Detroit Lions vs Bucs Early Preview ( Rams Clips)

show Lions fans it is week two it's Tuesday Victory Monday it was yesterday it felt great um but then it didn't feel great at at the same time heard some media couple of uh people couple of negative NES if you want to call them that whatever um but you know some people just nitpick that game listen it was a preseason game we got to understand that uh we we're heading into Tampa Bay who we beat in the playoffs uh Baker Mayfield is not Matthew Stafford I got a better feeling about this game so just want to go over a few film clips with you guys and uh talk about this upcoming week so let's dig in let's go like [Music] we hey ke pay for gas all right guys so first and foremost last week's game Los Angeles Rams Matthew Stafford comes back we beat Matthew Stafford in overtime in dramatic fashion um David Montgomery absolutely put the team on his back and and and carried us to Victory but I have been hearing a little nitpicking going on of course especially at your favorite 97.1 uh Valen good Lord he just swore up and down the defense was the the worst and our dline is this and Aiden Hutcherson got to do better and you know the the typical right you got the dark side of the fan base just like you got us the the normal people so um Aiden Hutchinson man let's take a look at this clip right quick I'm GNA be putting the clips up here on the screen for you guys so you can see um Aiden Hutcherson man when he went and got after Matthew Stafford on this play right here you see a Hutson let lined up over here on the right side of the line their line uh got to Matthew Stafford no issue right well when you go back and you look at the video of all of his snaps first of all according to PFF he was 40 something plus percent and and just getting pressure alone you know which is insane I mean yeah he was playing against get some second and third stram guys out there but they were double teaming them uh triple teaming them trying to trip them I can't even you know talk about how many times they hailed them they was doing everything they could uh to keep Aiden Hutchinson from getting back there uh but to me Aiden Hutchinson did what he was supposed to do he didn't have a a subpar game he did what he was supposed to do Matthew Stafford and Shawn McVey are smart they're not going to hold on to the football and allow him to get back there knowing that they have some holes on the offensive line we're not dealing with some mediocre football team that's easy to figure out Mike valenie all right y'all so over at the sponsors right now on the website you can also use the yeah let's let's have some fun this week this one's going to be fun wow wow um you know the last Drive let's take a look at the last drive so the last Drive man um man it it was I mean you had a pass the khif you had to pass the Gibs but other than that it was just pretty much Montgomery right um we started out in the backfield with Gibbs before we BR in mountgomery right so right here you see the reverse play that's Raymond trying to use that speed and get up the field as always um a trick play away from making a big play and then Montgomery comes in boom hit up that right side man pan is a absolute monster he thought it was a touchdown ah and this one here is to the left I mean we literally were just spamming mad Madden plays bro look at that look at that bouncing off just the absolute Beast Dan Campbell spoke about the the shape that he was in this uh offseason before they even came to Camp um he was an excellent shape didn't even break a sweat going through uh those medical tests man that's Gibbs he absolutely destroyed that camera guy uh Gibbs here and then after that it's just all pound it pound it pound it pause pound it uh with with Montgomery man just was I mean that push dude that pushed that o line is just not getting enough credit uh Jameson Williams also out on the edge blocking you guys need to go and find those clips that I mean just impressive very impressive uh you know swinging his hips man getting the guy to turn and blocking and creating holes just like one of the offensive lineman look at that man just absolutely bulldozed his way into the end zone I mean that was the electric finish it was all grit man all grit is exactly what Dan Campbell and the coach of Staff lives by you can't ask for anything better than that right so um man I think you know we're definitely going to stick to the grounded pound game uh we definitely are going to be able to throw the ball around a little bit more against tapa Bay simply because they got guys out in the second secondary um and I think you know game two for J MO is going to be another special one but look for guys like I'm R st Brown and and leap pora to get a little bit more uh you know I would say active this game so you know I you Ben Johnson it wouldn't kill us to just you know can we run a wheel route here and there you know something you know get Gibbs in there you know I mean something you know what I'm saying we don't always have to run when they're there you know we can throw the ball to the to the to the backs uh we did it once in this game and that was an overtime uh against the Rams so yeah man like I said just just make it hard on these teams I think you know Tampa Bay is going to be the first team to suffer though uh you know as we mentioned before it's like preseason when you don't play and then you go out there um and and simply just I mean you got to go through all the the ups and downs and you got to go through the penalties and you know getting the fill in the guys and the new guys and like I said a lot of the new pieces fit in just like glove terion Arnold did a great job for a rookie to have to go up against cup bro you know what I'm saying you dealing with cup him and the cool out there and that's man that is a tough tall task man um he's not dealing with something of that caliber this time around so you know like I said I think we'll be just fine Caron Davis also just I felt didn't get enough credit for that game I did mention anzalone um he came out the gate that game and just got the business but I think the defense is going to be a a whole lot better this game um cleaning up a lot of the the mistakes and the you know uh the things that we just can't have uh but getting to the quarterback as well is something I think that they're going to do like I said the the game plan is is is definitely not going to be similar Baker Mayfield loves to hold that football and it is to its detriment most of the time you know so um I think we we should be able to Feast so look for of course Hutchinson but also look for guys um like reader creating havoc and also Davenport uh being able to land home this time and get to the quarterback so I think they're going to feast and it's going to help guys in the secondary be able to create turnover possibilities I got to say possibilities because you know besides kiry uh you know everybody like they ain't got no hands back there Branch Young fella um you know we got to we got to catch that football got to catch that football man yeah so couple of drop opportunities last game we got to clean that up got to clean that up when you got a chance to make a play make a play your focus is catch the football not with your body with your hands y'all need to be on the the the machine all week so yeah
