grand final day is the fuel to go play third grade from here at Dorian Gardens between the Willie Bears and The freem manal Roosters I'm Donnie Bill joined by Ed EA thanks for having me Don it's good to be back um third grade Grand finals my second year in a row I'm supposed to be trying to play in it but um fell fell over at playoffs this year so I'm back here with you and hopefully have some wisdom on both these teams cuz they both both beat us convincing well two very good teams but uh second and third at the end of the regular season the the mandra storm bounced out in in straight set so not able to feature on Grand final day it should be a fantastic contest because the the Bears well the Bears is not moniker is all the r in wa at the minute yeah this is the originals so so they've had a very good season a consistent season I think early on people were expecting fro to be the minor Premier so it's definitely no surprise to me that they've come from third position and made it to today absolutely well referee James magio in charge Russell Ferguson and Bailey Lawrence your touch judges the Willie Bears about ready to get us underway that is the start the Fielder G play third grade Grand Final a good strong run from Pho straight up from the roosters and great first Contact the crowd enjoyed that just watch fro often attack into the A and B Defender they will keep it tight and just run hard um back in there jool yeah that's that was our experience for most of the game and they definitely good good go forward as a team couple of big front rowers looking to punch through the middle as they got the first little shift down to the right hand side as we get our first bit of rain for the day they come back towards the middle of the field in this first set looking to put the ball through the hands and into the back field fullback to beat the sliding cover defense gets across there on ripo now out the back on the last going right to the line there is Thompson will find the grass with the kick Willi will do well to stay in the field to play and TOA does exactly that as first sets go I don't think a coach would ask his team for anything better other than scoring a try there by fre outstanding a fantastic start from freem manal and Willie having to work it Off Their Own Line having some difficulty in these first couple of plays they're just up to the 20 M line with a nice run out of dummy half probably a good option going down the short side Mutu standing in the tackle not going to pop the pass though still going to be a kick from Deep that's going to be from inside their 30 allowed to bounce it'ss up and the roosters is first tackle will be inside the Bears half and that's a good kick return they get up to the 40 m line there with Ricky day be disappointed with that kick Chase there need needed a Chase just to get him um back in the opposition half to give him a bit of a chance so great situation for Freo now just came off the mark there Leota sent back phow charging well into Bear's territory ball out in two hands holds it out decides to take them on there good s now Foster looking to find just a way straight [Music] through do have numbers on the right here on tackle five they're going to put it through their hands short pass I don't know whether going to fillow on the final play I don't know that he knows it's the last that'll be the hand over well back there defense now um still a good place to finish your set Willi struggled with that last one it's course it's been an interesting final Series in the the third grade competition all very low-scoring games hasn't been a lot of points as that Willi get the penalty slightly different conditions been very wet the first couple of weeks of finals that's right we've had some mud baths as well which has made it a forwards orientated game this door end track is notoriously fast even when it is raining so that there's been good shape and they have shifted it a couple of times for which I wasn't expecting this early on um but then that might be the conditions they made that decision not going for touch certainly a bit of Breeze about should get the odd shower through the day but hopefully nothing that sets in and is quite as bad as the the first CP rounds of finals it's Willi just trying to get some sort of territory really haven't been able to get out of their own end at all in these opening four minutes and a little bit too long in that tackle backto back penalties really piggybacking the Bears into a decent spot quick tap oh you don't want to fall over over after the quick tap s Millie plays the ball back to White now the Bears lovely timing on that pass off the rock there was easy meters for willig if they can keep rolling that way played it 3 maybe he knocked down six more tackles marker got out slapped at the ball so get another set so they look to set something up it's always going to go from dummy half there [Music] G right catch that one now tamaru yeah he comes up with the error little bit one out all parts of those sets the Freo mistakes were keeping them in it but yeah it was a bit bit one out and he definitely got targeted by three players there loose carry because these two teams only uh only met once