2024 CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP PREDICTIONS (Football)

welcome back to gayor games fan TV the club football championship season is upon us the Club season is officially here it has been here obviously for a couple of weeks um but there's been obviously still so much to discuss in terms of Intercounty football Intercounty hurin ladies football kogi so much happening across the uh the Intercounty scene but the Intercounty scene is officially over and so in this video we are going to be predicting every Club football championship every senior Club football championship I think if we went down the intermediate and Junior route we might be here until uh Christmas so we'll just go uh we'll just go with the senior championships obviously myself Sheamus Matthew like we're certainly not all experts as it is probably at least not me anyway judging off my uh predictions this year at Intercounty level but uh we certainly don't know everything about every Club football championship so it's definitely going to be up to some of you Lads as well who are tuning in in the comments let us know your own predictions let us know what club championships you'll be watching um and let us know as well who you think will be um will be coming through the various different Club championships so yeah we're going to be running through uh about 32 Club football championships um 31 counties obviously in Oreland Kil Kenny senior football championship we won't uh we won't go through in in too much detail there just because there's actually very little information on it to be honest um the London football championship will run through briefly and yeah yeah we'll be giving our picks uh for ler for olster for Monster for uh con as well and also our all Orland picks as well so certainly a lot to uh a lot to go through so uh yeah joined by Sheamus Brady from Ona and matchu Hurley from the G statsman um how are we Lads we keeping well keeping very well Aaron I have to say absolutely bozant to get into this now I think if you're talking in terms of you know predict and competitions and stuff that you will likely get wrong I think this one scores at the very top so looking forward to to trying to predict them and everything like that um there's always massive upsets in the club championships every year I mean like you think about last year even some of the shocks that we've seen like Bal H Shamrock's not making it out to K Kenny on the hurling side like there's shocks every year in the Club Championship I think that the main one as well was of course St Thomas has beaten Bal Gunner and like there's always huge shocks so it's going to be very very hard to predict who will come out on top especially like you're talking all Ireland Champion it's so hard like the amount of years over the last few years that people have called that a goway club would win whether it be kurin or Mount Bell moock and then they don't even get out of goway so it's really really hard to predict um I think you know given a little teaser for you know my initial prediction I think you you're looking at a County you're looking at a club sorry that is going to come from a county where they might win it more easy than others because like the Club Championship and winning it winning the all Ireland you have to keep all the troops together you can't lose your big players and Glenn won it last year larg you down to the fact that glass McFall these all Lads they all stayed fish and they weren't missing at the key games and the key points in the season whereas other teams that were missing players did suffer surprise defeats so I think that's a huge point in who ultimately comes out on top in the Club Championship but we're speaking in late August I'm sure a lot going to change by the time it's all said and done in January but it would be fun to give it a crack anyway yeah how excited are you for uh watching a b of Club Championship action Matthew I know you'll have your eyes obviously set on the the cork uh the cork Football Championship this year yeah exactly so thanks for having on again Aron yeah I suppose like I'm just lucky to be the privileged position to be reporting on some C games over weekends and stuff like I think both Harding in football um sometimes it's divisional sometimes it's County and uh that is that's basically made me just keep a close eye on the county Championship so far and so far in cark we've been talking about the big tree um over the last few seasons with the bars neemo and castle hav at the football so now it's the big one Castle hav looked like head Jers above everybody I know talk about car in the Bas of James talk about shocks and stuff like that and we're always going to have to build the Club Championship we already had it last weekend with S V bars losing the ballot which was unexpected in manyways um they lost by two points they had I Maguire out the pitch step Sherlock Brian haes out the pitch and still they couldn't go over mow who were very few inter County players on their panel so like you're going to get shocks up and down the country I see wty Gres again lost to slot de as well the dairy Championship I see Mo belly lock loose to S him knock the car goway scary Harps gave kimal cro a good run for the Dublin championship for what I've seen as well K Shamrock's only lost by a point Dingle so there have been very very good games at the club Championship so far so yeah definitely looking forward to getting into the chat with you guys here and yeah it's gonna be interesting to protect every Club Championship up down the country and um we're going to get a few R but hey look we'll we'll go for it and give it a crack anyway absolutely yeah so I suppose we'll start off with the uh with the ler counties um first of all Aon says here Bridgets look to go all the way this year so unlucky um last year yeah absolutely we'll certainly get onto that um a little bit later so we'll go on alphabetical order and uh we'll go with h we'll start off with the the counties of lster and that first of all leads us with the Carlo football championship so just looking at it there air o won this last year H in 2023 they beat uh tinr land yeah there's definitely going to be some names here I'm going to absolutely butcher but look it is what it is uh paleton W it in 2022 and just looking at some odds actually so I was looking on odds Checker RAF Philly are actually H favorites uh to win the championship despite having not won it since 2021 um but looking at it there like arog had a dominant spell from 2017 to 2020 um so yeah I'll come to you on this one Matthew who would you be uh looking towards in the Carlo football championship obviously our knowledge here now is very few and far between um but if you were going to back someone who who would you be thinking obviously enough Aron is a shot in the dark because Carlo you may as well last be to you know the the Championships over in Paris or whatever whatever G championships because I wouldn't have the slightest of I order about the Carlo Championship if if truth be told but having seen rog's young talents come up against Kid mord last year I know they got blown out of the water and L to last season but they still had a good young players FL floating in around there I think Jordan Baris is in around a team and he looks a very good player from the car County side so I think I back a all to win as rat Vil is quite an interesting one that was completely out of the blue I didn't see him as favorites for the Carlo Championship but I probably go for a ro to win it and the less about the Carlo Championship the better because I wouldn't know much about it in honestly but go for a to win it what would you be thinking H Shamus just just looking at it there the club that I could not pronounce tin Rand in the last two County finals they were were beaten fairly comfortable in the final last year only two points to Paton in uh 2023 so um there are there are shocks there are surprises always what what would you be thinking it's an interesting one I think like tinland I know of tinland from the 2018 season just because Paul Brodrick was that was his club and I remember Paul brck was up for an Allstar selection I remember that year that was the Carlo Rising year he was Sensational for the Carlo County team that year definitely I find it interesting that ratv are favorites above era o because era o obviously defending Champions and then previously as you mentioned went on that dominance spell at the end of the 2010s and like they did okay against Kil mcord in lster last year the reality is is like you're coming up against a Kil M cro side that if you were to make them an Intercounty team I know it's one of the oldest phrases in the book but if you to make Kim M could an Intercounty team and you put them in division three they'd probably get promoted out of division three into division two and probably stay there like the the level of talent that croes have is outrages um and they did well like it was against a full forward line that you had Paul Manion Shane Walsh Darren Mullen and erog definitely impressed for long stages I think like on their day I think Jordan Mory is Carlo's best footballer and if they can get him at the peak of his powers I see them absolutely as the Front Runners because the other thing as well is in club championships especially the ones that aren't straight knockout and Carlo's one isn't straight knockout when it's not straight knockout it does leave the door open to more of a dynasty and I was having a debate recently enough with a fan who was against the terone championship structure where it is straight knockout and he was saying it's it's not fair on the club teams who lose and then I was pointing out in return like we are seeing it's definitely a like an issue for another day to talk about but we are seeing a lot of counties where there are clubs now who are emerging as very dominant dynasties like you look at how many gway championships of St Thomas has won how many have b h shock won in Kil Kenny like last year they lost and it was a huge shock kilal croes did back-to-back doubles in Dublin back-to-back football and hurling in the one year so it's interesting because you once you catch a team you very rarely catch them twice and I fancy era o their squad depth and the talent that they have compared to most of the other clubs around Carlo I think if they can if they can hit the ground running I can see them retaining their title yeah I think so as well like looking at the margin of Victory as well um like in the last final as well like a like a complete WIP wash really and I was even looking through some of rafal's players there and just in a match Report with their game against AOG last year and there isn't too many that jump to mind that are on the county team so it is it is interesting all right and um in terms of them um them being the favorites but yeah we're all going with air o as our picks for the c o senior football championship after that then it is the Dublin uh senior football championship and obviously myself and Sheamus would be um I suppose quite invested when it comes to the Dublin senior football championship Kil M croes as we know are the top dogs over the last couple of years um you'd have to go as far back as 2020 that last team other than Kil bres won the Dublin senior football championship and that was Bal mon kicks the Dublin football championship is already underway and that is the thing as well there will be a lot of championships that are underway so like for anyone tuning in from various different counties like feel free to let us know um how how the Championships are getting on in match day one in the Dublin football championship there were some interesting results kichel croes narrowly beat scary's Harps one of the standout results for me was Bal mon kums getting the win versus Bal Bowden um and of course as we know kickhams have been a team that a lot of people have been backing in the last couple of years and when you look at some of the star sted names in their team but Sheamus I'll come to you on this like I mean Kil M Kroes can anyone stop them you feel like if there's a place where they'll be stopped in lenser it's probably going to be in the Dublin football championship I think we all remember that game against rahini last year where they got true but the Absolute Skin of Their Teeth I think it was a penalty shoe out in the end rahini so many chances through that so I mean that's the big question like can kill Mook croes can they be the can they be the Tron in Dublin or are they just too strong it's difficult to know H and it's again it's something that a lot of people will tune into and like it people are when teams go on those dominant spells we want them to lose and like we I was working um at the game last year the one you were talking about against I was working with the the media team at that and the viewers on the live stream going into the final few minutes when it looked like rahini were gonna beat Kil mood went through the roof everyone was like desperate to see if this was going to be the end of Kil mood's dominance in Dublin and look last year they lost the hurling one they lost the hurling championship and their grip definitely loosened last year like they still won but they didn't look as undeniable as they had done in previous years and now Glenn took them out in the all Island semi-final stage Shane Walsh didn't play against Gary's haps it would be interesting to see how Robbie Brennan manages him like how what way is he going to bring him back in is he going to ease him back in like give him a couple of minutes here and there or is he now going to be like you know what we weren't the best against GES we kind of need to get this back guy back now for the tests toe like as you said bmon looks sharp nfina looks sharp like there's going to be big tests ahead me personally I actually do think theil mood could lose this year I really do I think theil mood could be beaten in Dublin because it's difficult to be the hunted for so long I think we saw limr struggle with it this year and the hurling like that you know it's it's difficult to have a tag on your back for so long and everybody wants to take you out and I think Kil mcord aren't 100% what they used to be I think if they get to the final I think there's no stopp in them but I think they could be caught in a kamakazi style semi-final like rahini nearly got them in last year and if if Kil mcut don't win the Dublin football championship I think it will probably be one of Balon and ainaa that will yeah like I think it's interesting what Bal mon Ki comes like they're they're always touted every year as one of the favorites um but I think one thing that they've struggled with hugely is obviously the fact that the majority of their players playing County football and likes of Dean Rock Philly McMahon obviously down the years James McCarthy Patty Small John small the fact that Dublin went out in the quarterfinals like quite early on in the championship I think might potentially