The weather network did us sooo dirty #harvest #farming

I have a major bone to pick with the weatherman So Yesterday wake up at 6:00 a.m. check the weather network and there is 4 in of rain in the forecast this happened to us in 2010 and we lost $2 million worth of potatoes so we need to now rescue hundreds of Acres of potatoes in less than a week before the rain wipes it all out we're calling out all the stops here we pulled our third Harvester we're calling semi- Tru drivers that haven't driven for us since the '90s we end up harvesting and putting 1.2 million pounds the potatoes in the barn yesterday alone at the same time we need to rescue our squash crop as well we bring in contract labor we're picking squash all day we end up going 16 hours we're also short on bins so we need to start washing all this squash so that we have storage space at the same time I'm calling all the farmers I know letting them know they're going holy crap I had no idea and then I wake up this morning check the weather network it's gone no longer there where did it go I don't know but you almost gave my grandpa heart attack