during the regular season didn't meet in finals either and uh Willi 186 winners the only time they they did come up against each other interesting result that I know form wise people weren't expecting it so um I think mentally that might be very useful for Willi today gives us an indication that uh shouldn't expect there to be too too much between these teams was say just purely speaking from my uh experience playing against both sides a very different sides Willi were a very well disciplined team they played good territory and just ground us down um defensively they were quite impressive he something couldn't get a roll on 3 definitely Target our ab and around the Rock and just steamrolled us um and then shifted it when it was easy space so but as we've seen today they did give away a lot of penalties and drop ball as well so the penalties have been coming already um Grand finals discipline's important so it'll be interesting to see if they can keep that down from now and then dominate a bit more in this field position here they go now once again powering into a good spot on tackle five so into the red zone for the kick comes back to Thompson who's going to look to put it through the hands they got some numbers here and it ended up with the wrong man Leota just decided to try and charge over the top but he had three on two outside he did it was uh football-wise I think it was a bad decision but I'm not going to take away from the superb contact made in that tackle then it was obviously a try saer but that was outstanding contact UM and the ball was lost on contact as well was a big all in well looks shaky there maybe leg injury or a or a head injury yeah it looks like a wobble to me there may be some illegal contact there from up here air spot it looked okay to me not sure referee's looking any deeper into it no holding isn't there you're right Don is certainly a bit of a bit of a blow they do look to to Leo to for that power game that you you talked about Ed he does often set the tone especially off kickoffs early in the set so yeah maybe it's just a Corky might be able to run it off hopefully it's nothing too serious seems to be getting uh as he gets closer to the sideline putting a bit more weight on it so hopefully we will see him back later on if you can come back he will It's a grand final that's for sure yeah adrenaline will get you through these games sometimes see if Willi can roll forward with a few more numbers instead of this one out stuff feel like it's definitely not working out for him at the moment first run of the new set quick play the ball tring to step inside the marker cross the chest quick run out of dummy half from Noah white not a lot of meters there looking to use the ball probably the first time we've seen them do this they go out space out wide nice little move put on was good so with an important tackle up around the halfway line some good confidence inside their own 30 willery trying to change it see if this kick Chase could be a bit of improvement from the last one rolling end over end the short in goals you think that's going to struggle to stay in that nearly landed in the High Park Hotel don't well I'm sure there'll be a few people Landing the hi Park Hotel a bit later [Music] on the seven tackle set now for the roosters still n all on the cash converted scoreboard Lang just on he's a bit of a like for like substitution for leot runs hard runs good lines [Music] and good so holds the ball in two hands great contact on day bounces straight to his feet langri up to the halfway line good s's going to put that one into a dangerous spot looking to find grass the bounce important it's not favorable for the roosters over the sideline it's nice to see a um kick that can be challenged there instead of just do for the safe option that will possibly keep the Winger up a little bit more in the next few sets and they have there has been a lot of space out on this fro left hand side so sure there's some nerves there from Willi at the moment going to keep probing there will and we'll start in somewhat decent field position a good carry there up to the halfway line that's better with throwing a numbers in them around the rock Davis Maxwell crept up a little high referee touches the shoulder to say that he's happy with it now the Bears out again here with alent to they come back towards the middle on tackle five looking for a kick just rolling one in behind good Chase coming through and under some pressure but in front of the kicker something off the ball yeah it's a uh wiy penalty right in front I know it's third grade but you take the two they seem to be one and two but I think they haven't been down here so they should just keep rolling so not my preference but that might be why I'm stood up here with you not F Grand final day and and we mentioned throughout the final series like qualifying final Willi 126 over mandra elimination final freem manal 126 over Ellen Brook preim was 1243 over over mandra so there hasn't been a lot of points points have been at a premium I think that says a bit about the um Willie discipline um the defense is good but their discipline you just never we didn't get a lot of green zone stuff against them so