suit them um and then as well like the fact that Dean Rock obviously retired like he's had a full League season under his belts James McCarthy probably wasn't right for the majority of the season with Dublin but it looks like maybe he's coming back um into into fitness as well so I suppose shame is like B Bal mon comes they definitely are coming and they're definitely going to be in the mix especially after they're win versus Bowden there as well certainly and I like that's always been a huge issue for balm is like the deeper doubling go into the all Island Championship the worst it is for balmon in terms of their Club performance and I mean it's no coincidence that what year in the last seven years have you seen balyon look their best it's the pandemic year it's the pandemic year where they played the club championships first and then they played the Intercounty after and what happened is balmon got a free run from the starts they all started at the same line and a lot of teams in Dublin now that are performing pretty well in the Club Championship like as you said scary's gave Kil mut a right go and you look at scary's Team like you've got kilan mcginness obviously there at Midfield who's the best player like my opinion he's fantastic apart from that like they don't really have much of a Dublin influence and that means that they have had a unit there together who have played the basically the entire league with each other and they know the system they know their roles they know their jobs and Balon kicks have always been caught by teams like that like you think about the year they got caught by Luc and S Fields think about the year they got caught by Thomas Davis like they always have struggled against a team that have been together since Gecko and don't have as much Lads Landing back into the team who are superstars but haven't quite been with the team the whole time and as you said you wouldn't imagine it has a huge difference on their performance but the one year that they've won it really impressively as a lot of people have expected them to do every year given the talent they have is the pandemic year where there was no Intercounty distracting them so the fact that duin have gone out early in my opinion gives them a way better chance than if Dublin had just played in an isand final because last year let's not forget Dublin played Kerry in that all isand final Dean Rock had his wedding uh to makoy the dubs went away on holiday they came back 10 days after the all Island final balm lined out against B Balden in round one what happened paty smile pulled his hamstring inside 10 minutes badly as well like that there's no doubt that that was an injury caused by over playing and so I think they're in a great position here I actually the more I talk about it the more I'd be tempted to make bmon favorites there we go yeah what about uh you'll see the club Jersey on the on the back there Bal Bowden St Enders I should stress I'm not a b Bowen man I just got that Jersey sent out and I did a promotion for KC Sports not too long ago and left the left the hanging up there because I probably will never wear it realistically um but yeah like I mean do they have a chance like they've obviously they were in the pH last year I remember a lot of people were back in them last year including myself you most notably me um they obviously have the best GES in there as well I think that's probably why they they sent the Jersey out like because I was backing them so much last year but like what about them Sheamus like could they could they maybe be in it or or ultimately who are you back in then you back in balmon yeah you see what Bal Bowden it's weird B Bowden the last four years if B Bowden won it in 2019 and since then in 2020 2021 2022 and last year they have either won every game or they've got stuffed and there's been no in between like last year they didn't come close to Kim could they got blown out of the water and as you said Superstars like the Bas girl brothers and in my opinion Warren Eagan is so effective when he's on his game they were made to look extremely ordinary along with the players of the talent of Ross m and Michael Daren mcy and they just weren't at the races at all in that final and croes ran them over I would kind of look at it this way and go you know what Bal Bal Bowden could be good for the odard upset but I don't think that they're going to win the Dublin Club Championship this year could be famous last words it's always always bold to you know bet against the current Champions but I just think that there's something in this Kil mord side that like they've been on the road for a while now you think about everything they've been through over the last two years W winning the like losing the all Ireland final to kill coup which feels like a decade ago now then they won it against Glenn but we all remember that Fiasco and then they get to the semi-final against Glenn where it felt like the Wolves were out for them that night and then they went down in a battle which to be fair they went down swing in a that game against Glenn they've been through a lot and I think in the scarest game the just looked a little bit you know little bit vulnerable and I think someone like B like balmon or neina would be able to really punished them I'm going B to win it there we go for yourself matchu as a as an outsider like just looking at the odds like on on odds Checker again like Kroes are the favorites you've got nfina second favorites Bal mon comes in a third Bal Balden Fort you've got Judes and Kola maybe with outside chances as well um what would you uh what would you be thinking it's hard to go against either kid mord bmon or Bal bordon to be honest with you H rahini do have good men around the middle but looking at the outside anyway with Brian Howard and Briant Fenton there Judes Judes have I don't know is Kevin Max still playing but n cley's gone back down to car so he's gone out of that team that's going to be a big loss to them um I like I'm going make ball predictions throughout the video so would I make my ball prediction now and say balm the thing is there's so many um er you know ways in W which you'd argue bad m is going to win and number one as you mentioned before Aaron and you mentioned to be off air as well the other night you said that Dean Rock isn't with Dublin team this year they went out in the quarterfinals as well I just feel like this is probably a year where Bry mour could shot k m cot but just feel like at the same that Kil M cot are too good to go down like Paul manion's very good Shane wsh we all know his qualities Royal card's experience at this level their B Defenders Dan o'b Bren should be in the Dublin team in my opinion TI Clans is an excellent fullback up and coming as well I just feel like K Cod are too good to going down I feel like Kil mord will win the championship maybe that's just maybe on the outside but I just feel like Kil mord have it in them enough to win the championship and the only team I do see in going down Kil mord is probably going to be balmon but it's going to be very um interesting to see that you see scary Harps in the match they won they look very good in trying to Gun Down kilb cot I just feel like kilot have too much too much fire power to get the job done in Dublin and BM will definitely get them close but feel like kot will win it in the end Dyan keing is another good player for B Moon should be looked over in my opinion but I just feel like HB will get over the line there we go yeah um yeah for myself it's a it's a difficult one as well but I think I might go with nfina to be hon honest with you I feel like they've been knocking on the door for a couple of years I remember two years ago they were coming into that final in in brilliant form and only narrowly beat as well um and I feel like overall especially when you look at the former Conor McHugh as well who's been like a real Stand Out player for neina obviously the doublin influence in there like Owen merch and Johnny Cooper um yeah I I think neina are going to do it as well I agree with both of you Lads I think Kroes are vulnerable when it comes to the Dublin football championship I think they've probably maybe got away with it a little bit in the last coup years in in knockout games um I think this is the year maybe that they that they get caught and in the nature of how this year has gone I think it would be um it probably would be very fitting in regards to how the year has gone um so yeah just moving on then we have the cair football championship um no surprise nce are heavy favorites they've won the last three championships in a row um you do have celbridge there as well like they got to the final last year and only narrowly lost um by two points but in a SAR fashion really to the Dublin football championship Matthew like nay are heavy heavy favorites and it's very very hard to bet against them to be honest yeah they look a serious team H even Owen D who recently retired from kir was a very experienced player on that team D IR one was one of the top score top scorer from play from in the Talon Cup this year quality footballer um aan Callahan I'm not sure what the situation is with him is he um going to go into the coaching team or is he retired or what's the story but if he's still there that's another experienced player to add to for this you have Alex B there who's an excellent footballer at this level as well PTY M dur is a wing back so I think n are the obvious favorites for kir I don't think anybody is going to stop them and as well as that if anybody's going to stop the Dublin champions in Lin or whoever it is Bal Mo Kord or or whoever it is it's going to be n they are a serious team and they are and going to be going for lanster they've got close to Kil in the last few season well last year it was a bit of a whitewash let's to be honest um there was one year I think when Paul Bion was injured I think or dark her one was injured coincidentally for n as well where n pushed kod really really close in that game as well so so yeah I I think n are the clear favorites to win us and they beat Johnstone bridge in match they won 14 points to n nine as well and Johnstown Bridge have Daniel Flynn their team so I feel like n are a big team and they're going to be hard to stop celbridge you mentioned their are they beat raheed in the first day W 13 to 11 points KY won against carbury as well so yeah I I feel like it's going to be either celbridge or n celbridge are probably going to be the closest team to them but I feel like if n are are to be stopped in kir this year it'd be a massive shock the players that they have the you know the history that they have in this Championship I feel like n will win the kildair championship and they'll push Kil mot very very close or whoever it may be in lster yeah I suppose looking at it there like DK Iran's obviously a stand out player for Ace but even just looking at the the odds for the cair football championship on on paddy power like nice are 4 to six and then after that it's Elbridge a 5 to one so like it's quite a jump there like in terms of the the odds like nce are heavy heavy favorit so Sheamus would you be align there with matchu and thinking that nce go all the way yeah and this this is one of the dynasties that I would reference when it comes to the Club Championship nce have an iron grip on the K championship and it doesn't look they CLE they're going to let it go this season anyway um I bit of a hot take though I think that if they do get through I would back nce to actually be able to beat nafina or balm more likely then to beat Kil mood because I feel like if Kil MC get out of Dublin I feel like they can kick it and be like okay we know how to get through lster now we've done it the last two years whereas I think balmon and ninaa actually because the year that balmon won the Dublin Championship obviously it was the pandemic so they didn't bother going with the rest of the all Ireland Series so BM haven't been in the ler Club Championship since they won it in 2013 won in 201223 that's a long long time ago and for nafina it's been way longer nobody on that nafina team has played lster Club football so for for n's sake I think that they would be hoping that it's you know an Aina or a Balon to come out with a Dublin Championship because they won't have that same level of experience but as mat you said the talent that nce has speaks for itself like Derk uran is one of kar's best players Alex burn on Doyle like they absolutely are you know stacked when it comes to the talent that they have celbridge have some big big names in there as well and I was surprised when I looked at the final last year the names in the celbridge team that it wasn't you know one that went down to the wire but nce just have a knack and they find a way to get over the line in these games and did a champs for a reason and I think ain't going away anytime soon yeah I think so as well I would have to to back nice as well like I think there are some championships where you can throw in some crazy predictions but this feels like one where be very very hard to uh to stop nice and furnace so we're all very much in agreement in regards to that moving on from the cair football championship we do have the leash football championship um and looking at it last year St Joseph's won the championship H beating Port leash it was their first championship that they won in 23 years first senior championship in 23 years and actually they're the only Club other than Port Arlington and Port leash to uh to win the championship since 2016 and even strad B who won it in 2016 they're the only ones to have won it either than Port leash um since 2006 so like it has been very very much dominated by Port Arlington and um and Port leash and even just looking at the odds as well like there all very much split between Port leash Port Arlington and St Joseph's um few bookmakers there of Port Lea's slight favorit but Matthew what would you be thinking this feels like a championship that between them three clubs it could probably go either way but again suppose the knowledge maybe might be quite limited here to to boost up on my knowledge I looked at the results of the leas championship in the last few weeks and around match day one and match day two and around that c AR had actually lost to a club called Greg cin if I pronounce that correctly by 20 points to 115 so so like that was a big loss i' have Manion for Port AR to take and Port leash on the other hand they beat EO by 53 to 314 so they score a lot of goals evidently obviously um so that was a good result for Port Lee to take and then St Joseph's won their game as well in the leag championship on around the match they won Mark as well they be um looking at it here they be B Bal linen by 217 to six PS so by the looks at in results St Joseph still look on a serious Trail to do good and Leash maybe it's difference at opposition I'm not entirely sure with them but I think it's safe to say it'll be one of them three to win it and the fact that Port