots were out when you were voting for the primaries you had to circle a box the Box had Joe Biden and kamla Harris in there because KLA Harris was the vice president the reality is she got 14 million votes just as much as Joe Biden did it is what it is then the Democratic National Convention happened and K Harris got more than 3,000 of the delegates which is way more than she actually needed to secure the nomination of the Democrat Party like this whole narrative is some to leave 20 I think 22 people or something like that and she she dropped she was down to nothing never even made Iowa and he got 14 million votes and they threw him him talking about KLA Harris didn't even make it to Iowa is a call back to 2019 which is not even 2024 but whatever 2019 where KLA Harris was in the primaries against Joe Biden and all the other Democratic candidates at the time at the time the reason why Joe Biden ascended to the top of that ticket was number one he he had the party mandate but number two everyone knew and wanted to be pragmatic about the situation and they knew that Joe Biden was a trusted name who served 36 years in the Senate who served eight years years under Obama's vice president who was a Statesman and a direct contrast to Donald Trump which is exactly what the United States needed at the time so that's why comma Harris did not Ascend to the top during that ticket but hey let's talk about 2024 when she ascended directly to the top the minute she was endorsed you had more than 40,000 black women on a call you have more than 44,000 black men on a call you had more than a 100,000 white women on a call had thousands of white men on a call you had all this massive organizing they raised over 250 million Dollar in a week like KLA Harris had the party mandate in the first week of her endorsement by Joe Biden she had the excitement the virality the moments so if we're going to talk about enthusiasm and we're going to talk about where the party mandate is and we're going to talk about what support she actually had let's look at the last couple weeks which is only the amount of time that she's been at the top of the ticket after the debate and I hate mosquitoes I'm surprised and Fox News got mosquitoes all around that mother Studio like come on man get get that together although allegedly it wasn't a mosquito in there it was actually a fly cuz you know flies are attracted to and we want nothing to do with bad politicians that hate our country too you want to know the he just makes some vague General statements like and here's my question back to the media where are y'all asking about specificities policy about the American people about the that matters nowhere to be found and that's why content creators are eating your breakfast lunch and dinner I'll say I'll say something El real quick cuz we got a break if you yeah if you watch that that interview she had notes that means she knew the questions and she had notes she kept now he's talking about the CNN interview that KLA Harris did with danab bash and her running mate Tim Walls and now he's spreading a conspiracy theory talking about the fact that she had notes when kamla Harris did not have any notes and not only did K Harris not have any notes there's literally a full screenshot of KLA Harris at the table where there was nothing on the table nothing looking down up look nobody wants to cover it I know all about notes I mean you know no one wants to cover it because it didn't happen huh know I wanted to say it so much during my term we went four years without any blowups we had no World Trade children blow up no blowups Iran attacked one of our military bases in the Middle East and gave our soldiers concussions and other injuries what are you talking about you had no blowups and as a matter of fact in 2017 there was an attack in New York City which killed eight people and injured seven others and his own Department of Justice said that it was an ISIS attack also in 2019 there was a Florida military base attack an extremist member of the Saudi Arabia military that killed three service members what are you talking about I'm not saying it but he said it the world is blowing up the world the country was blowing up under you the country was never more divided under you that you were the one who embolden neo-nazis and white supremacists to come out of the shadows and come out with their racism and blatant attack on people of color and any marginalized Group which by the way that's domestic terrorism baby so you talk about there was no terrorism there was domestic terrorism all around this and when you look at Ukraine and you look at Russia you look at all the things that are happening we are potentially getting ready I'm telling you and I've made a lot of predictions and this is not a prediction because it's so bad I don't want it to be a prediction we're heading into World War III territory and because of the power this is again fear-mongering just throwing some out there seeing what sticks see if it scares people enough to vote for him like oh the Savior I'm going to save you and protect you from World War III when literally under his presidency he ordered a drone strike to kill a military General from Iran and that's what prompted Iran to attack one of our military bases in the Middle East like what particular but other weapons are also and I know the weapons better than anybody cuz I'm the one that bought them and you know we rebuilt our believes that Donald Trump knows more about military weapons or nuclear weapons than people in the military or scientists or I don't know nuclear physicists we upgraded our entire program and you know the one program I hated to upgrade hated it was the nuclear program and I understand it maybe better than anybody my uncle was at MIT a professor the longest serving Prof so because his uncle was a professor at MIT he knows nuclear weapons more than anybody else in the world it's nice to have a smart family but I knew I understood nuclear for a long time she wants to raise corporate taxes she wants let me let me now this is the only truth you'll hear in this town hall the fact that KLA Harris wants to raise corporate taxes on all these millionaire billionaire and big corporations because it's time for them to pay their fair share and if you make over $400,000 a year your taxes will go up because you have to pay your fair share and all these millionaires who have been evading and using tax loopholes to not pay their taxes yeah they coming for your ass different if 2016 was about the Forgotten man and forgotten woman what is 2024 about so crazy that the question is about the Forgotten man and forgotten woman that Donald Trump was trying to fight for in 2016 right because he was trying to fight for those bluecollar workers and the work Working Man the working class of the United States particularly in the rustbelt states of Michigan Ohio Pennsylvania Wisconsin it's funny because the actual tax cut that he passed was a $1.8 trillion do tax cut on the ultra wealthy not the middle class not the working class so essentially the person who really forgot about the Forgotten man and forgotten woman was Donald Trump it's still about the Forgotten man and the Forgotten wom the people are being treated horribly in this country Yeah by you from the 1980s when you wouldn't even give black people an opportunity to be in your buildings because you didn't want them living there and you had to be sued to when you consistently emboldened neo-nazis and white supremacists in this country to come out and attack every marginalized group in this country to when you said black lives matter protesters deserve to be shot to when you created an entire Muslim ban refugees from seeking Asylum and seeking a better life for themselves in this country to the fact that you demonized and othered every immigrant class in this country because you said that they were rapists that they were drug addicts that they were criminals to when you called the covid-19 virus the China virus the China flu the Chinese flu and the Biden Harris administration had to pass an entire covid-19 anti-asian hate crime bill because people were being attacked and killed killed because of your ass the person who's been treating people like and terrible is you we're a country that's being left at all over the world because you did that you did that you were speaking at the United Nations literally in front of the world and the United Nations leaders across the world laughed at you you are not respected anywhere domestically or foreign I'll be honest if Joe Biden would be a great president I would be happier than being the worst president in the history of our country you should be ashamed that you are the worst president of this country that we've ever had unlike kamla Harris our time is actually up however we are they never got to a single question in the crowd this is a town hall and no one's question was answered in the audience because he talked the entire time and that's how it ended we're going to let Dave McCormack ask the first question uh and we're gonna air that the not uh