it's hard to get close to their line and when you do go there they're pretty good so I guess if they just keep the scoreboard ticking they can back their defense very good kick very good kick and Chase there they they they definitely earned that penalty there I think from right in front raise the flags and uh it feels like Foo have been on top but uh they're going to concede first points down two points to nil on the cash converted scoreboard 13 minutes gone name that you uh you pointed out on on the list you you actually highlighted him in the in the pregame Jordan Jacob um hasn't hasn't been sided yet is he is he over on the bench Can you see him anywhere I'm having a look I can't see him he's definitely the danger player um from the games I've watched these guys and played against so if he's out it's definitely a big he's a big Miss for them he's usually playing on the right hand side side as well so maybe he's running late maybe you are come in for the second half have a big impact how got the first points now it's the first Carry isn't getting a little bit of footwork at the line a big is working up towards the halfway so important particularly after a penalty goal I think to complete the set and they go straight through looks inside gears there the pass is not good enough it's knocked on eventually there by the Bears the pass called forward anyway well a great bit of play there from Ethan S Milly but uh couldn't ice it I the Freo fullback did a good job he held them off and made them make the decision just too many options I think was what caused the problem there but on that worryingly easy line break there it didn't look like he really broke a tackle it look like he ran straight through so um definitely something needs fix in there for 3o that should be [Music] happening yes it's the the old old adage of course is the most dangerous man's a bloke with the ball in his hands can't be worrying about the BLS outside him if you don't take care of him no one took ownership there in the freem manal defensive line he sliced straight through with [Music] ease for manal they survive with the scrum feed well that to pass off the ground and uh perhaps a rugby union background there possibly we'll put it down to that I think it's a fair penalty as well I know there's a the game got a little bit more complicated around the I didn't hear Co held but that was uh he definitely been tackled it was a really good tackle off the off the block play from off a scrum good legs [Music] tackle argued the decision he's maybe gone on a bit too long here because James Mago called him out for a second chat maybe a Stern warning about uh where the line is may have been a bit of gamesmanship from the fre captain there just to stop the quick tap happening well the Bears they don't look for the one point that time Smith Sid's on now charging towards the line looking to go straight through the middle foo's defense holds up going to say and an intercept was on side according to the referee and freem man all well that's a that's one way to stop stop them from scoring straight through and now into the back field they go looking to go end to end sunborn plays the ball as they come towards the middle again the short passing gets them up to the halfway line another 10 m run so a good set of six markers dummy half takes advantage of that straight away get takes the 10 m on offer and then finds a runner to get another five on top of that on the final play Work Down the short side good s ball put down by Los and not he's got a penalty on the final play Mark is not Square coach killer for Willi there they sort of looked a bit shocked after that interception it was a poor defensive set generally and then they got away with with that 30 drop ball 30 survive great opportunity here for them look to go through the [Applause] middle petti vahi has the first Carry oh second one they're not too far away from the line V here again trying to borrow in underneath four man overlap now on the left if they can execute this should be in holds it gets it out wide tried to hit the Winger wo couldn't catch up with it and it goes into touch the key word you said there you've got to execute it right they did not again that might be an element of too many options um I think simplified hands might have helped there they probably had too much shape where hands would have just done well both teams have had had chances it's it's been that that last pass it hasn't stuck so far so no tries 18 and 1/2 gone it's will leading two points to nil on the cash converted scoreboard be a strong run well as you said going one out they haven't been able to pick up any territory they they've been getting out of their own End by starting to use the ball a little bit [Music] one that came off The Back Fence trying to hit that one on the ad line the kick will come from just inside the 40 drives it in low that's a 4020 there hits it that's a big play that will put the Bears right on the [Music] attack well you said he's got a good boot no quick tap from a 4020 Gerald gar after Shad gear got the 4020 a response from fro here under the pump again similar to the last time obviously they got out of there pretty easy after the Great