Aron lost the first a probably just shows that they are lacking a bit maybe the defeat last year kind of them kicked them in Sp but after that I think they lost to PO leash the semi final in po leash lost in the final to St Joseph that was an incredible win by St Joseph and they were in way shock team at the year Wars last year for a reason like that was a big win in the Le Championship last season um look at the results so far I wouldn't back against St Jor was doing it again all honestly like that was a big result in um in one of the match days 2 17 to six points to beat any team by that margin by um 17 points is a massive H win to take so I would say it's going to be between St Joseph's and Port leash Port Arlington don't seem to be on it this year I'd probably go slightly Port leash just because of the you know the the history that they have at the leash Championship but St Joseph would not be far off in winning again this season yeah like I think with Port Ireland and they've lost a good bulk of players that they had from 2022 and 2021 um like a lot of those Lads have gone traveling um players have retired so it is a a much changed team really from the from the side of a couple of years ago from what I've seen anyway and heard um yeah like interesting enough that team you mentioned H gray Cullen there four favorites um looking at it here like in in on odds Checker so um make of that what you will but jamus what would you uh what would you be thinking here yeah I kind of would like to Echo what match you said I'm probably leaning towards Port leash I think when you look over the last two decades like Port leash's name is all over the leash Championship like the players that they've had you know whether it's Colin Parkinson like they they absolutely have dominated the Le championship and like Zack Tui as well is another absolute superstar that they produced out that club and the truth is is that they haven't been as successful in the last five years as their standards have demanded in the least Championship over the last 20 years so they're in a little bit of a period where they they need a championship like no question about it and losing in the final last year would have really stung them St Joseph's produced an incredible achievement last year and Deanie has actually said like the results that they got there round one like that definitely is an eye opener it's definitely one that's like would sit up make you sit up and take notice of you know the stat that they have made but in my opinion P leash beat a stronger opponent and I think that I was slightly edger to them to go and reclaim the leas title there we go I'm going to go a little bit left field with this one and I'm going to go for Dempsey to uh to win it um Fifth Fifth favorites on there nine to one in the bookmakers I think it's um good odds um just looking at it there like they' few players that are on the leash under 20s as well um so going to go going to go a little bit left field as as you will um moving on from that then we have the uh loud senior football um Championship then um and just looking at it here in terms of the uh the winners from last season um St Mary's obviously coming out on top there and they've actually won it in the last two years as well you do have Nave Martin though who are probably one of the standout teams they obviously do have Samu Roy um in their in their ranks so that's a player obviously a lot of people very much think of when it comes to loud what would you be thinking here matu yeah I think it's going to be I think it's a stress toss up here between s r Sam mares and Nave Martin like n Martin have the best low player um in the county in Sam Roy that's without question he's an incredible footballer and da Mar never experienced a winning the L Championship as well what I will say about R Mary's though this is a club I really kept on over the last few seasons because it simply just involving myself my own club actually played RDC Maries of the fail under 14 level in 2014 with with the L of Dar mccon in the round I think that M team you had Don mckenny in the round the two Jacksons and Tom and Lee were in that team as well they beat my club that time 28 to no score in a 30 minute game so like you could see this potential that they had that time and even then going into WI one two in a row in loud as well like they have incredible footballers they've been on the road for a long time now in this um in this Lou Championship like do mckenny scored the goal against CLK obviously Tom and Liam Jackson are outstanding footballers Dar MCC Conan's been very good in club level over the last few seasons and that group of players has been together for a long time now they've been for the bulk of i' say more than 10 years maybe 12 13 years in the same age group from Under 12 under 14 right up the senior this has been a really good story from and already said Mary's point of view and I think they will win three in a row I think the momentum is there and I think they will win three in a row but Nave Martin with Samurai will take Serious stopping as well absolutely yeah like no n Nave Martin are serious serious contenders there no doubt about it and even looking at the odds as well like it very much is split between St Mary's and Nave Martin you do have St mockas in there as well as maybe a bit of an outside show new town Blues have been I suppose knocking on the door and in the last couple years as well um what would you be thinking yeah know again like the top three that you listed there mocked is na Martin and Marys like they're definitely the the three obviously ones that you look at and Mar's last year like they were solid enough when they got out of you know low and they competed well in the lster championship like they definitely look like they're trying to build a platform to then make a push to go further into the lster championship and like when you look at the standard like of loud football in general it's just improving across the board so like I wouldn't be surprised if the L Champions actually do put up a big test to whoever they come up with in the laner championship even if it is the Dublin Champions when it's all said and done um yeah like I probably am going to go with Nave Martin just based off the fact that Sam Roy is in the form of his life and like you seen how he just LED L time and time again constantly LED the way and you think about when you're looking in the championship did Samy make any mistakes really for loud like did he make did he miss any free that he took did he miss any shot at the post that he took like very very rarely made any mistakes and I think when you bring that kind of leader that kind of Captain figure into your county team you can build a championship winning side around him and I think while L DC Mar's have had incredible success over the last few years I think maybe looking at how up in der like Glenn were just they just able were to Edge stock Neil all that time over the last few years but now this year sneil have Edge them maybe this is the year that na Martin Edge Mary Z yeah I think so I think I'm going to go with uh with Nave Martin as well like as you said with the talent that they have in mroy Daren mcconnan um interesting enough like Jim mcginness was involved with that club a couple years ago as well so they do have quite the uh quite the influence over them so I'm going to back them to uh to come true looking at the Longford Football Championship uh Kow young EMT won it last season and it was their first County Title since 2020 obviously a name that does stand out here is mulaka and obviously that was because of the shock they obviously caused a good couple of years ago beating Kil M Kroes funly enough um as well um you do have drumard in there as well as one of the favorites drumard there um coming in as third favorites according to most bookmakers and they last won the Longford championship in 2007 as well which is interesting so like looking at it there it looks like according to odds anyway that it's going to be between young emitz and mulaka match you but when you actually think about it this could be a championship really that kind of goes either way because like or could go anyway because I'm not too sure if mulaka had like they haven't won it since 2021 a lot of their key players probably aren't in the uh in the side anymore so it's kind of hard to to know if they're still the same Force as they were like a good couple years ago I'm going to cross spanner the works here I'm going to go for Co kill to win us not either mon or K young I've looked at the results in this said the long for championship in the past few match days mono only beat clonguish by 310 toight to 18 points that was 18 scores to 13 the goals got them out of jail that day so I just feel like this isn't the same mon oor team that was there that um that achieved great to see ler championships down through the years I don't think this is the same team whatsoever and I just feel like there's a bit of vulnerability about them K young em it's only beat by strm nine points to one two so that would probably indicate to me that they were more defensive site and they don't have more of an attacking Outlet in them so I just feel like that will come back to bite them as well whereas col killan there one of their first games they beat Sam's granard by 214 to one nine they are a serious team and they won Longford I think two years ago as well so I'm going to say colum kill would win win just because of recent results and things like that I don't think M and O are the same team I think colum kill will win lford yeah a few few comments here Aiden says there's been a trend where the runners up win the all Oreland in the following year for the past three years in a row it's actually a very good point um when you think about it like Hil obviously losing um the final they go on to win it the next year same with croes um and then obviously the same again with uh with Wy grames Glenn so could that be a sign that maybe Bridget get over the line um in 2025 as it was be um who knows uh Gavin says do you think it would be more than likely uh Kroes or nice who win lenser could any of those teams from different counties winner there's definitely a few good counties in the mix like arog as we said might and be um potentially a million miles off you're looking at um well obviously more look at more look at someone like Mary or n m to be honest nice as well like are definitely are definitely in the mix um the me the me clubs have a bad record in ler they do they do yeah they do um but before we get onto the me football championship the longf for the football championship Sheamus give us uh give us your prediction there um yeah know as as mat said like colum kills definitely are there within a shout the M the team certainly isn't what it used to be it certainly isn't like and that was part of the fairy tale around that game was that was 2018 so that's six years ago and and when Mulla did that their team was made up of lads in their early to mid 30s like the mcy brothers John Keegan um Don Mela Shane Mulligan like these Lads were all early 30s so a lot of them have packed up and aren't there anymore so they have completely changed um in terms of the Personnel in the team like there are sides there like the column kills that I would find as a threat but I probably share it to K young EMT I I actually like the squad that they've got have some very talented players in there like there is obviously still danger with M OCT especially like if they can get their best 15 out on the pitch like if they can get there like Daren Brady there I don't know if he is at full form there for lford I know he wasn't playing for the lford county team this season but if they can get him there he's a superb player and they can build a forward line around him and that could spearhead their challenge but I probably will lean to K young emit right now there we go there we go um yeah moving on from that well actually in my prediction actually to be fair I'll go with Mullen yaka you know what we've we've beted against them there I'm going to say they make a bit of a a recovery one last the last dance for for Mullen yaka maybe a bit like the footballers um last season Aon I will have to peace out at this point but I wish the best of look give us for myself um I think the all Ireland this is stabbing a deck I think I'm looking at either St Bridgets or slot Neil I'll go slot Neil there we go there we go slot Neil is the uh is the prediction oh it's locked in you can't change now oh wait we're going back Bridget I go brid there we go I think that's probably is the safer be to be fair because it's It's Tricky predicting there predicting slot good stuff um moving on to the me football championship Summer Hill won that um last year beating rat out and no surprise they are the favorites it is very much between them rat out or wolf towns matchu so um I suppose like looking at this I mean it's it's going to be interesting to see like summer hill have some wealth of of County players in their team as well they do yeah this is a very very tough one to predict look at the results from H one of the first matches wolf Tor only beat Gil K Hill nine points to eight so again a defensive team would that be go ahead to catch them I'm not entirely sure H rat losted their first game as well and try to check their results here um I I think subber Hill beat Wonder opening they beat Bal the bricky 10 points to eight h r lost to screen 11 11 to 12 points so I think the safe options probably going to be sub Hill to win it um Simon H looked decent enough 115 to 112 win over Thea um there was another decent team I was going to look at as well from a me point of view um looking now yeah see colum KS de beat s I'm I'm going to butcher off chills town or whatever correct me from R me fans but that is a hard name to pronounce and they beat them three 12 to 13 points in the opening there that's an eight point Victory so that's a very good victory to get so you know what I think by the first match day I'm going to go s coling Hills to win it um I think subad will be very very tough to beat as well brat don't seem to be the same team will T see to more of a defensive outfit um I'm going to go for St colum kills though to win us attacking football all the way I'm going to go for them to win us there we go there we go yeah look looking at it from my point of view looking at rat out like they have some amount of of County stars in their side like they've got Brian McMahon there dohi mcowan we've got Jack Flynn Joey Wallace Aon Wallace um like on fr's a stand out player there for Summer Hill um and he was obviously one of the the the big players from amid perspective um but yeah I don't think I can look past um I suppose the talent that is in that rat out team so yeah I'm going to go for rat out to come out on top there in the me senior football championship moving on from that we have offley uh very much been dominated by either tore or Road um dating back as far as 2015 for ban where the only side um who sort of went against the grain they won it in 2019 no surprises really that either tore or Road um are favorites you look at some of the players that are in the tmore ranks you've got the likes of um Cor mcgean in there as an example no mnam is obviously there for road so what would you be thinking here it's going to be a game like got low there's going to be a tossup h Road Beast b b common 12 211 to seven points at the first day and then um to more won there first game as well of the offley senior football championship 31 to15 against brna so this is going to be a tough one to call I think it's going to be a tossup between the two of them I think youth over experience I'm going to go with I'm going to go over to more to win us car gegan like you mentioned there he's their star man the star man for road is n mat and N has been on the road for no penders for so many years now um in an offly short and in club level as well so feel like you will Top the experience I think toore will win the off leag Championship there we go yeah I'm going to agree with you that as well um and I think when you look at recent results as well like for for tmore in particular um obviously winning the the championship last season um they've got some star players in their ranks as we mentioned before so I'm going to go with h tore as well looking at the West me football championship St Lans won it last season beating Coral toown kindergarten by seven points St Lans do have like a a serious team within their ranks you've got Ron noou in there you've got John hlin in there as an example but don't look past the Downs they won it in 2022 and obviously a stand out player there is Luke Lan um County footballer with the West me footballers um as well and looking at the odds most bookmakers do have um St Lans as favorites and the Downs as second favorit so um I suppose like when you like with st Lans they have the the county stars in there but like looking at like they've only won three of the last five so it's not exactly a dynasty as such from a St Lan's point of view it isn't really and um de B his Wonder opening round games as well St Norman beat car 310 to 36 so very um unconvincing for St lman kind of levels a four-o victory over a club to be honest so you have I don't know much about um and then the DS won comfortably their opening game as well so it is going to be between them two i' have to go by looking at the players that they have though and I think St Norman have a serious wealth of options like Ron to for example John hland like two of those are the best two County players West me and St Lans have them in their Club ranks so I think it's going to be difficult to bit against St Lans to win this championship and I feel like St Lans will get the job done yeah absolutely I think I will agree with you on on that one as well and maybe a bit of an outo shout is atlan and I think Ray canell do play for them so he might maybe be and they might be a bit of an outside showout there looking at them their s sixth favorites um according to most bookmakers there but to be fair they haven't won it in Donkey year so um yeah I think I'll agree with you there I think looking at it between Lans and downs probably would back um Lans with the the STS of the players that they do have after that it's the Wexford senior football championship shell MERS have won this twice in the last three seasons um they won at last season Bo a point against castl toown um Liam melow um standal player here interestingly enough onog gar has been a bit of a feature for shers in recent years not entirely sure if he's involved again this season um but again like shell MERS do have a whole host of star players County players within their rank so um they will be uh hard to topple yeah they will be shers have some excellent players that they perform brilliantly in lster championships don't for the years they got n extra time as well but their manager that time I think was John Hagerty and he's now obviously the Wexford senior football manager so ni Shel to beat na recently 212 to 29 c Le Millow beat Clen Baron 112 to 110 so both so won a few their opening games it's hard to bet against chamers though like that's a good result against a na te they're very good je Club in Wert very well known obviously Glenn Baron is a good football team as well C only Mill was beat in by two points to hard one the George um i' probably go shelers just because of the all experience that they have obviously on noara among their ranks as well and they Ross B who's a very good footballer in his own right as well so I go for chamers to win it but Castle mow are definitely the second in command in Wexford absolutely yeah like and even looking at it there like with castletown they've been to two of the last four finals um and like they're both in narrow defeats um as well um in saying that um actually they've been in three of the last four finals they actually won it in 2022 as well beating shell maler so I'm going to go with castl toown to get back on top um like they do have the experience of getting to a couple of finals um and even like looking at it there as well like in terms of the Shel MERS um they haven't been able to win back-to-back County titles um since they won it back in 2018 um so yeah going to go with uh with castl toown to get over the line looking at the wicko football championship then um so looking at it last season blessington came out on top vo a replay versus rat new um rat new were um a team that a lot of people sort of gravitated towards especially when they beef in um all those years ago um but looking at it there um you've got like even looking at the last four seasons like blessington have won it twice in the last three years and they do have some um County Stars within their ranks you've got St Patrick's 2022 Balton glass in 2020 um so like looking at it there probably going to be between either blessington or St Patricks if I had to put my money on it probably go with h with blessington t though and no this recently biased and things like that but blessing did lose one their opening games to Bon last 116 to 12 points in wiler so that's probably skewed my opinion away from them I know blessed to have some exent players like Kevin Quinn I'm a huge fan of them for w though on the forward line but bed last beat by that much and that is definitely an eyee opener um arrow greystones look to be decent enough they beat AR 211 to 29 as well um so they probably look in serious F I think Boughton last look the series favorites to win we after that result against best R new be B it's 210 to two to 10 points so that's an excellent result for their point of view as well and of course they got to the final last year as he mentioned I think it's going to be either rat new or Bost and last is going to win this Championship um look that's an excellent result that bed last did get against blessington by seven points that's an excellent result to get against the current County Champions I just feel like the hurt from last year and the fact they beat a decent side BR by points and match day or match day one of the first match days I think that would be good in going through the championship and I just feel like rat new will get a done in wi though this year 210 to 10 points as mentioned against BR that's a good result to get I feel like rat newu are are going to be the wicko Champions this season there we go yeah I'm gon to stick with the blessington prediction there um as I was saying before I think they've been in phenomenal form um like or or obviously if they were not in phenomenal form losing this year and but of course they did win the county championship last year and having a player like Kevin Quinn within their ranks I think will uh will do the business so that's everything wrapped up from a lenser perspective we'll have a look at the um monster counties um and then we will give our predictions as well in terms of who we think uh will win the various different club or various different provincial Club football championships um looking at CLA first of up the Clair football championship cck low won that last year was their first County Title since 2014 aois and miltown Malby um St Joseph's there are two of the favorites um so looking at it there like CR low like they very much won it against the odds last season like not many people were expecting them to uh to come out on top um what would you be thinking here I'm surprised you didn't mention Errol ganis as one of the favorites there like they have some serious Talent H Gavin Cooney if he's still about ikim moero is an excellent player as you've seen in the Clair County team this season and so they have some serious players David Reed CL Herer is a very good footballer as well in around um the the liines for ero Guinness obviously Darren O'Neal I don't know is he still playing for the club I'd imagine he is he's a t of a midfielder for them as well and as well as that kattau in one of their first games of the clar championship I'm trying to look at it now they drew against Andis time and 14 points to 11 so I feel like our Klo up to it that much this season not so sure Arrow G Beast Kil the hill in their one of their first games 318 to Four Points that's a hammering it really is um I think this is a close with the call I think arog ganness is probably safe bet to go with though that's big win to get against Kilby Hill maybe kto can recover because the draw isn't obviously the worst result in the world in it's time and are decent in their own right as well so yeah I feel like er ganus is probably the favorites for this Championship but the fact they didn't win it last year they'll be going to win it this year so I just feel like AR Gus have the Firepower and and the capabilities to get over the line there this season yeah I'm going to go for miltown Malby to get over the line um I think Owen clear like star player there obviously not having played and with the clear footballers obviously this year as well I think he's going to be a key player and it is actually arog ganis who are the favorites so might have maybe mentioned another club there by accident but it is AOG ganis who are the favorites um in clear moving on from that we do have the cork football championship or the cork Premier Football Championship they like to call it little bit more of an ump to it I suppose um looking at it Castle Haven won this last year Nemo Rangers won of the Year previous interesting enough if you look back at my predictions I've actually bizarrely enough gotten my predictions correct with the cork football championship in the last two seasons um and they've been like Against the Grain predictions as well um in many ways but Matthew I'll leave this over to you who's who's going to win the the cor Premier Football Championship or it r Ling about with other championships now but I know I I like to think anyway I know my stuff I do reporting for bit of rewarding obviously for Theo and Southern Star as well so I'd like to think I know a bit about the car championship in general but over the last few seasons it has been three teams it has been Nemo Nemo Rangers Castle 11 s fin bars this season and as Dennis Harley said in the EO podcast during the week it is one team it's Castle a and over the last two results it's gone two rounds in the car Championship now Castle Haven have brushed kilo by six points and they beat same M by 19 points in round two as well that was an absolute slaughtering H Jack Khan scored two5 and from played two games Brian H's done well as well and you look at Mark Collins's slot into his wing back road really really well Conor Khan's been injured in the first two games and he had Castle Haven have nearly ease past two their opposition h Michael Hurley went off injured early on against St Michaels and they've still um did well without him Rory Maguire like they have excellent players Castle La it was about winning the first championship and as soon as they won the car championship and as soon as they won monster and been in that semi-final against bridges in the all irelands they've just brought on to a new whole whole another level um in this in this championship in car and it's fair to say Nemo to be fair to they've won their first two games as well they beat a Rog um if by four points in match day two they also beat um I try to think off the top m h they beat in match they won they beat Bon colleague in match they won um by I think was about more than five points so that was a excellent result for neemo Rangers but the thing is about Neo Rangers and may people may not know this Luke Conley has retired from Club level Intercounty level because of a persistent knee problem so that's a huge loss for Neo Rangers Paul carrian still around at the block that's a big boost for them to have in terms of experience there's one player for NE Rangers that definitely should be watched out for Mark cronin's very good as well but Ross Cary he's Colin cary's son he's done well in the last few games he's H I think six points from play in two games he's been excellent for and he's done well for in in underage grades for cark over the last few seasons and he is definitely a starless in that Neo forward line and is definitely the one to watch in This Club Championship so I think Nemo are probably the second best in the county and this is a surprise I would have probably said the bars before B was even kicked but in match they won they struggle to be Douglas this is a Douglas team that the L two games on the bouncing car and then as I mentioned at the start of the show they lost to malow in one of the shocks of the car Championship so far about 212 to 210 this is a mow team that have done well over the last few seasons reached one quarter final and have been solid enough in the car Championship but this is a mow team also that one recognized Intercounty player at senior level that's maty Taylor in the half back line Shane Merritt is a decent player at Midfield for ballow as well but look when you look at the whole landscape of that ballow team you'd feel like how or the bars lost to them um like 212 to 210 as I mentioned Shawn McDonald's did well in that game but the bars still had Brian Hayes Stephen Sherlock Ian Maguire H Ethan Tumi H William Buckley they some Brant players in that team s finb bars and they still managed to lose that game and the situation for the bars now in the last group game against Valley Rovers they have to win if they draw or lose to Valley Rovers they're out of the car championship by the group stage so that would be one of the shocks of the championship in in all honesty I think but it looks a so far you'd have to go for Castle a to win it and the thing is as well like if Castle hav get out of car I think they're a dangerous team for anybody in Monster and in the all the Beyond as well I think they're a very very good team like you look at the players that they do have Brian Hurley Michael Hurley Conor caran Daman Khan Rory Rory McGuire Jack Khan Shawn Brown um Mark Collins look