Line speed I think I need plenty of it here as well all right few players just sort of missed their assignments there it ends up with lasty [Music] still confident this left side's on they go to that left side the ball I think that might have caught caught a touch from freem man still in is it and they've got the ball it have stayed in and that'll be was no no signal for six again so there was no touch from Freeman so lucky to still have the ball what gets dummy half looking for his options goes out the back Lusty kicking across field looks like way too much on it goes over the fence on the fall and again execution not quite there well I think maybe be an argument for Willi particularly there to just maybe simplify what their shape is just punch at them a bit more cuz they definitely have the momentum and fre have been dropping off some tackles there's a lot of bodies in motions and long balls and uh they're not working I don't know if the wind's as bad down there as it is up here but um throwing these big floaters def is more challenging in this week so shorten up those passes a bit if they could just be more direct [Music] absolutely always key to play to the conditions moment neither team really able to to do that the roosters getting up to the halfway line from this seven tackle set come towards the middle now with prance who's put down it's a good sell kick going in behind kick sits there nicely dangerously Willi do well to clean that [Music] up not a bad seven tackle set that by um Foo just kept it simple and um took it to the line was that a mouse trap that was a mouse trap that nobody knew about no a slight delay on it it looked more like he went into dummy half and decided he didn't actually want to be there just ran away nice pass bit of second phase but a good shot at the end of [Music] it still a good play the ball hit the front foot poor line speed from Freo there have to start ringing the subs this set oh there's a kick that sits up bears have ended up with it but uh I don't know that he knew that was on at all there's more Shin than foot in that kick um sometimes those things come off but not quite this time it's a bit hit Miss willig it's roxon diamonds isn't it the Willi kicking game at the moment it it has been this obviously the 4020 was the the Diamond but uh certainly been a few lumps of [Music] coal so Roose just trying to power forward but uh running into some very big bodies and Goodell kicking early in the count it's not from inside the 40 though so but there is a good Chase and having to get across that's a smart set by Freo there I think Luke Pollock is is back at fullback at the moment so I don't know what's happened to uh T sh he's still out there but maybe he's moved into the halves here he goes again just tried to force that pass out to the Winger wasn't really on that would have been a a speculative one for a Grand Final in your own half when you're 2-0 up it's been a uh fascinating first half skills haven't been the best from either team the finishing has lacked a bit but 2-0 it's [Music] tense The Roosters good contact in the middle there the big big boys fighting there on the ground now they look to to punch into the Red Zone good sill goes out the back a chance Brewing but the sliding cover defense gets out of a tackle gets out of two good run from sunborn [Music] [Applause] play it back to Foster goes across a face of one again just trying to power over the line on tackle five can they put a Finishing Touch on it the pass goes straight to the Winger Dives in low and I think he's going to be short of the line we'll hand this out hand this over 30 cm from the tri line here comes a tough carry who wants it the [Music] h [Music] hold [Music] off the lane [Music] go [Music] [Music] up yeah we're on here we're on [Music] here up [Music] now the [Music] Bas 40 out from the roosters line wh's lost the head gears they put a little kick in behind again the fullback if you had had a bit more width on it might have been dangerous but uh I know the time's short but I just thought that was wasn't wasn't needed at that point I mean even a good kick there I don't think it was really on they could have kept rolling forward for a bit get a bit deeper into their tackle count the roosters now get a penalty to help them out of their own end do they have a trick shot here before halftime I wouldn't rule it out Donnie the way this game's going going they've looked to do two to three pass shift to this left their left side on a fair few sets now so there's two settlers the shape looks okay to set something up they're fairly flat on this right hand side there's a slow play of the ball as well probably took the right option [Music] there had a good s dummies goes straight through just beat his opposite number looks inside pass around the corner hits the deck there's still plenty of roosters they all say yours that pass floats out and here's still a chance for the roosters as the siren sounds and they go to ground there Ricky day takes the tackle and we've got a remarkable score line at halim Ed it is two points to nil in favor of the Bears uh relevant score for the soccer ground for sure me um and I'll uh I'll definitely I'll eat Humble