they have serious players all over the pitch they have different manager though shie Khan's come in instead of James McCarty but shaie Khan has been in the regime with James McCarty over the last few seasons so Castle Haven definitely have a a very good standard to to get it done in car and to get it done in Monster and in the irland as well only Castle aen would be very very hard to stop NE more probably the second in command team to go ahead and stop the but feel like Castle Haven or the team to stop in terms of probably um underdogs and maybe size that would cause a shock here their you have to say so after beating St vinars they are a team that definitely have to be looked at CL Hilty would have been over the last few seasons but they've only drawn one game and lost one out of the last two games they drew carrye Rangers last weekend which was a bad result for cl Hilty in many many standards really um I'll probably go Castle 11 like they're the obvious pick they look at serious F to win the car championship this season I think they're going to be a serious team to beat him monster as well I think they look in serious far at the moment that the beat Michaels like they did last day by 19 points I think they're going to be a serious team to stop and I think Castle a will win the car Championship it's a mystery to me whether they'll win the monster Championship but they're definitely capable of doing so for the second season in the row yeah like I mean it's interesting like what's what's happened to the bars in your opinion because I remember when they obviously won the the core football championship um back in 2021 they obviously came through monster as well um and got as far as the the semi-finals um and I remember after that you were looking at some of the players that they had in I Maguire you obviously had Brian Hayes in there Stephen Sherlock like so many Star players but like what's happened with with the bars in the last couple of seasons like why is it that they haven't been able to kick on and like I remember you even mentioning a couple of years ago that they were outside shouts maybe to go on an all Orland push so what's um what's gone wrong there it's a difficult one to pinpoint because the likes Steven Sherlock have done well in this Championship he scored 211 in two games so it's not necessarily him Ian McGuire scored a point as well and has been coloss a colossal figure in Midfield for the game I watched anyway against Douglas that was live on rbes online the game against mow unfortunately wasn't live on rbbl online I read the report for bario Manley for the eeko to be fair to Barry he explained the game very well on the echo podcast this week as well and I just think but but the body langage what Barry was explaining about the body langage of the Brian roach their new manager coming in h to bar team this season he just looked so kind of disappointed after the game against Malo and it's a difficult one as I mentioned the pinpoint because in the semi-final against Castle Haven they were within two points of beating Castle Haven who went on to win a bunster championship and went on to play bridges in the semi-final as well against Nemo two years ago at the C final they were very very close to beating as well look it's a difficult one really is they're missing Billy Hennessy this year for some strange reason I don't know is he g off the pan completely I don't know is injury and reason for him Sam Ryan I think is an theiles injury has mentioned by the car press as well like that's a big loss around the backline I think he on his day is probably one of car's best defenders at Club level anyway um look it's a difficult one to pinpoint like yeah Paulo Kei their manager over the last few years has left his post but then Jimmy Barry Murphy is coming to the back room team for the poers in the in the off season so look look it's a difficult one to paino and how D regress so so much in many ways like um but maybe maybe the pressure cooker situation might be a good thing against Valley Rovers in the next few weeks but then again like one more mess up and they're out of the championship like it's it's difficult one to pinpoint on how they've regress so much I think main thing as well they have to balance hurling at football I know some players don't do um don't do football and don't do harling and vice versa like Ben Cunningham doesn't do the football Stephen charlock and E McGuire doesn't do the hling but then you have Brian Hayes Eaton Tumi William Buckley who do both so and they're big players of the bars team especially Brian Hayes who's a colossal player around the middle of the park for bars or at full forward as well so um so it's a difficult one to Pino but I think that might be one of the reasons why they're regressing so much in many ways maybe harling a football it's um being a main kind of um Factor over the last few seasons and why the bars are regressing because when you look at neemo Castle Haven Neyo they have a hling in junior a level but obviously that's Junior a premier they got promoted to Premier Junior this year but that's that's fifth year of car earling so that's very very low so all the eggs are into the basket for the football Castle Haven don't have a harling team so all the eggs are into the basket really really 100% for the football other than Dam Khan and car caran and Jack Khan obviously who are bars players coincidentally enough for the harling level so and like the like at Mark Collins Brian Harley Michael Hurley both all play foot ball 100% so I think that might be a main thing for the bars that it's hard to kind of and kind of Juggle Hing in football some clubs do it well other clubs don't the bars have done well over the last few years with us but maybe the energy level of that has maybe caught optim them over the last few seasons and that's why maybe Castle Haven and Ne Rangers have taken up the mantle and have done well over the last few seasons with harling not being a priority for them clubs yeah like I think for my prediction I think I'm going to go with Castle Haven as well I think to to win back to back to back titles as you said they're in flying form Brian Hurley obviously there um who's sort of been a a star player obviously over the last couple of Seasons Nemo Rangers losing Luke connley like that's going to be a massive blow and as you said with the bars maybe the the the split with football hurand there is is maybe affecting them ever so slightly moving on from that we do have the Kerry football championship and interesting enough the Kerry so you have two championships in Kerry H you have the Kerry Club football championship and the county Championship um and the club football championship is true to the final uh so it's Dingle and Dr croes and that final is happening on the 1 of September uh Kroes beat rat Moore in the semi-finals um by a narrow margin of H 210 to 115 and then Dingle beat Ken Mar Shamrocks and I was looking at a match report there just before I started speaking about it and um Dingle actually scored four goals in four minutes very versus um K Shamrock so a bit of a mental game there but they did get over the line so I suppose firstly in regards to the club football championship um who's going to win I mean at least we have a 50% chance of getting this one right definitely definitely so um coincidentally enough I probably would have taught him as said Dingle were going to be the two in a row Victors and then there was kind of the worry at the back of my mind as well because when you looked at the curry Champions uh the next season they all went down over the last two seasons like you look at atin stocks won the championship in the club level and county level coincidentally then went down the next season kenley's won the Club Championship went down the next season we wondered would have happened to Dingle but it just F to kind of an inkling that Dingle have some serious talents and they do have a team that is going to compete in carry as well like Paul gy Dylan Gan is an excellent player and K bambur had did well against K Mar Shamar as well darl Sullivan Billy o' Conor like there are some very good players in the Dingle team and Thomas suiv as well who I think was injured coincidentally for the K Shamar game he might recover for the final so um so like that's another player to add to their to their Arsenal in many ways so um yeah I think Dingle looking very good FAL to go on and win this Championship H Dr cro good results against rapor as well I feel like Dr cro like the go has been missing for them over the last few seasons and then the question mark about them is do they have the the fire power that to to replace the goose like they have Tony Bren they have Keem McMahan who's coming in and underage as well like they have some excellent players from F St in the full back line as well is a very good Captain to have or leader in many ways to have in that team um and Shane morph is a good goalkeeper there for Dr CS as well I feel like in the Club Championship I feel like Dingle would have to uper handled them there was a moment there I watched the end of that came sh Mar and ding game there was a moment in that that you would have felt that Ding were under a lot of pressure that game and Kim Mar sh have some brilliant players like Ste Steven oy and sha OA as well but dinga got over the line there I just feel like they have enough to get over the line this same Championship as well I think dingler cassid Haven could be a rivalry for the ages of monster they they went out us onto the penalty shoo last year I think they could be the monster finalist this year um I don't know what of help my head the draw is for the on in Championship but um I think if they are to be kept apart I think that could be the final pairing between Dingle and Castle aen I think one of them will win once championship at the end so I feel like Dingle will have enough to beat Dr cross in the end yeah I think so as well um and I think obviously the power of both Dylan gayy Paul gainy as you said Tony Broan very good player from a from a Kroes perspective but Dingle to be fair like have been really knocking on the like I obviously won it last season in the final the year previous um so yeah I think I will go with Dingle to get over the line um you do have the county football championship as well and that's very much been dominated by East kry so they've won it four of the last five times and for people who aren't aware and the reason why Kerry have two Club championships uh within their County um they have divisional sides and the main reason for that is just to give every player a chance um to play in a county Championship um and that's why you'll have Junior players playing in these Championship sometimes you'll have intermediate players um and e k are look the the the top dogs um when when it comes to this Championship one of four of the last five times um when you actually go through some of the players that they have they're almost a county team like they've got David Clifford they've got py Clifford in there um like an absolute force to be reckoned with and it's like I suppose with the county Championship because like a lot of these players aren't used to playing together you can get some mad results every now and again um and like interesting enough Austin Stacks they won it two years ago got relegated a year later and they still haven't even come back back yeah um so yeah like you would look at it and think East carry are the favorite but would you be going with anyone else there to be honest no um I think Dingle will probably be the second in command I think Dingle will definitely test East carry all the way H mid kryy you you might question mat don't know what you're talking about mid carry Hammer Dingle last year with Dingle scoring one point for play the thing is with mid carry though they were backb by some of the Midtown Castle M players and Midtown Castle man have now gone up to senior so lost a lot of players M kry so I feel like I feel like it was a situation where the intermediate final as did fosa and um and milto Castle M the winner of that game the division side will will suffer hugely and unfortunately for mry it was Milton Castle main that won it and Milton Castle main players aren't obliged to play in this Championship they aren't allowed to play because been C obviously a senior side if F were to win the intermediate championship last year we wouldn't have seen David Clifford or probably or em line out for East carry this year that would have been a massive loss to them I feel like though now that they've kept those players does nothing stop them I think East car are going to win a six or what is it a fifth championship in six six seasons I think East carry are going to do so and I think they're going to do so by a considerable enough Mar I think dle will probably be the closest to them but I think East carry would get the job done yeah I think so as well like Star sted side um and and I think they will go and get the job done moving on from there the limr football championship then Newcastle West have won this uh the last three years in a row notable player in their ranks is Ian corett their Captain they've got EMT RoR in there as well who uh is a is a county star with the limr side um ad they have been the the closest Challengers they got to the last three finals um and lost all of them they are the last team to win the county Championship order the Newcastle West and that was in 2020 and interesting enough monoline are the last team to win the limr football championship other than Adair or Newcastle West and it's no surprise looking at the odds um it is between either Newcastle West or air but I think most bookmakers are certainly betting for um for Newcastle West to come out on top here probably so yeah it's probably going to be on the outside R is between the de and and Newcastle West obviously like Newcastle West is a brilliant players Al Ian car as well not sure what the situation is with Ken Sheen is he coming back from Australia if he is that's a huge boost to have um like they have some very good players R obviously is one of lr's best players at Intercounty level as well as side I I think Newcastle West will win it no doubt about it but a side to watch actually is Monger at St Paul's they got to the intermediate monster Championship final last year they won the limr intermediate Championship last season I feel like momentum is a big thing they only lost to kill the mat last year who from car who reached the Y final against Pat K last year I think m in POS team to watch I really think so I think momentum is a big thing in club level and I think that could drive a team so far so I think it could be a dark ARS limber Championship this year but it looks like their intermediate explo last season but I feel like it's going to be at the end of the day it's going to be a dare or Newcastle West and I feel like Newcastle West will get over the line I think they have done so in many limber championships over the last few seasons I don't see their run stopping yeah I think so as well like they've and like a lot of the finals have been fairly handy as well like they've come through a lot of them fairly comfortably um and as we saw when Newcastle West like they got to was a Monster final a couple of seasons ago as well like so they've um yeah they they're very very dominant it has to be said in h in limr at the moment moving on to the tiporary uh football championship clone mail commercials are a standout team here um they have the likes of Micky Quinlan H in their ranks who doesn't play with the um with the count side and you've got Jack Kennedy in there who's another player were mentioned Kevin Fat's in the side as well um Lockmore castalon are the only team to win it um in the last five years um and they obviously have the McGrath in there who both play football and hland um whether they'll both be involved playing football or hurand this year I'm not entirely sure um how would you be going for this one again a bit like the limmer football championship probably very hard to go against H Clon Mel here and even look at it they scored six goals in the final last year versus JK Bracken so very hard to to go against them here it is but at the same time and even look at Club results and stuff I kind of lucky to have these Club results just give an eye into these predictions but um you mentioned L more cast were the only side to stopped them in every certain year over the last few seasons in a group Jame game these two sides played against each other and the game was a draw K RS 15 points lck Mar cast 29 so I feel like if the artist be separated in the draw toari I think these two will make the final um like a draw that could to be that's a dangerous result for either side because like it's a new game it's a new slate coming into the final after that um I feel like I'm gonna go for clan Mill just the bat because of the players that they have like Jack Kennedy's a good player to have in that team as well if he does play for them and I'm not sure what the situation is with Jason Lan is he still abroad is he still over in the states is he come back to play for clan m like they have some very good players all over the field you mentioned Micky Quin there like sha o Conor is an excellent footballer for tiari and has been for so many years with the tipar inter County team and for UCC and the cigarets and cup as well at college level um I feel like Cloud milk marshs slightly are favorites but lot more castalon are definitely team to be watched but then again we had this social the car Championship with what separates the L castle and Ne more to say Vin bars maybe it's the same in temp like l l celone or a side of temporary hling it's a difficult kind of a thing to balance both harling and football and that might catch lock more castalon in the end so for that reason I just feel like Clan commercial will get over the line temporary yeah I'm G to go for Clon Mel as well and they they have been very dominant could be lock more castalone like they haven't as you said like they obviously won it back in um a couple of years ago um and and certainly aren't a million miles off but obviously with them obviously being a hurin club as well and and often going very far in the hurin championship um it probably does affect them ever so slightly [ __ ] has a question here do you think the GL that Glenn will retain the all orand or do you think another team will detron them we'll certainly get on to that we will be moving on to uh onto the oluler championship straight after our Waterford Championship prediction so Rak orack have been fairly dominant there in the last um couple of Seasons they beat um the nor in the final last season um it has really been between Rak orack and the nor over the last um couple of years um Jason Curry is standout player there for wrath gormi what are you thinking here I mean our knowledge of Warford football I mean our knowled some will say our knowledge of football in general is few and far between but certainly Waterford football is scraping the barrel here like yeah it doesn't help when um I I've been reading all the results and stuff through the video but Warford is one of two championships that started September along with tone so we have no results to back us up in our opinions whatsoever we have to you know dig deep on this but to be fair to Watford it has been Rock armor with da over the last two seasons and D have been good monst of championships gone by as well um in recent Seasons as well they beat car Carby Rangers in 2016 game that i' remember for a long time because that was kind of embarrassing for car football looking back at us in in many ways um yeah I I feel like this is a tough one to call because um it's been shared really between these two clubs I'm going to go for da different winner rack arm won it last season I think D it's their time to win it this season so I feel like Den will go over the line but then again Den do have a four by water as well and four by water were Ved a relegation playoff in the harling championship in Watford so maybe they want to write those wrongs of the football so I feel like Den will be and you know would be focused on the job at hand to go ahead and win the football in Wat there we go there we go we will give our picks for all the provincial championships um towards the end but um we'll move on to olster then we have the antrum football championship um looking at it last season Aon on caran came out on top they have actually won the um five of the last six titles there um and looking at the odds no surprise that um cargan are very much the favorites um you do have St Bridges coming in there as the second favorites which uh which is interestingly which is interesting enough as well but looking at it there what would you be thinking like again like it's another championship that's a little bit dominant and looking at it there like just to throw a bit of a spanner in the works like St Mary's have got to the last two finals um or two of the last three finals D ly got to the final actually last season um and interesting enough like dun ly obviously would be a predominantly hurin club by most uh by most people and I know our good friend Kevin Kennedy from the ga Sports Tracker app certainly probably the right man to ask about the antrum championship but he's always banging on about like they maybe might be a good L outside bet potentially winning this Championship definitely so and even the back off Kevin's Pines as well in one of the Anum first games as well read score here D L be na at 315 to Five Points that's a serious score to put up and I feel like they'll be a dark horse to win at St Mary I'm assuming you're me St Mary a gallan AR 314 to 39 winners over n Go so I think they'll be definitely up there to win the championship but there's two St Mary isn't there just St Mary a Gino I know if that's how um people distinguish the the Roy mcan's in the Anum team I think there two St Mary I'm I'm not to sure but St Mary Al Allen are really good from the Anum standpoint as well don't L are as well and um even you look at car as he mentioned there they beat St John's the first two3 to8 points so I think it's going to be between those three sides to winers um Shot in the Dark Kevin might know more about it and obviously um our good friend as well Kevin borti from the J M podcast as well might know more than us well he will no more than us let's be honest we we're not gurus and the anre championship whatsoever safe B but probably go for car to win it um they good results against St Johns the last day and I feel like that's will be you know enough for me to pick them as winners but I think dun LA or serious pick to to go for as well that's a serious result they put up the first day out so I think they'll be close but I think caran will eventually get the job done yeah I'm actually going to back dun L to come out on top like when you look at the growth of what they had last year getting to the final um I suppose when you look at some of the football that they're playing as well some brilliant football I think they'll get the job done and I think they'll do it and I think this might be one of them big surprises or big shocks that happens throughout um throughout different championships you have the Arma football championship um obviously the home of the all orand winners um and could we see maybe an allar winner come from arm man the Club Championship as well that's going to be interesting to see cross mcglenn are a side that certainly comes to mind um and there's no surprise obviously there they've won the last two championships um and they certainly are a name in history obviously as well having won the most all orand Club titles um you do have Clan Aaron in there as well and they do have Connor turbet in their ranks um and will certainly be one of the uh one of the picks to go through but obviously with cross mcglenn when you have ran O'Neal or O'Neal Keem m conille in their ranks and don't think I think Aaron Kernan has now rard so I don't think he'll be involved with cross mcglenn um but yeah like it's um it's going to be interesting we do have some other interesting clubs in there like M obviously won it a couple of seasons ago they have Aiden forer within their ranks um so yeah like the ARR football championship I think as a neutral is definitely one of the Championships I think I'm most interested in it definitely is and match they one of the AR Championship I did order did anybody catch this this like TJ car I was reporting on a c game so I didn't see this but cross M lost their first game against CL Neale 213 to 35 so is that an indication that the crossb Glen team are slowing down a bit and the fact that Aaron cordon's out as well is that experience hat around the dress room out of this team as well I look at some of these teams in ARA and I think they could seriously cause damage ARA Harps are a team that I've watched and closely as well when making predictions for this they beat M a b of the first year 412 to 11 B so that's a serious score to pull up and theyve Joe m in their ranks as well the guy that made the block of Paul con right the order of the final so and he had a very good game Accord a friend that I have from direct messages from arar so he could definitely be a player for the ARA Championship to look out for cl Aon you mentioned him de AR as well they beat him look at it here they beat same Peters 13 points to three on the first out as well they could be definitely a team to watch in the Arma championship and definitely Conor T but is some player to have in your um at your disposal for maer lost the first out to Madden two 28 12 points so maybe they might not be up to much this is my first cve ball really prediction here I'm going to go for Aon and I have my reasons for this I'm GNA go for our M senior football championship winners to be St Patrick's kyana and many people will say why I'm telling you why they won the intermediate alland championship last year they beat kill the mat in the final last year on the first day out in the arat champ they beat KY 216 to eight points that's a hammer it really is they beat by 14 points that's a really good result to put up in in an our M Championship not just that they have some very good players coming through the ranks as well Ross McQuillan Jason Duffy aen nent that's the quarter team they look really really good at the moment and I feel like the all ear intermediate win will be kind of the stepping Stone to get them to win the AR senior football championship ARA fans ridicule me all like I'm going to go for a curveball prediction here I'm GNA go St Patrick's Cody Hannah to win the ARA senior football championship W there we go there we go that is definitely um an interesting one right there yeah I think for myself um in terms of a prediction um I'm going to go with um with Clan eron to get over the line there I think with cross mcglenn like I think maybe with the fact that ARA obviously won the all a couple of weeks ago like a lot of them key Lads probably aren't involved um and and probably completely understandably so um like so yeah I'm gonna go with Clan Aon there maybe Connor turb obviously a massive standout player there had an unbelievable year for our ma as well um so yeah I'm gonna go with um with Clan Aon to uh to get over the line um moving on from the ARR football championship we do have the Cav football championship gner have won this in the last two Seasons pretty comfortably as well they'd be Kings Kings Court Stars 515 13 and last year's final they'd be Killy Gary the year before very comfortable as well rammer United they H won the 2021 H title Crosser lock won it in 2020 Castle rahan won it in 2019 so like GAA probably the favorites there or what are you thinking you like to think so but at the first day out they they actually Drew with Kings Court Stars 116 to 213 I think it's going be a tossup between those two those two Club sides in look at from the outside in the C football championship obviously our good friend John McMahon would know more about this than we would but um I'm gonna go for GA again I think they have some very good strong players in that team even though maybe I'll change my the Kings cor Stars I'm not sure do they have Jord Mars in and around them ranks do they Aron I think they have Jord Mars and that so they drew a g in the first day I'm going go King Court starts wi Just J Mars is an excellent player for me then the fact they drew the go on the first out as well and the fact that can get go 213 a serious score to get 60 Minutes as well I think King SC stars are going to be the ones to take this in Cav but G will definitely push them all the way yeah I'm going to go with King's Court as well and as you said like Aden a player of the quality of um of Jordan Morris are having him back in the ranks I think is um is absolutely huge um and yeah like they've they've obviously been there thereabouts over the last couple years they've been a heavily touted team within Cav football as well um so yeah they are going to be my picks coming out of uh coming out of Cav as well looking at the uh Dy G senior football championship then um the last winners in the last couple of seasons have been Nave Connell um who've been able to uh win the competition in the last couple of Seasons they beo dber 116 to 18 as well um in in the final last season St un's won a last in that in 2021 um you do have Kil Karan there as well like who've been sort of a side I've always looked towards um they have the likes of um Patrick mcberty within their ranks um what do you thinking here though I mean NE cnel have come true fairly comfortably um the last couple of seasons are they going to come out on top again do you think not so sure I'm really not so sure because n Quint I think lost her um opening game I have to double check this but St un are definitely a team that I've watched over the last few seasons and have been impressed with them in some games L sh and TG car K car has some excellent players obviously