Pie on the whether they should have gone for the two or not cuz that's all there is so far definitely a good decision we if that ends up the full-time score then that it's a remarkable decision but uh well at half time no tries in the first half of the Fiel to go and play third grade Grand Final just the penalty goal for the willig G bears and they lead 2-n take a break from Dorian Gardens be back with the second half shortly [Music] he [Music] n willery Bears and The freem manle Roosters we've got the unlikely score line of the Bears leading 2-0 where where does the first try come from Ed oh someone who doesn't throw a long ball I'm it's going to I feel like it's going to come off a short ball um or the wind's going to stop and what they're trying to do is going to actually start working um say error errors and discipline are just leading to all the territory as opposed to great great attacking discipline sets from either side um you probably know the two coaches a little little better than than I do Andrew Cameron Conrad bmia which which uh which coach is more likely to to give that message um say freo's discipline has been poor it's not just with the ball they giving away a few penalties there that's an easy fix so as a coach you you'd want to push that just fix the things you you have complete control over those situations so I think Andrew would definitely be pushing that angle um willig generally been fairly well disciplined they've just had a few two turnovers in their own 40 where they've thrown probably a silly pass other than that I think they'd be fairly happy I mean it's 2-0 but they'd be the happiest from that first half well any leads a good lead will with first use in this second half busting through and getting the pass around the corner and into the back field goes Lusty Lusty takes on the fullback STS can't get the pass away hore was there with him decides to hold on to it though ball comes across to Pollock Pollock he goes further to Milly gets the pass out the back NE nice play down this left hand side Alan to the man that got the pass away that kick bounces up kindly straight into the arms of the roosters line break to start the half um Aaron to has looked probably one of the more dangerous Runners out on that left side in the first half so maybe that's a get him some earlier ball and simpler ball and just take him on um good to see some composure when they make the break there but yeah opportunity may be lost there by Willi great start to the half there well fairly similar to the first half with with Freo first set was a was a really good one as well both teams their first first sets of each half been pretty solid so roosters looking for that double inside just holding on to it there though what a good so looks looking to find grass with that kick now looking just to come towards the middle of the field very composed set by fro that um maybe that was the word at halim let's just have some simplify it and be composed they got it in okay position but they finished in great position there yeah Lusty just taking a hit up there plenty of BLS I would be giving the hit up before Flynn L he's straight through again going through again Alan to and Another Round the Corner PA and up over halfway they go Slamm down hard there shy G now they work down a a short side Parson chopped down nice settled by Parsons after the break there they've got some options now last e they did have some options they stood still he didn't like the money didn't push with him goes deep for that kick was an end overend bomb he had plenty of time it's a poor Chase had a lot of time to put that kick in and it was pretty average given that and he he was the only one chasing his own kick an absolutely fantastic Tackle by the man who's having a great second half at the moment moment well he's had a fantastic start to the the second half Alan TOA he's at created two line breaks now come up with a a big dumping tackle as now the roosters looking to go through the middle Mr leot is back on the field there a lovely tip on there so that's good to see he's recovered from that first half knock kuk kavaz out on that left hand side there is a roosters player down I think that's the lock vahi who's had some very powerful runs this half in the first half he's a very busy player very Lively player defensively and in attack so if he's got an injury there that will be a big loss to their middle he was the one that got that little tip on play Yeah from leotta so it was good great line great pair work really it picked on a couple of lazy bodies in the Willie Bears team which has not been too much of sto the game momentarily for the the injury but when we come back there will be a a great opportunity for the roosters not on after the kick went through again a fairly composed set from The Roosters there the tip on it's still a short pass and it's numbers pushing but it's nothing nothing out of the complex playbooks being used there they're just rolling forward so I think that might definitely have been the word at half time from that might be Cameron seems to be the key here for for Freeman will simplify things and be often a bzw if you just need to complete but I think with third