Patty M Bry being the standout he's a very very good player to have in the team and I looked at to the goal yeah s's beat Nave Quinn on the first 113 to 10 points so that may be an indication that na Quinn might not be as good as many people think this season H Glen Willie won the first out as well 14 points to 2 six against clar fola and so they have Michael Murphy in their ranks and Michael Murphy obviously doesn't play Inter County football anymore so maybe he'd be fully fully ready to go for the Dy go senior football championship which is a massive boost to have for any team to have a fully blown Michael Murphy H Shawn mcquin are definitely a team that could cause us Sur prise otin gall's in that team H they beef him Nala Bri buer by 112 to 110 on the first field as well guor beat glun Fina by 12 points in the first out Kar who mentioned beat n n n by 10 points as well it's a tough one for Dy go um I'm gonna go slightly I'm gonna go for K Carter PTY m b is a big player to have on that team I just feel like they'll win it and the fact they got a good result against Nave no the first day out and the fact that Nave Quinn lost by six points to say new of the vers out I think Kil car could be a team to watch in this Championship but Shan mcquin might Dark Horse as well with the lik of G the team but he K might be the ones to take and go there we go there we go um yeah in terms of my prediction I'm going to go for St unin and they have no O'Donnell in there Shane O'Donnell obviously as well um last team to win at utter the ne quinnel as well and so I'm going to go for St UNS to get over the line there looking at the down football championship Kil Q have been the dominant force in the last five years or even beyond that like they've won every County tit other than 2018 since um 2011 and so like it's quite incredible there they've won 1 2 3 four five six seven 8 nine 10 11 they've won 11 of the last 12 County titles um and it hasn't always been playing sail like they've needed extra time they needed penalties to come true games and but looking at Buren who have a whole host of under 20 stars from that team from a couple of years ago like they they are very much coming and like a lot of people back then come true it last year it wasn't the case are kilu two veterans to experience or can there be an upset could this be the year maybe where the uh the strangle hold is broken in the down football championship k a run though Aaron doesn't H Liam Kerr and or mardock play for bur they do think they do yeah so this is an interesting one to predict so I Kil the levels that they've been up on over the last few seasons in down and in the alland series as well well they are serious team to beat with the loss against scottone last year in the quarterfinal in olster might us not the stuffing out of them K players and Conor lvery I'm not sure is he playing this year or was he on the coaching staff for K Kil this season like he's a big player to have um if he is playing but I think this might be a shot prediction to many and but maybe not because Boren have some serious Talent they have some serious talent in that team like Liam Kerr and or Murdoch are Patty Burns also plays for Burne yeah it's another one as well oh a tough one to predict um you know us because of the players that they have Patty Burns as um Killian just mentioned there and dor Murdoch and Liam Kerr I feel like bur could win this I feel like bur could win this and the fact that K who lost in the quarter L allar to scottone last year might have not the stuffing out of that team and maybe we' see the end of an era I feel like Bor might be DET te to win it and down they have some serious talents why not yeah no I think so as well like I backed them to win it last year and they didn't quite get over the line and they were beating quite comfortably in that final as well and you remember that was the final where I think kilku put out a statement was it like before the game to like change the referee or something of that nature um so yeah there always seems to be a bit of um Shenanigans going on in the down football championship but I'm going to go with burn as well they do have Donal O'Hare within their ranks as well um plenty of uh very good young players making the the Breakthrough there so I'm going to go with burn to uh come out on top um moving on from that then um our next County up there um where are we at now I've uh I've lost my uh my train here for Mana we'll go with formana um I had a little map here of all the counties in alphabetical order because I knew I'd forget one so yeah for Mana football championship what are what are we thinking here Jesus this is so F no that you haven't you haven't given me any um I've left you I've left you out the draw here while I get some uh I get some information to be fair der gley they are the the big the big team here um they've obviously won they've won it twice in the last three years you do have a dernie St Josephs who are in there as well and interesting enough ER Gale's bik like they have some bik they have some star players within their ranks I'm fairly certain as well so um who knows der gley they did get to an uler final a couple years ago and they have the molans in that team as well so like yeah Jerry gley seem like a serious team they really do um I think in a skill and Gils have Conor love in that team and we've been banging on about him in the oldstar championship over the last few seasons as well and a few for man of fans was calling me del d foring Conor Lo their best forward even though he was scoring freely for in skill in the Club Championship um yeah it's a tossup isn't Jerry gley and a Skilling or G blee obiously I only know how to pronounce believe because I've passed there before on holiday so there you go um yeah I'll probably go for Jerry gley like the bolians seem to be a good bunch of players there and I feel like they'll get over the 9 in but I think in skin GS with Conor love up front I think they might be the team to um to trat Derek gley and to the for title but going to go for Derry gley to go ahead and win it yeah I think I'm going to go with Derry gley as well like they do have conell Jones within their ranks as well um and the Jon's Brothers um of of der gley their own Jones Brothers um sort of version in there so yeah I think I'm going to go with them to uh to come out on top as well uh Gavin says here Andis and Gaal continue their great year with X player getting nip switch from League one to the Premier League and they had training with uh with all you show speed yeah it's true like GE they've got a lot of things right this year it could be a sign of things to come that maybe you would chap in mind in a skill game to win speed Kier McKenna up front yeah yeah and Kier McKenna if k m might bring the of Liam D over there to to and Gillan and the of Calvin Phillips and Samy SMX that would be not a bad show whatsoever but uh no I'm gonna go for Derry Gandy I'm GNA stick with prediction though I said it before yeah I'm gonna go for Derry gley to win B the skill and as you said it might be a sign things to come there there we go there we go moving on to the Der senior football championship I am going to back Derry gelly by the way to to get over the line in in fir Mana with the Derry football championship slot Neil Wy Gres Glenn um it's surely going to be one one of them to or is there a chance maybe that someone else can cause a shock and but like when you look at recent finals recent meetings like it it's very very close and Glenn have obviously got stars to of players like Conor glass Emma Bradley's in there um you look at slot Neil and we've got Shane MC wig and Brandon Rogers so I mean it's it's some rivalry between them two and very very hard to to call as you said slot n beating Glen already in the in the group stages of the championship early on um but what are we thinking here could there be could there be any surprises or shocks for any of the fairy tale goers no no I don't think so I think it's going to be wat GS L shot NE to contest the Derry championship and what's good for Derry as well as well is whoever comes out of this Derry Championship I in has a serious chance of the all olster first obviously and then the all Championship because you look at the players on all site schne have Brendan Rogers Chrissy M Shane mcgan in their team Ker's a decent footballer he's a probably more recognized for playing harling but he's a very good footballer as well in that team Wy gmes L of eaten doerty Conor glass Kieran McFall they're serious player Conor moken some serious players un Mand are very good players Mal RoR there as manager as well shotly be Ro GES G the first out though and they followed up with a hammering against um forget the team off the top of my head no they beat it and they beat the team out the gate whereas W Grims then only beat b 10 points to eight I feel like maybe wat Grim Lane might be tired that might be a kind of a a symol that they might be tired in this St Championship I'm seeing the result now in the schot game yeah they beat swart won 22 to8 points so that's a serious result to put up that 17 points over um a team in Derry in the Der senior football championship so many people in Derry might ridicu be for this prediction but I think but it looks at the results so far and the fact that schlot Neil had beaten W gmes Lan and the fact that have Shane MCG and Brendan Rogers and chrisy MC in their ranks I feel like schlot NE are in serious FAL to win the dairy Championship this year might be a shock to some people because of wat G Lane and their achievements last season but given what gra G's results so far in the championship I feel like it has the looks of a tire team and I think schne might have the the upper hand on Len this season yeah yeah I'm going to go for Glenn I think they're they're going to stick with the the oldstar championship they've had the better of slot NE in the last couple years they've been able to find a way to get over the line um and I think they they're still a series team and I know a lot of people might back against them because of maybe how things went at the end of the or for der like with glass and everything else maybe some big players under performing um but I I think Glenn are going to get back on top in the dairy football championship um and look it will be between one of Glenn or slot look maybe there might be another club in there that can cause a big surprise um but yeah I'm going to go for uh for what he GRS Glenn to come out on top looking at the monan football championship scottstown won that last season um beating inish G in the final B Bay um are the only side in the last um four years to win it other than scottown and that was in 2022 and you'll remember obviously B Bay went on to be cross mcglenn and just a couple of weeks later like looking at some of the players within the scottown team you've got Jack McCarron Rory Bean Conor McCarthy Shane K's in there Darren Hughes I mean it's a monstrous team really and especially since they added Jack McCarron in there last season as well so very very hard to look past anything other than scottown winning this title yeah the players that they have it's absolutely incredible to behold Conor McCarty as you mentioned there Jack McCarron Rory beggan back in full form as well yeah it's going to be difficult to stop them isn't it I'm not sure what the injury situation is on Darren Hughes he got a serious injury against Cav I'm not sure will he be back by the end of the season H Kieran Hughes obviously has a blade County football for Manan he's a serious player to have in that team as well shank ha is a very good player obviously inter County standard player I think if anybody was to stop Scot Stone in the mon Championship it would be a shock honestly it would be a shock because Scott Stone would be oing the older championship and they got to the final last year against water Glenn and competed very well to be fa the be kill C on the on the way to that final as well de beak tril as well from teron we'll mention the teron championship as well two very good sides obviously on their way to the uler final and tested w g l all the way if anybody stops Scott Stone it'll be a shock Scott Stone to win this I think it could be easy enough yeah I think so as well like they've got a serious serious team and they might maybe just be an outside show potentially going on a very very good all orand run um looking after that then you have the teron senior football championship and uh for those of you who don't know the thr senior Football Championship it's straight knockout um so they do their Championship a little bit differently um and it's had like a whole host of different winners over the last um couple years I think trck broke the street where I think there was 10 different winners across the last 10 seasons um like you had Eric Kieran winning it in 22 trck won it in 23 drore D Ganan Cole oand Omar St endes KY clogger like so many different teams coming uh coming out on top um Eric goiran like they were backed very very heavily to win it last season they didn't come out on top they do have the canans in there Rory canovan Dar canovan um you do have a lot of mad predictions in this championship though so what would you what would you be going for here again this is a difficult Championship to predict and this Championship won't start until September one of two championships that won't do so along with wford as I mentioned at the start of the video here the draw has been made though um and just for context for listeners Eric Kon are up against pomoy in the first round you'd imagine Eric Kon will beat them straight knockout I think they will get the job done in that trer up against eish now eish have some decent young Luke Donley is a decent young player that I've heard about in in the English H panel for um for them in the toron championship that might be a tricky assignment but I feel like tril will have enough to get over the line then d g Thomas clar we mentioned him obviously Duran cord winning the toron championship they up against donam Mo on in the first round you'd imagine don't G should have enough to get over the line as well like they still have Paul Don who was frozen out the throw team obviously is a very good forward in that team Co they up against um clo in the first round I think Co should get over the line drore up against Carrick Moore I think that could be tie of the round there H I think drore could get over the line there as well um I'm looking for Eden dark are they intermediate I wonder H Eden dark oh no Ed darker playing AR ball in the first round that's a decent game as well Eden dark if they lik n Morgan and their team um there um even look at the I have a program right in front of me of the toron team obious they play car as well in the alland series a lot of them players like there's not one club that stands out as well um you could say like eatan dark is n Morgan Eric Kon have Peter Hart they have Rory canovan they have Dar Hanan tril have Shan O'Donnell they have Matthew Matty Donley um in dark also Ben Cullen who is a very good player as shown this year TR also of Kieran Dy who did very well this season Eden dark also have Darren murri so maybe Eden dark could be um close B to go on and win it um yeah this is a tough one to predict um even though Cole irand actually have the full backline of teron the whole full backline Michael mcar and py hapsy and N develin so they could be a good defensive side to look at and predicted the thr Championship as well by the looks of the pro like it's such a difficult one to predict because we seen with history and with matches and stats and and and clubes the players play for as well this is such a difficult Championship to predict and maybe teron just love it this way with the straight knock it's just a brilliant championship and it's one that the neutrals keep an eye on because it's such a hard one to predict this is a this is really a tough one I could pick between I'd say four clubs here in my opinion AR I'd say tril Eric Kon Eden dark or Cole Island I think it's one of them four that's going to win it this is a tough one to predict um you know what I'm going to go defensive football and ton will win the day I'm G look go call Island winners the whole full backline is in the teron team in Michael ban and Patty py hansy and no develin and they're three athletic players as well Eden D could be a good bet Eden D no Morgan Ben col and dar McCurry this are good players defensively and offensively as well and then you have to look a tril and oh Jesus this is difficult one to call you know what because of the balance that they do have final prediction Eden dark to Win It N Morgan Dar McCurry Ben Cen I think it will be enough to get over l in this ton championship in my opinion so yeah I'm going to go for it I'm going to go Eed dark to win the teron championship there we go there we go I'm going to go for Eric liran I'm going to go for attack and football to Prevail no Morgan DK canovan or not no Morgan you can tell we've been on for nearly two hours DK canovan Rory canovan the canovan brothers is actually a canovan trio on that side as well um so I'm going to go for them to uh to come out on top and get the job done moving on to kuk then gway Football Championship uh cor fin won this last season um but I'm going to throw it out there I think Sal Hill no Nara are going to come out on top in the goway football championship and the reason being if you look at some of their the players that they have um a lot of younger a lot of the younger players like they've got Koh Sweeney they've got Tom oan and they've got John Maron there Rob finer also in the side Daniel FL is a very good player as well um so yeah I'm going to go with uh Sal Hill KN Nara to I suppose upset the odds a little bit and win the goway football championship what are you thinking definitely a good B because in the first round they beat M mellu moock by nine points to seven and was a very good result for them to take obviously carine my cing only won narrowly so on the first day out I'm trying to see who they de beat D more M by last minute goal um according to was the score anyway so so like that was a that was a get out of jail card for Mike hen in that game um Carin looking looked to be a decent S I think Sal not the car when you I think I might go for them as well Aron you might have course me into it because John Mar has been one of the players at season this season Rob VY has been in excellent environment scoring for gby this year as well you have Daniel FL who a very good player for gby to come on K swed is an excellent player Tomo Khan like have Tomo Khan and Robert fery in the forward line as well I think that might be an out B I'm GNA go Sal not the car to winers as well and the fact they beat a decent s b mon in the first out as well I think there'll be a serious B I think it will be salty lar to win the go Championship Mike H didn't start well my bil might in CF did but they got a narrow win I feel like Sal nakar will get the job done in G there we go there we go moving on to the leum football championship there's been three different winners in the last three years mohill won it in 23 St Mary's Kil hoger won it in 22 and balamore sha o hland won it in h in 2021 and and interesting enough in the last six years there's been five different winners um so the leum football championship is a very very competitive Kean had a comment here earlier mohill are in po position in the leum conic gold senior football championship they did well last year winning the Le leum championship and in the conic Championship too hot favorites um yeah like looking at it there like they have Keith burn obviously in their ranks who's a star player Jordan Reynolds is in there as well um yeah like it's very very hard to uh to look past Mill um what would you be thinking here mohill did be think her Manor in the last game 116 to6 and that was an excellent result obviously I have a slight inkling though and I've said it before on the Chann for ban the more Shan they beat drum hair in the last game nine goals and 9 BS to Five Points wow that's that is just that's like almost happened there I don't know Le from fans Keen comment if you're still in the chat here but drum hair look I remember celebrity B aore if memory serves me greatly they're decent enough club they're historic enough club by my regulation anyway and to lose that game by nine goals and 19 points to Five Points like what on Art like I I think bandore have decent players at the same time though they have some very good players and they won the lead Championship three seasons ago as well M have some good players obviously keep burn X and forward for for the Le from Senior Team and also you and fena S cin who have theed Ryan Ro at their team as well so Le could be very interesting to predict this season I think I'm going to go for it I'm going to go for B War Shan hesel to win it I think they're scoring freely they're looking good in this Championship already and to put up that score nine goals and 1990 points in any game of football in 60 minutes is absolutely ridiculous so I feel like B leore will have enough to win the lead championship this season there we go there we go um yeah I think I'm going to go I'm going to stick with my original I'm going to stick with mohill I think I think they will be too strong to to get over the line keep bur hasn't been playing regularly for leum as well so I be be curious to know if he's playing um regularly with uh with mohill but uh but there we are moving on to the Mayo football championship this was one last season by balas Sten kns um in a very entertaining final six points to four versus bravey um you did have Westport who won this in 22 NOC Moore won it in 21 and 20 um it feels like a little like even looking at a lot of teams who've got to the final like bra have got to the final on a couple of occasions B rain have been there as well Bel mullet obviously with Ryo Don who um got to the final in uh in 2020 um so yeah um like very much up in the air to Mayo football championship Westport have got some Stars obviously in their in their ranks as we very well know as well what would you be uh thinking here this might be a boring enough prediction but looking at the results in the first run back last Steve Knights beat May G by 11 points 20 points to nine to score 20 points in 60 minutes is really really good um you look at other teams in there Castle Bar Mitchells be charlestone or they drew against charlestone that's not really a good result for them Westport could be up there as well with Lee heagan in the team they beat Bal in the first a 14 points to 12 and they won the M senior football championship a few seasons ago as well Brey or the nearly man every season we predict bravy to win the championship and they never do so like have a no there you have mat ran there you have Sheamus o there and you have Rob Henley I know Rob Henley actually got the Rini May Serv correctly but but they still have some excellent players on that team but they never managed to get over the line the mail um I think U Ryo D who's Team B Mullis I think they drew in the first out as well in the mayor senior football championship so would they be a good pick or they lost of the first deal to Clair mors 21 points to 213 so maybe not so not more loss of the first y to balarin as well 110 to One n balarin could be a good bet as well and the fact that John Mani passed away early on the year a Bine man and they wore obviously a commemorative shirts of the first yeld against notore as well could it be written of the stars or Bine to get over the line in mail we have to see could be could be a decent bet there I this might be a boring prediction but good to go for B last Ste nights to win it they look probably the best team in the May championship last year and so far this season they look like the side in the M Championship so I'm going to go for B to win it yeah I'm going to go for bravy I think they're going to do it this time I think they're going to get over the line I think they've been they've never won the Mayo football championship in their history as well the senior Championship which is an extraordinary um extraordinary statistic given the players that they have but I think this is the year where they H break the mold the roscoman football championship St Bridget won that last year strokestown won it in 22 um St Bridget's obviously with the likes of Ben o Caroll within their ranks very very very hard to go against them and they're probably going to be one of the um outside favorites or maybe one of the favorites for for all orand exactly so and um yeah they have serious and players on that team obviously like Shane Canan for example Ben o Carl Bobby Newton get Brian durman they have some excellent theirs in that forward line and there I see them in the fleshing against Castle Haven last year looked a very very good team very well balanced and they nearly beat wat GS Lane last year as well I think it go without saying they'll win against in in Ros common yes there are so good so I think Bo should be up there with the likes of dony Smith Ender Smith DK Craig if he's still around I still think Bo will be up there to win Ros com surely but I think say Bridgets is the safe bit and I think they could be up there to win the all as well I think for St Bridges the question mark isn't will they get over the line Ross common will they get over the line in CW Park is going to be the question for St Bridges this year there we go know yeah I think you know I'm going to go against the grain a little bit I'm going to go for Bo to get over the line they got to the last two finals narrowly lost out as well um it's been a long long time since Bo won this as well I can't remember the exact year but I know it has been um donkey's year since they last won it they have end the Smith and within their ranks is obviously a key player um and I think they're going to do it and it's a bit of a an outside shock obviously betting against Bridgets but that is what I'm going to do two championships then to finish up with both SLO and London um sloo Kera strand Hill won it last season turler strand were very very much dominant at the dominant Force there from 2016 up until 22 and then in London um I suppose our knowledge obviously in London the London football championship's going to be um you know definitely scraping at the bottom of the barrel here but fulam Irish won it last season and they got to um the last three finals St kernan's won it in 21 and 22 in terms of my picks for the slgo championship I'm going to go for turle strand to get back on top and in London I'm going to go for St Kieran to get back on top what are you going with different predictions in my opinion for London first of all I just put this out of the way full of myish I don't know much about the London Championship I just feel like full of myish Might Get Over The Line it's a cool name be fair is it's a great club name it is actually it's one of my favorite GA names it really is just because of you know Fulham and soccer and all that I just I just love that name I really do and yeah I'm going to go for full of myish just because because I don't know much about the London championship as for sliger T stran you're saying they lost the first out by 10 points against Sam Marys wow okay so I feel like this is same Mar is to lose they Eli Rooney in very good form Eli Rooney is a good underage player at schools level for slgo and at underage level as well he could be definitely a player to watch in the slgo senior football championship in my opinion so I'm going for Sam marus to win it that was a big win to get against Turles stran and I feel like that momentum will get them over the line the SLO Championship I think to strands day as the Dominator are surely over like 10 points that's a hammering yeah yeah that that is quite the hammer I'm going to stick with it anyway though I'm locked in locked all the way in um so there we go that's every Championship predicted um now we'll go for the for the big one Matthew before we finish up give me your four provincial winners and your all or winner right monster Castle Heaven I feel like this is a year where they're gonna put the foot in the accelerator lster I think H mot I can't see anything different conu St Bridget again can't see anything different Sal and car are really put up some the olster shot Neil I think they're a serious Team all Ireland I'm trying to do what in my hate now who's meeting who because it was TR I think yeah it's monster against olster year so it'll be schlot Neil against Castle aen schlot NE will win that Kim mot against St Bridget St Bridget will win that the final St Bridget against Lot Neil St Bridget I'm I'm G to say the the thing about losing finalist will keep on going I think s Bridges will get their hands on the allar title there we go is it monster versus laner did you say no no it's monster versus olster I think because because two years ago Kier R against Kim that's part of my M anyway there we go um so I've definitely got some uh some bold predictions in here so in lster I'm going for an ace um I think they're going to come out on top I think nfina are not GNA have what it takes to to come through uh to come true lster in olster I'm actually going to go for scottown um I think they have a a serious team I think they've been building I think last year was the first time really that we saw them go on a on on a run um with within the oler championship in con I'm going to go for Salt Hill knock Nara to to come out there and in monster I'm going to go for uh for Castle Haven and as you said and would have been monster versus olster H GNA go for scottown to get over the line there gonna go for Salt Hill to come out on top um in the other semi-final versus nce and then I'm going to go with scottown to win the uh to win the all Orleans so there we go for any monan club fans or any scottown fans watching there you go um there's a a Monahan all oron winner right there um