grade rugby league if you do complete your sets better than the other side chances are you're going to win the game well it's rugby league's a simple game and third grade rugby league is even simpler I resemble that [Laughter] remark the lock told to put his head in the scrum the lock is always the dummy half nowadays but anyway bit of a set play from the scrum win Willi read that handled that pretty easily some of the timing of the runs weren't quite right there but see what they do now half's not looking yeah could so he looked up at the last minute that could have been hor could [Music] embarrassing short pass going straight through the middle and as you said Ed it is a simple short B and topoki ariki goes over for the freem manal roosters the first try in the Grand Final and the chooks Take the Lead Four Points to two kick to cam on the cash ver a scoreboard they just ran that really hard line markers were um cruising a little bit and the a Defender was sat back on the underneath the stick so great run great timing there wasn't a lot of shape there either so I felt something fairly simplistic was coming up and simple doing things simply with a bit of Venom works well in third grade so good to see absolutely and and perhaps over R by Will pretty much everything has been going out the back of that that short Runner to good so who was setting up on the right and they've uh forgotten about the the crash line you got to close that gate in third grade it's the first place they will go otherwise so yeah that's that again that's that composure it's good solid sets out their own half good kick good Chase error try um I think um 30 staff will be over the moon with that and more of the same they'll be happy just got to find a way of stopping um alen to making all those breaks cuz that's one thing they haven't dealt with well this half so see if Willi work out when they get the ball back they'll be getting him the ball as much as possible I'd imagine yeah perhaps uh one thing freem man might want to look at is uh an adjustment perhaps on that their right hand side defense to try and shut him down try and get a uh a good defensive player over there as that the conversion attempt is successful and a three manal leading six points to two on the cash converted scoreboard 38 minutes gone so plenty of time left for the bear to get back in this one 38 minutes for the first try can the Bears respond towards the sideline allowed to bounce and bounc it away from Goodell picked up and coming back towards the middle is d d beats a couple gets right back into the middle of the field before running into a heavy shoulder it was a good tackle but that kick Chase again was they've let themselves down there the Bears it's been something they've uh an area that has been poor from Willi from the start there's a strong carry Mari phow punch down the right hand side had a dummy half they go Foster just taking on the the Winger tries to run over the top of him seni on five comes to Goodell puts a kick in he's found the ground almost every time oh and the knocked backwards well he's found a knock on in there I thought maybe it was a strip but either way ref said it's a lost ball again composed set good kick Chase and um error so wonder if we're going to have a repeat of the last try here well it's been a great start to this half from Freeman alth they they've really simplified things completing their sets and and composure as you said has been the the order of the day doing those simple things right saying that this scrum move looks like it might be quite complicated let's see if they can get the timing right this time on it good s goes across just goes himself gets it out Day Day dives into the corner gets the ball down and the roosters straight from the scrum some nice work from Lewis Goodell and they extend this lead yeah willig and all sorts of that scrum defending scrums is a tricky one you don't I often notice something a lot people don't practice the space available to is um significantly more than most sets when you build them so they made some errors there they stood off them got looked a bit confused but good comp composure by the seven he executed that really well we not giving it in that pass out to the wing was good under pressure and a nice finish he's been a a key component to to settling the roosters down and and it it took them a whole half really to to get themselves into the game and and Willi they're still not into it yet so it's hard to to see when they're going to be able to to get themselves back into the contest now that they're chasing points that scoreboard pressure will start to tell yeah willig's reaction to this is key I mean the kickoff last time so they kicked it to the corner PR let it bounce and they still made fairly easy me me up because the attitude and the chase wasn't there um again that's the thing that they've got complete control over so their reaction needs to be a positive one defensively and a disciplined one um so they can get just get some possession and start causing problems like they have done this whole half when they do have the ball slightly tougher kick here say [Music] seven or eight m in from touch the breeze about moves in strikes it pretty well holding up and drops over standing kick so it's three man are leading 12 points to six on the Cash Converter scoreboard 42 minutes gone but two tries in 4 minutes a 10o Advantage they need a set of tone here Willi with this defensive set sets a time for what's remaining in this third grade season for them bringing a few substitutions [Music] on falling off the t a sign that this wind's definitely getting up a cross field one isn't it not a massive advantage to anyone then kicking with the breeze towards that sideline that's a much better Chase there some discipline and line speed here let's see what they've got here defensively they're off their line couple of tip on plays through the middle it's up with Leota definitely looks to have fully recovered [Music] with Clark to push the marker out of the way and it's that a penalty and a s oh is he talking to the Freo player here he fired 10 fingers very quickly is that stop the clock I not sure what happened getting a report from the sideline here Kulu KZ has definitely gone over up the tunnel for this in B but he's having a chat to Freeman [Music] right The Roosters with the penalty bit of push and shove maybe the bins for a push to the face that sort of inflammatory behavior is not allow in third grade so you do have to sit [Music] down well that's that an even bigger mountain to climb now for the Bears 13 V12 for the next 10 [Music] minutes the rain comes in good run by L there there's getting some numbers into the tackle to to slow him down the roosters looking to power through the middle Boi aliki one of the tri scorers plays the ball quickly again that short ball to Clark definitely the Freo unfamiliar with as a player I think with the weather coming in at the moment and then being a man down relig this is great tactic by by the Goodell stepping stepping Goodell reaches out slams it down well he's been very good for the roosters and he gets over for a try that gives him a very nice Advantage just definitely a calming influence the way he come around the rock late on then and um they had numbers but yeah he just looks up sees what's happening and uh again makes an excellent decision this he he's done that this whole half there's a confidence about 3 in that attacking set as well I know it was um tactically it was a fairly fairly simple but there was they they ran with ran with confidence ran with each other few drop offs and I think they just knew what was coming well as you said that the breeze has come up the rain has come in they just they just kept punching in behind the rock doing those simple things right and then again in around close to side defense just wasn't there I know that's probably one of the gaps from the simin um but still there was nothing there then and finish probably should have been a bit easier clner but um they got there in the end I think that it's a bit of a blow for the Willie Bears there that might make the next um eight or so minutes a little bit unrealistic to get enough points J kick will come slowly into into Miracle territory now for the Bears they they haven't been in this game in the second half at all it's been all freem man very composed professional second half and they look like they are going to get the job done win the Grand Final it's been a great season from from both of these teams it's it's good to see Willie um here cuz they theyve only just moved up to a reserve grade so a lot of the side that played thirds last year would have been in there and um they've had a good season in that grade as well so two solid grades and obviously the clubhouse is the best ever been and I just think a lot of good stuff happening at Willi at the moment so it's exciting to see absolutely cuz uh well real local Rivals uh these two I me certainly when when Freeman are used to be at uh at Ken Allen you could walk from one ground to the other that's right great kick the goal kicking has been Sensational we've talked about the the win and how that could play Havoc with the goal kickers but uh every single one's going on a couple from the sideline one from each side sideline yeah that's very [Music] impressive on short oh and gets to it body on the line time there get the measure of manal rivalry is still alive not sure there's the send off has been sent he's uh the coming over to shake hands yeah it's not an Adam Blair no I thought for a moment he was uh going over for another go but uh shaked hands we're not going to give a penalty he's just going to say that's enough we're done game over that is the full-time siren referee has called it off and the freem manal roosters win it 24 points to six and I think we'll call the fight a draw yeah everyone's out of cudd and they're all friends again so well just a fantastic second half from The Roosters it was it was um back to the drawing board they hit that AB they had some more movement off the Rock and um it was just a controlled game and uh FR number seven Mr Pierce or Li it he um he controlled Lis good sell sorry leis good he controlled that really well he had he had a lot of time on the ball because of the go forward and he used it wise he didn't Panic um so I just I think he'd be uh' be fair very very fair
